Jarael was barely aware of his lightsabers lightly hitting his hips as he made his way to an empty training room. He walked into the room and immediately made his way over to a set of training droids and activated them. They buzzed to life and floated in the air, rotating slightly. Jarael closed his eyes and took a deep breathe, opening himself to the Force. it flowed into him with every breathe and washed over him. He felt the other nearby Jedi in the temple through the force, but he concentrated on the orb-like training droids floating around him.
They wouldn't start their assault until he activated his sabers. He took them off of his belt and thumbed the ignition switches one each handle on. A blue blade buzzed into life in his right hand and a green one in his left. Almost immediately after his sabers were activated, one of the droids shot a green blaster bolt at Jarael's chest. He swung his blue saber around and deflected it. Jarael quickly fell into a pattern of swinging his sabers around to block the bolts fired by the training droids. He could hear Master Klon's instructions in his head as he batted away the droids' bolts.
"Keep your momentum up, Jarael. This style of combat requires you to keep moving."
Jarael followed the instructions ringing in his head. Jarael sidestepped a blaster bolt and ducked around another one before sending a blast bolt back into the droid that shot it. The droid hit the floor of the training room, deactivated by its own bolt. Jarael didn't stop though. He kept on his toes and flipped over one of the droids. He landed behind it and rolled across the floor. He got to his feet and took another droid down by sending its own bolt back into it.
He could feel sweat forming at his hair line and running down his face. Jarael sidestepped a bolt, but was caught in the leg by another droid. He gritted his teeth, but kept moving.

The day was still so young and their was time to blow at the temple before heading out to really work. Later in the day the Jedi Master Klon Driviz and his Primary Padawan Jarael, along with other padawans and masters may be working with them. The Kiffar was slightly unclear of his student's location and would have to track him though the force after finding the boy's room empty.
The jedi followed the shimmers left behind though the temple's great halls. He passed a number of jedi as well as agriculture delights until the okay to leave was given. The master finally found him striking down training droids in the Training area before the Kiffar Jedi.
He soon laughed and said "Good evening my young learner friend, but do you think it s wise to use the training program on your own, you should have had a adult on call. But we can let it slide since somebody new may be joining use for today's trainning, okay?" Klon got prepared soon after and said " Report to me when your ready to change up on training.[/b] Like

Jarael felt his Master through the Force right before he walked into the room. He barely heard what his Master said to him. Jarael ducked under the blast shot of the last droid in the air before batting its second bolt back at it. As it thudded to the ground, Jarael deactivated his lightsabers and clipped them back to his belt. He then turned and walked over to his Master.
"I'm sorry, Master. I just wanted to keep myself in shape. Also, I am ready for this new training."
After voicing his readiness to begin the new training, Jarael bowed to his Master. His eyes lifted a little to see his braid dangling in front of his face as he straightened back up. He flipped it back over his shoulder.
(Sorry for the lame post.)

Klon was rather proud to see such a child so eager to learn something new. Klon specifically took interest in this young Jedi in the first place, simply because he sees so much of himself as a Youngling in Jarael. Teaching Klon how to master the finer points of Jar-kai is in some ways Klon's top priority. He walked over to his student with a mild grin present on his face and placed a hand on the Padawan's shoulder and said "We will start your training, with something rather Common among me and my students. You may already know what it is I mean young Padawan."
Sitting on the hard training room floor legs crossed for meditation Klon prompted his Padawan learner to do the same. He feel into meditation rather deeply, to the point that he felt lost on a current of the force. His mind was rather lost, yet at peace to the point where he lost track of time. He after some time broke his trance and stood to his feet and bowed to his student once more before saying " Rise young Jarael, we have much to do today."
" I will start by reminding you that I am in fact a Jedi Sentinel. I was trained to become a shadow growing up as a padawan. But after the death of my master I choose to follow the path of a Jedi Investigator. As a Sentinel we seek a to balance the other two classes for Jedi, the Consulars and the Guardians. The force and combat skills, although most sentinel make the choice to master special skills above other types of skill."
"Like how I have two abilities given by the force but I am also trained as a spy and stealth tactics. So in combat as you know a sentinel must also be very hard to read, unorthodox in combat in order to have some form of advantage. Based on your training it is unlikely you will ever become overly talented in combat or force while on the path of the sentinel, but by having the best of both worlds we have a advantage."
Handing two training sabers to his student as well as taking one for himself the Kiffar prepared for combat and said " Ready yourself young one, you must use the force and your combat skills to clam victory, you must be unpredictable, almost random but with a tune only you can understand. I will teach you as we fight, this way you can practice Jar-Kai and watch a demonstration of Niman at it's best."

