This site isn't for me. As I already stated in my character profile, the effort required for a site as inactive and slow as this is most certainly not worth it and the strict guidelines really hinder creativity, which is the point of this place. Also, the boards are messy and unorganized and filled with old irrelevant posts that I have to sift through to try and find anything of use.

So I'm going back to thestarwarsrp.com

Sorry to see you go. I was hoping you would have the dedication and determination to do an excellent job here on SWU, but it appears it was not meant to be.

You strike me as a person who would make uneducated assumptions... how fitting.

I have plenty of dedication and determination, actually. Leading a main faction (Jedi) with no one else to help and a bunch of paddies needing to be trained and taking several (about 20) apprentices within 2 months and setting up several (5+) classes in order to keep the faction going so it didn't completely fall apart. Keeping rosters and lists up to date and threads current and relevant daily. Accepting (reading through, critiquing, etc.) 3+ profiles a day. Generally making sure the faction didn't just fall apart while we had no official faction leader and only one other active Councilor that couldn't do anything because of technicalities.

And I'm not exaggerating. The site has a lot of active people, far more than double what's here.

So, I know you think I'm attacking you specifically, but I'm not. I'm speaking in general, as I've searched the site pretty well. Even so, it's hard to do an excellent job when nothing's going on here.

I'm just speaking my opinion as well as some others I've talked to. Do what you will with it. When leaders aren't open to suggestions, it shows quite clearly that something's wrong with the system. However, those in power tend to not see such things and have the power to stay in power so then nothing gets fixed. Something you may want to look out for.

And you may think I'm being malicious, but I'm really not. But of course anyone can say anything in this medium, so I guess that means little to nothing.

Wow... If all your going to do is complain all day just go already... if the site is not for you its not for you, leave it at that and be on your way... And this site your EXAGGERATING about, stick with it... Oh and I checked out the link, your right! Its amazing! It has a total of 16 members and 66 guest! 16 members! OMG what doesn't that site have?! Oh, thats right... Members with creativity ... I don't think so... Nope... I get that everybody has a opinion, but don't go around spewing trash because things are not going at the pace you want please... Ah, if only their was a little less laziness and more creativity within you Maverick I think you would have done great things on this site... I really did think your character was interesting until you jumped into childish complaining about something that only applies to you. ARE creativity is running wild on this site, nobodies fault that your Creativity is suffocating in a tiny metallic box of your own creation . To bad,so sad I say... But it does suit you, a lazy site for a lazy person...

But anyway bye... If only you had the dedication and determination to stick around... Sorry... don't worry, I won't tell anybody about how your mediocre mind couldn't keep up with are site's pace and high expectations. If you was less ignorant maybe you would have realized the higher expectations, the more satisfying the rp will be. His problem seems to be one that I am suffering from as well. There seems to be an overcomplicated profile system that takes ardent amounts of effort to work out to the admins' choosing. Factions and the like seem to be more difficult to start up and run, and there's a low level of inactivity here, with some people getting on maybe once per week. Sad to see you go, Mav, but I understand why you did.

Strict guidelines are a very good thing in my opinion. It leaves a very little room for a failure when creating a character, and generally is great when correcting some OP characters, as you can very easily compare various chars. You can do pretty much what you want with your character, as long as you do it in a believeable and realistic way. The inactivity is a chapter for itself, so ... thanks for leaving a link to the other RP site.

While I'm sorry you were unable to find things about the RP that you liked, I'd like to remind members that the staff and the other members have lives. I have been on some RPs where people post so often and so much that you literally get lost in a thread because you decided to take a nap. This RP is very much at your own pace, because RPing is a free time activity, not a full time job, since quite a few of us do have full time jobs and school.

This sort of pace and environment works for some and not for others, and I sincerely hope those of you with issues can either stick it out or find an RP more suited to your tastes.

Let's see sir, you come in and insult me, make ignorant assumptions, and offend me. You complain and place yourself above our system. Probably most pathetically you get told to change two or three things and you act as if your creativity is being unduly burdened and imply one cannot be creative under such conditions. That insults everyone here who has made a character.

But that's really not relevant, 'cause this is very much a case of to each their own. Lets all put on our grown-up panties and not take it personally when other people decide to do what's best for them. :3 It's all about having fun, anyway. Different people find different things to be more fun, and there's nothing wrong with that.
