-:Rashgarroth, the Seeker of Darkness:- Character Name: Rashgarroth
Known Alias/Titles: Seeker of Darkness, The Seeker, Puppet Master, Father of Decadence, The Whispering Shadow, The Unholy Ghost, Herald of Mephistroth (Formally the Herald of Tichondrius, and for a short time; The Herald of Anetheron), Lord Dread
Character Race: Nathrezim
Character Class: 40th level Warlock / 22nd level Necromancer [62]
Character Alignment: Lawful Evil/Chaotic Evil
+Height- 22'3 Feet +Weight- (optional) +Body type- Muscular Character History: READ SECOND POST FOR MORE Character Personality: Rashgarroth is a controlling, malicious, deceitful s.o.b. He uses his advanced control over telepathic powers to control weaker minded mortals into doing his bidding, and then once finished with said mortal, he ends their existence. He also studies his opponents before making the first move, finding faults in their combat abilities, and exploits it. Rashgarroth does not tolerate failure very often, only giving his most trusted and powerful minions another chance to redeem themselves. The others meet a slow and agonizing death. Like most Nathrezim, Rashgarroth would rather attack from a distance, hitting his opponent with powerful Shadow spells to weaken and totally obliterate them, only using his Claws in combat if he absolutely needs to use it.
Conserning Mortals, Rashgarroth has a small regard on them, knowing that they are a small thorn in his side that will soon be removed permanently. He just needs to cause more chaos and destruction, and they're civilizations will crumble in on themselves with time, as is the history of things. He has a deep distates for various -demon- races as well, calling the Mo'arg and Gan'arg nothing but pitiful peons who serve the Greater Demon's will till they are no longer needed, and can be easily cast aside without regret. The Succubi, Imps, and Shivarra however, have become his personal favorite Demons to command and use. The Imps, being small and mischievous, are some of Rashgarroth's best infiltrators and spies, one of which is even a Lieutenant of his forces. The Succubi are sadistic and cruel, pefectly matching Rashgarroth's own personality greatly, and the Shivarra are fanatically loyal to the Legion, and work best with Rashgarroth. Rashgarroth tolerates many members of his own race, and is loyal to nearly every Eredar, especially Kil'Jaeden the Deceiver, who Rashgarroth works tirelessly to please.
Rashgarroth has a way of dealing with enemies and other types of forces who would dare try to destroy him. He'd rather have his servitors or pawns deal with any of the rabble, at first the lesser ones to gauge their strength, and then if the need arises he'd send his more powerful minions, only reserving his Lieutenants for rather powerful rabble. Rashgarroth himself will only fight a mortal if, one: they are truly troublesome, and cannot afford to live any longer and mush perish, and two: if they truly prove a worthy challenge to the Seeker, and then he will show his true might by disposing of a powerful enemy, which usually happens to be a Champion of the Light. Of course if a mortal discovers Rashgarroth's existance or to an ever worse extent, his plots and motives, then Rashgarroth will go so far out of his way to personally slay the mortal, by using various means such as mortal guises to get in close and slay them.Extra: (Character Description) Rashgarroth stands at a staggering 22'3, tall even for the average Nathrezim. He dons Demonic Fel Steel Armor forged for him by the Tothrezim much like his brother had before him, although this one was unique to Rashgarroth. It consisted of a full breastplate which was obsidion black in coloration, and his pauldrons were large and seemingly connected with his breatplate as they came down to be parallel with his breast. Armor also covered his arms and legs, and on the edges of them were jagged spikes all along the sides, on his thigh guards, shin guards, bracers, etc etc etc. His armor is covered in various wards used to increase resistance against all types of magic and from some melee attacks to a certain degree. His wings are massive and batlike and they flex and stretch behind him menacingly, he also wraps them around his form to create a sort of cloak when walking, and unfurls them when in a battle. His horns are massive and gnarled, extending a good three feet above his head.
His eyes are no longer there, in there place are two metal balls which are coated in fel-flames. A magical enchantment was placed upon these, allowing for Rashgarroth to see normally and magical energies, much like a Demon Hunter’s. Upon the sickly dark green surface of his skin are various dark runes of power, carved deeply into his skin, coming off as a bright fel green. On his chest is various eredun Runes of Fel, sharply carved to connect together to increase their overall power. The Runes cross down both of his arms and when combined with the rest of his runes can argument his Shadow and Fel magick greatly, allowing him to be a better Warlock than he seems to be. Across his skin are intricate and complicated symbols that all interconnect together, which when Rashgarroth is casting a spell or is enraged will blaze a bright green, blanketing the area around him with a feeling of absolute dread and despair. His armor has become decorated with the bones of other Demons, as he uses the bones of his fellow comrades from his conquests in his armor design, his left pauldron has been adorned with the skull of a Doomguard Lord, while his right has the ribcage of a Felguard. His breastplate has Imp and Succubi bones lining the trimming, with the skull of a Fiend stuck in the center. The same would go for his bracers and leg-guards, and his kneeguards have been replaced with two more Fiend skulls. He also wears a large amulet, adorned with skulls and holds a large onyx gem in the center. It has been said it holds the souls of all Rashgarroth has slain, and destroying the amulet would release their souls from torment.
He has fashioned a new weapon for himself as well, a massive bastard sword dubbed 'Kalmageddon'. The title for the weapon is a fusion of two different words, yet similar in meaning. The first word is 'Kalma', which means Death in an ancient dialect, and the other word is 'Armageddon' which means the End of a World, or doomsday. The blade was forged shortly prior to the invasion of Darkovia, forged by the Tothrezim, specifically made for the Seeker of Darkness. The hilt is large, large enough for Rashgarroth to wield it easily whilst the blade is larger. The blade is about three times as long as the hilt, and has jagged edges all along the sides of the blade, meant for ripping and rending flesh rather than a clean cut, as to inflict more pain to the enemy. Embuned with Eredun runes and Fel and Shadow energy, the blade easily cuts through opponent's armor and weapons like they were kodo butter. The blade is also enchanted to draw blood from wounds, and once a victim is cut by the jagged blade (Doesn't even have to be a grievous wound, as long as it draws blood) they will bleed profusely from the wound. This could even lead to death if the wound isn't treated in time.-:Kalmageddon, Bastard Sword of Wounding:- Along with his sword, Kalmageddon, Rashgarroth also wields his Battlestaff, Acerbus. Acerbus is actually quite short compared to Rashgarroth's sword or even his size for that matter, it looks like it should be wielder for a smaller individual, but actually this helps Rashgarroth dual wield both his sword and his Battlestaff when in battle. Acerbus has a smooth handle that is thin, yet incredible hard and sturdy, ending in a large goat hoof that seems to be part of the staff. The head of the staff is massive, curving back and then forward to create a crescent like shape that is adorned with various, wicked looking spikes. The main feature of the head of the staff is how the curved metal ends, which it ends like a goat's head, yet made out of metal, with horns that curve back and then forward. Beneath the 'chin' of the Goat head is a swirling orb of red, hellish energy. With his Bastard sword in his right hand, and his Staff in his left, Rashgarroth is truly a horrifically powerful individual to behold.(Powers and Abilities) Basically, Rashgarroth is what some would call a Grand Warlock, a being who can command the shadows, summon forth demonic entities not of this world, and cast horrific skin melting spells that no mortal has lived to tell the tale about. If you were to put it in categories, Affliction and Demonology spells are what Rashgarroth excells best at, as he can summon forth an Infernal with relative ease, and can use various spells to melt skin, turn bones to liqued, and turn opponent's spells back onto them, causing much chaos and death. In the terms of Telepathy, Rashgarroth can easily manipulate mortals with little loss of power. He has shown this throughout his lifetime serving the Legion, corrupting various alien kingdoms from the inside and causing them to fight amongst eachother. He can even force numerous normal minded mortals to commit suicide if he wanted to, as it makes things easier for him in the terms of Infiltration, and like most Nathrezim he can turn invisible for a short period of time.
