Bio:
Davidian was born on in the frozen reaches of northern Hallitron-7 where he spent most of his young life. He and his father were skilled hunters and often brought back the most prized meats and pets to their home village. Davidian had always held skills far beyond his age though. His intuition in to the behaviour and tactics of his enemy often aided him gaining the upper hand during the great hunts and he would often be the one to land the precise killing blow on his prey. He was also incredibly strong for his age, capable of hauling logs and other cumbersome objects around where most children would fall flat. His greatest skill though was his expect timing and reflexes. Great woodland traigards (large, feline predators) seemed no great beast of speed when matched against the young Davidian. Perhaps his favourite pastime though was walking. The great northern woods shone with a beautiful crystal sheen which illuminated a fiery orange in the evening sunset.
One night however, the glistening forest hummed not a settling bronze but a fiery red. Raiders and defectors of the Mandalorian Empire had come to loot the planet of it's valuables and take slaves to sell to the Hutts. Davidian's village was ablaze with the sounds of gunfire and screaming. He ran through the darkening woods as the sounds of slaughter echoed past the black trunks. Davidian arrived to a scene of devastation as what few members of the village still remained were cut down where they stood, trying to flee the marauders. The young Davidian came face to face with one of the pirates, who was wielding a bloodied machete and a pistol. He raised the barrel to fire at the child (Davidian was only 11 at this time) before he was quickly shot down from a distance by a plasma pistol.
From the other side of the village, Republic reinforcements arrived to drive back the raid and save what was left of the village. In the chaos and confusion, Davidian wandered haplessly about the fiery wreckage. There, laying bloodied at the door of his house, was his beloved father. He broke down at the site of his body, refusing to leave him. Suddenly, a hand rested itself on Davidian's shoulder. He looked up to find a long snouted man peering down at him through yellow eyes atop his head. Through tears, he looked at the man with great confusion.
"Yousa nevah seen a Gunga before, boy?" The man asked.
Davidian said nothing.
"Meesa Ig-Han Yong. Yousa...need to be coming with us..."
Before Davidian could even speak, a great yell came from behind them as a Mandalorian leaped at the Gungan from the smoke. In a split second, a great beam of green light emerged from Ig-Han's hands, cutting the pirate down. Davidian could not believe it. This man was one of the fabled Jedi Warriors. A second emerald blade emerged from beneath his hand as he impaled the assailant, finishing him off. With the enemy fallen, he turned back to Davidian.
"Yousa....cannot stay here, my child..."
Davidian was flown away from Hallitron-7 on a Republic cruiser on it's way to H'ratth. He spoke with no one aboard save for the Gungan, who took great interest in him.
Little did Davidian know that Ig-Han's former master was also aboard, an elderly human dressed more like one of the ships' crew than a Jedi Warrior. The two spoke in private after two weeks of having Davidian aboard.
"You are sure of this boy, Ig-Han?" the Jedi asked.
"Yessir Kolki. Dissa boy has a strong connection wid da Force. He hassa great potential in him. He hassa been raised well and would not abuse da balance of the Force."
Kolki stopped to think for a moment.
"The tragedy that has befallen him...it will surely scar him for the rest of his life. Vengeance will be with him always and he will be tempted by hate...You know this to be true, old friend..."
"Hmmm...meesa no think so, old master. Boy Davidian's people beesa hunter warriors. Deysa understand da flow of life, da passing of loved ones and da changing of people. Meesa have faith in him. Heesa be a Jedi Knight. Meesa believe it be true." Ig-Han nodded.
As the soldiers of the Republic arrived upon the lush world of H'ratth, Davidian was taken to the Jedi Temple there where the Council there would rule the boys fate.
"The council has decided...this boy is strong with the Force...he carries the mental and physical strength to bare this burden and this discipline...and you shall teach him these ways, Ig-Han. He is to be your padawan...your student in the ways of the Force." They ruled.