Jarael stared at his Master, taking in his words like a sponge does water. He was eager to learn and grow in his both his ability with a lightsaber as well as the Force, so being trained by a Jedi Sentinel like Klon Driviz was perfect for him. He hoped to one day be a respected Jedi Master like his own, maybe even be on the council one day, but that was a long ways down the road for Jarael. At the moment, he was a fourteen-year-old Padawan Learner under the watchful eye of Jedi Master Klon Driviz.
Jarael followed his Master into meditation, opening himself up to the Force as well. He could not sense as much as his Master, but was still able to put himself at ease and concentrate his training. He was brought out of meditation directly after his Master stood. Jarael stood up along with his Master, bending his knees slightly from where he was sitting with his legs crossed for so long.
The training sabers handed to him by Master Driviz felt a bit lighter than his normal lightsabers, but he had gotten used to using training sabers before he was a Padawan. He activated the training sabers and was greeted with the same colors of blue and green as he usually is when he activates his own sabers.
He gave the training sabers a few practice swings before dropping into a fighting stance, preparing to spar with his Master again. He took a deep breath while simultaneously opening himself up to the Force. This time, he waited for his Master to attack first, but remained on his toes, prepared to move when needed.

Klon was slightly interested in the fact that his Padawan had chosen to wait this time, fighting a opponent he knew to be more powerful and skilled clearly did not call for recklessness, but did require a level of tactical skills. The Kiffar could only hope the lad had been laying the foundation for a plan with his hesitation. The effectiveness of his blades in this situation revolved around his timing and planning.
Klon had no intent to make this fight easy, but not hard either. He intended to leave a number of opening and flows in his technique in order to see how well the student could preform. Taking up the meditative Center of Being stance the Jedi master held his lightsaber horizontally, with the hilt just below his chin.
Breathing deeply and closing his eyes as he opened his body and mind to the deepest reaches of the force. The man pulled his power to the surface and focused it though, allowing him temporary sight though the force while his eyes remained closed. Sliding his right foot slightly forward as he allowed a short smile to creep across his face.
"This stance is called the center of being, it is rather relaxing and perfect for meditation as well as combat. By entering this stance before engaging I allow my self to open up to the force and employ it though my fighting on a deeper level."
After the very short lecturer on the nature of his stance the Kiffar's eyes shot open, a premonition of what was to come. With one fleet footed step forward, Klon extended his left arm and called on the force for a moment.
It surged though his body like a lighting bolt though a rod as the compressing telekinetic energy went to a single focal point at the center of Klon's left palm. The energy exploded forward at the padawan with no more intent then to disrupt balance. Even felling a sense of relief as the energy way released and the Jedi master could regain full motion.
The simple fact was that his push was not the essential attack, what followed was. The flowing footwork of the Jedi Master climaxed with a Force enhanced Jung ma spin for a frighteningly swift movement, with incredible momentum. The attack was wide, powerful, yet uncontrolled and wild.
This provided a perfect opening if a opponent maintained sturdy footing although though the genius of one Kiffar he still turns the momentum into a advantage, using it to slingshot himself a significant distance to Jarael's left. In witch case he dropped into a low defensive stance in preparation for his Padawan's counter assault, interested in what the boy will react with the Kiffar felt little reason to be to much more aggressive.

Jarael felt his Master pulling in Force energy upon himself right before it was released toward him in a crashing wave of physical energy. He was unprepared for it, and so had little time to attempt to throw up a protective field of Force energy. He managed a small shield in front of him. His Master's wave of energy crashed through Jarael's shield, but was slowed slightly. The energy crashed into Jarael and pushed him a little, throwing his balance off.
When his Master attacked with the training saber, Jarael was too off balance to put up a defense with his sabers, so he decided to go with the off balance and dropped to the ground. He heard the saber buzz through the air overhead as he hit the ground and rolled away from his Master. He got back up to his feet and launched his attack, hopefully before his Master to regain his composure all the way.
Jarael stayed light on his feet, closing the gap he just created in a few light steps, and then spun around, bringing his green saber in a horizontal slash at his Master closely followed by his blue saber. He hoped the consistency of his attacks would take his Master off guard, if only by a little.

