Name: Thrak Manssa
Race: Human
Age: 54
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 215lbs
Appearance: Thrak is a tall, imposing figure that has short brown hair that is beginning that grey's more and more as the days pass. His eyes are brown and he is very built and toned, age having been slowing him down for only the last few years, though little difference can be seen as he calls on the force to strengthen his body in a fight. Thrak has a cybernetic right arm and shoulder, along with his left hand and left leg below the knee. His whole body is scarred, every scar telling a story of pain and suffering from his training and difficult life. He was once slightly attractive but his scars and overall disregard of his appearance hides this now.
He is often seen in wearing black tight fitting robes. He also wears black boots and black gloves, the latter to hide his cybernetic hands. If he is attempting to blend in he wears a outer robe that is brown, giving him the appearance of a peasant. When not blending he wears a black outer robe with the Sith Empire's symbol stitched onto the back, something he gained during his time as a guard for the Stor family of Sith Aristocrats. He also always carries his sabers, both on his belt, if not he will find a way to hid it on his person, as he dislikes blasters.
Personality: Thrak is often a very harsh man who is usually up front and blunt about situations. As he has grown older however, he has learned the use for subtlety and subterfuge. Thrak is an intense and cold man and does not particularly “like” being around others, as he has been hurt in the past. Most that meet him realize quickly that he isn't exactly talkative, he has gone up to four years without saying anything and ever since he has seen it only necessary to speak when there is no other option. This overall demeanor is more or less a reaction to the many losses in his life and the failures that he can’t let go of. He also is rather humble, knowing that over estimating his own strength could lead to his own undoing. He cares little for others reason to hate the Jedi, his own being the only reason he needs, the rest of the Sith order is just a way for him to accomplish his goals. He is a strong believer in Justice and believes the Jedi assist in the subjugation of all of it's member systems, seeing them as what they are; Brainwashed lap dogs of the Republic, which he himself was before his eyes were opened to the Dark side. In many ways he is a Shell of a once hopeful and just child that has lost too much of himself to recognize who he is today, knowing that the universe is far to cold a place for the light of hope.
Birth place: Telos IV
Faction: Sith
Rank: Initiate
Previous Faction: Dark Jedi
Previous Rank: Dark Jedi Knight
Bio: Thrak was born into a poor family on the outer rim planet of Telos IV. His parents, Gell and Rita were barely making enough to feed their children, not to mention all of the fights between the couple. Unknown to Gell, Rita had an affair with a traveler from Corellia named Dash Kuta. Gell didn’t find out until one day he came home from work finding them together and in a rage killed them both. Gell was then imprisoned for life leaving his children all alone. Thrak was sent to an orphanage with his oldest sister Mela, who was twelve and his other sister Ellenah, who was eight. Mela protected and cared for her two siblings and one day she ran away from the orphanage along with the other two. They lived together on the streets as urchins for almost a year when a Jedi named Ariv Carver came to the Telos on a diplomatic mission. While traveling on the streets he came across Thrak who was alone. Ariv felt a strong pull toward the young boy, the Jedi asked the boy where his parents were. Mela and Ellanah came back to find Thrak and Ariv asked them if they would allow him to take Thrak to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Mela agreed, thinking that the life of a Jedi would be far better than that of a street urchin. Thrak, who was only three years old at this point and was shepherded off to the space port. It wasn’t until they left Telos that the boy began to miss his sisters, feeling that he would never see them again.
Age 3 - 10
Once on Coruscant Thrak spent much of his time adjusting to Temple life. He was lonely and made few friends, never really opening up to anyone in the massive Temple. Only one other youngling in Thrak’s clan made an effort to get to know him, Rayce Farelle. The two would become fast friends and were nearly inseparable. In time Thrak opened up and began to excel in his studies. Thrak was an early stand out among the other younglings quickly grasping concepts of the force such as Telekinesis, but his real talent lie with a saber. He defeated the other younglings in single combat on a regular basis. He reveled in the attention but there was one other Youngling that always seemed to steal the spotlight from him, his only friend; Rayce Farelle. Rayce always seemed to be ahead of Thrak even with a saber, Thrak’s strongest area. Unlike Thrak however Rayce had no desire for attention or glory. Rayce’s personable self made him many friends while Thrak’s thrust for attention made him very few. Thrak held a secret resentment for his friend, a envy that he would carry for years to come.
