Appearance: Dakano stand about 1.6 meters tall. He has crimson red skin, his eyes are black with silver irises which is rare among his kind. Like the rest of his race Dakano wears a antiox breath mask to filter out the oxygen which is deadly to him. He has no hair. Dakano is short being only a child and slightly muscular. Dakano prefers to wear loose fitting clothes that allow more movement. He does not like wearing hoods unless they are loose because they feel weird on his sensory organs. He prefers to wear dark clothing such as brown, black, grey and dark green. He often wears the traditional jedi robes.
Personality: Dakano is fair tempered. He does not get angry easily and can sometimes be shy. Dakano is not selfish if he has something and you need it he will most likely lend it to you. Even though he has a passive temper he is extremely loyal and protective of his friends. He is quick to anger if they are threatened.
He makes friends easily but is not quick to get emotionally attached. Though most of his friends are younglings he does have several friends who are knights. He is not very close with anyone above the rank of knight. He tries to maintain a student-teacher relationship only. He hopes that if and when he becomes a padawan he will be able to develop more friendly relationships. Unless he is with his friends Dakano tends to mind his own business and can often be found studying in the archives. Other youngling often make playful jokes because of how much time he spends studying.

Bio: Dakano was born on the planet Dorin, his family lived in the capital city of Dor'shan. They were middle class but were not wealthy. His father being a soldier and his mother was a healer at the military base they lived on. They decided not to give him a traditional Kel Dor name as neither of them had one. His father's name was Nakoi and his mothers name was Shaka. Being a military family they were often at work but they were good parents and Dakano had everything he needed.
From the very beginning the family knew there was something strange about Dakano. For five years Dakano lived with his parents. His parents kept him at home for fear that something would happen to him. They were very nervous whenever they let him out of the house. Dakano never really got a chance to play with the other neighborhood children. Dakano wished he could have friends but on the other hand he had everything he needed.
At a very young age. they took him to the base's hospital and got a doctor who checked his midochlorian levels and realized that he might be force sensitive. The results were then sent to the jedi watchman for the Dorin system. The jedi watchman arrived within a few days and determined that Dakano was indeed force sensitive. At first his parents were reluctant to allow their only son to be taken to a far off world to be trained. The jedi explained to them the life that Dakano would lead as a jedi and how he would work for the betterment of the galaxy. They finally decided to let him go. They were very sad but also knew he would live a better life with the jedi.
Dakano stood before the council. His extent of his force sensitivity. The council decided he needed to be trained. After he was accepted his training began as a youngling. He especially found an interest in galactic history. He began to hone his Telekinetic abilities and excelled in lightsaber combat. He never did well in the area of telepathic abilities. He got along well with his instructors while his peers became a sort of family to him.
At age 8 one of his best friends named Piodas Convarion who happened to be a knight was killed while on a mission. Dakano had made friends with this knight as he was one of the jedi that had accompanied the jedi watchman who brought him to the temple.
When Dakano learned of the death of Piodas he was overcome with sadness. It was the first time he realized how risky being a jedi could be. He became depressed. One of his intructors came into his quarters and warned him about becoming too attached to others. He said that to much attachment could eventually lead to the darkside. Dakano listened and realized that the instructor was right. The more attached he was the more it would hurt when something happened to them.
Since that incident many of Dakano's friends have come and gone. He now has grown somewhat and realizes that this is a fact of life. He is not as quick to get attached to people as he used to be.
He is now 12 and studies harder than ever. He hoping to be picked by a master. He knows that he must find one by his 13th birthday or his studies as a jedi may never continue.