Rashgarroth can crush an opponent's will just by looking into his or her eyes. Although just glancing at his eyes will not have any effect, Rashgarroth must gaze deeply into your eyes, and then your will be suddenly be assaulted by the powerful mental powers of the Nathrezim. Rashgarroth can concentrate on an enemy, and with some chanting Rashgarroth can actually imbune the soul of a Doomguard who has not taken physical form, and meld it into the target’s body. Soon the Doomguard’s will and the target host’s will battle over control of the body, causing the target’s body to go limp and numb as the fight within rages. If the Doomguard’s soul wins, the target’s body will morph and transform into a Doomguard itself, and while the mortal’s mind and soul will remain in with the Doomguard’s, they can do nothing but watch in horror as the Doomguard rages destruction down upon it’s enemies. One of Rashgarroth’s more maiming than killing spell is the ability to summon forth a fel-steel needle, and with strands of orange energy he can weave stitches throughout the target’s body. Mostly this is an interrogation method but it’s also Rashgarroth’s way of punishing incompetent servants, such as you wouldn’t find it uncommon to see many mortals and demons alike with orange demonic stitches across their body.
The Epic Warlock can also Siphon life from his victims, by saying a quick Eredun phrase and casting about foul magicks, blood would rupture from the victim’s eyes, nose, and mouth and begin to travel in streams towards the caster, who in turn would devour the stream of life energy and gain power from it. Rashgarroth has the ability to possess any sentient Mortal once every day. The way he does this is by slaying the intended victim, once the victim is slain does Rashgarroth posses him/her, his body turning into a purple misty cloud that invades and takes over the corpse. His power sustains the body so it does not decompose; in fact, it appears in all respects as if alive. Using this form can Rashgarroth accomplish many of his goals, utilizing his magical powers, his cunning, and his over-all mental prowess. When Rashgarroth possesses a body, his Sword and Staff disappear with him, reappearing when Rashgarroth sheds his disguise and Rashgarroth only shed's his disguise when he's been discovered, so he can silence the people who found him out, forever.Rashgarroth's Spellbook Blazing Column: Rashgarroth can cast down a pillar of roaring fire. The column burns for time before slowly fading away. Counterspell, Greater: Rashgarroth can easily counter most magical spells, and can even follow up with a counterattack. The streams will spin and twist into a single, large rope-like stream as they bridge the gap between the victim and Rashgarroth. Rashgarroth will open his mouth and draws in the stream, effectively draining the life of the victim slowly... and painfully. Siphon Mana: Rashgarroth can concentrate on an individual, and once casted the victim's mouth and eyes open wide as streams of incandescant magical energy pour from their body. Rashgarroth catches these cerulean strands and absorbs their magic into his body. Stitch: Rashgarroth can summon a fel-steel needle and threads of pale orange energy that weave through the victim's mouth and eyelids, rendering them blind and mute. Vampiric Aura: Rashgarroth is empowered to drain life from his opponents gradually with each hit of his weapon. Vampiric Swarm: Rashgarroth can create a swarm of angry, flying vermin that bite and tear at anything in their path. As they chew and devour the flesh of Rashgarroth's enemies, they convert it into a substance that restores Rashgarroth's strength as they return to him. Corruption:Rashgarroth summons shadows that collect around the target, freezing it with the power of darkness and sapping away the essence of the victim's life. Crushing Despair: Rashgarroth can send an invisible cone of despair causes great sadness in any victim unfortunate to be infront of him, the side effects can even lead to the victim commiting suicide if their will is weak enough. Cripple & Cripple, Mass: Rashgarroth can cause nearly all the muscles in your body to cramp and tighten, causing immense agony as the victim would have trouble moving at all thanks to the muscles becoming unresponsive, and each movement sends waves of agony throughout their body. Curse of Recklessness: Rashgarroth can curse his target with a terrible rage, making them attack wildly and incapable of precise actions. Curse of Dehydration: Rashgarroth can cause the natural water in a victim's body to evaporate, causing rapid dehydration and can lead to death quickly if not countered. Raise Dead: Rashgarroth can raise nearly any creature into Undeath and bend them to his will. Dominate: Rashgarroth can crush an opponent's will just by looking into their eyes. The victim must be gazing into Rashgarroth's eyes, and a simple glance will not affect the victim. Demonic Doom: Rashgarroth can weaken the resolve of an opponent, leaving them susceptible to invasion by demonic forces. Rashgarroth can call forth the spirit of a Doomguard not taken physical form, who attempts to dominate the subject and possess their body, and if successful the body morphs and arises as a Doomguard. Summon Infernal: Rashgarroth can summon a demonic Infernal, which rockets down from the sky, smashing into his foes before rising from the crater it created to fight for him. Dismiss Infernal: Rashgarroth can dismiss an Infernal from his service. Rain of Chaos: Rashgarroth can summon multiple Infernals, who crash down from the sky in multiple areas, and rise to fight for him.(Roleplace Segment) Rashgarroth sighed and slouched back in his obsidian throne. So far things had been going rather well... too well. Not many hitches or setbacks, of course Rashgarroth loved that his plans were going flawlessly, but where was the fun in everything going well? There was none that's what. Around him dozens of mortals and lesser demons scrambled around the large chamber, setting up tables and hooking various demonic art on the walls. They were currently underneath the stank and cold ground of Tol Barad, which had become a secret staging ground for Rashgarroth and his lackies. Rashgarroth chose this island because of it's proximity to major striking points, Gilneas, the Undercity, and even Stormwind were within a short distance from the Island Prison. That and the underground cellblocks made a perfect enviroment to house dozens upon dozens of mortal slaves and demons, making it easier to amass a force for various missions commanded by his lord, Kil'jaeden. But as stated before, things were going as planned and without little event, which bored Rashgarroth to the brink of insanity.