When Thrak and Rayce were both approaching age ten they were considered the two most capable younglings at their age and were both picked by Masters and began their training as padawans. Thrak was picked by a Jedi Guardian named Gath Var, a very physical practitioner of Ataru and Shien. Gath was a wise but very strict that saw great potential in Thrak but he also sensed confusion and fear in the young boy. Gath would be very hard on the young boy thinking that with discipline and focus he could help Thrak control these feelings. They began training immediately, the boy was a natural athlete and he excelled at Ataru. Thrak was a natural with the style and learned at a very accelerated rate but Gath was also a student of hand to hand combat and taught Thrak these ways as well, encouraging discipline and focus through physical prowess. Thrak force training was focused on body manuplation like force jump and speed. Gath pushed him constently to go farther then he could have thought but this pushing would a great deal of tension between the two. Thrak began to see Gath as more of a coach and not a mentor.
Thrak’s first mission with his master was about two years into his apprenticeship. The mission was to the Outer Rim to negotiate a treaty between two mining companies that were fighting over rights to a remote asteroid field near Ryloth. When they arrived they found that both companies where hiring mercenaries and bounty hunters to sabotage and even openly attack each other. One of the companies contracted a notorious crime lord, Ora Gleen, to fight for them. They eventually made contact with the heads of each company but they had lost control of the mercenaries and they were being held hostage by Gleen. Gath showed great faith in Thrak by allowing him to accompany him to negotiate a settlement which fell through and Gath and Thrak had to resort to their lightsabers. During the fight, Thrak captured Gleen and they peacefully resolved the dispute.
Gath and Thrak returned to the Temple, but not for long as Gath’s missions took them from one side of the galaxy to the other, and the only time they spent at the temple was spent vigorously training and Thrak saw little of his friend Rayce. After a few years and many missions Gath took Thrak who was now fifteen to train on Dxun. When they arrived on Dxun, Gath dropped Thrak off in an unforgiving sector of the forests with nothing but his saber with the instructions to simply survive for a week alone. It was a difficult time for Thrak and while trying to find shelter he encountered a pack of Maalraas that attacked him. Thrak survived the encounter and discovered a new application to his natural telekinetic ablities. When he was surrounded, he pushed out with the force, throwing all the beasts into trees and rocks all around them. When he rejoined his master he learned that the technique was called Force Wave, and began learning to refine this ability. He did not escape the attack unscathed however and would carry several scars the rest of his life, including a large one down his back. After this Gath began to teach him the basics of Shien to compliment his use of the aggressive Ataru, though Thrak saw little use for it at the time. Thrak spent almost three years on Dxun adhering to the strict and almost brutal training regimen that Gath had planned for him. The training took its toll on the young padawan and he would question Gath’s reasons for the intensive training, but never shared these with his master. One particular incident that causeed Thrak to question Gath's motives was when he spent an entire week stalking and attacking his padawan. Thrak slept in fear of his master the entire time but as the days pasted, and while Thrak began to see the improvements in his abilities, he would begin to question and distrust his master. He made great strides with his saber techeque and even his connection to the force. Despite the advances Thrak was making, he longed for the temple and his friends. The time spent on Dxun where lonely and bleak for Thrak, he missed his friend Rayce most of all and wondered how he was doing. When Thrak was eighteen they departed for Coruscant, their time on Dxun complete.
When they arrived at the Temple, Gath went to the council to receive their new orders, while Thrak went to see his friend Rayce. He found that Rayce was excelling in his training and was shaping into a great Jedi, Thrak was as well, but not as quickly as Rayce. The envy that Thrak held for Rayce began to reappear and grow as they trials loomed ever closer. As Thrak approached the age of Knighthood he and Rayce trained vigorously to ready themselves but Gath had voiced his opinion that Thrak was not ready for the trials, sensing Thrak’s impulsiveness and anger. These feeling where only exacerbated when Rayce was knighted while Gath would not permit Thrak to even attempt them. Eventually Thrak was given permission to undergo the trails but he failed them the first two times, his anger and frustration growing at each failure. Thrak thought it was embarrassing to still be padawan at his age but before he could attempt a third time, Gath had received another mission, this time to Concord Dawn.
