Officer Shakka Dawana stared at the clock in the tenth level of the Aldera Spaceport and counted the hours until her shift was over. Graveyard was always one of the best in her opinion though. In the earliest hours of the morning you didn't have to deal with bustling crowds of tourists, just the occasional arrival or departure, and sometimes a drunk or two staggering from one of the cantinas in the port.
It wasn't bad on the whole. Course she didn't mind dealing with people, and trying to sleep through a full morning was rough. Invariably the garbage would be collected just as she was drifting off in her studio apartment and sleep would be ripped away from her. It wasn't easy.
Still, a job was a job, and she liked hers. Being a police officer with the Aldera Department was a decent enough job. It was a safe place, with very few times where you needed to even pull a stun baton, least of all a blaster, and the pay and benefits were quite good. It was just the hours that completely blew.
The orange Twi'lek moved her lekku, or headtails, back over her shoulders and down her front, where she normally kept them. Well, tried to keep them. Her lekku were on the short side, which meant often they slid right back off her shoulders and down her back without provocation. It was almost embarrassing really, having lekku that short. They were like a trait of prowess among Twi'leks, and hers were less than par.
She paused in the middle of the traffic and lowered herself to one knee, fiddling with the laces on left boot, making sure it was on tightly and securely. Always important with her job. When she rose up again, she verified her blaster pistol was in its holster on her duty belt, with her baton across from it.
Yes, everything was perfectly in place and she continued walking down the mostly empty corridors of Spaceport.

Alderaan. Such a peaceful planet, it's beauty second only to it's tranquility. Pirate Gangs were non-exsistant, law-breakers rare and any form of illegal trade stopped by local police forces. Well, nearly all illegal trade Thought Athos, chuckling to himself. He had picked this planet for his "outside of the law"-type deals for the simple reasons already explained, it was so peaceful that local police forces would be lacking in any real experiance and no one would ever expect any sort of illegal activity here at all. Perfect.
Athos was waiting around in the Aldera Spacesport, along with two of his underword contacts, for a shipment of "hard to get" goods. From spices to tech, he planned to sell the lot when he got back to Nal Hutta, then return to Korriban and recommence his training again. A nice, quick trip. Nothing that could complicate it, unless the Black Market on Nal Hutta proved to be as frustrating as the last time he went. Was ambushed last time, wasn't I? Just a rookie who had stumbled upon some loot on Corellia... Those were the days Athos thought to himself, as he fixed his eyes on a nearby container, thinking about his former days as a Bounty Hunter.
"The ship is here." Said one of his contacts, a human female in her thirties.
"About damn time, come on." Replied Athos, getting up and checking to see if the lightsaber he had "borrwed" from the Accademy was on his hilt. It was, as was his blaster and a few thermal detonators. You never knew when you would need them.
Athos walked over to the landing pad, joining his two "comerades" as they waited for the ship to land. They both had exchanged a few words before Athos had a chance to overhear them, the human female nodding as the rodian male, the other contact, whispered something in her ear, though he disregarded them. "They're getting a fair payment, and they would be no match for me, so no need for them to double cross me. Right?" Thought to himself, he's paranoia kicking in just as he stopped behind them. The ship had landed, and the pilot and his two man crew got out, guns visible on their belts. The pilot, Harn Lor, was a good friend of his. Well, as good as it can get.
"Harn! Good to see you! Now, unload the cargo and you'll get your full payment.
"Blimey, you always did go straight to for the point, ey?" Said Harn, smiling at Athos. Harn was one of the only people who got away with mocking Athos, and he used this privelige anytime he could.
"Do it quick enough and I may even give you a bonus." Said Athos, a hint of a smile dancing on his lips.
"Like That's ever gonna happen." Harn replied, laughing.
As they had been talking, the two contacts had walked over to the ship and started talking to the crew. Athos knew something was wrong, and when he finished talking to Harn, he shouted out to the small group.
"Get the cargo loaded on the ship on landing bay 4, then come meet us at the "Li-"" Athos ordered, before being cut of by two blaster shots. The contacts had shot the crew, and as the rodian charged at Athos with a small vibro blade, the human turned around and shot Harn twice, one in the arm and the other in the chest.
"Bloody hell!" Shouted Athos as he took his blaster out, and using the Force to place his lightsaber in his left hand. He then used the Force throw the lightsaber into the rodians chest, impaling the charging rodian with the Lightsaber, and shot the human in the arms, chest and head with his blaster.
Athos needed a plan quick. He could take what he needed from the corpses and ship, and then escape via the back alleys. He needed to blow the ship up first though, and the bodies, disposing of any evidence of his dealings. Alderaan could still be a useful drop off point for his underworld activities. He just needed to make it look like an accident, a ship with a faulty engine or something. It wouldn't matter if anyone saw him at that point, no evidence means no real investigation.
"Hell, I'll just blow up the landing pad. Athos thought to himself. Not like him to make a loud commotion like this, but someone was bound to hear the fight that had just ended and he couldn't leave any evidence behind.
Running onto the ship of he's dead friend, Athos tried to remember where Harn kept the exploisives. "Just for emergencies" Harn had said to him once, Or maybe if I get bored He said after, laughing.
Finding the exploisives, he began to place them around the landing pad, not really caring where, but spacing them out sufficiently to do the job.
"Come on..." He said to himself in frustration. He needed to make a quick exit and he needed to make it now.
He heard a noise behind him. Not only that, but he sensed someone behind him. A drunk, perhaps? He hoped. He couldn't kill or even harm anyone, otherwise an investigation would be aproved, and drunks were so much more easier to dispose of in a peaceful manner then normal civilians, or worse yet, local security.

