(set just before 'deflective deflections' the theme song is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKsVhyiISY8 ) The Jedi Master had been some what of the disapereance of a dark jedi, it was not of high importance for the jedi to track down this particular menace due to a greater threat at hand, but he took it upon himself to try to keep tabs on this dark side of the force user, just incase. Gaius was always prepared, experience had taught him the hard way to always expect the unexpected. It wasn't often that Gaius, the Falleen, would find himself in smuggler territory, especially in CoCo town. It was rife with scum and villainy, but it was a means to an end, he had to gather information and the smuggler and spy network would prove useful. this coupled with Gaiu's very good judge of character, he roamed the streets almost scanning all the people he would pass by to determine whether or not they had what it takes to ultimately serve Gaius in his personal matters. Naturally, there were many who were weak minded and generally desperate and would say anything to garner attention or credits but Gaius was not naive n the slightest. He took his time scanning the local surroundings in an attempt to find a suitable canditate to aid him and he did not rush his efforts otherwise he might make a mistake, something he was not prone to do. Fortunately it hadn't taken long for Gaius to notice a human woman, he could tell that she was special, or atleast more honest than those he had previous looked over. The jedi master couldn't really stand humans who were arrogant or had high amount of pride about themselves, it was a Falleen trait to be humble and modest, usually anyway. He made his way towards the young lady, placing his hands behind his back and forming a soft and welcoming smile upon his face, as he approached her he spoke softly. " Excuse me Madam.. i require services regarding information on a certain individual and i believe you can assist me" Gaius had removed his lightsabers from view as in smuggler territory, Jedi were never really welcomed with open arms.

((hehe brought my own music to this club )) Ambient (link) There was a girl called 'foolish' and she almost deserved it. At least all people around her would believe it. Her aunt, her mother, even the damn bartender. Yes, she was stupid enough not take his number and no, she didn't want another such mistake. When you were eighteen everything in life seems easy and adulthood is fun, frivolity and freedom. For Golda Idriya it was all of that and even more to the point she became a mother at nineteen. With absolutely no idea who the father of the child was. Well a vague idea but that's that. There was one rumor, one very probable one to the point she was scared it was true. Though instead of doing anything, the woman sat in one of those shabby bars of CoCo Town, sipping a drink and wondering what job to take next to survive another month. She played with a cocktail umbrella from time to time making a snarky comment to any man brave enough to chat her up despite clear signs she was not interested. Sometimes it was not even a word but a hiss of an angry feline or ape...if you wanted to be specific. She sat in a casual pose, still parading in a classy businesses suit that let her get into one interesting place. Hair neatly gathered in two braids, shaped into a golden crown. A rare thing – nice make up was also there, highlighting her blue ice with silver eyeshadow and dark eyeliner. To say she was uncomfortable was an understatement. Golda felt horrible, like a doll in a shop everyone look at. There were times she enjoyed such attention but not anymore. One last drink...one last drink and I will go home... So she sat in the bar, watching people come and go. Getting drunk and looking to get laid. Somewhere deep down Golda would like to try it too but there was a child to be taken care of. Her son. Her eyelids grew heavy and that was the time to go home. The human gathered her purse, left few credits for a drink but didn't stood up. Someone was watching her....The woman lifted her pale, blue ice to meet the very odd, alien gaze. The man...she thought it was a man because it was no species she had heard of. Which wasn't that surprising as Golda often found herself facing odd, exotic creature. This one was tall, green and had amazingly symmetrical features. Maybe he was a hybrid of some kind, not unheard of. Her son was a living proof after all. The alien walked closer and smiled. It was a warm smile. He had small scale pattenrs on his skin but there was nothing outrageous inhuman about his looks. With a bit of tolerance Golda could even call him handsome. ”Yes..?” She started, staring at the odd male. His voice was calm, almost resonating, sending chills down her spine. A possible businesses? It was not unusual someone asked for her, she had a certain reputation on Crosucant. The woman blinked and folder her hands together on her lap. ”Do..I know you?” Golda asked, hesitation and caution clear in her voice.

Gaius looked upon the human woman with his soft eyes, he was content, as he relaxed, his scales and skin turned from a green colour to a lightish blue. This would make his piercing eyes stand out more as his gaze stayed very close to the human's eyes. He stood there, breeming and exuming confidence. He looked towards the barman before being interrupted by a drunk who inquired to the falleen "heeeeeyyy.. whatcha' say abou' a game of pazaak fo' credits..?" Gaius looked towards the drunk, he raised an eyebrow before waving his hand softly to the drunk saying "go home, sober up and re-assess your life.." to which the drunk replied in a monotone "i will go home, sober up and re-assess my life" before leaving.
Gaius sighed softly as he looked back towards the young attractive but some what troubled human woman again smiling softly "no, you do not know me, ma'am... but i am sure you will soon enough.." he said in slightly firtatious tone. It wasn't totally unknown that a jedi would flirt slightly, aslong as it didn't lead to anything more eyebrow raising. "I am Gaius Fal'kirk, Jedi Master... i came here to look for information and i believe, you, hold the key" Gaius looked back towards the barman and nodded slightly towards him "juice please, barkeep" he slid a credit chit onto the bar whilst he waited patiently for his drink.