Age - 25
Thrak traveled with Gath to the Concord Dawn on a mission to help quell a bloody uprising against the local government. When they arrived Gath and Thrak were separated during a skirmish with the rebels. Thrak escaped the fight and ended up a slum. There he was taken in by a woman and her family; the woman tended to his wounds and even befriended him. Thrak felt something about her, some thing different, but he couldn’t place what it was until she told him her name was Mela. Thrak’s mind went back to his earliest memory of the day the Jedi came to take him to Coruscant and the girl that told him never to forget. Thrak was overjoyed at this revelation and began telling her about his life as a padawan and she introduced him to her children as their uncle. But this was a short reunion as some of the rebels learned that there was a Jedi hiding in the area. They attacked the slum and in the chaos Thrak was separated from Mela and her children. When he found them again Mela was protecting her children from a band of mercenaries. Thrak could only watch as the slaughtered her and her children. Filled with rage Thrak cut them all down with his saber.
After this incident Thrak managed to find Gath but before Thrak could tell him what happened Gath revealed that a group of Mandolorian rebels were the culprits perpetrating the uprising and that they were dealing with a Dark Jedi to get their weapons. This Dark Jedi was a Bith named Kel’Amondu. The two proceeded to track the Mandolorian rebels, which lead to a brief fight before the Rebels and the Kel'Amondu escaped the planet. Gath and Thrak followed the Rebels to their ship when the Dark Jedi and the Rebels split up, Gath instructed Thrak to stow away on the Mandolorian ship while he followed the Dark Jedi. Gath followed the Bith across the galaxy in secret not even being able to contact the Jedi for it would alert the Dark Jedi to his pursuit.
Meanwhile, Thrak stayed in secret aboard the Mandolorian vessel until he over heard them laughing about the chaos they wrought on the planets populace. Thrak was filled with rage and then got an idea. He crept in to the cockpit and killed the pilot, holding the co-pilot captive, he forced him to call all the rebels to the cargo hold. Once there, Thrak depressurized the hold and ejected them into space. He then "interrogated" the co-pilot and learned where they were going to meet the dark Jedi, the planet Bakura, then killed the Mandolorian.
When he finally arrived on the planet of Bakura where the two Jedi engaged him in combat. As they fought, Gath fell from a precipice and was knocked unconscious forcing Thrak to fight Kel’Amondu alone. The Dark Jedi prayed upon Thrak’s anger, telling him that he had seen Thrak cut the mercenaries down on Nar Shadda and that Thrak had great potential that the Jedi seemed to ignore instead of foster, that his rage and anger made him strong instead of weak. Thrak was not swayed at first, saying that Kel'Amondu's weapons killed Thrak's sister, along with all the other civilians, but Kel'Amondu told Thrak that the Mandolorian's had hired the mercenaries, that he had nothing to do with all the killing, he simply wanted to draw out the Jedi. When Thrak asked why, Kel'Amondu told him that his apprentice had gone into hiding, he suspected the Jedi were on her trail and he simply was looking for information. As the fight continued, the Dark Jedi goaded Thark to release his anger and attack the Bith with all his strength, instead of holding back. As they continued to fight, Thrak realized he had no chance against the Dark Jedi Master and was losing the battle. It was during this time that Thrak began to let lose his anger at the Bith. His ferocity in each strike grew and grew. His practice of Ataru became an intricate dance and he felt the force as never before; the Darkside of the Force. He even began winning the fight against the darksider. When Kel'Amondu went to block a strike, Thrak kicked him sending him flying and knocked the Bith's saber from the his hand. As he held him at saber point, Kel'Amondu asked him how it felt to embrace the Darkside, how it felt to let loose his anger. Thrak felt a torrent of emotions and could barely stop himself from killing the dark Force user, but he responded "Good..." Thrak was so close to falling that as Gath caught up to the two of them, he could feel the struggle inside of Thrak. Gath yelled to stop, to think about what he would do next. Gath ran up and pointed his saber at Kel'Amondu, telling Thrak to leave the arrest to the Jedi Master. In that moment Thrak's mind was unguarded from the Dark Jedi Master, and he could hear him as if the Bith was in his mind. Kel'Amondu asked him one question, -Who do you want to be? A lost padawan that will be dismissed from the order? Or embrace the future as my apprentice?- Gath could feel the intrusion into Thrak's mind and in an almost instinctively parental move, he swung his saber to strike Kel'Amondu down.
