Name: Rineko Tylaos
Race: Mon Calamari
Age: 12
Height: 5'4
Weight: 120 lbs.
Appearance: Some might say he's tall for his age as he slowly reaches the height of the average human. He has salmon colored skin and a scar on his left eye. He wears a lightly tanned tunic covered by a dark brown hooded robe with sleek and shining dark brown boots though he rarely wears his robe as he feels it is uncomfortable.
His eyes shine silver under large amounts of light but stay a black color when under a lower more average light. He oddly look with both eyes in a single direction which is uncommon for Mon calamari which look in two seperate directions with their eyes which would give a must larger field of vision, yet he strangely prefers this way. His hands are slightly more flexible then other Mon Calamari most likely because of his temple upbringing and the constant training in the basic lightsaber form.
Personality:
Ri is quiet and tends to keep to himself. He believes that as long as things are peaceful it doesn't matter how long it takes before he becomes a padawan. He has great confidence in the idea of a strong master choosing him as a padawan even though he has been master less for so long and is slowly nearing the age where he can no longer be taken in as a padawan. He is very intelligent and also very caring for others.
Smiling just at the thought of seeing the people around him living peacefully. The idea of war bothers him greatly, but as a Jedi he knows that if it comes down to it he must help keep order in civilization so that peace can be restored. He looks up greatly to the older Jedi in hopes that one day he can be like them.
He feels troubled at times knowing that he is a Mon Calamari, yet not knowing anything about them other then that he can stay under water for long periods of time and looks like a kind of fish. Though he worries about it he feels that it's better to put exploring the Mon Calamari race on hold till he finishes his training as a Jedi. At times he gets over worried about his Limited knowledge of the Mon Calamari and finds it hard to ignore it leading into him at least trying to learn even the slightest bit more about his own kind. Ri believes a well rounded understanding of the force will allow him more balance also, but does not focus much on such things.

Bio:
Born to two poor loving parents in the slums of Coruscant away from a proper hospital the birth was difficult the sound of an Mon Calamari screaming out in pain inside of a large crate must have been a great pain on the young infant's father who slowly awaited his child to come out of his beloved. As the child slowly ejected himself from his mother's body he remained silent moving slightly as he approached the opening that would lead to the outside world and his future. The boy's father puts his arms out waiting for the child to fall into his arms with a smile on his face as he told his wife to hold on just a bit longer. A infant boy fell into his father's arms as rain began to pour onto a crate in a dark alley on the world of Coruscant. The boy looked at his father his vision blurred, the world around him a mystery as he was covered in a kind of goo or ooze of some kind as it did not feel or seem like blood in any way. Mother and Father embraced their newborn child with smiles on their faces.
He was not named by his parents but by a passerby that thought the boy would become something great one day. He ended up being raised in a poor lifestyle, Ri parents taught him to steal for survival so that he may live another day and become strong enough fix all the problems that had been pushed onto their family when they came to Coruscant to start a new life. Five years would pass of the child becoming smarter and more advanced for the sake of survival. He could speak Basic and knew a bit about other languages not being extreme fluent in them like he was in basic of course. The awkward times when things would fall off the table of the the young boy would suddenly jump and catch it rather quickly with a strangely high level of speed for a young boy. Or when something went flying at the boy he reacted rather quickly moving out of the way.
One Fateful day would change all that as a five year old Ri lay crying after falling to the ground a Jedi and Padawan passed by sensing something in the boy as a crate fell to the floor and the boy suddenly moved out of its path not wanting to be hit by it, yet he was unexpectedly quick to react as it had barely itched off from its place and began to fall when the boy moved. A Old Master approached the young boy asking him where he lived the boy agreeing to guide the gentle man to his home. This man's hands were warm to the touch. He felt calm around the old man as he opened the door to his home and greeted his parents introducing the Jedi to them. The man asked if he and his Padawan could take the boy and check his Midichlorian Count. "If everything goes well the boy would be assured a happy future." Is all the man had to say as his parents hesitantly agreed. Jedi and Padawan took the boy with them back to the temple to proceed with the check up on the boy Midichlorian Count.
Their arrival at the temple was a quick one as they walked over to a republic vehicle and got inside. The Padawan was allowed to drive while the Old Jedi Master explained what was going on to the young boy. It was difficult to understand the word seemed to scrambled inside his mind going in one ear and out the other confusing him even further then he had when the Old Jedi first started to explain what was going on. Listening to everything with little understanding they arrived at the temple. As mentioned before hand the young Ri would be undergoing a Midichlorian Count check once they got inside. As he walked up the steps to the temple he felt kind of scared of what was going to happen next surrounded by strangers the same way he felt the first time he left the house the first time told by his parents to steal food. As he had Walked through the doors of the temple he kind of felt tired added to the fact of how scared he felt he slightly blacked out nearly falling asleep as he walked.
