[Bespin] Old Friends, New Enemies

Harder times and harder work was all that the crew of the once mighty "Oracle" really knew. Their last job had left 7 of the crew soldiers dead on some back woods planet called Hoth and had left the crew leader in a very low mood. The mission was just supposed to be a simple pickup and drop off but as they were off loading the cargo on Hoth the offload crew was ambushed by a very well trained group of private soldiers. The battle was intense and of the 19 crew that had gone down only 12 had returned, of those 12, 3 were in critical condition. This left a sourness among the crew and worst on Shawn cause now his crew morale was low and with the 3 needing medical attention an unanticiapted stop was going to have to be made.

Being as not many of the outter rim planets had top notch medical facilities Shawn had to make a very hard decision. Either the ship could go towards the inner rim and alot of trouble for Shawn or they could go to Bespin for the sought after attention and morale boost that was needed. Having to explain to his crew the situation it was clear that enough blood had been shed so it was decided and the ships course was altered to the bearing of Bespin. It was a matter of minutes after the change was made that the ship jumped to hyperspace towards Bespin.

It was just a few hours later that the ship dropped out of hyperspace before the gas planet of Bespin. Already with a shuttle loaded to go with the 3 injuried men and several others to go it was clear this was going to be quite a quick landing. Launching as soon as landing codes, hull codes, and bay were established the shutle was pointed down.

In a matter of about a half hour of silent travels the shuttle landed and medical teams laid to it. Offloading the injuried personnel they disappeared rather quickly, no transactions occuring between the other members of the landing party and the medical team. Of the landing party Shawn was there and dressed just like the others in armor plating and cloaks though some of his officers were their in normal ship clothing.

Disembarking from the shuttle now the men dispersed to go their own ways for a bit, Shawn and one of the other men going together to roam the streets of the Gas Operation City where they were. During their wandering Shawn and the trooper both discussed the next move they should make and such. While talking they were finally stopped by a vender to take a look at some of his fruits he was selling.

Of course with the trooper carrying a blaster pistol on his hip and a heavy repeater on one shoulder and Shawn with a blaster pistol and lightsabers hidden under the cloak it was clear to this vender they had money of some sort so getting them to stop he began to discuss the diferent fruits with the 2 men. It was shortly after Shawn and the other trooper departed from the stand both munching on some sort of fruit from the inner rim along with beginning to discuss the crew next move again.

A tall armored man stood proudly at stairing at the XS-light freighter. The loading Crews where loading the dangerous Tabana Gas into the ships cargo hold.

The pressure of the landless Gas Planet Had made no difference to his landing several Hours ago and now Zett was happy just looking off the Platform at the Massive orange Colored Clouds.
To him it seemed as though that one cloud would blend into the next making as far as he could see look like one big cloud.

The cargo was finished early before his takeoff was ready, so he decided to explore the Tabana gas Operation. But before leaving he decided to double check the Cargo seals on all the cargo, to find they weren't sealed at all. but to him it looked as though they where encased in some type of metal or rock. Then he remembered that the Planet had a process of Freezing there cargo so as to protect it from exploding. Once satisfied at the cargo being safe he turned and walked down the ramp Bringing his Black Protocol Droid 'Shadow' With him Whom wanted to come along and take reference of the planet and file it, Zett agreed and the two of them where off.

Zett passed a Droid maintenance room and knowing the first place he wanted to go the droid would most likely not be welcome.
Liston bud, I'm heading to the Cantina first, how bout you hang around here for a while?
"Yes sir." The droid said contemplating the Oil bath he could get.
Zett as if knowing what the droid was thinking, this was partly because Zett had programed and build the droids years ago and had spent a full year with him now. Go ahead, But don't tell any of the other droids you got an oil bath they'll be jealous.

Zett chuckled as he started off from he droid. he found the Stations Cantina When entering he found it was more of a clean Cantina as most of the people who lived on the station also worked there, and the owner didn't want any riots.

The quiet little song the Band was playing was coming to it's end as he walked to the bar to order his drink. His favorite was going to be to alcoholic to be sold in a place like this so he settled for an Alderaanian Ale and i nice big Juicy Nerf Steak.

Upon taking his first bite was reminded of his two trips to Alderaan where the Nerf came from, and the ale was made...

Walking a bit further Shawn and the trooper beside him finished their treats they had bought before feeling a bit dry in the mouth. Discussing a bit it would be fate it seemed that would lead Shawn and his friend to a cantina several blocks away from where the space port was. Looking about a bit the two continued talking about things that had happened as they assed through the doors. The light air as they enetered filled with a light music and nice scene was a perfect place for the two of them to sit down and get a decide ale and a small real meal.

Shawn, taking a look around a bit at the faces, finally pointed out a table near a window that was empty. Taking slow strides over to the table the two would remove cloaks and blasters to be set aside before sitting down at the table. Now cloakless Shawns smiling older face looked a bit more joyful than the first meeting between Shawn and Zett and as he felt uplifted more by the light music that brought some peace to him. Looking to his friend they began to talk more now about how nice it will be to finally take a break once they finish the last job that they had heard of, of course when the crews morale is up from this last setup that left them broken and strayed apart.

Finally, after about 5 minutes of talking a server finally made it to their table. Smiling they both order the house ale along with a simple meal off the menu. Smiling Shawn slipped the female twilik a small credit bonus in order to take her time and make sure they got plenty of time to talk and relax in the cantina since this was one of the last stops for them before getting back into the field.

After several minutes he finished his drink and meal then the waitress came and asked if there would be any thing else.
No, think you vary much.
He stood getting up from the table and continued to the door when he saw a familiar face, The name came to him a few seconds later 'Shawn'. Zett thought about the time when he met him nearly two years ago.

Zett was on the far side of the room and began slowly making his way to his old friend.

Talking with the soldier friend of his Shawn couldn't help but laugh at something that he said. It had been a while since him and this friend had gotten to realy sit and discuss things but as they were now it was rather relaxing. Yawning a bit Shawn stretched out against his seat before noticing someone comming up towards their way. This made Shawn uneasy for a moment before he felt a very familar sense about the man and as he approached he made a jesture towards him. "Thats someone though I bet you remember. Please take care of him..." Shawn gave a small smirk in the soldiers direction before smirking to Zett as he approached.

It was only a moment later the soldier was whirling around with what appeared to be a blaster pstol in his hand. Coming right to aim at Zett the man grinned before holstering the fire arm and smirking, hoping it gave him a startle. "Its been a long time since I saw your face...I thought Shawn wasn't joking till I saw your mug." Smirking the man sat back down waving a hand at Shawn in disgust. "I hate you Shawn...so much." The man said laughing waiting for Zett to take a seat as he came closer. If Zett looked closely he would notice the soldier was the same one who so long ago spoke to him on their journey to the space port some 2 years prior when they had saved Zett from his attackers.

The blaster was pulled on Zett, Zett took a step back and almost quick drew his own wester before noticing the prank.

My ugly mug?...look who's talkn''. How ya' been? Zett dropped from his stance and slid into the table bench, Been a while. Zett checked his chrono timer on one of his gauntlets before giving his full attention to the group.

When the waitress came by to ask for the orders Zett passed it onto the other pirate whom he recognized as the one who had talked to him before, Already ordered and finished.
