Battle for Ordo

So... what is going on? It seems that we have folks operating on several different wavelengths here, so it may be time to talk about getting everyone back onto the same track.

Since I can't read everyone else's minds, I guess I'll start by summarizing the track Dire and I have been going on in this thread. I guess we've been alluding to thing but I suppose we haven't made everything explicitly clear, so I apologize for that.

Anyways, the way we've been seeing it, in terms of land forces, neither the Mandos or the Sith have a larger force than the Republic. Of the two, the Sith have more, but if they actually brought enough to take the planet themselves, then they probably would've targeted somewhere else, like a different planet that they would actually get to keep afterwards, as opposed to handing it over to the mandos.

So the original plan was that the Republic troops would hit the Mandalorians first, almost overrun them in fact. Meanwhile the Sith, having been taking out a few auxiliary targets during that time, would appear on the other side and together the two would crush the Republic forces between them. Anyways, that's the basic gist of it.

From the looks of it now it's going down the opposite way, with the Sith taking the brunt of the initial assault, and the Mandos acting as the cavalry, which I guess could be interesting too. But I wanted to see if everyone was actually on the same page before proceeding.

Hmmm. Odd... personally I haven't had the Sith do anything outside of land on Ordo and prepare to march on their respective targeted base. Who's taken out auxiliary targets?

Think it was... a couple weeks ago, or maybe it was last week. Jake and I talked a little bit about getting the battles into full swing, sense people aren't really posting very frequently, and thus just diving into things to get the thread progressing faster. So it doesn't continue to drag on its feet.

Stuff like the speeder base that was mentioned in the last post to take out republic air support, instead of retconning everything in the previous post.

Yeah, I'm at a loss. Um. I guess... role with it, unless they want retract what they wrote. XD I think Jake in his next post with Mand'alor'e'ade'e'e'e is going to be having the Mandos attacking the Republic in full swing or something. I think I remember him saying that last we talked on the subject a week or two ago... Unless I'm imagining things. >.>

Hence the proposed alteration where the roles of the Sith and Mandos are somewhat reversed, wherein the Sith are the one who get bloodied while the Mandos are the cavalry. Might even move things faster that way.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. I have a Sith Regular Army on ice waiting to be approved. If this thread has not gotten too far into the good stuff I would be glad to jump in and help move things forward. Or I can hang back and catch the next one. I will leave it up to you.

So.... since no one's responded to me in the general Mando plot discussion thread, thought I'd pop in here.

I know I originally signed up for this and then had to back out. But I'm back now, and am just wondering if it's too late for Ambria to jump in somehow. (Not sure what she was originallly supposed to be doing in the battle).

If it is, I understand; I'd just like something else for her to do if she can't get involved in Ordo. Even if it's something simple that's afterwards and elsewhere. (It'd be better than cooling her heels on Concord Dawn).
