Mmk, I'm not the best at editing images, but imagine, if you will, a black tattoo that runs across his face, over his eyelids. From there, in both directions, it goes behind his ears, down his neck, onto his arms, and ends in a crescent shape on the back of his hands.
Kaven is attractive enough. Some might even call him handsome. He's fairly tall and well built. His skin is tanned, from a great deal of time spent outdoors. He often has a warm smile, and a kind voice, one that betrays the cruelty that lays within him. Kaven's eyes are a stunning emerald green, and contrast quite sharply with the black clan tattoo that runs across his face. A long, jagged scar runs down his right arm from shoulder to wrist; he got it on a mission. He keeps his hair in dreadlocks, and those are usually kept behind his head to keep them out of the way.

Bio:
Years 0-10
Kaven was born into the Valli clan on the world of Kiffu. The clan was small, and due to this, it was very close knit. His uncle, Evos Valli, was a Jedi, and had returned back to the clan at the news of Kaven's birth. It was not too long after that it was discovered that Kaven possessed the psychometry ability- the ability to read the memories of past events left behind on inanimate objects. It was an ability that was rare outside of the Kiffar, and even within the Kiffar, only about one out of every hundred possessed the ability. Even so, once the tests were run, it was found that Kaven was not Force sensitive, though he could still learn to control his natural ability.
As the years passed, Kaven grew to be a good child. He was kind, and friendly. He learned quickly, and was was growing to be a healthy child. All in all, his parents were very proud of him, and he liked that. So, in almost everything he did, he would strive to please his parents, and often succeeded. Great things were expected of him, and much like his uncle had been before him, he was growing to be the pride of the clan.
But that would change. Not too long after his seventh birthday, his younger sister, Meira Valli, was born. All of the attention that Kaven had been so accustomed to enjoying was suddenly taken away, and shifted on to her. This was a bit disconcerting to Kaven. After all, why focus so much on the girl who hadn't even done anything? He was an intelligent young boy, and the adults of the clan wasted time swooning over some newborn that did little more than sleep an cry. Evos returned at the news of her birth, and a miffed Kaven sought him out. Evos told him that that was the way things went when a new child was born, especially in a clan as small as theirs. He told Kaven that even though he may have felt like he was being ignored, he was not being overlooked, and he was still very important to the people of the Valli clan. During Evos' visit it was discovered that Meira also possessed the psychometry ability. That made three from the clan that had the ability, a rarity indeed. And, to add to that, it was discovered that Meira was Force sensitive. This angered Kaven quite a bit. Why was it that she would get to use the Force, when he was older, and, at least in his mind, better than she was? But the rest of the clan was quite happy, and Kaven, who had been a focal point of pride for the Valli clan, was now overshadowed by a young child. After some time persuading the clan, Evos was allowed to take Meira to be trained as a Jedi. Before they left, he reminded Kaven the clan still loved him, that he was very important to all of them. But the damage was done, and Kaven would never quite be the same.
Years 11-18
Kaven started to change throughout his teen years. He was still the same kind boy with warm words when in the presence of others, but inside, he was a completely different person. Bitterness ate at his soul, and he did nothing to stop in. In fact, he only fed it, and that icy wind of bitterness began to grow into the open flame of hatred. Even as time passed on from the birth and departure of his sister, she was still often the subject much talk and praise within the clan. It seemed to Kaven that he had fallen into the background and was nothing more than an ordinary boy. This was true, to an extent; much of the attention he had received before Meira's birth was gone, but that's not to say he was ignored. But Kaven's mind was beginning to grow a bit twisted, and his view of reality with it.
As he grew, one of the elders of the clan started to teach him how to control his psychometry ability, rather than have it happen randomly, as it had been to Kaven for some time. He grasped it quickly enough, and by the time he was fifteen, he was fairly proficient with the ability. In fact, he started to use it in ways he shouldn't have, and often tried to find ways to intrude into the business of other people. Of course, he was caught once, and reprimanded quite severely, but that didn't stop him. No, after that, he just made sure he didn't get caught.
Kaven continued to grow, and in his distaste for his sister, he started to seek out more information about the Jedi Order. As he learned what he could about them, he started to despise them. They were revered throughout the galaxy, both for their abilities with the Force and their prowess in battle, yet to Kaven, they seemed to be nothing more than a bunch of pacifist philosophers that were only formidable because of their connection to the Force. That irritated Kaven quite a bit. Why were the Jedi held as some of the greatest beings in the galaxy because they had a special power, when others like himself went ignored? And his sister would grow to be one of those Jedi. Oh, how that rankled so. As the years passed, and the fires of hatred grew in his heart, his ire also started to turn to Evos. After all, this was all his fault. He was the one that had come to find out that Meira was a Force sensitive. Rather than be proud of the fact that his clan had two in it that were Jedi, Kaven started to hate it. And in his hate for the Jedi, he decided that he would find a way to kill them, and swore to himself that he would be the end of Meira.
