The Senate

Well, everybody, it doesn't seem like we're having a really hard time getting things started here, and the only way I can think to fix things is to centralize. And the only way I can think of centralizing the Galaxy is with the Senate. In the senate, politicians can discuss the events on Dantooine, Subterrell, Muunilist, Manaan, Dxun, Mandalore, as well as all the other worlds in the galaxy. These politicians would also decide what goes on in the galaxy. Like where troops go, military decisions, trade embargos, everything.

Like the Jedi council of the Galaxy. Anybody Rping a senator would have immense say-so in galactic affairs as well as be able to control the storyline.

So, in short, we need to develop the Galactic Senate. Which means we need senators. And somebody to be chancellor.

So if you want a lot of RPing, make a Senator. Plus, I'd really appreciate it. Oh, yeah, and the rules for making senators and even the Chancellor are the same as any other civillian. No special requirements. No sample post. Just make it and we'll get things started.

The senator doesn't even have to be from a specific planet. The Sith Empire would have represenntatives in the Senate, there would also be representatives of special interest groups. Trade federation, Banking Clan, etc.

You could just be the Chancellor. That's always fun. Calling extraordindy assemblies and all that jazz. Not that I'm limiting the role to you, just letting everybody know it's open.

Chancellor? Maybe in the future, but I'd like to build the character up before trying for Chancellor.

I'd say go for it. We need a SC to lead and make final decisions. The possibilities of corruption and scandle are nearly endless... lol

The senate is largely an inactive plotline as far as I know/can tell. You have to be willing to spend more time on it than most members are willing. It's not as fun playing a politician as a gun slinging bounty hunter anyways...

Yes I was aware of this fact when I signed on, I want to restart the politics of the site. It has alot of potental to be alot of fun. Do we even have a Supreme Chancleor? But Otherwise I plan to RP alot I have some good ideas. I also have a Dark Jedi Charater waiting to get approved so the best of both worlds
