Mission Name: Keep Your Head Down Planet: Mygeeto Major NPC Characters: Jedi (Blades) Number of Participants: 2-4 Participants: - Nieraan Onin [Rugs] Torran Doe [kt] Zarene Yin [sparrow] Irad Demiar [drakesturmwynd] Mission Requirements: - Mission Briefing: Word from S.A.I. forces upon Mygeeto is that there is a group of Blades sneaking around the city of Jygat in search for information regarding the Sith Empire and the Sith Order. Given that the members of S.A.I. have no way to determine true numbers or strength of these Jedi, a group of Sith will go and handle the problem before these Jedi stumble upon anything that might be useful to them.
~~~~~~
Alright, so sparrow's told me he'd like to put Zarene in, so I went on and signed her up as well. That fills us up on PCs, though we do need someone to handle NPCs.
Anyway, this is obviously the thread to work some things out for this. I'm wondering myself how Irad fits into this? Is he part of the Sith, or...?
What's up, drake?
At the moment, Irad is unaffiliated. But the intention of the plot with Hotel was that he was going to basically become what he had once been, although tempered now with the fact that he'd already gone light once, blah blah blah.
I don't remember if she was going to bring him to the Sith Order, but I know I had planned for him to come to their attention somehow or another, and I saw this and went.... "Wow. His former battle buddies fighting against the very people I want him to join... how convenient is THAT?"
Alright, so does he just show up and start attacking the Jedi, or does he try to play an angle or something? What do you have in mind?
Well, I'm figuring he'll come in at a moment that won't result in his immediate death. But he'll definitely play an angle. Like the fact that I do still have him listed as a MEMBER of the Blades. Meaning he knows who's who with them, and might have some valuable information on which ones to be careful of.
Drake's character would be fairly useful for intel on the enemy...but trusting said info might be questionable...we're sith after all haha. As far as I'm concerned, Drake won't be coming in till a small bit later so that leaves us with how the remaining people will start. Any ideas?
Not sure. This is one mission that's guaranteed to sound like something that may involve some fighting, so Nieraan will likely be far more willing to be helpful and contribute than he has been in the other mission thread he's in, which starts off with a focus on diplomacy. I'm not sure if he would want to lead, if the group even has a 'leader' proper, though of the three Sith, he's the oldest/most experienced, I think. That said, I think Zarene would also work quite well in a leadership position, given her past roles in Sith operations, and I'm sure Nieraan would be more than fine with that.
As for the plan, do they come in wanting to try to take the Jedi out as quietly as possible, or are they goin' at it with balls bared and sabers burning?
Edit: Actually, trying to lure them into some trap with a false trail or something and then springing an ambush on them might be interesting... Just a thought
Torran honestly I don't think should be the leader though, I think Zarene would be a good fit for the position, her or Nieraan. Not saying Torran would be a poor choice per say as leader but he's much more accustomed to solo missions. As for the mission itself, Torran would be alright with either approach. Him being primarily an assassin means that he'd be quite alright with the silent kill but anything is fine honestly.
Well, I mentioned in the Sith Order mission thread that I'd be willing to play the NPCs for you guys to hunt down and capture or kill or tickle torture with a feather--whatever! So long as you guys are cool with it. What I came up with is this:
Blades NPCs: Ea, Jedi Master, leads the tiny Jedi taskforce in gathering intel on the Sith Empire within Mygeeto's city, Jygat. Capture or elimination would be seen as a major victory for Sith as this is a Jedi master who has actively been a thorn in the side of the Sith; in particular their intelligence agencies, even before the Sith Order usurped power back from the Aristocrats for rule over the Empire.
Telk, Jedi Knight, a former Padawan of Ea until his knighthood joined the Blades with his master and volunteered to be part of the taskforce. Passionately tries to follow in his master's footsteps, and perhaps given time in another decade or so could do just that.
Qur, Jedi Knight, only recently joined the Blades while Ea and Telk had been apart of them for some time now, almost since their conception. Like many young knights he is prone to compulsion, but is a talented Jedi with potential. He and Telk are said to have a long standing close relationship.
SAI NPCs: Glauruna, an SAI field operative, she serves as a liaison to the Sith relaying what the SAI has gathered during their continued operations in Jygat, and to provide/relay whatever else the Sith may request of SAI in the hunt for the Jeedai.
You guys cool with them?
Don't forget to mention that there's another who seems to be a Jedi planet side, but that this one hasn't made any attempt to contact the others, and has in fact gone out of his way to AVOID contact.
- Double post obligatory apology here -
Now that that's out of the way. Actually, looking at it. *death's head grin* Now would be a GREAT time to introduce Irad here. Twould be awshum indeed. However, I needed to make sure that kt and Rugs were aware that it had been started. Kinda dead right now. GO GO GO GO!
....It was Christmas, mate heh, we'll get to posting soon after the festivities are well and over. I think it'd be a great idea if the actual sith went first before Irad simply so they can all get established quickly. If it's alright with Rugs, he can go before me :3 This alright with you drake?
Actually I think having Irad post sooner rather than later will help to break up what would otherwise be a big block of Sith. Your choice.
I agree with Sparra. Also, I'm not entirely clear on what exactly Irad is doing or going to be doing. So, I'm basically just having the 3 Jedi NPCs working cohesively together doing their own thing blissfully unaware of Irad's existence there.
