Planet Name: Araxius Prime
Planet Type: Global Jungle
Habitable: Yes, but Due to naturally occurring diseases, species with weak immune systems MUST wear bio hazard suits. Habitable to all oxygen breathing species.
System: Rexius, Near the Ithor System.
Terrain Overview: With its entire surface being one huge jungle much terrain is hidden beneath the layers of trees. Though once one gets past the thick trees and carnivorous tree dwelling animals once will find the ground soft and seemingly peaceful jungle around them just as dangerous, from sudden pits into The Empty, to swarms of Black Fever Ticks waiting to spread their disease.
Notable Geographic Features:
Valley of Rezuis: One of the few places where The Araxius have allowed the semi-parasitic vine known as Death Grip, to prosper. The Valley itself is the lowest surface point on Araxius Prime, and as such the rain it receives stays until The vines have soaked it up. Entrance into The Valley requires an enclosed vehicle due to the very nature of Death Grip. If you escape its grip the sub-dermal seeds it places in you will kill you within twelve hours, unless the vines growing within you reach your heart.
The Empty: An massive expanse of underground caves, tunnels, and caverns made over millennia by underground sources of water. Traditional thought to be the home of the ancient Araxian god of death it is here some of the stranger creatures of Araxius Prime make their habitat, such as the Blade Bat. This is also where most of the water on the planet is found, in massive underground aquifers. This is also the home of most of the Mad Biters, since they dare not show their faces to their brethren.
Mount of Rexlin: The highest point on Araxius Prime. Named after the ancient Araxian god of peace, it represents his dominion over all on Araxius Prime. The peak of the mountain reaches the very outer edge of the ionosphere and it is here the Araxius long ago set up an organic telescope, which looks like a brain with single massive eyestalk, to observe the night sky here, and it is still there today, feeding on the cosmic radiation that it grown to feed off of. One can still visit the telescope if they can stand the extreme cold and radiation. For reasons unkown there is a strong Light Side presence.
Lake Bazix: Located deep in The Empty lies a massive underground lake. This lake is one of kind in the fact that it houses the very creature that inspired the ancient Araxian God of Death. It is also one of the few lakes to support a microcosm as diverse as the jungle on the surface. There many different types of fish, amphians and reptiles thay make this lake their home and its is the water source that has kept The Araxius capital city alive for more than one thousand years. Due to it being in The Empty, Mad Biters make their home here, to worship the creature that inspired the Death God. For reasons unkown there is a strong

Capital City: Trecius Rexlin (City of Rexlin)
Major cities: Rekius, Teish’x, Railixas
Sentient species: The Araxius (coming soon)
Non-Sentient species of note:
Blade Bat: One of the species of note that inhabit almost every part of The Empty. The name comes from the naturally occuring blade like offshots on its' wings. Feeds mainly on the small insects and mammels that are in The Empty.
Black Fever Tick: One of the many disease-carrying insects that inhabit the deep jungle of Araxius Prime. The disease they carry is called Black Fever for a reason. If you catch this disease your skin turns the darkest black and begins to rot. It’s one of the few diseases The Araxius can get. The tick itself looks like a black ball with two small red eyes, wings, and a circular mouth absolutely full of small teeth and Black Fever Bacterium.
Trihorn Beetle: Six-foot long spiky and hard shelled herbavorious insect. Commonly a household pet of many Araxians and has recently been approved for off world trading as a pet. Like all species on Araxius Prime they have large secondary eyes that are used for thermal feeding in The Empty.
Bazixux: The largest water creature in all of Araxius Prime is this laviathan. Covered in a harp exoskeleton it looks lieka strange mix of a fish, eel and some kind of crustation. It's single 'eye' is actually a massive echo-locator. The body, covered in a massive exoskeleton is attleat half-a mile long and covered by various barnacles and other external parasites. Around the massive, circular mouth are six to eight emt-transpartent tentacles that grab hold of protection pray and shove them alive into the mouth. It is easy to see why this creaure ispired the Araxian God of Death.
History: Ancient: The Araxian history of their tiem before becoming unified is known as the R'tuic Yarno, or quitel itterally: Years of our Ancestors. The Araxius were once split into hundred,d if not thousands of tribes across the planet. Each one defending it's territory, merging, or splitting apart. This was when Deathvine was slowly takign voer the planet and Trihorn Bettles were being killed by Araxians for food and protection against The Death Vine. Before long The Araxians were forced underground, this lasted for tens of thousands of years. during this time The Araxius started to become more unified, though not completely, and they become more reliant on plants than meat. With this the Trihorn bettle population exploded, but ecen with a population of near a billion it woudl take thousands of years for the Death Vine to be destroyed completely. In the time it took to get Death vine levels down to good, safe point the Araxian had learned rudimentary selective breeding, with them getting the most nutriants out of the plants they ate and even amond their own people to produce the fastest, strongest individuals and increasing the infared vision of their offspring. While underground they found many animals to represent ehri Gods, fro mthe legendary Bazixux to the common Blade Bat. (more to come.)
