Number Of People Wanted: Just a' 1
Reason For Roleplay: This is less a request and more a shout out. I was wondering if anyone on site happened to have a Jedi that an Artisan. I'm guessing my chances are slim, but hey, can't say I'm not trying. If, by chance, there is an Artisan around, I was wondering if he could help out my padawan build his lightsaber.
Other: Hrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrm, probably should have put that last bit about likelihood here. Oh well!

Well, I don't have an artisan, but Elys made her own saber-pike, and previous to that her single blade. plus she tinkers with droids (if that makes any difference). She's still a padawan herself (about 19), but I'm sure she could give some tips to vance if you wanted?

Hmm, just to say it/throw it out there but the Master guides/helps their apprentice through the saber construction, what with it being a special occasion and it being ripe with lecturing opportunities.

from what I understand Fro's/Vance's master hasn't been around lately, so that might be difficult for him =/

It might be an idea to hold off making an actual saber (especially in a thread) until that master returns or a new one is found. Training sabers can still be quite harmful and if there's no master to go out on missions with then having a full saber doesn't really make much sense either.
But yea, you could have him be working on collecting the parts and such? But for the actual construction, doesn't really make sense unless his master's involved.

Perhaps I should have been a bit more clear. I'm looking to get Vance to the point at which he could build an entire lightsaber from scratch. Metal components, circuitry, the works. I'm not literally looking for someone to help him build a saber, but rather someone who can educate him in the finer arts of construction so that when he finally does build the thing, he can do it start to finish (from scratch) with his master mainly offering advice and ideas, and less so baby-stepping him through the process.