Before the alien male could respond another human joined them. Obviously drunk, if not to say wasted like a pig in the summer. There were times Golda hadn't been in a better shape herself. She was about to tell him to scram when the stranger did the most amazing thing. He ...convinced the inebriated human to reevaluate his way of life to which the confused man agreed and strolled off...probably to think. ”What the....” The woman muttered, red light of warning flaring in her mind like a nova. Her eyes quickly returned to the alien whose skin was now of a different shade which only added to the confusion. Maybe it was just light...She blinked few times to adjust.
She wasn't fond of the tone the man had. Very dallying and fuzzy. Normally Golda would just leave, she did immediately after any male would behave like that, unless important client. This one was neither important nor a client and yet she remained in her seat. Tense like a string but nevertheless in place.
The human was ready to say something cheeky but the another shock came when the strange alien casually mentioned who..or what he really was. Golda froze, her eyes wide open. A..what...Jedi Master? Of course she knew Jedi, everyone knew them but it was not the reason that rendered her speechless. It was fear. ”If it is about my son, he won't be joining your order.” Golda said quickly,, barely registering that he just wanted an information. It was one of these days she had feared, not even feared. Dreaded. All the children had obligatory tests to force sensitiveness as they called it and Eli was one of these rare cases where his blood was tested positive. At least enough to train among Jedi. Not something Golda would agree on in a lifetime. Only few of the kids would actually be taken to learn but she couldn't stand the thought some Jedi would nag her to give up her child. As unwanted as it was.
Golda breathed in to calm down as she began to tremble. ”Now when this is out of the way, what information do you want?” She couldn't really tell why suddenly her demeanor turned to few degrees colder. The man seemed polite and nice and most likely wouldn't take Eli without her permission. Maybe he really needed only some pointers, but there was something about this whole idea of disciplined, detached people whose only love was their saber.

Gaius had noted the quick temperament in the lady, there was something about her. She was troubled and emotionally unstable, this was not unusual for humans, especially in Gaius's eyes. Like many Fallen, Gaius would not show public displays of affection of any kind, he was quite stoic in his ways, except for the usual soft smiles he would often portray. Combined with being a Falleen and a jedi, it was rather difficult for Gaius to portray a sense of empathy, especially towards humans as they were a delicate bunch. but he was still young relatively and had much to learn about other species still despite being a Master.
"Your son.." he paused for a moment as he usually would, he took a sip from his juice before continuing "i am not here for your son, if you wish not for him to be in the Jedi Order, then we would respect your wishes and would not hassle you further.." Gaius nodded slowly before taking another sip from his drink "No, it is not about your son.. but rather.. a man.." The Jedi Master thumbled through a small bag attached to his utility belt "a Zabrak male.. goes by the name of 'Rasuk Vakno'" Finally finding a picture of the man, he passed it over to the lady "apparently he has passed through this area quite a lot over the years.. he is 'wanted' by the jedi order, he uses the force as a device for manipulation and as reports indicate, uses this to his advantage .. he is wanted for questioning for his crimes, as it were..." he explained stopping to take a small inhale of air. He didn't need to on a regular basis, Falleen cold hold their breath for quite an extended amount of time, but he often found the act of not inhaling at lest every 30 seconds or so sometimes freaked people out. Still, he kept his reservations to himself, humans had quite the same effect on many species, they breed at an incredible rate and are very squishy and weak.

She exhaled slowly when the Jedi dispersed her fears. They had no power over her son, though no one would promise her another of the Order wouldn't show up to ask her about her son. He was still only three after all. The alien's tone didn't change, he was still kind and calm which made her somewhat more relaxed. Her cheeks blossomed with a crimson glow when Golda realized how immaturely she jumped the gun so to speak. So it was all just business. She stayed quiet when the Master was going through some things in his pouch. It was not remarkable that someone was looking for a smuggler, criminal, missing lover...What was unusual though was the fact a Jedi would ask her for it...
The words 'Zabrak male' made her tense all suddenly, though name didn't tell her much. Not that she knew the name of the one from few years back...With a bit of hesitation, the woman took the offered image, holding her breath like a scared child. The male in the picture was handsome, middle aged Zabrak but the worst part was....she couldn't remember. Eyes looked similar and skin color could match but the features were just a blurred memory formed in a haze of strong drinks and loud music. There were a rumors of a Zabrak, gifted force user but not from Jedi order who was now doing business in the Factory District. There were not many Iridonians on the Crosucant as they mostly lived in the Mid and Outer Rim what was one of the reasons Golda took interest in that particular man. Adding to that the rumors about Rasuk was Force sensitive, just as her son...She could have investigated before but was too scared and now the information he was wanted by the Jedi. Would that mean..?
Her hand began to tremble so the picture fell onto the table, knocking over her empty glass. ”Oh...I didn't mean to...” She breathed and tried to pull herself together. Golda could just tell him a lie and state this male is absolutely unknown to her or...Finally get some closure. ”I may know where to find him...But there will be additional favor added to my regular fee.” The woman leaned back in her chair casually trying not to betray her anxiety and nervousness, pretending it is all just business to her.