Unlike his brothers, Rashgarroth loved the vicious ways of combat, he preferred to fight his toughest opponents head to head, one on one, and he would let his minions deal with the lesser and unimportant trash. Sighing again, he slowly rose to his cloven hooved feet, and began to stride down the center of the large chamber, and as he shrunk in size so he could fit his bulk through the doorway, he stepped out into the cold misty hallway. As he walked, he kept note of all the slaves and peons working tirelessly to set up the Shadow Syndicate's base of operations, many demons, like the Fel Guard and the Doomguard he had under his control bowed in fear and respect for this powerful arcanist of the shadows. Awhile more down the hallway and he reached a larger antechamber, where a larger, tattoo'd Fel Guard was barking orders to other demons and mortals alike. Rashgarroth slowly strode out into the dim light of the antechamber, and announced in a cold and sadistic voice, "Ahh Baal, my most trusted servant... How goes the construction?”The one dubbed 'Baal' would slowly turn and kneel before his master, "Efficiently milord, the mortals work tireless in your glory to build you this mighty fortress, we shall be finished within three days time, as you predicted." Rashgarroth would smile maliciously and roughly pat Baal on his bald head like a Fel Hound, and after a few moments Baal rose to stand next to his Master. "Very good my Prince of Pain, Soon we shall wash down upon the mortals like a tidal wave of darkness... we will rip their bodies to shreds and devour their souls without regret... Soon they will remember what happens when you goodness gracious with the Legion..." Baal would grin madly as the scene faded with the sounds of hammering and shuffling faded into the night.

Character History: Long before recorded history, Rashgarroth plotted with his brother, Varthisimas on various ways to corrupt the races of other worlds and turn them to darkness. While Varthisimas went to Xoth, Rashgarroth traveled with his brethren to another planet called Cignus Prime, where the humanoid inhabitants have built grand metropolises in monuments to false dieties, and Rashgarroth, having have no religion or deity to worship, dubbed these creatures as weak willed and gullible, and once arrived he proclaimed himself a God, showing off his fantastic powers of darkness to the inhabitants and silencing all whom said he was something different. For years and years Rashgarroth ruled over the world of Cignus Prime, turning the inhabitants into parodies of demons whom served him willingly and without question. The corruption Rashgarroth was spreading even effected the landscape, turning it's lush grasslands into desolate wastelands where Felhounds roamed and feasted upon all of the indigenous wildlife, what little there was of it left. Of course the centuries of corruption and ruin brought upon by Rashgarroth would all soon change when -he- came... Sargeras... the Defender of the Pantheon.
Seeing the inhabitants as enemies of life, Sargeras the Defender spared no hesitation or remorse in slaughtering the entire population across Cignus Prime, and after a heated battle with the true Demons, he eradicated Rashgarroth's brethren and sent the survivors spiraling into the prison of the Pantheon, to be trapped for all eternity. Afterwards Sargeras obliterated Cignus Prime under the command of the Pantheon, as it had became too far lost in corruption to be redeemed. Deep within the Prison of the Pantheon Rashgarroth reunited with his only true remaining brethren, Varthisimas. Soon after however, Rashgarroth and the rest of the demons were freed from the Prison of the Pantheon by the most unlikely of saviors, Sargeras... no longer the Defender, but now the Destroyer. Sargeras had concluded that Chaos was the true way of the Universe, and had left the Pantheon and not long after, freed every demon he had imprisoned. Fleeing back into the Galaxy, Rashgarroth returned to his homeplanet to lament his losses and in terms, 'lick his wounds'. However years and years later the one known as Kil'jaeden, the Deceiver would come and enslave the Nathrezim and bring them into the Burning Legion, a uncountable army of Demons of every kind imaginable led by Sargeras the Destroyer.
He joined them in their burning crusade against the universe and it’s residents, watching world after world crumble before the might of Sargeras and his Commanders, Archimonde and Kil’jaeden. Rashgarroth of course found his talents elsewhere, he was commanded to be some of the first scouts to a new world that would soon of course be invaded, and spread fear and chaos amongst it’s populace so that when the Legion arrived the planet’s life would be warring against eachother, thus made easier for the Legion to either convert them or utterly annihilate them. He went about his tasks with zealous efficiency, using his master of telepathic powers to control mortals and start civil wars between themselves, watching as nations destroyed themselves from the inside as the Legion arrived. One of these worlds was Gnorn, a planet of massive forests divided by expanses of deserts and plains, home to two warring races, the more passive Azmos, and the barbaric and destructive Abagons. Both have been at war since before their own recorded history, and the Legion saw much promise in using the Abagons as pawns.
So Archimonde dispatched Rashgarroth to the planet along with other Nathrezim, and quickly they possed many Political figures on both sides, Rashgarroth himself possessing the Abagon High King, Vynesh. With the Dreadlords in place, they played a intense game of War for nearly three years, till finally the civilizations began to deteriorate from the constant war and bloodshed, and that's when the Legion struck. Rashgarroth and the other Nathrezim shed their disguise, and began to open a massive demon portal in the Abagon's Citadel while the Abagon were slowly transformed into malefic creatures of shadow to defend their demonic masters. A few days passed and finally the portal was opened, and Archimonde himself stepped through with his Elite Doomguard to start the full invasion, and quickly destroyed the attacking Azmos. With the Portal opened with no hinderance to it's state, Archimonde and his Commanders brought forth the flame to Gnorn, destroying the land around them as they slaughtered and demolished the Azmos. Quickly and swiftly all life was eradicated on Gnorn, and the planet itself was left an inhospitable and barren rock.
Rashgarroth returned to the Legion world of Xoroth, home of the Dreadsteads and a major Bastion for the Dreadlords. On the Nathrezim hiarchy, Rashgarroth was a Lord, ruling over many of the lesser Nathrezim. Of course he was also a personal warrior and servant of Tichondrius the Darkener, and did many missions and errands on his behalf, aiding with the destruction of many worlds in the name of Sargeras and Tichondrius. Of course like all politics, Rashgarroth had his own rival, a Nathrezim Magi named Thok'kaleesh, whom in Rashgarroth's opinion was pompous and egotistical. Thok'kaleesh got his position by way of sniviling to Tichondrius and the other Lords, while Rashgarroth had earned it through battle and trickery, a more Dreadlord styled way. While the code forbid Nathrezim slaying another, Rashgarroth had his own plans for Thok'kaleesh, and easily manipulated a messenger to relay to the Nathrezim Lord that he would be sent to the planet Korosve for himself to begin the Corruption Process. Unaware that the Legion had already conquered that planet years earlier, Thok'kaleesh went eagerly, yet when he arrived he found no opposing forces or weak-minded mortals to conquer, only a feral and vicious Two headed Fel Hound.
