Name: Aldar Natadare
Race: Echani-Zeltron Hybrid
Age: 14
Height: 6'0
Weight: 170
Appearance: Aldar is a unique specimen, being a child of a Zeltron mother and an Echani father. His appearance is very human-like, only his pink-hued skin, red eyes, and silver hair setting him apart from the average human. His facial features are angular and symmetrical, and his eyes are very expressive. A quick gaze into his eyes and it is very easy to read Aldar' s emotions.
Aldar's body is lithe and slim. He is very flexible, some have even commented that his body type is more of a dancer than a Jedi. But do not let looks be deceiving, Aldar has a naturally powerful build and his long, siney muscles hold much strength.
Aldar is also a little tall for his age. This is because he hit his growth spurt a little earlier than the other Padawans and Younglings.
Personality: Aldar has a very affable manner. He is very friendly and making is something that comes very naturally to him. His emotions can be seen in his very expressive eyes. His Force aura radiates friendliness and it tends to put others at ease, especially if the encounter is personal or intimate.
With Aldar's friendliness also comes sensitivity. He is a very sensitive boy and has a hard time dealing with conflicts because of this. In a duel, Aldar can block out this sensitivity. He tries to compensate for his sensitivity by not letting anyone see him be hurt, he puts up a facade of that allows his to seem like he is unhurt, but a look in his eyes, or anyone with the ability to feel his emotions in the Force could tell that he is actually hurt.
Aldar has a love for learning. He loves to read about history and loves to expand his knowledge of the Force or improve his ability with a lightsaber. When he receives a criticism on his abilities he tries to spend more time on that ability and hone his skills.

Birth and Capture: Infancy to 3
Aldar was born on Alvorine, a forest planet in the Outer Rim. Possession of the planet bounced around from being a member of the Galacitc Republic to being annexed by the Hutt Empire.
Aldar was born in a very small settlement far from Alvorine. Aldar’s immediate and extended family mainly inhabited the settlement. They were sustenance farmers and had very little money. Aldar was the first-born child of his parents. He has very little recollection of his parents because of how early he was taken from them; he can only recall the feelings of warmth and love.
A memory he will likely never forget happened only a few days before his third birthday. He was outside playing in the yard, while his family was working on the farm. He remembers hearing the screams of his family and the feeling of loss he felt when those screams were extinguished, he was feeling their deaths in the Force. The Hutts were sending mercenaries to capture members of his family as a payment for an over-due debt.
Next he remembers the cold insides of the ship. Aldar was very young, so he was not used to being in ship. Slavers had captured him, and some other members of his family. He didn't know what was happening, or why his family had been killed, or where he was taken to; all he knew was that he was afraid.
He was transported to Alvorine City, where he was transfered to a freighter that was bound for Nar Shadda. There was a very healthy slave trade on Nar Shadda and a young child could be sold for a healthy price. Be it to odd perverts or to someone who just wanted to raise a servant from youth in order to break and them and then assure loyalty and proper training.
He had been dazing in and out of sleep, when the loud sound of alarms ringing in the ship penetrated his skull. Yells of orders could be heard throughout the ship and Aldar could feel the evasive maneuvers being taken by the ship. After about 20 minutes the ship had been disabled and he could hear the sounds of battle outside of the cargo hold, where he and his family, as well as many others who had been captured, were being kept.
When the sounds of battle had died down, Aldar saw the armored men walk into the cargo hold; they released the slaves from their force cages and gave them blankets. It just so happened that a Togruta Jedi Knight had been a part of the Republic Task Force that infiltrated and attacked this slaving ring. The Jedi Knight sensed Aldar's Force-sensitivity and took him back to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to become tested to gain admittance into the Jedi Order.
Life as a Youngling 3-12
Aldar was accepted into the Jedi and was organized into a clan. From a very early age it could be seen that he excelled in telekinesis and healing. He had no problem making friends with his fellow clan mates. With the years of training together every member of his clan became good friends.
As everyone got older each member of the clan started to realize that they each excelled in different areas. Aldar discovered that he had a knack for telekinesis, something that he could use to wow his fellow Younglings and friends, as well as healing, something not nearly as impressive to his peers. The Force was also able to enhance his natural ability to sense peoples' emotions.
When Aldar wasn't honing his new found skills, he could often be found in the Temple Archives reading any bit of history he could get his hand on. He loved to learn history and it was one part of his classes that he was in the top of his class in. He could sit and read about history all day long and once he read about it, it was usually committed to memory.
As Aldar got older he became more and more worried about being taken as a Padawan. His goal was to become a Jedi Knight and if he did not get chosen by a Knight or a Master to be a Padawan, he would have to join the Jedi Service Corps, putting to rest his dreams of becoming a Jedi Knight and protecting the Galaxy from the dark side.
Aldar trained his skills and fought in duels with other Padawans and was trying to do all he could to become noticed by a Knight or Master. Eventually Aldar was noticed by a Selkath Jedi Master named Hasa Krata. This Jedi Master was a Historian of the Order and went on many missions to find lost and hidden Jedi or Force-related artifacts.