Thrak only had a moment to think, his mind drunk with anger and hate, and through the haze it left on his mind he made his choice, he would be an unappreciated Padawan no more. He struck out and stopped Gath's saber with his own. Thrak almost didn't realize what he had did until after Kel'Amondu reached out with the Force and choked the life out of Gath. Thrak turned in anger to strike down the Dark Jedi, if only to stop him from killing Gath, but Kel'Amondu lifted Thrak up with the force, choking him as well. But as Thrak watched Gath's body go limp, he felt the pressure relieved from his neck. He fell to the ground and grabbed his saber only to see Kel'Amondu walking away. He turned around to the boy and dropped his saber, spreading his arms out wide. "Kill me if you want boy, I am unarmed." Thrak looked at Kel'Amondu with hate, but he disengaged his saber. "No." Then Thrak passed out from exhaustion.
When Thrak awoke, he was on a ship in space. Kel'Amondu stood next to his bed. Thrak asked him what he planned to do now. Kel'Amondu responded that he would train Thrak in the ways of the Dark Side, that is, if he wanted it. Kel'Amondu even offered to drop him off at the nearest port if he wanted. This approach began to win Thrak over. The Bith had many chances to kill the Jedi, but instead he offered his own life in return for those he took from Thrak. Thrak began to see him not as a threat, but as someone willing to be honest with him, which to Thrak, felt new. After a few days, Kel'Amondu asked if Thrak wanted to be trained. Thrak said yes, and swore himself to the darkside, wanting to feel the power and strength he had felt on Bakura again.
Kel’Amondu began training Thrak in the ways of the dark side and the lightsaber style Niman which Kel’Amondu was a master of. Like Ataru, Thrak picked it up easily and began learning the derivative form of Jar'kai duel wielding. Thrak was still unsure of his new master so he kept his guard up at first but soon he began to trust the dark Jedi. He felt that finally someone was fostering his talents and that he was realizing a potential he didn't even know he had. Kel’Amondu took his new apprentice toward the Outer Rim. They traveled from planet to planet in the farthest reaches of known space, training as they went, but soon Kel'Amondu sensed that they were being followed by a Jedi. It would turn out to be none other then Thrak’s oldest friend, Rayce Farelle. They continued to the planet Ossus. There, among the abandoned Jedi ruins left after the Cron Supernova, Kel’Amondu set a trap for the Jedi. He felt Rayce’s power and thought this would be a chance to test what Thrak had learned in the time since Bakura. Soon, however, the dark Jedi would learn that he had greatly underestimated the young Jedi.
Rayce finally arrived on Ossus landing far out in the barren wastes and preceded to the Jedi ruins. He could sense the trap but he continued anyway determined to save his friend. When Rayce made his way to the Library Thrak attacked and the two dueled, both holding back, Rayce trying to save his friend, and Thrak trying to convince Rayce to leave him to his new life, but Rayce wouldn't let Thrak go, he would have to come with him to the Temple to stand Trial for his crimes since falling. Thrak grew angry with Rayce, feeling like he was trying to hold him back. He struck out at Rayce but the Jedi pushed with the force and knocked Thrak unconscious and readied himself to confront Kel’Amondu. The Dark Jedi would not accept defeat and attacked Rayce with all his hatred and malice. Rayce’s resolve was stronger and he ran the dark Jedi through with his saber. As soon as he finished off Kel’Amondu, Thrak had found Rayce and they began a fierce duel. Thrak, filled with hate and anger at the loss of his new master stuck out at Rayce. Rayce gained the upper hand and cut off Thrak’s leg and stabbed him in his gut. As Thrak lay on the ground, he cursed Rayce and told him how much he hated the Jedi. With the last of his strength he attempted to bring down the ruins on top of Rayce. Rayce escaped but believed Thrak to be dead. Rayce felt extremely lost, had lost his greatest friend and ally to his own hand. Rayce couldn’t accept the loss and left the Jedi Order forever. But Thrak wasn’t dead, and deep in the bowls of the Temple, he clung to life with all his strength. This was just the beginning for Thrak life as a dark force wielder.