Klon hoped young Padawan Jarael would have something unique or unpredictable up his sleeve, but his fighting styles still so closely tied in with the mindset of a guardian. He was to, basic and unrefined in terms of skill. Although he used the Dagger sized shoto and sword like standard to near perfection. Small blade as a distraction and long blade for the swift decisive finish.
Klon could have let the boy land the attack, but nothing could be learned from a easy victory, but much from a crushing defeat. Looking almost unprepared when his student rushed him, the Kiffar had chosen to dig deeper within the force to pull multiple powers to the surface. He called on the force to "Enhance Attributes" increasing strength, speed and reflexes slightly.
The kiffar perfectly molded this with force speed and battle precognition, though the force he clearly saw his student's next actions. Everything seemed to move slower as he gave himself to the force with these abilities and with little effort he blocked the shoto strike with his own training saber, as well as striding into Jarael's personal space and grasping the boy's right arm to hold his standard saber at bay.
" You just don't get it yet do you? Lightsaber skills is very important, but just as important is the use of the force. Both have limits but together nothing binds them. You must call on the force if you wish to defeat a greater enemy. Do not forsake your combat training and never forsake the force, for nothing protects you more. Use the unorthodox! You can't very well defeat me without being unpredictable now can you?"
After his words the Kiffar had chosen to keep his chain of assault going, pushing against the boy as to stagger him as well as to create space between the two. After he followed up with a chain of somewhat lazy but well timed and well aimed strokes with his lightsaber. after a sparkling display of foot work and about six strikes to leave his young foe unfocused, the Jedi was ready to attempt a finisher. The Jedi master struck quickly from the left horizontally, but before contact was made Klon shut off his saber and suddenly pulled in one of the broken down training droids though the force.
He planned to strike the boy in the upper back with the broken down droid and soon followed with the sudden reactivation of Klon's lightsaber following a stabbing stroke aimed for the Padawan's chest. Klon hoped his student would prove adaptable and hopefully block it, and maybe combine his combat skills with the force to make something unique and unpredictable, hoped the boy would create something of beauty.

Jarael was taken aback when his Master strode into his personal space and proceeded to grab his right arm. He had no time to contemplate what had just happened before he was shoved away from Master Driviz. Jarael stumbled back a few feet. He was barely able to prepare himself before his Master launched an assault. Jarael opened himself up to the Force as best he could.
It allowed him to duck under and dodge some of the blows, but he was struck on the left shoulder and right bicep. Jarael brought his blue training saber up to block the horizontal slash from Master Driviz, but was surprised when he shut his saber off at the last second. Then, he felt his Master gather the Force again. Jarael brought the Force to his own aid as he opened himself up to it.
He sensed the training droid whizzing through the air at his back as well as his Master's stab from the front. Jarael thought quick and summoned the Force to enhance his speed. As the training droid neared, Jarael spun around, dodging it, and gripped it with the Force. He blocked his Master's stab with the droid, then used the Force to grip two more of the broken down training droids and hurled them at his Master's legs.
Jarael dropped his grip on the training droid in front of Master Driviz and launched an assault of his own. He came in with his shoto blade, followed by his standard. He used the momentum of the strikes to spin in a full circle. Halfway through his spin, Jarael gripped the training droid he had used as shield as lanced at his Master as he finished his spin.

((Sorry, real life has been busy, getting ready for college and whatnot, plus I was trying to spend time with my boyfriend before he left for 2 weeks and before I go off to college in a few weeks)
Beep.....Beep.....Beep......Beep
The sounds of the alarm clock blarred through Aldar's head, he had it go off so many times this morning he wasn't even entirely sure it was the morning anymore. Aldar looked up at the clock, his blonde hair unkempt and wild. As soon as he saw what time it was his eyes grew wide.
"Damn it!" Aldar yelled as he lept out of bed. He quickly threw on his pants and boots and ran out the door, shirt and utility belt in hand.
Aldar sprinted through the halls of the Jedi Temple, dogging several people who gave him scathing looks as the half-dressed Padawan ran past.
"Making a great impression, Aldar" he thought, chasticiing himself for sleeping too long and being late for a training session with Master Klon. As Aldar ran he threw on his shirt and strapped his utility belt to his waiste.
Finally, upon reaching the part of the Temple where the training rooms where he walked into the training room that his Master had ordered him to go to. Once he walked in he saw his Master training with a young human boy, probably about Aldar's age.
"Master, forgive me for being so late," Aldar said as he walked in, his head hung in shame. His robes were a mess, his hair was wild from sleep, and his usually pink skin was a much darker shade because of the run through the Temple he just made.