Gaius took another sip from his juice as he watched Golda with his rather cold, calculating demeanor. Infact he wasn't being cold at all, not by his standards, it was some what a natural pose for his people. But he had noticed the shift in emotional state, he didn't need the force to see and sense such things. it was apparent that this Zabrak had quite a profound effect on her at some point and she knew him, or atleast used to know him. The force had served him well in guiding him to this young attractive yet trouble human. With her aid, Gaius would track down this particular menace, but he would have to keep a keen eye on Golda too, she was quite unstable and her actions may prove to be somewhat unpredicatable, Gaius would have to compensate for this somehow.
"I may know where to find him...But there will be additional favor added to my regular fee." - Golda stated, it wasn't rare that a smuggler would want more, mouths to feed and a life to live. The Jedi Master knew that every person had a path to walk and some are less fortunate than others, fortunately as this was an investigation initiated by the Jedi Order, credit wise, Gaius was sound as the Order itself would ultimately compensate golda for her help. "Credits is not an issue, i assure you..with in reason, of course" he nodded slowly as he gave a soft smile and continued "now, please do elaborate on this additional favour, i am most intrigued, ma'am..."

It was an unusual creature. With all this cold and detached demeanor he managed to remain polite and rather welcoming. Maybe it was how he formed the sentences. As if she was some high born lady, not a simple smuggler from poor neighborhood. He didn't seem to notice her distress and if he did, he didn't comment on that. It eased her tension a bit, though with her whole frame the woman showed she preferred him to stay away. At least he didn't try to negotiate her fee for now but that wasn't really a consolation. The knowledge if such bastard had fathered her child would be...
”I would like to accompany you, to find this Zabrak.” Golda tried to keep her voice steady and breathing calm, but from time to time a slight tremble in the syllables could be heard. Like a scared girl that wanted to be brave. ”I may have some business...with him.” Not being able to bear the raising apprehension, she ordered herself something stronger. The Jedi could drink juice if they wanted. Weird beings in a weird Order. Golda decided she would never give up her son to join them even if it meant to regain long lost freedom.
The drink appeared fast and as fast Golda had downed it. Shaking her head at burning sensation in her mouth, she placed the glass down, surprisingly gently. ”Maybe some unfinished business, maybe not.” The strong beverage relaxed her almost instantly but still she had no will to talk about details to some Jedi to whom it was most likely a very abstract problem. Golda could already imagine how it would sound: 'I just have to make sure it is really my son's father...' Even such stoic character might burst into laughter. It was actually so pathetic, it was funny.

Gaius kept his compusre and his demeanor, no matter the situation. dealing with smugglers was always a careful event, never to give to much away at any given time, just incase. They were never the truely reliable sorts at the best of times unless there was positive histoery, which in this case, was not so. Still, they had a common goal, so the enemy of thine enemy, is a friend, surely? Gaius took another sip from his drink, jedi didn't really drink alcoholic drinks as adding toxicating elements into one's system would no doubt have some sort of effect and Gaius believe the body had to be pure for the mind to be pure too.
"I would like to accompany you, to find this Zabrak." - she asked quite sternly, the Jedi Master was dubious about this, she was rather emotionally unstable and liable to compromise everything. But it seemed that she was wrong greatly, so he would have to keep close tabs on Golda when they did eventualy track down this Zabrak. "Naturally.." he simply replied with a slight nod "i require your comm frequency as i have some jedi business to attend too before we set off to track down this nuisance.. i'll contact you when i am ready to persue our target.." he took the last sip from his juice and softly slid the glass onto the bar as he he took he sighed slightly.

He agreed...Which was more than enough for her thought didn't push away her fears. What if it was really him? What if he coerced her into wanting something these few years back ? It was a closure, however. Golda often imagined what would happen if she met again this mysterious Zabrak. Tell him he had a son? Yell at him? Kill or try to? Levels of midichlorians in Eli's blood indicated his father was Force sensitive but wouldn't tell if trained or not. ”This Zabrak...Is he a Jedi? Or was?” She asked in a shaking voice. It was hard to say what she had expected from the answer. It didn't matter in the long run, it was not her who would engage in the possobile fight.
Quickly, she gave him his comm frequency, the one she only used to do really sensitive business. It was moderately well encrypted. ”Tomorrow evening would be ideal.” Tomorrow morning was one of those days she would spend with her son though there was not much room for negotiations. If the Jedi decided to do it as soon as possible, maybe even for the best...
The woman stood up and left few credits on the table. ”You can call me Golda.” She was about to use the word 'master' but in truth the smuggler had no love for the order and their ways. ”Gaius.” She nodded and prepared to leave, still trembling from the sudden chance to resolve few things in her life.
