Reason For Roleplay: This RP will be for people interested in being a part of an Indy faction I'm working on. A general meeting up, so to say, perhaps to gain interest and contracts.

Other: The meeting room will be especially secured, with weapons being taken up at the front of the room and energy nullifiers active to disable any hidden energy weapons. Should a Jedi or Sith choose to attend this, additional security will be employed, mentioned beforehand in the thread's first post.

So yeah... I had no idea where to post a request for people to help with a pending Indy faction, and I heard that the sub-board for that had merged in here, so I made this thread. If it's in the wrong place, please move it.

Faction Info: The faction is a ship-building corporation that will design and construct starfighters and starships of various classes, shapes, and sizes. Imperial and Republic members of the company will have chances to lobby for Subach ships and technology to be sold to their faction, as will Fringe and Indy faction members.

Is this a meeting for possible investors or possible employees?

If the former, I have a rather wealthy Corvanan Aristocrat that would be interested in investing and perhaps purchasing a fraction of the company.

I'd be willing to say a juxtaposition of both, as I am not sure whether the admins would consider investors as members of the faction.

hmm...Yes, I am very interested. Arianna, mah rich chick, would probably want to purchase a large amount of the company if this is possible. She has her own transportation and would be willing to meet with other prospective investors and owners.

This meeting will be to discuss the IC founding of the faction, no?

From what I gather, this is a ship-buiding company that will not be an actual custom faction. I figured that was right up Aerith's alley.

Yeah, but she can't invest in it if it's Republic, so I have to know details.

It's a ship-building company on the independent side, one currently aligned with neither the Republic nor the Empire. The faction was going to be the company's personal military forces, ala the East India Trading Company. I decided that it would make more sense to get 4 other people prior to starting work on the faction as to make things easier.

But where is the faction headquartered? Where will the meeting take place?

If you're looking for investors I can help, but I can't become a member of some private security military faction.

The faction would encompass both the business and fleet-side portions of the company. As for meeting place: the headquarters on Hypori would work. According to the map, it would be an unused planet that someone could start a faction on. As stated, my official writeup of the faction will be made after this RP and I get enough people to officially make it, unless one of the mods advise me to start work on it now.

Hypori is far too remote to be effective. But Borosk might be a good choice.

But be advised that in order to create a company, you don't need to create a faction.

If I don't, then I guess that makes things a hell of a lot easier... Some designs'll probably be coming out before this meeting is officially underway. and I only mentioned Hypori due to it having great industrial importance in the SW universe, though since you suggested a different location, I will heed that advice.

Thing about hypori is that on our site map it has no color at all, meaning nothing is established there at all. Green is ideal, as it means settled and independent world.
