Name:Cadyren Caldin
Race: Human
Age: 21
Height: 6'0
Weight:175lbs
Appearance:
Cadyren is fairly tall for a human, standing at exactly six feet in height. He is broad shouldered and has a fairly muscular body, though he isn’t near as big as a body builder. He has a very dark tan thanks to the time he spent in Tatooine, as well as Korriban.
Cadyren's hair is a dark brown color, though some strands are a little bit lighter. He prefers to keep his hair short, however he cuts his hair himself so that he can send more time training so it is rather poorly done. Sometimes he will neglect cutting his hair to the point that it gets to be a couple of inches long, but that is rather rare.
Cadyren doesn’t care much for what he wears, and as a result his wardrobe consists of only simple outfits. Most of his clothing is lightly colored because he’s used to living on desert planets. He does also have Sith Robes and a dark black cloak, but he only wears these occasionally. While he doesn’t really have a favorite outfit, he usually wears a grey tunic with light brown pants, also wearing a hooded black jacket if the weather is cold.
Personality
Cadyren is an introverted person, he likes to keep to himself and doesn't spend much time socializing with others. He would prefer the company of a good datapad to that of a person more often then not. He doesn't completely block himself off from the rest of the Sith however, occasionally he will interact with some of the others at the temple if he thinks he will gain something from it.
Cadyren cares little for others. Two of the most important people in his life died, and one of them was killed by his own brothers hand. This has led to him having a fear for attachment and also causes him to see the worst in people.
Cadyren's only current goal is to become more powerful. Every other dream he has ever had has failed, and he attributes these failures to his own weaknesses. That was what led him to the Sith in the first place, to attempt to shed his 'chains' of failure.

Pre-Jedi discovery
Cadyren was born on Tatooine to a junk dealer who lived in Mos Espa. He had three brothers and a sister, all of which were older then him. His eldest brother was named Thane, who was seven years older then Cadyren and was often the one that protected him from the twins Den and Natan when they thought it would be fun to mess with Cadyren because he was much younger then them. This led Cadyren to idolize Thane and view him as his hero. Cadyren's sister Arayna, who was the eldest child and was thirteen years older then Cadyren, was not much of a part of Cadyren's life as she was always busy helping Cadyren's mother work around the house and never played with any of her younger siblings.
When she wasn’t doing work around the house Cadyren’s mother did her best to be involved in her children’s lives. She would tuck the younger children, such as Cadyren and the twins, to sleep at night. She would also talk with her older children before they went to bed as well, trying to help them solve any problems they had or to just comfort them if they needed it.
Cadyren's father was a kind man, always trying to get the best that he could for his kids. He did everything he could to have his kids taught everything they would possibly need to survive in the galaxy, from how to read and write to how to shoot a gun properly. For most of the academic lessons Cadyren's father had to pay tutors as he wasn't educated himself, but he did all he could to give his children an edge for when they finally were old enough to face the galaxy on their own.
Even though Cadyren was too young to receive lessons, Thane did his best to try and teach Cadyren everything he learned. Most of it was too complicated for the toddler, but he did manage to learn a surprisingly large number of things from his brother, and remember them. Cadyren’s parents thought this was remarkable, and often praised Cadyren for his intelligence, as well as Thane for being able to teach the young boy.
Becoming an Apprentice
When Cadyren was three a young Jedi came to visit Tatooine to negotiate with a hutt on the planet who was trying to bring some of his business into the Republic. When he was done however he sensed that there were two people strong in the Force and went to investigate.
When he arrived he found that both Cadyren and Thane were very strong in the Force. The Jedi asked Cadyren's father if he could take Cadyren with him back to Coruscant were he would be trained as a Jedi, Thane was angered that he was not being offered to start his training, and yelled that it wasn't fair that his little brother could be trained and not him. Cadyren had never seen his brother so angry before, and he was angry at Cadyren for being offered to be a Jedi instead of him.
Cadyren's father thought for a moment on what he should do, he knew that as gifted as all his children were, and even with all their tutoring, none of them would get very far in life with a junk dealer for a father. He decided to let Cadyren be trained, despite his wife’s pleading for him not to. The Jedi expressed his apologizes and then took Cadyren to Coruscant where he was brought before the Jedi Council to determine if he would be accepted for Jedi training. The Council deemed him worthy of training and thus began Cadyren's new life.
