Appearance:
Tresk is a Bothan who is nearly physiologically identical to the majority of his species, yet there are several signs which lead one to question the origin of this curious Bothan. Tresk, his mother, her father before her, and so on, have had traits which belong to another race entirely, the Arkanians. This is not a new development within his family, these traits have been with the family Rul for generations. However, as a result of breeding with other, baseline Bothans, these traits have been quite watered down to a few yet noticeable markings still present in Tresk. First would be chiefly noticed by other Bothans, or those with heightened olfactory senses. Tresk doesn't smell...well, entirely Bothan. Although scent differences between Bothan clans are incredibly common, all Bothans with Rul blood smell slightly alien. Second, would be Tresk's height, which is rather tall for a Bothan. He measures up at approximately five feet and four inches, as opposed to the average of just under five feet. To many his height may still seem insubstanstial, but in a crowd on Bothawui, his head would definitley be poking out of the top. Third, would be Tresk's hair, the long hair atop his head, his brows, and his beard, are all the color of arkanian white. Though often mistaken as a sign of age, his hair has simply always been white. Lastly, would be his right eye, which posseses a silver iris rather than the brown of his left eye. Slightly disorienting when both are noticed, it is by far the most arkanian trait he posses.
Despite his height abnormality, Tresk lacks a signifigant amount of bulk to match. Fit and lean, he certainly is not a weak being, but he still is only as strong as a well trained humanoid. Covering the majority of his thin-athletic frame is coarse layer of light brown to tan fur. Save for his head, his fur rarely deviates from the basic tan palate anywhere on his body. In regard for clothing, Tresk prefers simple brown robes. Although he prefers to not wear his cloak or a tunic with sleeves. His fur has been known to catch and rub against the robes, constantly distracting him. The solution? Cut them off. However, as a padawan he had taken to wearing gauntlets with moderate protective properties to protect against those annoying little things like electric sparks and getting one's hand shot off by a stray blaster bolt. Thus he finds a pleasent medium between protection and freedom from discomfort.
