Nui's Jewel Crew Recruitment Thread

Sure thing, I suppose if you need muscle he would be perfect but he will be prone to aggression and a relentless pursuit of targets. Plus he might head out every once in a while for bounties. He would just stick with the crew so he didn't have lulls in his work.

Edit: I could probably have him have some skill as a Mechanic to help with the crew more.

Well, I think we only really need someone who's main focus is... well... being the muscle. Three of the crew will be adept at mechanics, but we need someone who's primary focus is machines and such. I think that Sentoyo's character could do it and if he's stranded on Kuras IV then he would be able to join between the Tatooine mission and the next one quite easily (seeing as the Jewel's base is on Kuras IV, Viktor would just need to have an activate distress signal of some kind.

Also, CK, the main intention for this is to have each crew member living on the Jewel and their small base on Kuras IV so I don't know if he'd be an actual member if he wasn't with them all the time.

If it's not having enough action for him that you're worried about then I wouldn't. I pretty much forsee violence on every mission.

Oh yeah, he would live with the crew and stuff, I just thought every once in a while he could take off to do a bounty to make some cash (i.e. if there is a lull in our rps.)

But yeah, I will just stick with the muscle thing then.

I'm sure we'll share our bounties with the whole crew.

Well, bounties isn't this crew's thing. They're more for smuggling things, or getting their hands on certain information/items. Of course, they're bound to come across opposition in the form of crime lords, grunts, security forces, maybe even mercs, but I don't think they're the kind to take on a bounty.

But, they might take a fighting mission if it was important enough. As in, protecting a bunch of innocent folk.

Boom, there he is, ready to be reviewed. He hasn't been approved yet, but this is the general idea I have for him. I also have him conveniently trapped on Kuras IV for when he is approved.

A bit of info about my character:
She views her life as a game. Finding one challenge after another to beat, no matter what it is, illegal or not. She is sarcastic and tough, young and headstrong but still fairly immature. She has a rebellious attitude towards the law. She would do well with a mentor to guide her. She has a problem with authority figures who don't earn her respect and isn't afraid to voice her opinions or second guess them, and if it comes to technicians/mechanics she is usually right, however; she is extremely loyal to those who earn her respect.

I've got a mechanic style guy in the works, Fringer and, once approved, is stranded. Now I'm waiting on word to see if the revisions got him approved. Hopefully sometime tommarow he'll be finished and can jump in (I mentioned him earlier, but thought I'd give a general update on his status)

I am thinking of starting my character off on Ryloth, The Twi'lek home world. It is also very close to tattoine and lies directly on the Corellian run.

Well, since I'm already crashed on Kuras IV, I just need to know if I should set the thread up, and when.

Jennos, maybe we need an updated list of the current crew (either here or in our discussion thread), so we have a better idea of which positions are open?

Alrighty, updated, pointed out both the potential mechanic profiles out to Meira who's currently looking them over and thinking about them. If any of the crew would like to talk to her about it then pm her.

And in regard to the two folks who crashed on Kuras, that would make things easier. It means we'd be able to pick up those two on there (assuming that mechanic is chosen) and then the other three on the mission afterwards with the upstanding-corporate guy. Or we could just have the one on Kuras IV and then the other four during the mission.

Of course, if we come up with more specifics for the mission then it might be easier to fit the characters in.