Thok'kaleesh would've probably fled back through the portal, but Rashgarroth was ahead of that plan, and had his minions the portal, sealing Thok'kaleesh on that planet to await his doom. Rashgarroth continued to do the Legion's duty across thousands of other worlds, slowly demoralizing the populace until the time was right for Archimonde to be summoned and the world consumed by the flame. That strategy went off without a hitch for many thousands of years, until Sargeras’ attention was suddenly projected towards a backwater planet called Azeroth. Apparently the Elves who ruled over the land had been abusing Arcane magic, which to Sargeras appeared like a beacon in the night, and suddenly the Legion was sent to Azeroth when the Elves were tainted and began serving Sargeras, and willingly opened a portal which the Legion began to invade through. Although the Elves around the Citadel were sparred, the others weren’t so lucky as the demonic horde cut a swath of chaos and death across the land.
Rashgarroth joined in with his Nathrezim brothers in the War of the Ancients, sowing terror and deceit through all of the mortals, and acting as Field Commanders for various Regiments. On the land of Kalimdor, Rashgarroth and his lieutenant, Baal the Prince of Pain, we're sent out with a batallion of Demonic Troops to scour the land on a mass hunting party, exterminating any Mortal they came across, and letting the Hounds feast upon the corpses later. Of course all this was well and good, the pitiful mortals barely putting up a fight as the Legion's beasts descended upon them with ravenous fury, that was until Rashgarroth met a true challange. This challange came in the form of a Elven Archmage named Aennis, whom rebeled against his Queen when he discovered she had been consorting with the Legion, and fled along with a band of other Magi who felt the same. Rashgarroth watched as his minions were slaughtered, until all that was left was Baal and a handful of other Fel Guards, Succubi and Imps. Rashgarroth summoned his Spellblade and waited for the Magi to make the first move... which of course they did, and attacked the towering Demon with a barrage of Arcane Spells.-:Rashgarroth summoning an Infernal during the War of the Ancients:- Rashgarroth simply chuckled and suddenly flew into the air, avoiding the linear spells the Magi threw at him. From his position in the air, he literally rained down hell, summoning balls of fire and throwing them down towards the Mages. Some were quick enough to get out of the way of the flames, but others were not so lucky, and perished horribly. The Magi recovered and regrouped, now focusing on the aborn Nathrezim, which infact would be a grave mistake. Using the distraction, Baal and the other lesser demons struck quickly, and viciously, killing most of the Magi before they knew what hit them. Aennis ordered a retreat, knowing they could not contend with the Nathrezim, lest they all perish. Rashgarroth flew overhead, and summoned forth a wall of Fel Flames, none would escape this slaughter. Rashgarroth then descended down towards the remaining Magi, and crushed one underhoof as he landed, killing another with his sword as he brought it through the man's torso. At last the only remaining mortal was Aennis, who in the end put up a brave and valiant fight, but alas he was destroyed by Rashgarroth.
The Mortal Elves not aligned to the Legion managed to somehow rally and fend off the majority of the demons, and destroy a massive fount of arcane magic of which the spellcasters holding the portal open drew their power from, and when the Well of Eternity imploded on itself, every demon was suddenly sucked back into the Nether, including a enraged Rashgarroth. Sargeras attempted to keep the portal open as he tried to step through in the last seconds of the battle, but the strength of a closing portal was too great even for the mighty Titan, and the portal closed on Sargeras, and he ceased to be. Azeroth became the first world that had resisted the Legion’s invasion, and Archimonde and Kil’jaeden began to plot on how to take revenge on Azeroth for their first defeat.
Sometime after the Legion's defeat on Azeroth, Rashgarroth was assigned to assimilate the planet, Isstvan III along with Nerothos, whom would later in the far future become one of Rashgarroth's most vicious and brutal lieutenants. Together, the lethal duo were summoned onto the planet by Cultists of the indigenous Interex species, a insectoid species which lived in the planet's jungles and plains. Rashgarroth possessed one of the Interex and quickly rose to a position of power within the Interex Hive, biding his time as his Traitor Interex took their position around the Hives of the planet. Finally, the time was nigh and the trap was sprung, Rashgarroth giving the signal to Nerothos as all of the traitor Interex were possessed by Demons and transformed into horrendous parodies of a pure Interex, and began to slaughter scores of their own kind as they started to take over the Hives, level by level. Rashgarroth opened a dimensional rift in the central Hive which allowed for a score of Demons to pour onto Isstvan III, including the mighty Demon Commander, Archimonde and a score of other powerful demons, such as Azmodan and Adramelech. The battle commensed and lasted for three months, the Interex digging into their remaining holdings with zealous determination that setback the Legion quite a few times, but in the end the Demons overran their positions and wrestled the planet away from them. Afterwards they reduced Isstvan III to a smoldering wasteland devoid of all life, and continued on their great conquest.
Rashgarroth was then sent on a recon mission to the planet, Farlion. Intel brought to Rash had informed him that a Pit Lord by the name of Balgornash had been also sent to the planet. Rashgarroth remembered the brutality of the one named Azmodan, and reckoned he could use Balgornash to further the destruction of this planet as well. So, Rashgarroth brought Nerothos along with him to Farlion where they found the Pit Lord falling into a trap set by the Natives of this world, and his power being devoured by them like parasitic leaches. Rashgarroth landed on the roof of the building and let loose an evil cackle to alert them of his presence before crashing through the roof along with Nerothos, one of his hooves crushing the life from one of them into the dirt before he rended another one with a quick swipe of his claws without pause, the man's entrails spilling out onto the ground. With a wave of his hands and a chuckle from his throat, Rashgarroth melted the flesh of another man while Nerothos ripped another in half, and slaughtered another with his claws. Only what Rashgarroth presumed was the Leader, escaped the slaughter and called out to Balgornash to take his vengeance out on the pathetic whelp, to which the Pit Lord quickly complied and chased him down. Rashgarroth and Nerothos then began to usher in the Legion as Balgornash enacted his revenge on the whelp and before long the Planet was the Legion's once more, devoid of all life and transformed into a desolate wasteland, like so many before it. Nerothos was left in charge to turn Farlion into a Legion Bastion while Rashgarroth continued to enact the will of the Legion.
