The Unfortunate Tease sat in Dock 76 of the Prazhi Spaceport Complex, shining in all of it's neon-pink glory, and irritating the poodoo out of her Owner. Not new, not by a long shot, the thing was less of a vision of beauty, and more like the combination of a Sarlacc and a Rancor's crazy night out on the town, ending with a warp core. Whoever had designed the Barloz-class freighter had clearly decided that nice touches weren't needed, in the slightest.
Whoever had decided to modify the ship had clearly decided that something that ugly should have the weaponry to match.
Pala'aola didn't mind that.
For now, however, she sat, sipping a cup of poorly-made tea outside of her ship, perched on the cockpit, to be precise, and waited. Hopefully, some of the sleezy lowlifes that she'd advertised to wouldn't be AS scrungy as they all had looked, and maybe, just maybe, she could actually assemble a decent sort of crew, rather than just having to fly the blasted space-brick herself. It wasn't that Pala disliked silence, it was more that...well, the silence of space was probably the worst kind.

Ervisa Therani walked into Dock 76 of the Prazhi spaceport, with her tan duffel in hand and a Zeltron doctor in tow. It had been a night on the busy side for most people, but one quite tame by her standards. Drink like a sailor? Check. Beat the crap out of a guy? Check. Rescue the damsel in distress? Check.
And then there were the beyond-normal perks. Take a luxurious bath and clean her long raven hair? Yes. Definitely. That was something she was quite happy with. Of course to the Twi'lek she was about to meet for the second time, she'd look considerably different. Before her hair had been in its customary braid, now it was loose and wild, cascading down her shoulders and her back like a waterfall the color of the night sky. She'd tried putting it up in a ponytail, but it just hadn't felt right.
Suddenly the Mirialan ex-Jedi realized what had made the Twi'lek woman from earlier utter the word 'pink' with such venom. Before her was a medium freighter, a Barloz class. And it was pink. Not a subtle pink or almost-red, but an in-your-face take-no-prisoners PINK.
Almost immediately after noticing the ship, Ervisa noticed Pala, perched on top of the freighter as if she belonged precisely there. That was a pretty hefty distance up. However, the Mirialan was perfectly capable of closing it in a hurry.
Stopping at the base of the freighter she waved to the green Twi'lek atop it, then crouched. It was something she'd learned to do as a Jedi, to use the Force to bolster the abilities of her own body. She could jump higher, run faster, and generally go beyond normal limits. Even after leaving the Order, she stayed current on that ability. With a tremendous push from the ground, she launched herself high into the air.
At the very peak of her leap, she tucked her legs up to her chest and turned it into a front-flip. At just the right moment, she lowered her legs again and they impacted on the metal of the hull next to the cockpit Pala was sitting on.
With the acrobatic feat executed perfectly, Ervisa sat down on top of the ship next to the Twi'lek, pulling her hair out of her face. It had become further disheveled with her leap.
"So, if you've still got job openings, I'm a pilot and a kickass cook. I also brought you a Doctor. You may remember her from that time I had you open all those doors. Good times, good times."

Morwynn had arrived at the seedy motel after a rather long walk from Ervisa's hotel. She was still a little shaky on her feet but she managed to find herself there eventually. She quickly went about gathering her things, from her bonesaw to her very large collection of different drugs. The black market on Prazhi was a drug users dream, or in this case, a doctors best friend. She didn't use any of them recreationally as a rule, she had a very set mind against drug use for anything other then medical purposes, most likely due to her memories with Greggor, she just stuck to alcohol. When she finally packed in her final scalpel, in to her medical kit, she threw what clothes she had into a dufflebag and headed back out the door.
Once meeting up with Ervisa again, they headed to the docks to meet with the perspective new employer. Morwynn didn't know what to expect from the person, she didn't remember their meeting all that well, as she was completely drugged for the encounter, but Ervisa assured her that the client was going to be "fun". Which despite knowing Ervisa for only a short time, could mean anything. But Morwynn had decided to just roll with the punches, and that decision brought her to a ship...a very pink ship....
"So, if you've still got job openings, I'm a pilot and a kickass cook. I also brought you a Doctor. You may remember her from that time I had you open all those doors. Good times, good times." Ervisa asked as they arrived. Morwynn shot her a slightly sideways glace, but shrugged it off as another "Ervisa-ism", to which she was going more and more used too.
"Hello, I'm Morwynn." She said to the green Twi'lek sitting on top of said ship. "I'm a doctor. And you would be the owner of this Ship I take it?" She asked. "It's very...pink..." She remarked in a confused tone.