Cadyren would miss his family for some time. He would also feel like he had betrayed his brother, however after a few years he would come to realize that it wasn’t his fault that his brother couldn’t be a Jedi, and that his brother had just been immature.
Life as an Apprentice
Putting his past behind him Cadyren soon began to learn the ways of the Force, quickly learning how to lift object with his mind as well as how to wield a Lightsaber. As a small child Cadyren saw nothing wrong with the Jedi Code he was to live by, and had it memorized after his first year of training. Cadyren's command over certain aspects of the Force came naturally to him, by the time he was seven he was capable of sensing other people strong in the Force who were nearby and was very skilled in moving objects with only the Force. Many of his other Force abilities were considered lacking however, and he constantly trained to improve himself in every way.
Cadyren's lightsaber skills were slightly above average, though their were always apprentices that beat him. Cadyren always felt jealous of whoever beat him in a duel, but the Masters constantly preached to him that jealousy led to the Dark side. Cadyren began to consider just how limited life as a Jedi would be, forced to never give into emotion, always making sure you never gave into temptation, it seemed an unnecessarily hard life to him.
Cadyren had a couple of friends among the other younglings. They were mostly his own age, many of them newer to Temple life then Cadyren, who had been there since he was three. He did his best to help them with their classes, and if he had trouble they would help him too.
Becoming a Padawan
Cadyren was chosen to become the Padawan to Het Lohen when he was nine, a young Jedi Knight who was a great Lightsaber duelist. He met Cadyren in the sparring room where Cadyren had fought and beat a slightly older youngling in a battle. Het was impressed by this accomplishment and walked over to Cadyren, asking him things about himself.
Het and Cadyren talked for nearly an hour, Cadyren telling him about his skills and weakness’ and Het telling him about his adventures as a Jedi Knight. Once they were done talking Het decided that he wanted Cadyren to be his Padawan and got the Councils consent to do so. Cadyren of course was excited to become a Padawan and was happy to be Het's.
Training as a Padawan
For seven years Het trained Cadyren in the ways of Lightsaber combat as well as help him expand on a few of the basic Force abilities. Het never ran out of things to teach Cadyren, as most things Het was great at were some of the things Cadyren often had trouble learning. Het was skilled with creating barriers and increasing his physical capabilities while Cadyren was often praised for his great skill with Telekinetics and his ability to sense the Force in objects and people. Neither of them were skilled in telepathy or healing however so Cadyren remained lacking in both skills.
Het began teaching Cadyren the Shien and the Djem So when he turned twelve, making him work out constantly so that he would be strong enough to use the forms effectively. Het chose these forms because he believed that Shien was more effective then Soresu and Djem So would help him in a Lightsaber duel. Het also taught Cadyren how to identify most forms so that he would have an idea of what he was up against in a Lightsaber duel.
Lightsaber Construction
Cadyren's master decided that Cadyren should build his own Lightsaber when he was twelve years old; he had been Het's Padawan for three years by that time, and took him to Adega to get his crystals. He had Cadyren put together the components of his Lightsaber on the trip from Coruscant to Adega, so he would exit the cave with his new weapon fully constructed.
When Cadyren entered the cave he was amazed by how strongly the Force flowed through it, and could feel the crystals feeding off his excess Force energy in order to grow. He wondered for a moment if maybe he could draw the Force from his surroundings to increase his own capabilities, but then decided that if it were possible he would have heard of many Jedi using that technique. He sat in the center of the cave for a long time, reaching out with the Force to find the crystals he would need to create his lightsaber. His master stood next to him, his mind wondering back to when he retrieved his Lightsaber crystals.
When the Force finally told him which crystals were to be his he used the Force to detach them from the cave walls. He then set about meditating on the crystals, with Hett occasionally visiting to give him something to eat.
When he was done he pulled his newly constructed Lightsaber from his robes and let it levitate into the air, separating into two pieces so that the crystals could be placed inside. Once they were in place the lightsaber then snapped back together with a click and the blade ignited its dark green blade lighting up the cave. Cadyren lifted his left hand and grabbed the Lightsaber by the hilt, smiling at how comfortable the weapon felt in his hand.