The next planet on the Legion's destructive path was Ordinatus, a world filled entirely of sentient machine lifeforms, which would prove a true challenge for Rashgarroth and his band of Demons. So, he enlisted the aid of Adramelech and his vast forces and engaged in a full-scale invasion of Ordinatus, utilizing Adramelech's vast barbarics with his own sorcerous allies, and began to set Ordinatus to the flame. Although Ordinatus' people had a vast variety of weapons like Rashgarroth had never seen before, the Dark Magic he and his allies wielded was far too much for the Machine-people, and their citadels crumbled beneath it. Rashgarroth fought against the being only known as the Machine-King, and tore through his armor in the final, decisive moment of the brawl, ending the battle on Ordinatus as the once majestic mechanical cities turned into rusting ruins and their inhabitants left sprawled and torn throughout the world. Rashgarroth kept the scepter of the Machine-King as a trophy, presenting it to Tichondrius as a tribute to the Darkener's greatness. It is there, on Xoroth, where Rashgarroth had his own weapon created, the Battle-staff that would bear the name, Acerbus. Crafted from the metals of the Nether, it was both beautiful and horrifying all at once, awe-inspiring and fear-inducing, it was Death given corporal form. With Acerbus, Rashgarroth waged another war, this time on the planet Sicarus, a planet that was had repelled a non-Legion aligned Demonic Warband earlier, now Rashgarroth found it fitting to finish the job that Warband had failed to complete.
Calling upon the aid of Adramelech once again, Rashgarroth began another War. His armies trodded across the vast landscape of Sicarus, the land becoming twisted and perverse as more and more Demons washed over it. Sicarus fell easy thanks to the combined efforts of Rashgarroth and Adramelech, and it left Rashgarroth... unsatisfied. The time would come again for retribution as Kil’jaeden the Deceiver discovered a new way to invade Azeroth, the Shamanistic Orcs of Draenor. Rashgarroth was tasked with aiding Kil’jaeden in convincing the Orcs into drinking the blood of Mannoroth, and took the form of a greying old Orc Shamen. With the help of Rashgarroth, Kil’jaeden convinced the Orcs to do his bidding, and transformed them into Warmongering creatures of destruction. Rashgarroth’s task was done, and so he returned to the Twisted Nether to wait for the Legion’s second return. The Orcs waged their war on the Humans, a relatively young race, and utterly annihilated and sacked the fortress of Stormwind, taking it as their own before waiting six years to attack again, and this time, however, things did not go as planned.
The Orcs failed on Azeroth, as they were nearly wiped out and most of them pushed back into Draenor, which under stress by the reckless sorcery of Ner’zhul, literally exploded. Rashgarroth waited many years for another chance to invade Azeroth, and that chance came when Kil’jaeden created the Undead Scourge and used them as a tool to invade Azeroth once again. Unlike the Orcs, the Scourge succeeded in destroying the Human nation of Lordaeron. The Scourge swept through the land and even went as far as destroying the Elven kingdom of Quel’thalas, and resurrected the deceased necromancer, Kel’thuzad into a undead lich. With the Lich’s aid the Legion was summoned into Azeroth, and Rashgarroth joined in on the assault, following Archimonde’s army all the way to Kalimdor, where he witnessed the worst loss ever to befall the Legion since Sargeras, Archimonde was slain at Mount Hyjal. Rashgarroth was forced to flee the mountain and hid within the forests of Felwood, taking the mortal disguise of a Night Elf, and taking the name Xavin Darkleaf. For years since the Third War he’s been traveling around Azeroth doing what he did best, spreading fear and deceit across the mortal nations.-:Rashgarroth during the Third War:- About a year after the Third War Xavin traveled down into Felwood. There he assimilated the various Satyr clans and created the Covenant of Shadows, a organization hellbent on the corruption of Ashenvale and the Moonglade. Xavin himself never actually showed his true appearance, always distorting himself with shadow to appear as a Shadow Satyr, yet larger and more muscular. With this sizable army of expendable pawns, Xavin sent his most powerful Satyr Hellcallers and Warlocks to Ashenvale to begin corrupting the forest. Using a legion created artifact known as a Dark Harvester, the Covenant began to rapidly corrupt the land around the entrance to the Felwood Valley, the taint spreading farther and farther the more the Dark Harvester was active. The Night Elves waged war on the Covenant, trying desperately to breach past the Satyrs to strike at the Dark Harvester itself, yet each attempt was met in failure as Xavin himself protected the Dark Harvester from all who would dare to disrupt it.
A nasty side effect of the Dark Harvester was that all who were slain in proximity of the growing taint, their souls would be wretched from their bodies and become the Dark Harvester’s power source. Soon the Harvester did not even need the aid of the Satyr Hellcallers to operate, it became solely powered by the Souls of the slain Satyrs and Night Elves. Xavin’s plan would come to pass if it was not for the final aid of the Druids, who gathered together and cast a devastating spell against the Covenant of Shadows. The spell targeted the area around the Dark Harvester, and at the height of the taint the essence of Kalimdor seemed to rise up in protest against this atrocity being committed in Ashenvale, and the forces of Nature lashed out all around. The Covenant was seemingly slaughtered that day, as Nature herself rose up to rip apart Satyrs and impale them on roots and hang them by vines. The Covenant had been defeated, and the taint it had caused soon disappeared when the Dark Harvester was destroyed, it would seem that the power of Nature had prevailed.-:Rashgarroth in his first mortal form, Xavin Darkleaf:- Xavin fled from Kalimdor after the Covenant’s destruction, leaving the survivors in utter disarray. He set his sights on the Eastern Kingdoms, landing on the prison isle of Tol Barad. He quickly began to spread his dark influence throughout the isle, corrupted and twisted it’s denizens into horrid abominations of Shadow and Flesh. With this new army, he built up his forces on Tol Barad, staying mostly down in the deepest reaches of the structure once known as Baradin Hold. Over the months Baradin Hold grew, expanding into a massive Citadel known as the Black Spire. From this new hold he prepared to branch to assault the sea nation of Kul Tiras, and if he took hold of Kul Tiras, the whole of Azeroth would tremble as he controlled the strongest Navy every constructed. He would lay waste to mortal city after mortal city, until all of Azeroth would be consumed in fire and death.
First of course he would have to construct his own formidable Navy to attack Kul Tiras, which seemed a rather difficult task in itself. Xavin did not worry however, he was a very patient man, he wouldn’t care if it took decades or even centuries to fulfill Sargeras’ will. He sent out his mortal servants to plunder and gather enough supplies to begin construction, summoning a few Mo’args and quite a few Gan’args from the Twisted Nether. He borrowed this constructors from a powerful Annihilan named Gorgannoth, the Pit Lord didn’t seem to mind much at all, for he had scores more. With this team of builders, Xavin built a fleet of well designed and well fortified destroyers, he dubbed the largest and strongest of these vessels, Tichondrius’ Hammer, in memorial for the deceased Nathrezim Patriarch. With this new Naval force, he planned to ambush the Kul Tiras drydocks in the dead of night.