Shakka's ears almost pricked up at a faint sound she considered unmistakable. Blaster fire. There was just something about the sound of a blaster firing that she could hone in on, possibly due to all her training in the Police Academy.
And due to her own experience.
It hadn't been more than a few months since she'd been in an altercation with a number of suspects in the food court, which had involved actually firing. Unfortunately the suspects had escaped, but she'd been heavily outnumbered and had done as good a job as anyone could have wanted. Hell, she'd even been shot during the incident, and later she'd been commended for doing her duty at grave personal risk.
With the same sense of duty, the orange Twi'lek pulled her B-44s Enforcer blaster pistol out of it's holster and sprinted down the corridor towards what she guessed was the source of the weapons fire. Simultaneously, she activated her comm link to report this.
"Dawana, Level 10 Section A3, shots fired."
She barely paid any attention to the voice replying over the communications device telling her to proceed with caution, because she was very busy opening doors and searching for the source of the sound.
The first door she checked was clear, and the second, but the third was correct. Docking Bay A-34. She knew it was correct because the minute the security override opened the doors, there were bodies on the floor. Looked like a Rodian and two humans down, and another man with his back to her placing what looked like explosives.
It was everything she could do to avoid shooting him in the back. Unfortunately there were rules of engagement to be followed, and she wasn't allowed to shoot if there wasn't imminent danger to her or other people. That was unfortunate, as blasting him would solve everything nicely.
Instead she opted to yell at him.
"Police! Drop your weapon, turn around, and move away from the bomb!"

"Police! Drop your weapon, turn around, and move away from the bomb!"
Athos sighs as he turns around, seeing an orange Twi'lek. From her foolish warning, he gathered she was Police, she also looked strong and somewhat sure of herself. The way she held the gun meant she had a minimal amount of experiance. Just what he needed...
"Why hello Officer! I want to report an two incidents, the first being a slaughter that occured a few minutes ago..."
Athos smirked at the Twi'lek, almost mocking her. He was, in fact, wasting time. Trying to look for a way to get out. It just had to be the police, huh?
"...And the large exploison that tragicly killed a brave Police Officer in the line of duty."
At that last remark, Athos laughed, treating the whole thing as a game. He knew he had already lost alot from this game. An investigation would follow, security increased and an oppurtunity lost. Killing her would make no difference. Unless he could somehow set her up, plant evidence to hide his own trail? To complicated. Security would be raised, but that would not stop him from using this planet as a drop off point. Tighter security just meant more inexperianced guards. All it would take is one who was easily manipulated or bribed.
Let's deal with that later. For now, I have an angry Twi'lek who is pointing a gun at me. A female at that. Though females pointing guns at me isn't not new Athos thought, chuckling to himself.
"So then, Officer, I presume you shall be arresting me? Well, you see, the thing is..."
Athos slowly walked towards the Twi'lek, almost subtly, distracting her with his words.
"...I was going about my buisness, a rather complicated and boring buisness, when I hear blaster shot. Being the curious chap that I am, I take a look and what do I find? Dead bodies! Now, seeing as how that isn't any of my buisness, I was going to contact the police department when I realised I left my privae comms array at home! After that, I see the bombs and think to myself "This ain't good! That many bombs of that much power will blow a good portion of the level sky high!", and so I try and disarm it!"
He was but a few meters away now, looking her straight in the eye. She was pretty, had nice looking eyes and seemed kind enough. "Pity she has to die... Would have fecthed a nice price on the slave market. I hear the Hutts like Twi'leks, those dirty slugs." thought Athos, yet again laughing to himself.
He then suddenly changed from a "pleasent" and laughing man to a deadly warrior, immediatly changing stance and using the Force to push the Twi'lek back, and then taking out his Lightsaber and dashing towards her. He was going to go for the kill if the oppurtunity ever presented itself, but he hesitated a minute. She has alot of useful infomation... Maybe after a bit of "pursuaison" she will spill out a large amount of secrets? It would make my job alot easier."
He looked back at her, and used the Force to grab her from the floor, and with a wave from his hand she flew at high speeds towards the nearby wall, hopefully the impact would knock her out and not kill her. Or maybe she would somehow escape? That would be amusing.