As he held the blade he felt a deep connection to it, some would probably believe it was because the crystals were bonded with his Force energy, but Cadyren believed it was because the Lightsaber was one of the things that was his, other then the clothes on his back he didn't really own anything. He often wondered why people wished to be Jedi so much, was power really worth not truly owning anything, even emotions? Cadyren often wondered what type of life he had missed out on by becoming a Jedi. He sometimes fantasized about what it would have been like to grow up as the son of a junk dealer on Tatooine, to live with his parents and siblings, to be able to feel envy and anger without fear of the Dark Side. He also wanted to be able to tell Thane that he was lucky, that it was Cadyren that had received the short end of the stick.
Missions as a Padawan
Cadyren and Het were sent on their first mission together soon after Cadyren managed to build his Lightsaber. They were sent to investigate the disappearance of a politician in Alderaan, which wouldn't be a dangerous mission for a Jedi Knight and his young Padawan. They soon found that the culprit was a rival politician that was trying to keep the victim hidden until the elections for governor of a major Alderanian city were over and the new officials improved law enforcement plan found the man, allowing him to become governor and make the people believe him to be a good leader. Cadyren listened to the man justify his actions by saying that it was for the good of the people, that he was committing a small crime so that he could make the city a better place. Though Cadyren knew the man was a power hungry liar, in order to tell a decent lie you have to come up with something that was plausible, and from then on Cadyren often wondered if the black and white view of the world he had been taught as a child were true or not.
Het and Cadyren went on few missions for the next four years, and none of them were particularly dangerous. Cadyren disliked the fact that he was never really challenged by the missions he and Het were put on, he knew that he was younger then most of the people who became Padawans around the same time he did but he believed he was as capable as them.
Cadyren and Het went on their last mission together shortly after Cadyren's sixteenth birthday. They were sent to Balosar to investigate some reports of a Dark Jedi attempting to unify the local gangs under him. The Council believed it was just a rumor so they weren't worried about sending a Jedi Knight and his Padawan. Unfortunately the rumors were true, and the Dark Jedi turned out to be none other then Cadyren's older brother Thane. Cadyren and Het fought against Thane and his gang, but even a Jedi Knight isn't invincible, and was killed during the fight by Thane, who only managed to stab him because Het was busy making sure Cadyren wasn't killed by one of the many blaster bolts that flew toward them. Het did manage however, to stab one of his Lightsaber into Thane's right lung before he died, nearly ending his life as well. Angered by his masters death Cadyren began to kill the few remaining gang members as they tried to carry Thane away from the fight. A couple of people managed to drag Thane onto a ship and he managed to escape, though he nearly died and his gang had been all but destroyed by Het and Cadyren.
As Cadyren began to walk through the bodies in search of his masters he found a wounded member of the gang, and demanded him to tell him where Thane would be headed. At first the man wouldn't give him an answer, but when Cadyren lifted him up into the air with the Force and began to choke him the man was quick to tell Cadyren that Thane would probably go to Tatooine, he created a Temple to teach some of the gang members in the ways of the Force. He told him it was near the old Jedi Enclave on the planet.
When the man finished Cadyren stabbed him in the heart with his Lightsaber, killing him. Cadyren looked at the corpse for a moment before resuming his search for his masters body. Once he found it he closed his masters lifeless eyes before lifting his masters corpse and caring it to the ship, making sure he took his Masers two Lightsabers as well. He then set a course for Tantooine, the whole time plotting on how he would be able to kill his brother and his apprentices.
"Then I guess I'm not a Jedi"
Once he left hyperspace and neared the planet, a member of the council contacted him, asking him what he was doing. Cadyren then explained that Het had been killed and that he was going to kill Thane. The Council member told him that he was letting his anger control him, that it wasn't the Jedi way. Cadryen responded by saying that perhaps being a Jedi wasn't his path, and turned off the ships communicator. Once he had entered the planets atmosphere Cadyren turned off the autopilot, using the Force to locate the Temple. It took him a few days to find the Temple, but with help from the Force and a few locals he eventually got the location.
The temple was like a small a fortress, with sentry guns and members of Thane's gang guarding the entrances. Cadyren activated his ships weapons systems and fired the main blasters at the temple, and managed to destroy much of it by the time he passed over the temple, but the sentry gun nearly shot down his ship as well. Cadyren decided that he would rather die with his saber in his hand then being shot down by a ship and landed behind a hill that was close to the temple.