Five days later Xavin’s fleet struck. They came through the fog and began to terrorize the docks, bombarded them with Unholy flame and metal fragments. The Kul Tiras armada was slow to deploy thanks to the constant onslaught by the enemy fleet, but soon they emerged from the docks ready to do battle with these invaders. The Armada met straight with Xavin’s fleet, and a massive sea battle began. Round after round pelted both sides, many died horrific deaths as shrapnel tore through their bodies and slag melted them as ammo below the decks exploded outward. In the end Xavin’s fleet was defeated by the Kul Tiras armada, who traced the fleeing Flagship, Tichondrius’ Hammer, back to Tol Barad, and after they destroyed the wounded vessel, they opened fire upon the Black Spire. Xavin’s island Citadel was destroyed and the wreckage fell into the sea and around the island. Many of Xavin’s slaves were slain, the others were returned to normal when Xavin abandoned Tol Barad.
Rashgarroth noticed that his mortal shell, Xavin Darkleaf, had begun to deteriorate rapidly from the overuse of Shadow Magick. Alarmed that his cover might be blown, he set out across Azeroth looking for a more suitable host, a High Ranking priest within the Church of the Light. Finding an opportunity to strike, Rashgarroth ambushed the Priest in a Stormwind alleyway, and possessed him. With Rashgarroth in a new, stronger body, he quickly disposed of Xavin’s dying body, utterly obliterating Xavin’s mind, body, and soul. From there he began to corrupt the Church of the Light in Stormwind, turning many of the Priests into devious and dangerous Shadow Priests before Archbishop Benedictus and a group of Argent Crusaders rushed the Cathedral, slaying many of the corrupted Priests in a fierce battle that left the Cathedral in shambles, as went exactly to Rashgarroth’s plan. A few months later during the start of the Elemental War, Rashgarroth plotted... He had possessed another hapless pawn, an Ex-Marshal of the Alliance, named Garland. With this new, and notible more powerful human body, Rashgarroth went to enslave quite a few bandit and militia groups around the Eastern Kingdoms, and took up residence in the ruins of an old Castle, once thought forever lost by the Alliance, which he soon later dubbed, Vain Hallow Keep.-:Garland possessed by Rashgarroth:- From Vain Hallow, Rashgarroth was contacted by other Dreadlords who remained on Azeroth after the Third War, most notably Balnazzar and Varimathras, the latter of which was still loyal to the Legion and plotting with his brother. Varimathras had a plan, a very devious plan to overthrow Sylvanas and take over the Capital City for the Legion. Rashgarroth applauded this plan, noting that the foolish Banshee Queen was far too occupied in Northrend with her personal vendetta against the Lich King to see what was really happening. So, Rashgarroth was summoned to the Capital City by Varimathras, who had enslaved a portion of the Forsaken in the Undercity along with his personal minion, Putress. There Varimathras sent Putress to begin the Royal Coup, and as Putress traveled to Northrend, Varimathras and Rashgarroth quickly began to mass enslave or slaughter the Forsaken, taking the entire City for themselves. Once Putress had arrived at the Wrathgate and bombarded both Alliance, Horde, and Scourge forces with the Forsaken Plague of Undeath did Varimathras and Rashgarroth begin to summon mass amounts of Demons into the Undercity, including an extremely powerful Doomlord by the name of Khanok the Impassable.
With the Coup successful and the Undercity taken, Rashgarroth left Varimathras to Lord over it as he traveled to Stratholme to get in contact with Balnazzar. Together he and Balnazzar met in mortal forms, Rashgarroth in the guise of Garland, and Balnazzar in the guise of Saiden Dathrohan. Rashgarroth informed Balnazzar of the initial success of Varimathras' coup, but stated curiosity over Varimathras' new tone, as it seemed he had ulterior motives for the Undercity than simply a Legion stronghold, but neither expressed nor showed any interest in telling Rashgarroth anything. Balnazzar explained that Varimathras was in the 'doghouse' because of him allying with Sylvanas in the Civil War in the Plaguelands, and was trying desperately to prove himself still loyal to the Legion. Accepting that, Rashgarroth then pondered on what Balnazzar intended to do with the Crusade under his control. Balnazzar told his fellow Nathrezim that if the Undercity Coup failed, then he would use the Crusade to finally rid themselves of the Forsaken, who had been quoted as being "A thorn in my side for too long". Rashgarroth agreed that Sylvanas had made a mockery of the Nathrezim and had to be destroyed, and would aid Balnazzar in whatever plots he devised. However fate would have it that as Rashgarroth left, Varimathras was slain in the Undercity by the combined efforts of the Horde led by Thrall and Sylvanas, while his minion Putress had been executed by the Alliance led by Varian and Jaina. Balnazzar stayed true to his word, and slaughtered every Crusader in the Plaguelands, and resurrected them as Undead, creating a group called 'The Risen'.
From his Castle stronghold, Rashgarroth watched as the Elemental War raged on across Azeroth, which helped keep the human dogs off his scent as he continued to amass his mortal forces within Vain Hallow, and even managed to open a minor demonic portal in the highest tower of the Keep, summoning more minor demons into Azeroth to do his bidding, even some Mo'args and Gan'args to help reinforce the Inner Sanctum. Now Rasgarroth waits for the moment to strike... watching the mortals tire themselves on the Twilight's Hammer and the forces of Deathwing the Destroyer. Soon though...very soon... Rashgarroth will unleash the tides of death upon Azeroth, and help finish what Sargeras himself started. However Rashgarroth himself would become the Demon Lord Belial’s commander, lording over many Nathrezim, and carried out his will in Azeroth. Rashgarroth enslaved nearly all of the entire town, and managed to keep travelers from coming in, and the surviving townsfolk from coming out. His plan was thwarted however when a band of brave Adventurers braved the peril and challenged Garland (Rashgarroth’s possessed host) to a battle. Nearly all of the adventurers were slain, yet one managed to get past his mighty armor, and decapitate him. Not risking true exposure, Rashgarroth slunk away unseen into the shadows, and returned to Vain Hallow. Rashgarroth and his forces prepared to strike again at the Humans, but something… called to the Dreadlord. Rashgarroth couldn’t ignore this call, and traveled to Northrend, where in a cave deep within the Stormpeak Mountains, he found Varthisimas frozen in a block of Ice. Wanting to free his brother, he shattered the barrier and his vicious brother was free! Varthisimas thanked his brother for freeing him, and asked if he would join him in taking down Belial. More loyal to his brother than to Belial, Rashgarroth accepted and devised a devious plan with his brother. Knowing full well they could not easily destroy Belial, who’s real name was revealed to be Musta’Krakish, they decided he would be imprisoned for all eternity. Rashgarroth constructed the device known as The Cube, and with it they could imprison the mighty Eredar. Soon over the course of weeks the construction of the cube commences, and finally it was finished. The brothers Nathrezim moved quickly to intercept Musta’Krakish when he was at his most vulnerable.