Shakka, not surprisingly, was not amused by the man's predictions of death for her. She'd dealt with scum before, and death threats before. Hell, she'd put her life on the line for the good of the outfit a half dozen times easily, which was something to her credit given her young age, just 21 short years old. Or rather, long years. Those light brown eyes had seen a lot, and her slender hands done done a lot, from running spice and blasters to piloting a swoop bike down the dusty hills of Ryloth, in perpetual twilight.
She wasn't deterred by the man. She was, however, concerned when he started to move toward her and spin a convincing lie. Or what would have been a convincing lie if he hadn't already broadcast his intention, or if he wasn't dealing with the squad's resident lie detector.
He continued to move forward and she commanded him to stop, which he didn't. She leveled her blaster pistol with his head and aimed right between her eyes. Her finger found the trigger and-
She was being pushed back by some external force, which sent the blaster bolt whizzing past the man's head instead of into his smug face. Shakka immediately went into mag-dump mode, firing at him as fast as her finger could move, but she didn't get off more than a trio of shots before she was thrown again, this time to the side. She hit the wall, but didn't drop her blaster. A bruised side later on was better than a trip to the morgue.
From her new vantage point on the ground she unleashed a withering rate of fire against him. Some shots were bound to go wild, but by all rights at least a couple would hit him. Preferably in his smug face.
If the Orange Twi'lek officer had the time to think, she might have been annoyed by the man's efforts, or outraged at what he'd done to flaunt the laws, but she honestly didn't have time for that. This was a gunfight, and in a gunfight you reacted only. You didn't inject emotion. Being scared was a luxury you didn't have, being angry was another luxury you couldn't afford, and you definitely didn't have time to talk it out. She was going to kill this man so he couldn't kill her. That would simply be it.
(OOC: Since your guy only has a 3 in telekinesis, the results of his telekinesis may be a little less dramatic than you'd hoped.)

(OOC: Gotya)
Seeing the Twi'lek on the floor, Athos assumed he had won and let his guard down. But he underestimated the Officer, and was punished for his slight ignorance with a spray of blaster fire, most missing, but two bolts looked as if they would hit Athos, potencially killing him.
He managed to deflect the first bolt with his lightsaber, mostly thanks to luck or fate or whatever you call it, the second bolt missed him only slightly, tearing a hole in the cape he was wearing.
Athos was now annoyed, and he rushed towards the Twi'lek, shooting of a bolt of lighting directly at her, followed by three bolts from his blaster, which he had just drawn with his left hand. Using those ranged attacks as a distraction, Athos closed in on the Twi'lek, bringing his lightsaber down on her arm.

Shakka pulled herself up to her feet as she was firing, sadly noticing most of her shots were going astray, and then, annoyingly, it failed to fire. Suddenly there was an explanation, the blaster had failed her. With him running straight towards her with- A lightsaber?
Now that was truly bizarre. What was some criminal doing with a lightsaber? Well, there was a first time for everything, and she didn't plan on dying today. It was just like if a perp came at her with a knife. Just avoid the blade and everything would be okay. Fall back on your training and let that do all the hard work.
The real trick was switching from her blaster to her baton quickly enough. She started by throwing the pistol as hard as she could at his head, then pulling her cross-guard stun baton out, holding it by the side handle with the length of it extending past her fist. This was going to be held in reserve with her main attack coming soon...
He brought the lightsaber down clumsily, and she his wrist with her left hand, clamping down tightly so as to cause as much as possible for him, with luck he'd drop it. And if he didn't...
She jabbed up towards his stomach with her knee, hoping to knock the wind out of him and wrest the Jedi weapon from his hands. As it happened, her knee was rather sharp and moved like lightning. All those hand-to-hand combat exercises in the Academy training were paying off, and not for the last time she imagined.
Yes, at the end of the day this whole mess was going to get talked about a lot at the Precinct, but the day wasn't over yet.