Once he got out of the ship he traveled to the top of the hill, where he saw a seven people get out of the partially destroyed building. He could hear one of them give out commands to the other six, and watched as they split into groups of two and begin to run at him from different angles, two groups moving to the side in an attempt to flank him while the third group charged straight at him, all of them wielding swords instead of Lightsabers, he saw the seventh figure waiting near the house, who held a blue Lightsaber in his hand but made no indication that he was going to join the fight.
Cadyren charged the first group jumping in the air with the Force and landing behind them, the first one fell to his saber as he spun around, slicing his head off. The second one fought him for a few strokes, but he was a novice of the Shii-Cho fighting style, so his moves were predictable, and Cadyren's violent strikes quickly cut him down.
Cadyren then fought the other four apprentices, who were all novices as swordsman and Force Users, even when compared to Cadyren, though when they were able to surround him they managed to wound him. Cadyren's affinity for Telekinetics helped him much in this battle, as he managed to push some of the apprentices away from him so he wouldn't have to focus on as many enemies. When the battle was over Cadyren had a few cuts from the swords but had no serious injuries.
Cadyren then approached the figure near the ruined house, which was Thane. Without a word the two fought each other, each one doing everything he could to kill the other. Despite training since near birth in how to use a Lightsaber Cadyren was unable to break through his brother’s defense, and was eventually disarmed by his older brother. As his brother brought his Lightsaber crashing down towards Cadyren's head he used the Force to rip it from his brother’s hand, breaking one of his fingers in the process. Cadyren then slammed his open palms into his brother’s chest before channeling the Force through them, sending his brother flying backwards; he made sure that one of his hands rested on his brothers wound to cause him more pain.
Cadyren then retrieved his Lightsaber before walking toward his wounded brother, who was gripping his chest in pain. Cadyren stood before his brother for a moment, savoring his victory. Thane took advantage of this, getting to his knees and firing a single bolt of lightning from his hands, which hit Cadyren square in the chest and sent him stumbling backwards. Thane then used the Force to retrieve his Lightsaber and attempted to stab Cadyren. Cadyren however dodged the saber and cut off both of his brothers hands with one quick swipe from his Lightsaber. Thane then begged Cadyren to spare him, asking him to remember how nice he had been to him as a kid. In response Cadyren cur off his brothers legs, causing him to howl in pain. Reaching out with the Force Cadyren began to choke his brother as well, causing the now limbless Thane to squirm about as he slowly died.
Finally avenging his master Cadyren wondered what he should do now, there was no way he could go back to the Order now, and he was just a kid so he highly doubted he could get job. He walked into Temple to see what exactly Thane had been teaching his students, and ran across a datapad that served as Thane's journal.
Thane left Tatooine in search of someone to train him how to use the Force, and found a Dark Jedi who accepted Thane as his apprentice because of his affinity with the Force. Both of them wanted to be as powerful as they could be, so they went to Balosar, where they then began to bring together some of the gangs under them, either due to Thane's natural affinity with telepathy or by killing the leader. Thane's teacher taught Thane much about the Dark Side, how to create Lightning and other various abilities, which were all written in great detail.
Cadyren then went on to read that shortly before he and Het went to the planet Thane killed his master, turning on him while they fought against a rival gang leader and his bodyguards, he taking his master Lightaber off of his corpse. Thane then became the leader of the gang. He created a temple on Tantooine so that his apprentices couldn't be killed or turned by the other gangs;
In the last entry Thane wrote that he had heard a rumor of the Sith Order being on Koribban, and that he planned to go their to get more training. Cadyren was curious about this Sith Order, wondering if he should try to get join them as well, seeing as he couldn’t be a Jedi any longer. After awhile he decided that he would, seeing as there were few other options for him. Unfortunately when he returned to his ship he found that the Hyper Drive had been damaged and he would be unable to travel to Korriban with it. He decided that he should try and get a job so that he could get enough money to travel to Korriban.
He sold his master ship in an attempt to get the credits he needed, but unfortunately due to its damage and his lack of knowledge in how much ships were worth he got a lot less then he probably should of. He still didn't have enough money to travel to Korriban so he got a job working at a droid repair shop for a few months, the man who hired him was kind enough to hire him in spite of his inexperience, and taught him how droids were built and how to repair them. He became somewhat attached to the old man and was good friends with his daughter, Elain, who became interested in him after he saved her life from somebody had tried to rob the shop. They became a couple, and even though he was happy with her he was also confused as what he should do.