Klon was more then interested in his young student's tactics, he showed impressive growth but many flaws to match. The Jedi master watched the boy carefully, even though his spin and a flick of the boy's arm he had shielded himself with what the Kiffar master intended to use for attack. The jedi was rather impressed but their was no time for prays, for he was training the child to become a jedi, and their was no room for a ego in a jedi's personality. The master simply avoided the fake out with the droids by stepping backwards.
When the Jedi began his violent Jar-kai assault the Kiffar felt some pride mixed with irritation related to the flawed technique Jarael came at hi with. With rather fluent steps and blocking strikes the Jedi master seemed to hold his own without issue. Although Jarael had finally chosen to engage in a more creative manner it was still not a neatly tied together as it could be. Although this was understandable since the boy way a Padawan in combat with a battle hardened Jed master.
The Jedi master simply batted away the last droid thrown at him though his application of the force. The master kiffar seemed as if he was going to lunge into a fresh flurry of attacks until he paused as his sinces reached out around him to discover that the other had shown up. The Kiffar simply sighed and said " Oh was you really not here the whole time? Oh well thats to bad, I need you to sit off to the side for now, I will start your training after I finish this up with Jarael."
The jedi started to loosen up his body and said " Okay, where were we? Lets finish this my young Padawan... It is unclear to me weather you can handle my next saber strike, but we won't know until we try, so lets see..." The Kiffar sprang into Jarael's direction making a mid air 360 degree spin with his weapon outstretched.
It appeared as if the Kiffar would make a simple strike, but that was not the case. Though the force the Jedi had attempted to pluck the lad though the air though the use of a force pull while he used his saber hand to hurl the saber forward at his student, only to land himself and slide under the boy until he could regain proper footing and reclaim his saber though the force.

(OOC: I'm really sorry about the delay. I've been busy. Sorry again. Oh, and I hope this post doesn't seem OP or anything.)
Jarael watched as his assault fell in shards around him. He hadn't even scratched the surface of his Master's defense. He couldn't help but feel a bit ashamed. He fought the feeling off though and prepared for another assault from his Master only to see his Master stop suddenly and speak to someone else in the room. Jarael looked behind Master Driviz to see another Padawan standing there in the doorway.
He didn't have much time to take a breather though before Master Driviz was ready to start again. He warned Jarael a second before launching into the air and spinning about. Jarael jumped back to avoid the spin while simultaneously stretching out his shoto to defend the strike. His Master's saber struck the shoto and sent it flying out of Jarael's hand. The green beam shot back into the metallic handle as it hit the ground with a thud.
Jarael felt panic grip him for a moment before remembering his Master's word.
"You'll be taught Jar'Kai, which means you'll have two lightsabers so if one is taken away from you, you'll still have a weapon to defend yourself."
Jarael switched his grip to hold his lone saber with two hands, and then felt the Force crash down on him and lift him into the air towards his Master. He attempted to defend against the force Grip, but was unsuccessful. He hurtled toward his Master, like a fish caught on a hook. He formed an idea quickly though. He stopped fighting and allowed himself to be pulled forward, using it to gather momentum. As he drew closer, Master Driviz threw his saber at Jarael and dropped to the ground underneath of him.
Jarael called the Force to his aid and used it to increase his speed in order to block the saber his Master had launched at him by swinging his own saber downward. He made contact with the blade and used the Force to do a kind of somersault in the air and land on the floor with his back facing his Master. He turned around to see his Master regain his saber through the Force. Jarael extended his left hand and called his fallen saber back to him. As the metallic handle reached his hand, he activated the green-bladed shoto.

Klon stood up rather surprised by the boy's skill. He had a flawed style but such impressive tactical skills... Klon was a rather skilled Jar-kai duelist himself, so he could see the potential in Jarael's fighting. He just needed somebody to hone his skills, push him further, and as the Master Klon was willing to be that person.
The kiffar laid down his saber and said " My padawan. you show such skill, I think your ready for a real mission. You need the experiences, other then lacking experiences I think you will be a wonderful jedi.Go prepare while I talk with Aldor, okay?" The kiffar would wait for Jarael to leave before moving on with the new student.
(Sorry for the wait, and sloppy post...)

Jarael deactivated his lightsabers and wiped sweat from his brow. He looked at his Master and allowed a small smile to split his face as he was complimented. Jarael bowed to Master Driviz and followed orders. He nodded to his fellow Padawan as he left the room to prepare for whatever mission Master Driviz had in store.

Klon simply sighed, what was it with him and his unofficial students being late. When without a master one should be prepared to take training when ever it is offered. It seems almost disrespectful in the eyes of Jedi master Klon driviz... To be charged with the training of the next generation of Jedi one can only hope they prove to have the skill for such a thing as becoming a true Jedi.
Although it is not always about skill, if they don't have the wisdom nobody can become a Jedi. Some Padawan remain Padawan for there whole Jedi life. This lad showed himself to be a bit less responsible than most. "I don't care for your reasons for being late, but don't do it again... I can only take one more Padawan and you are still unofficial... Behave yourself and do not be late again. The smallest things speak on your character my friend, remember that..."
Klon then picked up his weapons and said " We will start with a spar, show me what you can do with a lightsaber. If your lightsaber does not have a power adjustment nob take one of the training lightsabers for use in this." The man then took a stance in waiting of the boy.
