Kaiven had to admit, it wasn't often that he got the message in the temple that his services were needed in the middle levels of Coruscant for something as trivial as a small time spice gang harrassing the citizens in the area. He liked the middle levels. Most of the people there were middle classed, hard working people that kept to themselves. It was just that every now and then some ruffian decided to come along and disturb the peace.
And, of course, he knew that some of the places that young padawans who had snuck out of the temple were likely to be found.
He swept through the streets, his hood pulled up over his head, hiding his mask from view. Everyone turned to watch as they walked past the experienced master. He smirked for a moment - he had been told that his presence demanded attention and authority. Naturally, this helped him cleave a path straight through the crowd.
His first stop was a small cafe nearby. It was somewhere that he knew Padawans were likely to hang around. He needed some help, afterall, and with the Jedi spread as thin as they were... No. It was not after desperation that he forced himself to look for assistance in the diner. It was a great opportunity to train another, to impart his skills of wisdom upon others.
He was almost surprised to only find one Jedi in the small, brightly lit place. He looked straight across at the young Togorian, before saying, "Tevash. What a surprise." His voice put across a hint of bemused sarcasm as he spoke before he continued, "You aren't meant to be here, so as punishment, you're coming with me." His eyes looked dangerous for a moment before he said quietly, "We have work to do."
It was no mere coincidence that Kaiven knew the Padawan's name., He had heard the talk amongst the trainers. Apparently the brilliantly white furred Togorian was one of a kind. Strong, fast, and turning into a talented swordsman... He also had a knack for ignoring consequences that reminded him much of himself at that age. "Lets put your skills to good use."