When Cadyren finally had enough credits to travel to Korriban, he wasn't sure if he wanted to go. What if the Sith weren't really their? Was he really willing to leave behind his job and his first love in hopes of becoming more powerful? The answer became clear soon enough, one day when he was off doing errands another man attempted to rob the store, and he shot Elain on his way out. Cadyren returned in time to watch Elain die. he hunted down her killer and brutally murdered him, using the mans own blaster to shoot him in each knee cap before impaling him with his lightsaber. He knew then that in order to protect the things you cared about you needed to have power, if he had been more powerful he would have been able to sense that Elain was in danger, and if he had been more powerful maybe Het might still be alive
Life goes on.....
Cadyren fell into a depression after Elain died, and he became unsure of what to do with is life. He eventually quit his job and left the settlement, everything there reminded him of Elain and he thought it would be best to try and forget her.
He couldn't afford to leave the planet, but he managed to get transport to Mos Entha. It took him awhile to find work there, but eventually got a new job as a swoop bike mechanic. He knew enough about machines to fix most problems, but sometimes his skills proved to not be up to the task.
He kept the job for a few years, working during the day then at night he would practice with his lightsaber or train his Force abilities. He trained because that was what he had done all of his life, and he felt that it would be a waste to abandon his studies even though he was no longer a Jedi. He found himself leaning more towards telekinesis, which was a skill he as already proficient in, and increasing his physical abilities.
Both of those skills proved to still be useful to him, despite the fact that he wasn't doing any dangerous missions anymore. When no one was looking he might use telekinesis to try and reach things that were out of his reach, or to move really tiny pieces of circuitry. With increasing his physical abilities he found it easier to move around swoop bikes and other heavy things, even though he was already strong.
With some of the money he made he bought a blaster, he wanted to keep his lightsaber usage to a minimal so that he didn't attract any attention from the Hutts, who he didn't think would like having a Jedi on one of their planets. He would practice using it sometimes, and became a decent shot.
Cadyren mostly didn't socialize much with the people of Mos Entha, and was known to be a bit rude and mean to people that did try to talk to him. Sometimes complaints would be sent to his boss, however the complaints were never to bad.
Cadyren was forced to leave Mos Entha after a client and him got into a fight. The client had been drunk at the time, and had gotten fed up with Cadyren's comments. The two got into a brawl, and Cad easily overpowered the drunk.
Cadyren went into a rage, and continued to beat the man after he had already given up, the sound attracting Cad's boss from his office. He began to yell at Cad, but he didn't listen. when he tried to grab Cad however, the young man threw him to the side and sent him flying backwards with a telekinetic push.
Cadyren's boss flew right into one of the swoop bikes that was in the garage, the force of the man hitting the bike breaking the chains attached to it and sending both the man and the bike to the ground. The bike landed on top, crushing Cad's boss.
Cad froze when he saw his boss's body, and was sure that he must have been dead. Cadyren quickly ran from the scene, stopping at his home to collect of his belongings, namely his lightsaber and his brothers datapad.
Cad had enough money to convince a pilot to take him off planet, and managed to leave before the authorities caught up with him. He then made his way to Korriban, deciding that he would investigate the planet that his brother had been interested in. Plus the planet was owned by the Sith Empire, so he wouldn't have to risk being arrested or found by the Jedi Order.
Life as a Sith
Cadyren became the apprentice of a man named Grawn shortly after joining the Sith, he was a Sith Assassin that had decided that Cadyren was worthy of being his apprentice. He taught Cadyren the basics of Force Stealth in his first lesson, forcing Cadyren to play the most dangerous game of hide and seek he had ever been in. Grawn told him that if he found Cadyren he would kill him, and then gave Cadyren thirty minutes to get some distance between the two of them. In the end Cadyren was caught by Grawn, but the assassin told him that he had done well enough that he would allow him to live. The two then returned to Korriban and for some reason Cadyren never saw him again.
Cadyren also traveled out to the Mid Rim to attack some political leaders on Naboo. Instead he encountered a young Jedi around his age. The two engaged in combat, and while at first it seemed that Cadyren had the advantage, he decided it would be best for him to leave the planet before the local authorities arrived to assist the Jedi.
