Description:

Kara was raised by hand by a Dewback farmer. She was originally unnamed and was purchased by Zee’s father Asch for her 17th birthday. Zee was immediately taken to the dewback, and now doesn’t go anywhere without Kara. Kara has grown to love Zee over the years of inseparability. During mating season, like any dewback should be, Zee releases Kara to mate and Kara returns shortly thereafter, eager to be with Zee once more.

Kara: Deeeeewback! A nice, peaceful break from all the nexus, to be sure. Only a couple related qualms.

Dewbacks have the approximate intellect of a cow. 5 intelligence is your average dog, so this would have to be a REALLY smart dewback. Same goes for loyalty with the same comparison.

From the few moments I've seen them make, I would say that agility is simply something they don't do. Even 4 seems gracious. Assuming this is a standard dewback, not the dwarf variety or anything.

Description:



Hylo is a rare white feathered raven, originally from the planet Dathomir. She was the only bird in her nest to have been born with this white coloring, and it ended up being the reason she was separated from it. The nest was found and she, while still very young, was taken with the assumption that her rare coloring would fetch a high price.

She was sold to a pet store on Coruscant. The owners paid a good amount for her, but figured they would make a profit. The young bird didn't interact very much, and spent most of her time sitting around, occasionally letting out a caw or two. When she wasn't being watched she would play with the toys left in her cage, but as soon as eyes were on her she did little more than sit there.

Customers were not so impressed by the raven's white feathers, or the fact that she seemed very inactive and for lack of a better term, boring. Her coloring was also still not enough to sway the opinions of those who knew that ravens were often associated with death and ill omen. Overall, customers were just not drawn to her. So there she sat for months, with the owners lowering her price every once in a while, hoping they could at least break even on their investment.

Finally they did, when Jedi Master Teer Ka brought a despondent Jia Suutrar to that pet store, searching for a pet for the young Padawan to help lift her spirits. Jia was drawn to the bird, and the bird drawn to her, showing her first real signs of interest and liveliness by interacting with the Mirialan. Jia could feel a connection to the bird through the Force, and that was the day the young avian found its master. Jia named her Hylo, a Mirialan name.

Since then the Force connection between the raven and Jia has been slowly growing as the girl spends time training the bird and caring for her. It would seem Hylo has become fond of the Padawan as well. She is often playful with the girl and already loyal enough to stay by her side, sit on her shoulders, be held, petted, and not fly away.

(( Edit: Just upped loyalty a couple of points due to the bond the two have through the Force, but didn't put it up super high because the bird is still young. ))

Description:


On unique occasions Aeia travels to her the two home worlds of her heritage Kuat and Aphithir, largely out of a sense of grounding in seeing and even experiencing to a degree of the two cultures that lead to her very existence. Almost two years ago, she traveled to Aphithir, and one a street corner outside a food market shop a peasant boy was selling several huohu out of a box. It was likely one of the few means he had to earn money so he and his family could have some extra income to live off of given the despot regime of Aphithir giving little in the way of opportunity to their "peasant class". So, Aeia taking pity on the boy, bought one of the cute little huohu cubs for a few times more than he was actually selling them.

She named the little cub 'Keai', and he has since been a quite faithful little companion to Aeia. Her quarters at the temple looks some like a cross between a workshop and greenhouse, because of her constant projects as a Jedi Artisan, yet she often adds large and sturdy plants and small trees for Keai to climb all over and to much on the leaves. Highly curious and playful, he must see what Aeia is doing whenever she is working on a project, and then attempt to distract to get her to play with him, something Aeia often finds quite endearing.

If the little guy is out and about with Aeia, he is certain not be too far from Aeia's heels.

Description:

Siqsa

Siqsa is a massive, three headed Battle Hydra. He is one of the rare few that grows more than two heads. His skin is crimson in hue. He has a long body that ends in a powerful tail. Two large wings emerge from his back that permit flight. His four legs are all very strong and they end in wicked claws capable of easily dismembering his opponents. He is able to stand on the back two legs and strike with the front two.

Personality wise, Siqsa is much like his species in that by nature he is shy and mostly passive if left to his own devices. If it weren't for his species affinity for Dark Siders, he probably would have nothing to do with Callidus. However, these creatures were engineered to be manipulated by Dark Siders. Under Callidus' will, Siqsa becomes an entirely different beast, filled with rage and ready to wipe out anything in his path.

Callidus may ride him via a specially made saddle, but more often than not he sends Siqsa out to serve almost as a shocktrooper. Due to Sigsa's passive nature when not hungry or controlled by Callidus, Callidus tends to keep him in an enclosed aviary until Callidus has use for him.

Other: All Akk hounds are Force Sensitive - making them bond more with their masters and are more readily tamed and controlled. Due to his force sensitivity and long term exposure to Callidus and Dark Side locations, Chirikyât has become incredibly twisted and mallicious.

Description:

Hask

Hask is a massive creature to say the least. Akk dogs are already the size of landspeeders, and Akk wolves are even bigger than them. He is of a prominent red hue in coloration down his segmented, thick skin. Several vestigial, but wicked looking horns emerge from his head. His eyes are large and bulbous, mostly purple, but have begun to yellow from the center due to dark side corruption.

He is incredibly aggressive, partly due to the nature of Akk Wolves, and partly due to his corruption. He is most commonly seen guarding whatever estate Callidus is currently residing on.

Other: Vornskrs can sense force sensitives and track them. They are especially aggressive towards force sensitives because they mistake them for their natural prey. Asha and Derriphan have been highly trained though and log term exposure to darksiders like Callidus have begun to twist them to be more aggressive and vicious.

Asha and Derriphan are Vornskrs of the sleek black variety. They are large creatures both hulking, yet elegant as well. These two were bred on the Magnus-Solo estates for size, strength, and aggressiveness. Like all Vornskrs they have poisonous tails filled with a potent neurotoxin capable of stunning entirely or at least locally, most opponents.

Derriphan is larger and more territorial, while Asha tends to be more protective and focused on Callidus. They have been trained to not see Callidus as prey and Callidus' tendency to reduce his presence in the force helps this a great deal. However, they have retained their aggression towards other force users, especially since their tails were not cut off. This makes them more unpredictable than Callidus would like, but he keeps them as protection against other force users, primarily his Sith opponents who would have easier access to him.

Why These and So many? Callidus has vast resources at his disposal as both a Sith Lord and a wealthy individual. However this is not the primary reason. Callidus is fascinated with Force Sensitive creatures and creatures with affinities for the Force. Thus he seeks to collect and study many of these various species. Those that he doesn't "study" might become his pets and guardians depending on their natural tendencies. He almost never has all of them together, mostly because Hask and Siqsa are so large, however Asha and Derriphan tend to follow him around.

Telka is incredibly territorial and is almost always starved for when someone gives Raka a bad deal. Telka does not know that Raka is her master and has even tried to attack the Hutt a few times but always failed. So you're cool with this, disregard the previous comment on loyalty Like all Acklays, Telka is able to see in the dark. Should mention that acklay are near sighted here too Because of this, her chamber is pitch black so that she can hunt and kill her prey without much danger. should mention 'unarmed prey', given Obi-Wan fended off an acklay with a stick in AotC