A pair of explorers were on Ossus, their names were Krell and Jan, a married couple trying to find items of importance in the ruins and mapping the effects of the Cron Drift. When they found Thrak they assumed he was a Jedi and rushed him to their ship to tend to his grievous wounds. It was this action that saved Thrak’s life. When he finally awoke he found himself in a medical facility on the planet Belderone. They had replaced his leg with a cybernetic one and once he was back to full health, Kell and Jan offered to take Thrak to where ever he needed to go. He told them that he was tracking a dark jedi and any clues he had to his whereabouts was back on Ossus. So the trio set out for the barren planet. Once they arrived Thrak repaid Kell and Jan’s kindness by killing the two in cold blood.
Once he arrived on Ossus he began to search the ruins for any reason his master would brought him to the desolate planet. He began to lose hope until one day a ship landed in the barren wastes. Thrak spied on the ship thinking that it might be a Jedi on account of the presence of the force in the being. It was a human woman and she began searching the ruins. Thrak hid his presence from the intruder not knowing what to make of her. After searching awhile, she stopped and turned in the direction of Thrak. The mysterious girl knew he was there so he attacked her. Their fight went on until she disarmed Thrak through her use of the Darkside. He readied for her to kill him but instead she asked him where Kel'Amondu was. When Thrak told her that he had been killed by the Jedi after taking him in, she told him that her name was Andva Greekas and that she was Kel'Amondu's former apprentice that he was looking for on Bakura and that she had been searching for Kel'Amondu since they were separated on Bogden. Thrak didn’t believe her at first but she had spared his life so Thrak chose to trust her.
Once the dispute was settled, Thrak resumed the training regimen that Kel’Amondu had laid out for him under the Andva’s watchful eye. He learned much about the power of the darkside and Niman. Thrak poured himself completely into his training, making great strides in understanding the Darkside. It was during this time Thrak also began to grow closer to Andva. After a year had pasted Andva came to Thrak and told him that she had a special mission for him to prove that he was ready to serve as her equal; he would have to hunt down the Jedi that had killed Kel’Amondu. Thrak then set out alone to find Rayce, his love for the Jedi gone and replaced by hate and thoughts of revenge. He started by traveling to the inner core and talk to some contacts that he thought would know of Rayce’s location but when he arrived on Coruscant he could find no trace of his former friend. It wasn’t until he found an old friend of Rayce’s that he discovered that Rayce had left the order shortly after returning from their fight and left for parts unknown. Thrak paid the man to keep quiet and set out to find his former friend.
Thrak looked for any information on Rayce's location, but leads were few and far between. It was almost a year before he picked up the trail again, it was on the planet of Tatooine. An old contact of Rayce’s that had fallen on hard times and he agreed to meet with Thrak with the promise of money. The two met and talked about the last time he talked to Rayce he was setting up a transport for him to the planet Nadiem. After killing the informant, Thrak set out for Nadiem. It had been years since their fight on Ossus and Thrak was ready for revenge.
Age 32
Thrak arrived on the planet in secret, landing in the wilderness as to not draw attention to himself. He hid his force presence fearing that the Jedi might sense him. He began scouring for information on the former Jedi. It didn’t take long for him to learn of Rayce’s whereabouts as there were stories of a Jedi hermit living in a small village far away. Thrak had his destination and with that he set off to confront his old friend. He arrived at Rayce’s home outside of a small village later the next day. Thrak sensed a strong force presence inside the home . He knew that Rayce had to sense him as he was no longer hiding his presence and found a small boy no older than four. Thrak could tell that this was Rayce’s son he had heard that the Jedi had married but he didn’t know anything about him having a son. It was then that Rayce arrived at the dwelling. Rayce attacked Thrak with the saber he had built after leaving the order but Thrak let loose all the hatred and ferocity that he held inside. Rayce fought valiantly to defend the boy but the years away from the order had slowed the former Jedi while Thrak had only grown as a saber wielder. After twenty minutes, Rayce was utterly exhausted and Thrak stuck him down in front of the boy. The man said his final words to the boy before dying.
