Name: Rame Shanoka
Race: Twi'lek
Age: 30
Height: 2.5 meters
Weight: 250 lbs.
Birthplace: Ryloth
Appearance: Rame is large for his race, a meter taller than the average Twi'lek, as well as a great deal heavier, though much of that is muscle as opposed to fat due to his rigorous body-building ethic. His skin is rough in texture and grayish blue in color. Being one who has been through a great many battles, his skin also has it's number of scars. His twin lekku are long and thick much like himself.
Rame's attire usually consists of a black tunic and boots, and light brown pants and robe, though he course removes the robe for battle.
Personality: Despite his tough physique, Shanoka is a jolly sort with a smile almost always on his face. He is easy going and very approachable. He loves to kid the Padawan learners, as well as his fellow Knights, though never intentionally hurts or insults anyone. He's the big guy with the big heart and has a true love for life, at peace and strong in the Force in his own special way.
However, his upbeat and sometimes comical personality does not cause him to stray from his duties on a mission. He knows when to be serious in battle, and tends to try to use the Jedi's vow of compassion to comfort others in times of great sadness.

Bio:
Childhood:
Rame Shanoka was born on Ryloth, but spent only five years there before he was found by and delivered to the Jedi by a once wealthy family who had fallen upon hard times due to Shanoka's father's addiction to cantina Sabacc Tables during his travels around the Galaxy.
Rame was a bit reckless when he first came to the temple, displaying the comical personality that all there would come to know him for early on. However, the near unlimited patience of his instructors focused this aspect of his personality and taught him how to use it to help accomplish and preserve peace in the Galaxy.
Training:
As Rame grew older, he rigoruously built his body to possess great strength. This aided him in becoming skilled in the Shien style of lightsaber dueling. He was also taught to use his strength to his advantage, making his body very much one with the Force in battle. He also became skilled in the use of telekinesis.
Aside from Force and lightsaber training, Rame became fluent in both Twi'leki and Basic. He also continued to focus his friendly personality to aid him greatly in peaceful negotiation. Some of the his fellow Padawans began to joke that he could not only talk a Rancor out of making him into a meal, but could probably talk the beast into preparing him one.
His master and primary trainer was a human named Roan Heff, who took on Rame as his Padawan learner at the age of 53. Roan was much more serious in attitude than Shanoka, which made their relationship most interesting, and a bit rocky at times. But a strong respect developed, and remained until Roan Heff's death three years after Rame was Knighted.
Trials and Knighthood:
At the age of 23, Rame was given the rank of Jedi Knight. He had already gone on a number of missions as a Padawan, though was mostly there for observation.
Trial of Skill: Many thought Rame's fun-loving attitude would hurt him when he took on the Grand Master. However, Roan Heff had been particularly teaching him when to be at his most focuses. The teachings, along with Rame's growing strength, helped him outlast the Grand Master in a lightsaber duel.
Trial of Courage: During this trial, Rame was sent with Roan Heff on a mission to the planet Binaros. As with most of his Padawan missions, Rame assumed he was only there to observe at the most. However, he soon found his courage was tested when he and his master confronted and overcame the planet's carnivorous plantlife, as well as Dark Jedi who was hiding there. Rame and Roan managed to run off their enemy following a long saber duel. The scars Rame received in this battle also allowed him to pass the Trial of the Flesh.
The Trial of The Spirit was by far Rame's toughest trial as he had to fight the inner-demons that reminded him of his father's failures. Ever since he had left Ryloth, he was reminded of them and inflicted with the paranoia that he would fail as a Jedi. Through intense meditation and encouragement from his master, Shanoka eventually realized that he was not his father and that part of his life was long behind him.
The Trial of Insight had Rame decipher the High Riddles of Dwartii. Rame himself loved to come up with riddles and games for his fellow Padawans, but this was more challenging than he thought it would be. However, as with all the Trials, he succeeded through focus and patience.
Missions:
His first mission as a Jedi Knight almost meant his death as he enraged the Hutts on Tatooine. Rame had never seen another Twi'Lek enslaved before and was appalled by the Hutts' treatment of a prized dancer named Eyla. The Hutts captured Rame during the attempted rescue and intended to make him food for a "pet" Krayt Dragon. Rame defeated the creature with the aid of his former Master, Roan Heff, and actually managed to use his negotiation skills to convince the impressed Hutts to let Eyla go for a hefty fee.
A second significant mission for Rame Shanoka was when he was sent to aid in the battle in the Jedi Temple at Rhen Var. While this was a significant event for all Jedi in general, it remains forever in Rame's member as the battle where he lost his old Master Roan Heff. Though Shanoka knew that the Jedi way was not to mourn the fallen, he still had difficulty as Roan was the first being close to him to die. It was quite some time before he once again became the light-hearted and fun-loving Rame Shanoka that the other Jedi were used to him being.
RP Sample:
Rame found himself in another fix with the Hutts, and Roan Heff, the Jedi Master who had accompanied him to Tatooine, was not happy as they resided in the Hutts' palace dungeon.
"The first time it was the Twi'Lek girl," sighed Heff. "This time you had to stick your nose in a Pod Race."
"Oh, you know me, Master Heff," laughed Rame, who always seemed to be jolly in times of great danger, though knew full well when to quit with the shenanigans. "I hate seeing a good Pod Race tainted by a cheating champion."
"That cheating champion was the Hutts' current favorite," said Roan. "And the Hutts made a large bet on him, and that lost that bet thanks to you. We didn't come here to reprimand a Gran Pod Racer for poor sportsmanship."
"Calm your anger now, Master," smiled Rame. "We completed our mission at Mos Espa. I just thought an extra good deed was in order. After all, we did help the new champion feed his family."
"And most likely helped ourselves be fed to a Krayt Dragon... or worse a Sarlaac Pit," said Roan. Rame didn't respond, but was busy looking about. He grinned again when he located a secret exit, using the Force to open the hidden door.
"There's always a secret exit," laughed Shanoka. "I wonder if the Hutts knew about this when they acquired this palace. Then again, why would Hutts wish to explore their own dungeons..."
"Let's go!" sighed Roan.
"Right behind you, Master Heff!" Rame continued to find humor in the situation as they departed.