Entering the medical room after a short walk through the various hallways of the temple the Old Master began the Midichlorian Count check. It only took a small amount of time to get the sample but it would be a few minutes before the results were ready to be checked. Ri who expected it to be painful and awful saw it was nothing more painful the a slight pinch of the skin. He was relieved, yet still did not understand what was going on around him. As then Old Man's hand gentle touched the boy's hand he led the young Ri to a room in which he would sleep as the men went to make him a official Youngling of the Jedi Order. It only took a few minutes for the Old man to get the five year old boy accepted as a new youngling. All that was left was to inform Rineko's parents of his acceptance as the boy was guided around the temple to see his future. The Old Jedi called on his Padawan to ensure Ri was properly showed around the temple. He was shown every aspect of a Youngling's everyday life. The training, meditation, and many other aspects. It didn't take long for him to settle in.
The things his parents had taught him for survival had seemed to slip away from his memory completely without even a single memory of his parents as in his training he had learned more then he ever did before and found it difficult to remember anything from his past except his entrance into the Jedi order. Trained each day he would see the other Younglings around him and wonder if they remembered their parents. It had been two years since he was taken in by the Jedi Order, and yet it felt like two centuries as he couldn't remember much of his past at all. After a while of thinking he finally realized he didn't care much for his past at all, So he continued to learn and grow. Continuing to forget and continuing to grow stronger in the force. Stronger and Faster. An understanding of the world he achieved from his various teachers. Constant training in the Shii-Cho lightsaber form with all the other Younglings. He was just like any other Youngling, But felt completely different.
There was something awkward about him he didn't really want to play and joke around like the other younglings. It was as if he was searching for something he was missing every day. Maybe he just wanted to stay alone away from the other younglings at times. Or could it have been that he was confused and frustrated by something. He himself didn't know what was wrong he was just like every one else when it came down to daily training and the way he acted, yet he felt strange. Everyday he would look at the other younglings and wonder what it was. Was it his appearance? Could it have been the way he preferred to be more quiet and calm then the others? Yet the young boy found it was better for him to find peace by making himself feel more free from the others.
Time passed more years of learning how to center himself getting hints from older Jedi in how to find more peace in himself. Most of them suggested meditation which the Young student of the Jedi looked into. He found meditation a good way of centering himself with the force although all he thought at the time was that it was a good way to make himself feel at peace with the other Younglings.
Years passed till he was finally old of enough to become a padawan. It seemed none of the masters or the knights wanted to choose Ri as there padawan it was strange but the council told the boy that with time he would find a proper master if the council did not find one for him before he did that is. 2 years passed till he was officially 12 years old, though he was slightly disappointed he had not yet found a master he still felt fine where he was currently knowing that it wouldn't take much longer for him to get a proper master. He did feel a bit sad that he would not yet be advancing to the next stage of a Jedi's training, but he was still as mentioned beforehand fine as he is.

Like walking on shards of glass a murky aura surrounded him as his master left the room to contact he council. It was as if something had entered the room the moment his master left. Never having experienced the evil aura of the darkside he was unsure of what he was feeling. His vision suddenly blurred as he got a strange sensation as if a deep fog stopped him from seeing a feeling of being stabbed yet there was no wound. That he could see that is. Now the question was. Had he really been stabbed or was it an illusion caused by the power of the darkside. Without his eyes to guide him how would he discover the truth, this very thought crossed his mind as he stood frozen with a deep seeded fear in the center of his cabin in a ship the republic had given him and his master for the mission. It was a small and rather cold room the bed was like one in the medical room back in the temple cold and hard. The rest was just metal walls with a door and a table with a lamp on top of it by the bed.
Standing alone in the room he stayed still quietly closing his eyes and concentrating on the best thing to do. He stopped opening his eyes as he spelled something. Pausing he tracked the location of where the smell originated from. Waiting for the right moment he lowered his hand to his lightsaber and stood still after he had a good feeling of where it was.
"Who are you and what do you want with me?" Ri asked as he awaited an answer from what he expected to be a sith.
"I'll take you and your master out for the sake of the huge amount of credits going into my bank account..." The voice of the sith stopped. Ri started to think slowly about what he had just heard no sith would hunt Jedi for a sum of money. Who was this assassin who had been able to sneak into his room? Stopping suddenly as the young Jedi struck the unknown enemy presumably a hired gun with his lightsaber which he ignited as the assassin began to speak so to take advantage of the foolish actions of his enemy. The assassin further revealing his location by speaking as Ri had narrowed down the area with the Man or Woman's smell and got the exact location from his or her speaking speaking.
"Who are you?" The boy asked slightly puzzled.
"I won't tell you. All i care about is the money." The assassin said as he lay on the floor with dark uncaring eyes. Walking out of the room he continued down a hall to the command room. Slowly pacing into the room he went to inform his master of what just happened. Though he feared if he had taken the correct course of action or not more then anything else he calmed himself down and explained everything that happened. The room was silent after he stopped speaking as his master told him that he already knew the assassin had entered the area and he would have to meditate on this. Both left the room and went to their individual cabins to rest or for some to begin meditation. Rineko returning to his cabin only to see in horror that the man had killed himself.
