[The Conman]

Reiisha was storming up the staircase, towards the roof. More importantly, towards an all together too familiar force presence.

About 10 minutes before, she'd been in the downtown area, coming from helping a planning council negotiate with a group of farmers. Her stay on Murkhana had been pretty peaceful upto that point. Though it was basically neutral territory, there hadn't been so much as a hiccup, until then.

As the tall, thin, blonde haired Jedi was passing by an electronics store, the 9 or so holo's that were on display were all on the same news network. Blairing something about a " Madman weilding Lightsabers". He was apparently attacking the hospital, and had taken a hostage to boot.

Sith...here...why?

Was Reiisha's thought process. Murkhana wasn't "tactically important", had no special natural resources, and in the grand scheme of the galaxy was beyond smaller than a grain of sand. Why the Sith would make a move on it was beyond her, it just didn't make any sense. But, the facts were the facts.

There was a Sith. In the hospital.

It wasn't an overly large leap of deductive reasoning to assume that the police on Murkhana wouldn't have the slightest idea of how to handle such a threat. Nor would they be able to bring the Sith down without a great deal of blood shed. The logical thing to do, therefore, was to go assist.

Which, was just what Reiisha did.

Reiisha ducked down and covered her head with her hand, dodging back to the stairwell about 6 steps below. Her training alowed her to be quick and nimble, this particular instance being no different. She was only one flight from the, now partially crushed, door to the roof.

He's here, I can feel it...

She muttered to herself, after the rumbling stopped.

Tennatively, she negotiated her way up the stairs, trying each step before placing her full weight on it. After a minute or so, she managed to wriggle her way out past the jammed door, and found herself face to face with a daemon from her past.

Koeing.

Reiisha took a second or two to survey the scene. Police split into two groups, the roof caved in, and Koeing standing in the middle of it all, dressed like a Sith.

So, that's where you slithered off to.

She shouted over the roar of a freighter soaring overhead, presumably to orbit.

Koeing shook his head and laughed, of all the people to run into in the galaxy it just had to be Reii. His green eyes focused on her as his right hand traces the hilt of his Viridian lightsaber, his body tensed and he toyed with the idea of just attacking her and getting this over with. He could kill her and deal his second blow to the Order by taking the life another Jedi betrayer, or he could try and turn her to the Dark Side show her the error of her ways and deliver an even greater blow.

A smirk crossed his lips revealing his elongated canines, a trait of his race that worked well for intimidation. He took a few steps toward her before speaking, his movements daring her to attack for being so arrogant as to approach her. "The Order betrayed me Reii! Me and my Master, he's dead now because of the Orders inability to act, they left him to die and he deserved better. I will be his sword and enact the vengence he cannot, join me Reii and we can bring the Order to it's knees they cannot stop the Sith."

His right hand wrapped around the hilt to his viridian lightsaber and unclipped it, his thumb pressed down on the switch and it ignited with a sharp snap. The bucket as Donnie and Var had chosen to name it was out of his reach now, he could do no more for them, they were out of harms way and he could focus on his past which stood before him. "Join or Die."

He growled the words as his body slipped into the opening Niman stance awaiting Reii's decision, if she decided to join him he would bring her along to Tatooine then back to Korriban. If she opposed him he would have to end her life, he could not have her haunting his shadow every moment for the rest of his life. So he prepared himself to kill off the last remnant of his past, the woman who stood before him, once dead he could focus his rage on the current Order who seemed to think they could oppose the Sith.

Reii considered her situation.

If her memory served her, which it did, Koeing was a better sword than she was. They were on a rooftop, and her only way out was to wriggle through a crack in a smashed stairwell.

She could fight, her Makashi was pretty good, but not as good as Koeing. That was, however, a last resort. She was currently more interested in hearing her old friend's part of the story. He deserved that much, at least.

Realistically, he was probably still furious about whatever had happened. It wasn't uncommon that Jedi would get frustrated with the leadership and have a few choice words about them, and possibly their dubious maternal parentage. Reii knew she'd spent more than a few hours in the training areas beating the wee out of training droids to take out her frustration.

But she never let it boil over. Not like Koeing. Whatever had happened, whatever he'd seen, it didn't square with hers. Which wasn't a bad thing, there were still questions about Koeing's master's demise, they weren't openly discussed however. The decision was that Koeing had killed him, and turned to the darkside.

Reii had always been on the fence about it.

She relaxed her stance, hopefully Koeing would relax for a moment and realize that you can't simply say " join us or die".

Ok, Koeing, Couple of things.

She paused, and tossed off her cloak, the weather deeming it unnecessary.

One, What the crap, I come all the way up here, and you immediately think I'm after you. I was in the neighbourhood. Figured I'd stop and say hi.

She held up a second finger.

Second, You really have to get better at popping the question....Join or Die? I can't make that decision on the spot, this isn't buying a vacuum cleaner.

She held up a third finger.

Third, let's hear it. Your side of things. I'm gonna give you a chance to tell me what really happened. What happens after that I can't comment on, but for now, I want to hear what you have to say.

She stopped, waiting for the man's response.