Luckily for Kaven and his goals, the times were ripe for such action. Rumors had spread that the Sith Empire was recruiting men to fight, and Kaven knew from the first time he heard the rumor that was what he wanted to do; it would help him reach a position where he could reach his goal of killing Jedi. So shortly before his eighteenth birthday, he fled from his home and stowed away on a ship that was heading into Sith territory. From there, he hitchhiked until he ended up at a Sith military academy.
Years 18-25
Kaven's time at the academy went a bit roughly at first. He was in good shape, and grew to be a fairly go shot, but for some reason, he just didn't fit in as a normal soldier. He wasn't terrible at it, per say, he just wasn't very good at it. Perhaps in frustration at the thought of his dreams slipping away, he started to grow a bit more violent. There were a few time during his stay at the Academy that he got into scuffles with the other men there, but that faded after a while. But he continued to do his work, though his promotions were few and far between.
As time passed, Kaven grew more and more hopeless. He'd be stuck as a grunt forever, and he'd never get his chance to go after his sister and uncle. Missions came and went, and as his hopes fell, so did his performance. The slow progress he had been making through the ranks stopped, and he was, for all intents and purposes, stuck in a rut.
Everything changed on one fateful mission. Kaven was with a small team sent to take down a man that was believed to be feeding information to the enemies of the Sith Empire. They made their way to him, though he was defended by hired mercs. Even so, they pressed on, and the group ended up being split. Kaven was the first to reach the man, and the two fought. The informant was a great fighter with a sword, and though Kaven could hold his own, he took a bad hit to his right arm, and would have been killed were it not for the timely arrival of one of his squadmates, who disabled their target with a few shots to the leg. They took him to an abandoned building, and once Kaven's wound was taken care of, they set to trying to break him. At first they weren't having much success, until Kaven decided to step in. He used a great many different techniques, each more cruel than the last, until the man finally broke. The team got the information they needed, and Kaven killed the man with a shot into his head. They returned to base, and the information that Kaven had been able to get lead to the discovery of a whole ring of people feeding away sensitive information. Thanks to Kaven's work, the ring was broken, and everyone in it executed. Kaven received a promotion, and was awarded a medal for his work.
Shortly after that, Kaven was approached by an officer from the Sith Empire's Office of Military Intelligence. They were quite pleased with his work, and offered to train him to be an Interrogator for the Empire. Kaven accepted the offer, finally happy to have something that he was recognized at being good at. And so he was trained in the ways of interrogation and torture over the next few years, and one thing became apparent rather quickly. He was good at it. Very good at it. Perhaps the anger that had hid within his heart during his youth was what led to it, but he excelled at inflicting pain on others, and even seemed to enjoy it. As he went out on more missions to extract information from unwilling clients, he started to move up through the ranks again, and earned some more medals. But sometimes, he'd just torture prisoners that had been taken. Not to get information from them, but for practice, and because he just enjoyed breaking a person. And as he got better and better at what he did, his performance in areas that weren't related to torture picked up, and he became a rather respected soldier.
Years 26-29
Time kept passing, and Kaven kept torturing, always wanting to do better in the hopes of being assigned to one of the squads in the Empire's anti-Jedi department. As he got better and better at it, his methods became more and more cruel, and he seemed to draw more and more pleasure from it. In fact, his comrades started to fear him a bit, because he always had the same warm smile and kind voice that he had as a youth, and if one didn't know him, it would be nearly impossible to know the real nature of the work he did. But he seemed to turn into a completely different person when carrying out his work; he often giggled at the victim's pain, and would not stop with his work, even after the information needed was given. No, the only point where he would stop would be when the victim was broken, an empty shell of their former selves, or when they were dead. It depended on his mood, really.
His opportunity to prove himself came when he went on a mission to investigate rumors of a defected soldier that fled to Nar Shadaa. He and his squad went undercover, and the hunt began once they arrived. They found the defected soldier without too much trouble and killed him, but he had a friend they had not been expecting to find: a Jedi that had left the Order. Fortunately for Kaven and his squad, the Jedi had left before reaching Knighthood, and was not fully trained, but the fight was still hard. Two of Kaven's squadmmates fell to the Jedi, and Kaven took some injuries, but he was able to gain the upper hand with the use of a sonic detonator. It shattered the Jedi's ability to focus for a moment, and Kaven and his remaining comrade disabled him and took him hostage. They took the Jedi back to the small room that they stayed. Once there, Kaven left his teammate to go find the ingredients that would be needed to make a poison to keep the Jedi unconscious long enough for them to take him back to base. Once he had found them, they were mixed together and administered to the Jedi through a shot. After that they left to headed back to base.