As Davidian grew older, Ig-Han learned much of his ways and how different he was from his master. While Ig-Han fought with a double-bladed lightsaber which suited his agile frame and acrobatic style, Davidian's own methods were far more solid. He held a duel-phase lightsaber with a sea-blue blade which he extended to a great length, wielding it like a two-handed claymore. His attacks were heavy and precise but his movement remained little. His lightening reflexes and precision allowed for swift parries and an effective defence though and he was a formidable fighting force, even when stationary.
One day, while the two were sitting peacefully, Davidian posed him a question which he had been thinking about a long time.
"Ig-Han...why did the Republic come to the aid of Hallitron-7...to my village in particular?"
"Well...weesa...well meesa...detected a disturbance in da Force...Yousa must feel it by now, da feeling of something...unique nearby. Weesa come to find you, find your people under attack." Ig-Han answered.
"You came...for me? You did not care for the others?" He asked.
"Dey were too fast, Davidian...weesa could not fight them in time..." his master replied.
"How...how could you leave the others to die in that way! There must always be hope, surely?!" He shouted.
"Yousa think too much of what has happened, young padawan. Let go of your past, do not letsa feeling of loss turn to hate...not again."
"Again?....I was not the first?" Davidian asked.
"Meesa....was a second apprentice...dere wassaone before me...Odirin. He was strong and brave, a truesa Jedi...but heesa grow to hate da suffering in da universe...he turned to darkness.' Ig-Han spoke sagely. 'do not lettadis happen to you, good padawan. Remember always da balance in da Force.
Davidian was lost in thought, he had nothing to say.
But his mind was made, and one day he let it be know.
As Ig-Han travelled to the base camp of a small Jedi group who were investigating the rumours of the Dark Jedi's activity in the area, he was stopped by a deep, shouting voice atop a hill.
"IG-HAN!" Davidian yelled. His brown, stonewashed robes were burnt and charred in places and appeared blackened by ash and soot. His face was dirtied and his expression intense.
Ig-Han looked up in confusion at his beloved apprentice.
"You spoke of balance to the force..." He yelled
"Meesa did..."
"There must always be balance...always a light and a dark, a day and a night...life...and death." he yelled.
Ig-Han said nothing but he could feel the disturbance before him. He shook his head in despair.
"No...Davidian...yousa...yousa cannot break da balance in da Force!" Ig-Han yelled.
"I do not break it, great master....I restore it!" From behind him, an old face emerged. Odirin came forth, robed in black, leering down at his successor.
Davidian drew his lightsaber which hummed not a beautiful cerulean blue but a bloody, angered red.
Ig-Han had no choice, he drew his double-edged lightsaber and prepared to battle. Odirin merely watched from the hill as master and apprentice battled for dear life. Ig-Han could not believe it, he could not bring himself to kill his great Padawan.
"Davidian...meesa sorry....meesa failed...in bringing balance to za Force...meesa failed in bringing balance to you." He sighed. He lowered his head and accepted defeat. Davidian stopped for a moment and thought through in his head his next move, the move that would change his life forever. His mind was made, he would bring balance to the Force...He would inspire fear and terror that would demand the attention of the Republic and of the Jedi. With a downward thrust, he ended the life of his beloved Gungan master.
Davidian left then with Odirin and became a Dark Jedi Knight. By the time the other Jedi had reached the hill, the sun was already set and nothing remained there save for the fallen body of Ig-Han, a great and noble Jedi.
Davidian questioned his existence for some time after that, questioned how he could truly bring balance to the Force. The answer came to him with sudden deceleration which swept the entire galaxy, not in word but in the Force, the Sith had returned. Relieving himself of the chaotic Dark Jedi ways, he went his own way, travelling with smugglers and rogues to Ossus, one of the new foundries of the secretive Sith Order. There he was welcomed by the dark brotherhood as a Sith Knight.
Davidian's purpose, as far as he saw it, was not to be a malicious or sadistic villain who took wholly pleasure in inflicting pain and spreading ruin. He merely sought to bring balance to the Force by inspiring fear and terror in the eyes of those who felt had become complacent and decadent.
Lightsaber: Davidian uses a duel-phase lightsaber, meaning the blade can be extended or retracted to suit the user. Davidian wields his with a great length and, combined with the elongated handle to suit two-hands, wields it like a claymore.
