Character Name: Vreem Took, High Council Member/Commander of the Blades <--- link to profile
Character Faction: Jedi Order/Blades of the Order
Number Of People Wanted: One or two.
Reason For Partner(s): Basically, with him going into the war I think it will be interesting to give Vreem an apprentice or two, if I can find the right people/candidates. With the rule of two padawans to a Master I think I could really have some interesting roleplaying going on between Vreem and his apprentices during moments of relapse in the war and then some even better stuff during the war itself. It might be one of the few things that keeps him from really cutting himself off from everything around him.
Other: Now, there are a few important things that need to be gone over/mentioned. The first is that Vreem will be playing a large part in the war, which will mean many things. One, the Jedi who become his apprentices are likely to have a bit different training than most, after all a lot of his time will be spent planning, ordering and communicating to higher ups in the Republic and also, of course, a heavy involvement with the battles themselves. It most certainly wont be a position for any Jedi who will not want to go to war.
Two, I myself will be busy, there are going to be many threads happening all around the place and I might not be the most punctual poster because of it, so you will have to have patience (though hopefully if there are two apprentices they can feed off one another).
Third, you need to appeal to me. It sounds quite zealous but I don't really want to take risks with pairing Vreem up with folks if I don't think they'll really mesh well. If I don't say yes to any of you don't think it's because your character's rubbish or that you can't write, Vreem is just quite unique and as such I find he's drawn to other unique people.
I may also have one person as a possible candidate already, they are currently working on their character and after having communicated with them a little bit we think our characters might make a good matching. I think that if you talk to me about your character, what you want them to do, possible options you see in their future and give me the impression you have a lot of deep thought in regards to your character then this will also likely appeal to me (I suggest using msn but if you do not have it/want to use it then there are always PMs, however this will slow things down considerably.
Finally, I suggest having some knowledge for Vreem, although this can be obtained a little bit from communication over an instant messenger. I'd like folks to post up the names of their characters and a link would be most helpful along with any other information you think might interest me (and of course PM/IM about more in depth stuff if you wish). If you don't actually have a character approved or in the pending section but think you might like to make one for the position then just PM me about your ideas and such, I'm quite happy to talk over things such as that.
Also, when/if I settle on two apprentices for Vreem, it might be a little while until he formally takes them both on as apprentices (ie, when the Blades are created).