Thrak then turned to the boy ready to kill him but then a more sinister and evil idea came to him but before Thrak could act on this he felt a stronger force user approaching. It was Rayce’s Jedi friend Heldo Felnar who had been visiting Rayce and his family. Thrak fought with the Jedi and Rayce’s wife Jera who had taken up her fallen husband’s lightsaber to defend her son. Thrak was out matched, as Heldo was a Jedi Master, Thrak realized he couldn’t win and ran, losing his arm in the process.
Thrak escaped the planet beaten and enraged, but he had completed his mission killing his last tie to his former life. When he returned to Ossus he reported to Andva what had happened and she was pleased with him. They couldn’t just continue their work as the confrontation on Nadiem had brought them unwanted attention from the Jedi and they would spend the next few years laying low and trying to avoid detection. It was during these days of training that the two began to grow closer. Thrak’s thoughts never straying from Andva and she began to think of him the same way.
Age 34
It was almost two years before they ran into another Jedi, this time it would prove even more disastrous then the last. They had been training on Ossus when they felt a strong presence on the planet. It was clear to them that a Jedi of some great power had arrived there and he wasn’t alone so the two went to investigate. They found four Jedi lead by Heldo Felnar, who had finally tracked them down. Thrak and Andva waited for the Jedi to move closer and then they ambushed them. In the ensuing fight the two dark Jedi were separated. Thrak defeated two of the opposing Jedi rather easily killing the first quickly before disarming and killing the other guardian, but he could sense that Andva was in trouble. He rushed to find her and found that she was struggling with the remaining Jedi, one of which was Heldo Felnar, the strongest of the four attackers. Thrak could tell that she was out matched and attempted to help her. The two of them fought this powerful Jedi but he was too strong, Thrak was incapacitated when his saber was cut in two. Andva unleashed a wave of force lighting to distract the Jedi, but the Jedi threw his saber and it went right through Andva, she fell into Thrak’s arms and died there. Heldo then turned his saber at Thrak who realized he could not win so he was forced to run.
Thrak had barely escaped the Jedi’s grasp, but he did lose him eventually. After he returned to where Andva had fallen, he dug a modest grave and laying her to rest there. Thrak thought that if only he was stronger he could have saved Andva. Thrak was enraged, more so then he had ever been. He swore that he'd never let someone get that close, and most of all, he'd never be beaten by the Jedi again. He set out across the galaxy, picking up followers as he went, mostly bounty hunters and pirates. He began to build up a small fortune though various rackets and scams that he oversaw. Thrak kept a low profile as to avoid notice of the Jedi, namely Master Heldo Felnar who seemed to be looking for him for some time now.
It was around this time that he began to expand into privatering and pirating, raiding cargo ships and strong arming local businesses. He set up a shady business front on Nar Shadda and Tatooine and expanded into spice dealing. After a few years of becoming complacent he took over the spice trade on Corellia. That’s when everything changed for Thark. While going over some information he obtained from a bounty hunter about a pair of Jedi they captured the week before. They showed him a picture of the two. When he saw their faces, he knew who they were the older was none other than Heldo Felnar. The other face was one he hadn’t seen in fourteen years. A tall redheaded boy with goggles, he knew who he was right away as he was the spitting image of his father. It was none other than the son of Rayce Farelle, Tem Farelle. A feeling of purpose was breathed back into the dark Jedi. He meditated long on the revelation. It was a month later that he came up with his plan in a vision. He then set about a plan that would take four years to come to fruition.
Thrak moved his resources to Raxis Prime and began a hostile grab for power among the pirates in the Tion Hegemony. Once it was complete he began launching raids on small settlements such as the Vurk of Sembla, which his vision showed him would contact Heldo Felnar and his apprentice. After sometime they appealed to the Jedi of the Dantooine Enclave, and they dispatched the Jedi Master and his Padawan. When the pair arrived on Sembla they traced the attacks back to Raxis prime and they unknown leader of the ring, which was Thrak. When they arrived the two Jedi set about locating the mysterious Dark Jedi. When they found him, he was ready for them. He attacked them at the top of the building he owned and during the fight he knocked out Tem with a bolt of force lighting, then threw Heldo off the top of the tower with another blast of force lightning. Heldo didn’t die, but was incapacitated. When Tem awoke Thrak tried to turn him to finish what he planned on doing as he stood over the child eighteen years earlier on Nadiem. During the fight, Tem struck out at Thrak with his anger and rage, almost falling to the dark side in the process, but the padawan didn’t allow his anger to take over as he calmed himself. Thrak was enraged by Tem’s strength with the force and the inability to turn the young man. He struck out wildly but opened himself up to Tem allowing him to gain the upper hand. Tem then cut off both of Thrak’s hands and took him into custody along with Heldo. Thrak was taken with them along to Dantooine where he was tried by the Dantooine Council.
