Personally, I have some faith in Snyder. I think he could direct a good Superman movie. No Superman movie yet has managed to capture his character right, which is a shame because when pulled off, he's such a great character.
From what I've seen of the short teaser released, they are focusing on the side of him that's often overlooked, so that gives me hope.
But we just won't know until it comes out.

I'm looking at it this way; so long as Nolan makes sure he doesn't make the same movie with a guy in tights, and Superman doesn't have a kid *cough, Superman Returns, cough, cough*, I think we're in for a helluva movie.
