I have played all of the games, through each and every campaign, and read every single scrap of history and storyline I could get my hands on without doing something illegal. Blizzard, awesome developers despite being a "bunch of death-metal stoner heads"

All of the warcraft games all have a special place in my heart, my reactions to most were of awe and amazement, except for WoW.

WoW I don't really like that much, not as much as the other ones because it goes off the beaten path of what Warcraft originally was: A real-time strategy game with tons of opportunity for a continuous storyline. Then it all changed when they realeased WoW, where the main plot (if it's even there) gets blurred by all the other things to do.

Go ahead devotee's of WoW, flame me all you want.

Totally agree with you there.

I played Warcraft 1 when it came out, liked it, then I played WarCraft 2, liked it more. Then I played WarCraft 3 and fell in love with the incredibly intricate storyline, which actually (along with Blizzard's greatest masterpiece, StarCraft) Got me into RPing in the first place, which is probably pretty good for all of you all.

So when WoW came out, I played it for a while before I realized that, as a game, it was just another poorly concieved MMORPG, where power-leveling and grinding was more important than achieving quests... Which brings me to the totally random point of the first truly superb MMORPG, DDO.

Warcraft and Starcraft are, in my mind, the greatest of their class. Nothing else has ever come close for me (I mean. hell, I still enjoy wading through legions of Zerglings with a few Goliaths to this day. Need to get Warcraft re-installed, though...).

D3 had posters at E3 last year, so they will probably release a trailer around that time this year. OMGOMGOMG this summer is going to be amazing for gamers like me. New hardware, Crysis, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R, I'll never be bored!

THREAD RESSURECTION IN PROGRESS

mmm...Warcraft...now that I think about it, the more I remember all the years I wasted on it, along with Morrowind. Has anyone done anything with the campaign editor? I've done a few thing with it, but only things that I really enjoy (mainly "Dungeon Crawl" type scenarios and "Fortress Assaults")

Best one for me was Warcraft 2, it was the one that first got me into it all, I spent years on that, and I still go back from time to time. I'm a vintage gamer, I'll admit it. Games with simple graphics and clean clear pixels hit the spot; but when it's a 2d game trying to be 3d, it just doesn't cut it.

P.S. I originally thought W3 was going to suck because they took out the ogres, and the naval combat from W2, pissed me off greatly...I really hate how they just come up with some retarded reason to change alliances between factions...

I love Warcraft 3! I always will! =) I would create RP games online and roleplay with people...Thats how I started my life as a roleplayer. As for WoW:

Just been playing Warcraft 3. Awesome game, so fun.
Played WoW for ages simply because of the social stuff, since I found a fun group to play with. Got an 80 warlock but I could summarise the amount of major plot in those 80 levels in under a minute. Stopped playing January because basically I have better things to do now.

Diablo 3 soon. Kickass. Never played Starcraft, will be keeping an eye out in the shops for a copy though.

I have played and completed every game aswell. And also have WoW with the Burning Crusade expansion pack. To me, it takes several days to get into it, but then it's amazing. It's the type of game that looks really rubbish when you're watching someone play it, yet it amazing when you play it

I reccomend getting Starcraft, the expansion pack and Starcraft 2. But starcraft 1 is the best .
storyline.

One Warcraft 3, I think the humans has the best ending, the whole atmosphere about it. The prince coming home, clad in black, kneeling at his father whilst Frostbourne speaks to him.... mwa ha ha!

Blizzard's games in general are a godsent to the pc gaming nerds of the world. They shelter from the harsh reality of ...reality and instead place us in command of mighty pixeliated ass kickers.

All hail Blizzard, not even Bungee can come close!