Thrak's world was crushed and he lost all hope. His thoughts were of failure, he had lost his purpose in life for what seemed like the last time. His life as a Jedi, gone. His love, Andva, was dead. His criminal empire he had built for himself was taken away along with his hands by a mere Padawan. It was at a time like this that some would find enlightenment, but he only felt more anger. His anger and hate for the universe, his hate of himself and his anger over the losses in his life caused him constant pain. He began to feel physical pain and stress over his torrent of emotions. After a week the council had made it's decision, Thrak was to spend the rest of his life imprisoned in the Enclave where he would be confined in a cell and guarded at all times. He was also given another cybernetic hand to replace his lost hand, while his already cybernetic right hand was reattached.
Over the years, Thrak received regular visits from Tem. The young man tried in vain to bring the Dark Jedi back to the light but Thrak would just lay on his cot and stare at the wall, never speaking a word or visibly responding in any way. As time passed his connection to the force weakened through pain and disuse, though he never fully lost it.
Thrak spent four years of his life in captivity in the Dantooine Enclave before he would again taste freedom. He had just finished eating the food the guards had given him when several guards rushed by and his guards followed them. He could hear them unlocking the other two cells when the door to the cell area exploded and troops rushed in, the guards quickly ran with what prisoners they could gather in tow. Several guards and a prisoner were shot as they ran. When the chaos ended there were several soldiers checking the dead and surveying the room. When they saw Thrak they readied to fire, Thrak reached out with the force to defend himself. The explosion had cut the power to his cell and he dashed out, force pushing the two soldiers in the center, and then used force wave, throwing all the soldiers in to the walls. One remained conscious and attempted to pick up his blaster only to have in pulled from his grasp by Thrak, who then Force Choked the life out of him.
As the lieutenant died, Thrak turned to find their commanding officer clapping. As more soldiers rushed in and pointed there guns at Thrak, the General instructed them to hold their fire. Thrak was exhausted from the fight, the force he exerted to fight the first group of soldiers had taken most of his strength. The General however instructed them to hold their fire, offering Thrak refuge. Thrak had no choice but to accept and was escorted to the headquarters the General was working from. The General's name, as he told Thrak, was Yginn Stor and his father was a leading Aristocrat of the Sith Empire. He offered Thrak a place to stay and food. After a week of this Yginn returned from the front again to talk to Thrak. He offered that Thrak a place as a guard for his father, Hima Stor, in return for sparing Thrak's life in the holding cell. Thrak accepted and in return he made only one request: a lightsaber. Yginn obliged and gather the necessary part from the black market. After a week, Thrak had built himself a new lightsaber.
Thrak became the personal body guard for Hima and spent his time escorting the Aristocrat around the Empire, though he never seemed to have anything to do but attend galas and balls. Thrak despised this life but it allowed him to exercise his connection to the force and resharpen his skills for the first time in years. He spent any free time he had sparing the Aristocrat's other guards and exercising, planning for when he no longer needed the protection of the Sith Empire. During his free time he built a second saber and began practicing Niman/Jar'Kai again, along with further practicing Shien that he had learned as a Jedi, seeing that the calmer Niman, the defensive Shien, and even brushing up on his first form, Shii-cho. He found that these forms were easier on his body and cybernetic limbs then the Ataru that he had practiced most of his life. It was also during this time that Thrak also heard whispers of Dark Jedi searching to control the Sith Empire again, rumors of a Sith lord in the darkest places of the universe. One night when sleeping he had a dream of a Sith Lord reclaiming the Sith Empire and ruling the galaxy. He was determined to find these Dark Force users, but he still did see an opportunity to leave the employ of the Stor family.