Early Stages of Apprenticeship 13-14
Aldar was so excited to have finally found a master, especially one that also shared his interest in history. Master Hasa believed that the first task of Aldar's should be to build his lightsaber. Hasa believed that if Aldar could prove, at such an early age, that he was able to demonstrate the strength and confidence, as well as willpower, to build a lightsaber that he would make a fine apprentice.
So Aldar set off to Ilum to build his lightsaber. Master Hasa accompanied Aldar to Illum in a freighter that was borrowed from the Order. Hasa would wait on the ship for Aldar to complete his lightsaber.
Aldar set off on this quest alone, he walked out into the cold and unforgiving planet of Ilum and let the Force guide him. The Force was very strong on this planet, and it radiated from the crystal caves. Aldar would follow the Force to the source of this strong presense and it would take him to the crystal caves. After hours of travelling through the relentless and snowy winds of Ilum, Aldar arrived at the crystal caves.
He could feel the Force running through him, and he could feel all the Jedi who came before him and left their impression in the cave. Aldar sat down and began to meditate, he knew very little about how to exactly chose a crystal, so he decided that meditation would be the best way to start, it would guide him to the crystal he should chose.
When Aldar was in the cave he had no way of telling how much time had passed. Eventually, Aldar was led to pick a crystal. It was a mephite crystal, a very common Jedi focusing crystal. It had no special properties that would make it stand out from other Jedi's lightsabers. Aldar returned to meditation in order to find another crystal, this crystal would dictate the color of his lightsaber.
After days of meditation, Aldar was finally led to the crystal, this crystal was very unique. He had never seen a lightsaber this color, it was pink. Aldar took the crystal and gathered all of his supplies and crystals together. Aldar started to meditate on and focus on each crystal. He needed to attune each crystal to himself. Once each crystal was aligned with him, he slowly put the pieces of the lightsaber together and built the casing.
Once Aldar completed his lightsaber, he stood and ignited it. The lightsaber sounded off with the characteristic snap-hiss and then the blade extended from the hilt. Pink light illuminated the cavern. Aldar was overcome by uncontrollable happiness. He finally had his own lightsaber, never again would he have to use a lightsaber borrowed from the Temple.
Aldar left the cave and made his way back to the ship. He reached out to his Master in the Force to locate him. When he finally arrived at the ship he discovered his Master sitting in the cockpit. Even though Aldar was uncommon to seeing Selkath faces, he could tell by Hasa's Force aura that he had back news. While Aldar was away building his lightsaber, Hasa had received a message from the Jedi Council that he was being reassigned from being Aldar's Master, instead he had to return to his search for holocrons, and it was too dangerous to bring a Padawan along.

Aldar sat, blissfully ignorant of the world, in the grass outside of his homestead. His family's farm was situated in a clearing in the middle of no-where on the forested planet Alvorine. A gentle breeze blew across the clearing, ruffling Aldar's silver hair, and caressing his pink skinned face. He was perfectly content, what more could a two year old want?
This serene scene was interrupted by the screams of his family members. Aldar saw people of many different species coming out of a ship that had just landed in the clearing; blaster rifles firing off stun bolts. Aldar got up and tried to run as fast as his small legs could take him, tears streaming from his red eyes, but he was hit in the back by a stun bolt and fell stiff to the ground.
He felt the stun cuffs close on his wrists and was picked up and carried back to the mercenaries’ ships, loaded into the cargo hold, and shipped to Alvorine City. There he, and the rest of his family were brought before Ziba the Hutt. Aldar's family had taken a loan from Ziba in order to buy more land to expand their family farm. Each member of his family was judged individually and taken away. Finally it was Aldar's turn.
"Little halfling boy," Ziba said, licking his lips with his grotesque tongue, "a pretty boy like you will fetch a pretty penny on the slave markets of Nar Shadda." Once Ziba's words were finished a Quarren mercenary came and took Aldar to a ship bound for Nar Shadda.
The ship was cold and it was only made colder by hyperspace travel. Aldar could feel the emotions of everyone in the room; they were all just as afraid as he was.
After a few hours of travel the ship was pulled from hyperspace, sending everyone in the ship shooting forward. Then Aldar could feel the emotions of the crewmembers change from surprise to terror. Orders were blared over loudspeakers and boots could be heard running down the corridors of the small freighter.
Then the battle began, Aldar could feel the turbolasers laying waste to the engines and the power supply, trying to leave the ship helpless. Within a few minutes the ship plunged into darkness, the attacker's had succeeded in their objective. Several minutes later Aldar heard the sounds of blaster fire in the corridor outside the cargo hold, once the sounds of battle died down, the door to the hold slide open and men and women in red and orange Republic armor poured in and freed the captives, escorting them to the shuttle that was used to board the freighter.
As Aldar was being escorted by a female Twi'lek soldier to the shuttle, the soldier was stopped by a large Togruta male who wore brown robes and had a silver cylinder hanging from his utility belt, "I'll take care of this one Asta," he said flashing a smile and then kneeling down to talk to Aldar, "I think you'll like where you're going to be going," he told Aldar his smile reassuring Aldar.