For the next year Cadyren trained himself in the art of destruction and studied at the Archives inn the temple. It wasn't until late into his 21st year that Cadyren met Nieraan, who took Cadyren on as his apprentice. Cadyren hated the man, but his desire to learn the ways of the Force was greater then his hate, so Cadyren decided to become his apprentice regardless.
RP Sample:
Cadyren was walking through the shop, taking inventory to see if anything had been stolen. He had heard a customer say something about a thief going around town, and he was worried that he might try to steal some of the droids and sell them for extra credits. As he was counting through a pile of Power Cells as man with a black cloak walked into the store, his hood covering his face. Cadyren didn't notice the man at first, but through the Force he could sense that something was wrong.
He looked around the store to see what might be causing the disturbance, when the man reached the counter and pulled a blaster from his cloak, aiming it at the shop owners daughter, Elain, who helped Cadyren run the store when her father was busy elsewhere. The man's voice was almost casual as he made his demands, as though he wasn't scared at all by the fact that he was breaking the lawGive me all the credits you have in this place or I'll blow your head off.
Cadyren wasn't going to let this thief steal from the man who had given him a job, and he certainly wasn't going to let him kill the mans daughter, so he moved through the piles of droid parts toward the man, letting the Force flow through him in preparation for the bloody murder of the hooded man before him. I suggest you put the gun down.
The man turned to Cadyren, keeping the gun pointed at Elain, who was shaking her head at Cadyren, though she was too scared to verbally tell him to stop talking before he was killed. The man laughed at the Cadyren, probably thinking he was one of the dumbest kids he had ever met. Don't try to be a hero kid, you'll get yourself killed. sure you got some muscle but I would gun you down before you even got close to me.
Cadyren gave the man an almost evil smirk; the fool thought that he could kill him. That's going to be hard without a gun.
The mans mouth, which was the only part of his face that was visible due to the shadow of his hood, frowned in confusion, but only for a moment. Cadyren ripped the mans gun out of his hand with the Force and it flew off into a pile of junk near the back of the store. The man looked at where his gun lay, probably trying to figure out what had happened. When he finally realized what was going on he ran for the door, but Cadyren propleled himself into the air and landed in front of him, blocking his way. Unlike most men who knew they were about to die the hooded figure didn't beg for his life, and out of respect Cadyren ended his life quickly, snapping his neck with the Force.
Cadyren looked over to Elain to see if she was alright, but she only gazed at him in horror, Why did you kill him? He was trying to run away!
He's a thief, and he threatened to kill you. Don't tell me you think someone like that deserves to live. Cadyren countered, he felt no regret for what he had done, the man had tried to steal from people he cared about, and threatened to kill one of them as well, and Cadyren would sooner die then let someone who did that get away with their life.
You DID kill him, so does that mean you don't deserve to live either? Elain then asked, Cadryen didn't understand why she was upset, the man was planning to steal from her fathers store, not to mention threatened to kill her. Shaking his head Cadyren went back to work, Elain just stood their for a moment, then asked So where did you learn to do all of...that stuff you did when you...you know....killed the thief.
I used to be a member of the Jedi Order. My master Het was a great man, he taught me many things about the Force, as well as how to use a Lightsaber. He was like a father to me, and when he was killed I did everything I could to find and kill his murderer. The Jedi disapproved of course, so I'm no longer welcome in the Order, but I didn't care. I always found the Jedi Code to restricting to me. Cadyren explained, frowning as he remembered his masters death by his brothers hand.
Surely it was better then this, going on adventures all the times instead of working at some junk shop like this. Elain asked, her scared look now replaced by curiosity, and a little bit of pity as well, she and her father were really close and she couldn't imagine what she'd do if he died.
Cadyren laughed, it was almost sad how great people believed the Jedi to be, sure they had a couple of fancy tricks but the amount of restrictions made so you weren't even allowed to enjoy them.Being a Jedi is not all that it's cracked up to be, I actually enjoy working here more then being a Jedi. As a Jedi the only thing I ever owned was my Lightsaber, everything else belonged to the Jedi Order. Now the clothes I wear, my job, and my emotions are all mine, and now that I have all this I'm not going to let anyone take it away from me.

Bio:
Cadyren then went on to read that shortly before he and Het went to the planet Thane killed his master, turning on him while they fought against a rival gang leader and his bodyguards, he taking his master Lightaber off of his corpse. Thane then became the leader of the gang. He created a temple on Tantooine so that his apprentices couldn't be killed or turned by the other gangs;