More then a year after being freed, an assassin was sent to kill Hima and his son. The assassin dispatched the guards quickly and quietly as they made there way to Yginn's room. When the assassin arrived the were surprised by the activation of a lightsaber, the red blade being swung at the intruder. Thrak was also surprised when another red bladed saber ignited and met with Thrak's. The battled only for mintues before Thrak asked who the intruder was, feeling the darkside energy within him. The intruder introduced himself as Rakan Tin of the Sith. Thrak smiled as he realized what was going on, the Sith were going to take back their namesake's Empire. He then turned from Rakan and cut off Yginn's head. Thrak then pledged himself to Rakan, asking him to show the ways of the Sith. The assassin accepted and lead Thrak to the rendezvous with his handler. When they arrived, Thrak greeted the Sith by the name of Renata. Rakan told her how Thrak had helped him kill the targets and wished to join the Sith. Renata saw potential in Thrak and he accompanied them to Korriban, where he hoped to continue his training. Finally, Thrak thought he would be strong enough to defeat the Jedi and at last, he could avenge Andva.

It had been almost four hundred years since the planet Ossus had supported life, the long abandoned halls of it’s ancient Jedi temple lifeless and in ill repair. But deep in the catacombs, the sounds of struggle echoed through the ancient halls. The two combatants dodged and parried as Kel'Amondu watched in secret.
Thrak parried the stab and spun on his left foot, bringing his saber straight up, he then extended his arm into a plunge; the Jedi side stepped left and knocked the saber away. Kel’Amondu watched his apprentice fight the Jedi with great interest, laughing as the Jedi’s next attack was dodged by Thrak. "You have no chance against my apprentice!" Kel’Amondu Yelled as Rayce force pushed his former friend away. "Strike him down Thrak! Kill that pompous Jedi!" he urged his fallen apprentice. Thrak brought his saber to point at the sky and then spun it around himself and slashed at Rayce horizontally, the Jedi jumped back and knocked the blade out and kicked Thrak in the chest, then swiped at the hilt of Thrak’s blade. Thrak screamed in rage and stabbed at his opponent which was parried and another force push knocked him off his feet. Thrak growled at Rayce rising to his feet again, and with all his rage he leapt at Rayce bringing his saber down on Rayce’s head, but Rayce sidestepped and then force pushed Thrak into the wall with all his might, knocking him unconscious.
When Thrak opened his eyes again, he saw his master in a saber lock with Rayce, they were speaking to each other. "Join me Rayce Farelle, as your friend did, and we can start a new order in the universe, you are strong Rayce Farelle, with my help you could be the greatest Dark Jedi ever...Let go of your hate and anger and you could wield the greatest power of all!" But Rayce kicked the dark jedi and stabbed him in the chest. "I would never have joined you..." said Rayce, standing over the dying Bith. Thrak was frozen in place and looked with horror at his dead master. Rayce saw his old friend had returned to consciousness and looked him in the eyes, "It’s ok Thrak, he’s dead. He won't control you any longer." But Thrak shrieked with anger "You killed him!" Thrak grabbing his saber with the force and pulling it into his hands as he brought it down where Rayce had been standing. "Thrak, it’s me, your friend, don’t do this!" But Thrak continued to his assault.
Rayce dodged another strike, knocking the Thrak saber to his left. Thrak swiped vertically, but his opponent dodged, they had been friends so long that they both thought alike. The Jedi blocked another attack and swung his blade at the hilt of Thrak’s blade, cutting the saber in half. Thrak screamed again and unleashed a weak bout of force lightning which Rayce blocked with his saber. Thrak jumped over Rayce and as the fallen Jedi passed overhead the Jedi cut off his leg. Thrak collapsed on the floor. Rayce spoke with tears rolling down his cheeks, "It didn't have to be this way Thrak!" Thrak just screamed in pain. "You were my friend, now look at you, drowning in hate." "I hate you! And I always HAVE!" Yelled Thrak and with the last of his strength, he pushed the only stable support column down at Rayce. The Jedi simply jumped out of the way. Rayce sprung to his feet as the walls started to crumble, he could tell the place was coming down, he tried to grab Thrak, but his body was too far away, so he ran towards the entrance, looking back one more time to see the ceiling come down on his former friend. "Goodbye my friend." Rayce said as he looked back at the rubble behind him.
Race: Human
