If their lightsabers don't look like the picture you have here, it would probable be prudent to take the picture down to avoid confusions. If it's just extra ornamentation or w/e on the hilt, it should be fine, or I'd think it would be.

Other than that, I think I'll go on and hand this off to Jace to see what he thinks of it.

Here's my question.

Why is it called "The Magdalene Order"? I only ask because Magdalene, or rather, Magdala is a very specific name. Within Christianity it deals with Mary Magdalene, which Magdalene is Greek for "woman from Magdala", which was a small fishing village with not so pleasant inhabitants. Children being named Magdalene or Magdalena or Madalena to associate naming their child after her (other than something like the parents thinking it's a pretty name alone) and not to be confused with Mary as in the Virgin Mary, Saint Mary, or whatever. It's also a name significant to the Gnostics, largely because they saw her as a more devout follower of Christ than they did any of his Disciplines; and that perspective was further exclaimed by the Gnostic book, the Book of Sophia, which was the Gospel of Mary Magdalene.

Thus far, it's like a name that was tacked on there for no reason. Who or what is Magdalene? Is it a place? It is a person? It's certainly not the founder going by its history. Why call it that at all? Within the mythology you're basing this faction largely from the name's origins is either a specific person or the village the person is from. What's the origins for the name in this regard? Because it's one of those very central key things behind religious orders as the name is an exclamation of what they follow, so it is obvious to outsiders. Because what's there right now is, an outsider asks a follower of the order it's kinda' like: "So you're a follow of the Order of Magdalene?" "Yup, proudly so!" "What's Magdalene? Or who is Magdalene? What does the name mean?" "Huh?"

For creating a religious order, might want to analyze that more than anything, because once that foundation is laid out -- a lot more can flow and branch out from it.

OK, it's names after Hirrer's wife.... it was one of his conditions for giving the money. As it isn't too taxing, they agreed with it.

What's a name when you're going to receive millions and millions of credits eh?