They struck in the Twisted Nether against Musta’krakish. Rashgarroth, Varthisimas both combined their supreme powers to combat the Eredar. The battle lasted for hours, but finally in the end they defeated him, and sucked his soul into the Cube. Followed his defeat Musta’krakish left behind two items of power, the Bible Black, and Silneesh. Rashgarroth took Silneesh and Varthisimas took the Bible Black. Finally Musta’Krakish had been defeated. Rashgarroth then returned to Vain Hallow to command his forces, and now plots with his brother on what to do next. Afterwards Rashgarroth created another Mortal Form, traveled to Stormwind and took over the Slaughtered Lamb and migrated a portion of his minions to the underground crypts and fortified it with Imps, Succubi, Felguards, a small portion of Undead, and a Corrupted Demon Hunter. However, forces would play out against the Seeker, as Belial had been freed weeks later, actually having been trapped for thousands of years thanks to the Cube entering a time warp and being sent back in time before the Cube destabilized and allowed the Eredar to break free. Belial appeared before Rash, and angry at the Seeker’s betrayal, carved out his eyes and flung him into Belial’s own torture Dimension, where he would remain for three days. Three days doesn’t sound very long, but in the Dimension time is warped so three days on Azeroth would actually be three years, and during that time did Rashgarroth become hardened and battle scarred, and once he was released did he again pledge allegiance to Belial and went back to do the Eredar’s bidding. Meanwhile, a band of Alliance Soldiers recently delved into the Cyrpt and destroyed Rashgarroth's forces, yet the Nathrezim was no where to be found. Infact he had fled Azeroth completely and returned to the Twisted Nether via a portal in Vain Hallow. He left Azeroth to do the Legion's bidding on other worlds, but he would return to exact his vengeance on all of the Mortal Races.-:Brauner, Rashgarroth's last form before he left Azeroth:- Meanwhile in the vastness of the Twisting Nether, Rashgarroth was tasked with taking down the populace of a newly discovered world, the world of Darkovia. The planet had a naturally blanket of Shadows covering it, and it's natural inhabitants were creatures of shadow that preyed upon everything that lived, normally the Legion would easily corrupt these beasts further and add them to their ranks, but an Alien race to Darkovia called the 'Zy'raks' had invaded centuries earlier, and nearly destroyed the entire natural inhabitant race, and had built cities all across the planet. The cities used the magic of the Light to dispell the natural darkness, driving many of the creatures off. This itself was an atrocity to the power of Darkness, and Rashgarroth took it upon himself to destroy the Zy'raks, and claim the planet for the Legion. So Rashgarroth and his lieutenants, the vicious Shivarra Priestess Azazel and the barbaric Doomguard Uko'bach opened a portal from the nether onto Darkovia, and quickly began to start their operation.
Rashgarroth and his band of servitors set out to do Kil'jaeden's work on Darkovia, quickly establishing a Command Center for which to direct all of their operations from. Once it was completed, they used the remaining darkness on Darkovia to stabilize a portal strong enough to bring forth an entire Host of Demons, and began their conquest. Unlike previous conquests, Rashgarroth was more of a field commander and tactician than a manipulator, although in both he was well specialized. Soon one by one cities fell, and the Legion began construction bastions of darkness within the ruins as Rashgarroth continued to lead the armies of the Legion for his master and Lord of the Legion. From the battlefields of the planet Rashgarroth took the bones of Demons, fashioning them onto his armor. This act is eerie similar to the way Rashgarroth first did when he was trapped in the Torture Dimension in the original timeline, but once that was undone so were his modifications. Now looking more vicious than ever, Rashgarroth raised his blade; Kalmageddon, the Blade of Darkness, high into the air as the armies of the Legion enclosed around the capital, Radiant Garden.
His troops stormed the City, raped and pillaged everything they saw, leaving no survivors in their wake. Finally Rashgarroth burst through the Castle and into the Throne Room, and there is where he met the Highking of Radiant Garden, Alsem the Wise. A brutal and epic battle insued, both powers of Light and Darkness clashing violently in the Throne Room, breaking apart the floors and obliteraing anyone who was unlucky enough to get caught in the crossfire of the duel. Alsem put up a valiant fight, but in the end his head was rended from his shoulders after Kalmageddon unleashed it's power, and shattered the Highking's greatsword. With the Highking slain, Rashgarroth unleashed the full power of darkness over Radiant Garden, and proclaimed this planet as one of the Legion's Bastions of Power. Once the Legion had taken Darkovia as a secure planet to amass their forces, Rashgarroth himself built his own fortress upon the world as other powerful agents of the Legion came forth to take their own standings on this new world, and so the Seeker summoned in hordes of Tothrezim, Mo'arg and Gan'arg to reconstruct Radiant Garden from the once shining city, into a dark and horrid Castle known only as Hollow Bastion. It's name means Empty Castle, for no mortal beings tred there... only the horrid beasts and soldiers of the Burning Legion.-:Hollow Bastion, Rashgarroth's seat of power on Darkovia:- Soon after the Legion took hold, the barren terrain turned from wasteland... to utter cold as darkness blanketed the land, and killed off everything that was not a demon, including the beasts that originally lived here. The large structures of Hollow Bastion was the only thing that seemed to house anything living. From his seat of Power on the now desolate and icy world of Darkovia, Rashgarroth sent his minions, Azazel and Uko'Bach out into the universe to continue his conquest, whilst he himself broke the barriers of Darkovia, allowing for a being like Kil'jaeden to easily come and go as he pleased. Rashgarroth began to contimplate what he must do next, and finally decided it was time to return to the land that had thwarted the Legion's conquest... Azeroth. So Rashgarroth extended a small portion of his influence down to the cursed Planet, and caught the attention of some of his remaining mortal servitors who stayed behind, including one of his most mischievous lieutenants, the Imp Infiltration Agent, Kobal and one of his most merciless lieutenants, the Succubi Shadowmancer, Nyx. Soon the band of mortals under Kobal and Nyx would band together, and Herald in the Seeker of Darkness back into Azeroth.
Kobal enlisted the aid of a Orc Warlock whom was loyal to the Burning Legion named Kalmaged, who scoured Azeroth to find the remaining bands of servitors loyal to the Seeker of Darkness. Once all of the members have been found and brought together, Nyx would gather a sect of the Shadow Council known as the Underblade, which itself was stationed in Ashenvale. A majority of the Cult moved from Ashenvale into the mountains of Desolace, as the land was already barren and destroyed, despite the Cenarion Circle's attempts to bring life into the ruined land, as it would be a remote place to 'set up shop'. The Cult began to form massive slabs, which they would begin to build the portal archway with, which would bring Rashgarroth to Azeroth when the time was right. The Underblade were set back however by constant attacks by the Centaur, but in the end the Cult managed to slay an entire tribe of them, and continue construction. Now with the gate finished, the time quickly approaches for the Seeker's return. Rashgarroth returned to Azeroth with a small portion of his Armies, as they could not all pour through at once, and maintaining a connection between the Nether and Azeroth was very taxing, so they only managed to bring in 1/4 of Rashgarroth's demons, including his Doomguard Lieutenant.