Once there, the Jedi was held prisoner, and Kaven asked for special permission to be the one to interrogate him. It was allowed, though he would be overseen by a more senior interrogator. The first thing Kaven did was put a Force collar around the Jedi's neck. Then, he discovered that without the Force to use as a crutch, a Jedi is very much like a normal person. He had a lot of fun breaking the Jedi, and once it was done, the Jedi was nothing more than a shell of man that babbled incoherently to himself.
After that incident, Kaven was promoted once more to his current rank of Sergeant First Class, and was awarded another medal. He continued his work over a few more missions, and continued to perform very well. One day he was approached by the Office of Military Intelligence again, and informed of a very special opportunity. An anti-Jedi squad was being assembled, and his skill with breaking the minds of people would be quite helpful. The chance he had waited for over ten years had finally been presented. He accepted without hesitation, and is now a step closer to finding and confronting his sister.

"Now I'm going to ask you one more time where you hid that datapad," Kaven Valli said calmly. He was conducting an interrogation, as he often was, and knew that his question would get no answer. A Duros lay restrained on the table in front of him. The Duros had a datapad of information that Kaven needed for his mission, and was being a bit difficult. But that was okay, Kaven rather liked it when prisoners that had to be questioned decided to be difficult; that made things so much more... entertaining.
"I don't know what you're talking about," the Duros screamed, while Kaven started to heat the end of his vibroblade with a lighter. "Hey," the Durose said when he spotted Kaven's actions, "what are you doing with that?"
Kaven just smiled and started to whistle tunelessly as he continued heating the blade. It was one of his favorite techniques, and often lead to some rather amusing reactions."What? With this? Oh, nothing much, really." After a few moments, when the end of the blade was starting to glow from the heat, Kaven stood and walked over to the Duros, who had started to make some incomprehensible babble noises in begging Kaven not to hurt him. With a smile, Kaven plunged the hot end into the Duros's thigh. The scream that tore from the Duros's throat was like music from the finest orchestra to Kaven's ears. "Now, friend, I'll ask you once more: where did you hide that datapad?" He pulled the vibroblade out, and the serrated edge of it tore at the Duros's flesh, which led to another scream and whimpering. Unfortunately, nothing the Duros said made any sense. Perhaps even worse for the Duros was the fact that Kaven knew where the datapad was. He had found it on the way to the interrogation, hidden under a tile in the floor that the Duros had failed to cover up adequately. "I'm sorry my friend, but screaming doesn't count as an answer." With that, the heated blade went into the Duros's left forearm.
The screaming grew louder, and the prisoner thrashed around on the table, though his restraints kept him from going anywhere. Kaven laughed softly at the Duros's silly thrashing and babbling, and pushed the blade in deeper.
"Wa-wait!!!" the Duros managed. "I put... I put it in the- th-the wall!" His breaths came, slow and ragged. "There's a... hole in the wall... the one brick that's different than the others... it's th-"
"Nope," Kaven said as he stuck the blade into the Duros's shoulder. "Forgive me if I don't believe you, friend, but, well... I don't believe you" He took the blade out and drew his lighter again, to start heating it up again. "So, I'll give you one more shot before I move on to some more... entertaining methods." Kaven smiled warmly at the Duros, as if he was offering him a friendly drink.
The thought of anything worse than what had been done to him seemed to be enough impetous to provide the correct information. "It's under a tile on the floor. The... eighth one from the door in the middle of the hallway... it... just lifts up, and the datapad is there."
"You mean this datapad?" Kaven said as he pulled the datapad out of his backpack. The smile that crossed his face went from being warm to sadistic, and he laughed a bit. The Duros's face grew taut with rage as he watched the screen light up and the information displayed.
"If you already had it, why the hell did torture me?!" he screamed at Kaven, his blue face getting darker.
"Thought it would be fun," Kaven said as he walked over to the table. The Duros looked as if he were about to speak again, but didn't get the chance to. Kaven plunged stabbed the blade into the Duros's throat, and the blue-skinned man died on the table. "A shame that one broke so easily," Kaven muttered as he went about gathering his things. "I had hoped to have a bit more fun with him." He glanced at the body out of the corner of his eyes. "But oh well, that's the way it goes." With that, he put his backpack on and left the room with the body still laying out on the table.