Yep, Pala said, sighing softly as she took another sip of her rather deliciously steamy drink. No one's come lookin' for them yet, and yes, my ship is rather pink. I intend to ram as many asteroids with it as possible to remove some of the blasted color she continued, frowning a little at the intrusion. In all truths, she hadn't really expected anyone to come looking for her, and had been planning on finishing her drink and leaving.
With another sigh, she slid off the nose of the cockpit, down to the ground, landing rather gracefully as she looked back up to Ervisa, then to Morwynn, scanning them with wary eyes. Name's Pala'aola. Ship was a gift. Pay's not a promise, it's a nice surprise. I plan on doing everything from mercenary work to smuggling. Going to avoid taking bounties, if at all possible, but if we need the money badly enough, my handcannons make great holes in people, that mandalorian-dressed egomaniacal bastard almost lost his little 1/8th caret jewels in the bar, if you remember. I'm usually not that quick to anger. As she looked over the two, while still speaking, her eyes rested on Morwynn, a hairless brow raising, lekku flicking ever so gently. Either you're going, or your not, but I'm shipping out in 15, so your choice

Ervisa followed Pala down, executing her own perfect landing. It was quite a long way down, and she had to admit she was surprised Pala had landed so well. She was quite impressed by that. She was also impressed by the authority Pala had when speaking.
Pay wasn't a guarantee. Well fine, when was pay a guarantee? Doing odd jobs. Fine, what job wasn't odd? Of the list, the only objectionable possibility was bounty-hunting, and even then who'd expect the pilot to be the button man? On the whole, she had no qualms.
She had indeed noticed the fact that she'd almost splattered a Mandalorian in the cantina, and it was somewhat reassuring to hear she wasn't normally that easy to anger, if only from the standpoint that working with an explosive violent temper was a little impossible. Ervisa really couldn't blame her though, even her own mellow nerves were getting bothered by that man.
Shipping out in fifteen minutes.
No problem.
Ervisa slung her duffel back over her shoulder, and stared up the ramp of the freighter. She'd made her decision. Time to follow it.
"I'm with you through and through, true and blue, ready to do, whatever you want me to." Ervisa saluted, and proceeded to walk up the open ramp and look around the interior of the freighter. She'd never actually seen the inside of a Barloz before...

(Short post, but I needed to finish it...)
Morwynn was slightly saddened that pay would not be ensured, but when was it? She shrugged it off and listened to Pala speak about the kind of work they'd be doing. Nothing she wasn't okay with, Smuggling and mercenary work was fine with her. She had been in fights before, it wasn't exactly new to her, so she could manage. And she'd also have a place to stay which was a big plus, maybe even regular meals...That made up her mind.
"I'm in." She said and walked toward the ship's ramp, it was a freighter, which was good, there would be room for her and maybe even a proper medical bay. She cringed at the thought of what kind of medical supplies it had, but hey, that's what she's here for. "Where's the medical bay? Morwynn asked Pala as she got near the ship, and prayed it wasn't pink.

Waiting for the other two females to move towards the ship's Boarding ramp, Pala listened as her new...doctor...asked about a Medical Bay, then laughed aloud. Medical bay? she asked, passing Morwynn and heading to a small cabinet, removing and tossing a package of bandages and a bottle of peroxide. There ya go. This rusted piece of crap doesn't have a dedicated medical facility, much to my personal dismay, she told the poor Zeltron, her voice not quite dripping with sarcasm, as much as leaking it in all directions. But if it makes you feel any better, I'll try my damndest to avoid losing anything important, mmk?.
That out of the way, the Twi'lek gripped Ervisa by the shoulder, smiling as she guided the woman towards the cockpit, So, girly, I heard you say you can pilot, right? she asked, the question somewhat loaded as Pala watched the...effervescent girl's face for a reaction.

"So, girly, I heard you say you can pilot, right?"
Ervisa nodded as a response as she was guided up into the cockpit, which was just where she'd been hoping to go to anyway.
"Yeah, I'm a pilot. I fly things, y'know?"
The Mirialan woman tossed down her duffle and promptly looked around the spacious cockpit. It had to be about forty square feet all said and done. Nice and roomy. There were four seats there, each at a console. In the front right corner was her seat, that of the pilot. A cursory glance assigned role to the others. Front left, co-pilot. Back left, shields. Back right, sensors and comms. She could work with that.
The expression on her face throughout her exploration was hardly changed from what it was the majority of the time. Namely, relaxed and vaguely amused. This was no different from any other activity she did in a way. They were all interesting enough, apart from the occasional bit of boredom she struggled to avoid. Besides, on those occasions she had booze and tabac.
Promptly Ervisa slid behind the pilot's console, settling into the seat. First impressions? Nice padding, pretty colors on the display.
Her fingers ran across the readouts like a concert pianist, as she worked all the while to figure out the interface. It was straight forward, but different. All models of ship had their own unique traits. She just caught on quickly.
Once she had the hang of the readouts, she looked at the status of each major system. From structural integrity to main propulsion, everything was working
Two and a half minutes total passed before Ervisa rotated the seat to face Pala.
"Yeah, I can totally fly this thing. Get some fuzzy dice hanging over there, maybe an air freshener... You know, the little ones shaped like a tree."
She kicked her feet up onto the dash and threw her hands behind her head, leaning back in quite the relaxed posture.

Tan-fastic Pala replied, going through the internal preflights, checking fluid levels and the like. Our departure is cleared with Port Authority, once we're outside the Gravitational influence, set a course...somewhere...hmm, Out there she added, grinning and pointing randomly. Such would be the norm, however, for this somewhat out-of-sorts crew. No clear direction, just a general idea of what they were looking for.