Once again in need of a mortal form, Rashgarroth set across Kalimdor, and delved into the Southern Barrens. Utilizing his dark powers, he invaded the body of Theramore resident, Jarod Blackthorn and using his powers he managed to become the Theramore Dockmaster and enslave a small part of the Theramore Guard. He used his mental magics to enslave Commander Roberts and Commander Singleton of Fort Triumph and Honor's Stand respectively, and wiped the memories of the Sailors and Dockhands who handled Trade. With the trail thrown off of his involvement in denying Trade, Jarod routed out the so called, 'Traitors' and had them executed, further bolstering his popularity and creating a good character as a facade. Rashgarroth traveled to Ashenvale where he used his dark influence to turn a few Sentinels under his sway, and used them as his private guard as they became known as the 'Dark Sentinels'. Together they traveled to Felwood and after speaking to Fel'dan the Shadowlord of the Shadow Council, they quickly merged the forces in Jaedenar and Shadow Hold into the Triumvirate, now having major control over both Desolace and Felwood. Utilizing these new forces, Rashgarroth then sought out dark and lost souls across Kalimdor to become his disciples, the first one being the Human Ex-Paladin/Warrior, Amen Eisenhorn. Gifting him control over Darkness, he aged him magically till he physically looked like a fifty year old, but was physically fit as a spry twenty-five year old.
Sending Amen to infiltrate Theramore and Northwatch to keep better tabs on the Alliance in the area. The Cult is led by Amen Eisenhorn, whom prays to a large Altar of the demon Rashgarroth for guidance, and of course Rashgarroth would answer via telepathy and would only speak to Amen, who informed the rest of the Cult of what the Seeker demanded. The Cult pose mostly as mercenaries and civilians, but would gather every few days to pay tribute to their demonic master, usually with ritualistic sacrifice and cannibalistic consumption. To the greater populace, the Lost and the Damned is practically unheard of, except for a few whom had the unfortunate chance of meeting a few of the Cult members and surviving until they were hunted down viciously by the Cult and sacrificed. The Cult is extremely secretive and work tirelessly to continue to hold that covert status, leaving no witnesses and destroying any evidence.
Rashgarroth returned to Vain Hallow in the Eastern Kingdoms, bolstering his forces there with his new Satyr minions, along with making Azazel the main Commanding Demon there. With his Bastions now replenished, he abandoned Desolace and moved all of his forces in Kalimdor to Jaedenar, while sending Kobal to Dreadmist Peak to lord over the Burning Blade Clan members there. While reinforcing Jaedenar, Rashgarroth came across a Blood Elf named Athaniar Sunblood, one of the remaining followers of Kael’Thas Sunstrider, who had been slain in Magisters Terrace on Quel’Danas. The Blood Mage pledged himself to Rashgarroth, and to a greater extent, the Legion. Rashgarroth sent Athaniar to Silvermoon, to keep a tab on the Blood Elves, while Athaniar’s counterpart, Amen Eisenhorn kept tabs on the Alliance. With his hands now delved into both the Alliance and Horde’s business, his forces ready, his bastions stocked, Rashgarroth traveled to Vain Hallow to continue his operations in that region, as it was the least populated region. He sought out the Nathrezim, Raze'likh, in the Blasted Lands. Raze'likh was a powerful Dreadlord who had commanded much of the Ogres and Shadowsworn Cult in the land, but now his forces have become horribly dwindled and the Demon's grip weakened significantly.
Rashgarroth struck a bargain with Raze'likh, he would reinforce the settlements in the Blasted Lands as long as Raze'likh would join the Triumvirate and aid the cause. Raze'likh accepted, knowing that the Triumvirate was now a large driving force of the Legion in Azeroth, and his loyalties to the Legion bound him to accept. With the Triumvirate's forces bolstered in the Eastern Kingdoms, Rashgarroth knew it was time to create an elite fighting force, which would be the forefront of his wrath in Azeroth. The chance came when Rashgarroth's brother, Asmodeus, delivered onto him a dark tome, filled with research and notes upon something simply known as the 'Carnage Experiment'. Rashgarroth took this knowledge and set out to Duskwood, where he found the grave of the creature known as 'Carnage' that was detailed in the book. There he conducted a ritual to awaken the creature, using the lifeforces and bodies of several acolytes to revive the great creature. Once awoken, the beast pledged his service to Rashgarroth, calling him 'Lord Dread' and becoming the first Rider of the Dark, and with the way clear, Carnage traveled to assimilate others into Riders as Rashgarroth sat back and watched quietly.
Rashgarroth's armies grew as he assaulted Nethergarde and Dreadmaul Hold with a force of over a thousand. Dreadmaul fell first, it's forces overwhelmed by the tide of Demons although the crafty Goblins managed to set explosive charges on the mountain side and burried the entire fort and many Demons under rocks. Nethergarde was weakoned with long-range siege cannons, and then filled with the remaining Demons, it too then fell. With both mortal bases felled, Rashgarroth's armies then occupied the ruins and took over all of the Blasted Lands, using a complicated system to keep them from being discovered before upgrading could finish. Meanwhile, in Outlands, Rashgarroth's master, Belial, was slain along with his disciple, Grok'tharg the Oldnaughty naughty!, and Sil'neesh and the Bible Black lost. Masterless again, Rashgarroth traveled to Outland to aid another Eredar, Naberius, in getting the scattered Demons that were under Grok'tharg back in line, bringing Azazel with him along with Nerothos, leaving the Demons in Azeroth under the watchful eye of Fel'dan. Now Rashgarroth begins to bolster his forces even more in Outland, gathering a sizable amount of servitors from the Eredar before departing back to Azeroth with his new servants, bolstering his forces in Azeroth even more.
His eyes have turned to Kalimdor once again, and he has summoned forth his unseen assassins, the Dark Sentinels to reek havoc and chaos in Ashenvale and during that time they encountered a Keeper of the Grove, which they engaged in battle with. The battle was going downhill for the Sentinels, until the timely arrival of Rashgarroth, who engaged the Keeper of the Grove and overpowered him, slaying him in the process. Rashgarroth saw the use for the corpse of one such as a Keeper, and took it with him to Jaedenar, where he reanimated it shortly after. Using the reanimated Keeper of the Grove, he managed to create a force of corrupted Dryads and Treants, combining their forces with the Dark Sentinels who began to harass and attack Alliance and Horde forces in Felwood. Rashgarroth sat back, his forces becoming more and more seclusive as the days passed, he was just bidding his time. Waiting for the perfect moment to strike and demolish all in his way, for the glory of the Legion, for the glory of Kil'jaeden.
