Appearance:
Sporting an imposing physique and height most approach Ryn cautiously, the scars running over the top of his head don't help either, they lead down through his left eye and continue to his cheek. The injury has caused Ryn to go blind in the eye, the color has faded leaving the eye almost stark white. His other eye is in large contrast to the white being a striking Crystalline blue that looks as if it could pierce your very soul with it's gaze.
Ryn is covered in a fine rough fur that's jet black, were he shaved his skin tone is only a few shades lighter than his fur. Being half Farghul Ryn has inherited their vanity and enjoys baubles so he's adorned his belt with multiple tribal objects along with a necklace, most of the objects being bone or teeth from beasts he's slain. The few bits of jewelry are spoils of war as most would put it but he doesn't put much stake in them, they're simply there to give him more of an imposing look.
As for the bands that decorate Ryn's arms and legs each one was made in honor of a life that was lost in his presence and so he now respects their memory with the bands. On Ryn's thighs are tribal band tattoo's that symbolize Honor, Justice and Loyalty, these were paid for by a squad of Republic Soldiers whom he rescued from certain death.
Personality:
Ryn is usually silent, watching and analyzing everything and everyone around him until he finds something amiss or someone has pushed the boundaries of his patience, then he will speak up and when he does his voice is so deep it usually booms across the Temple. He cannot tolerate Arrogance, especially in his fellow Jedi if he sees it he will make a point to confront the other Jedi making sure to remind them they could fall to the Darkside.
Ryn is a solitary creature enjoying silence to the roar of the city, he gives off a very cold and harsh feeling to those around him so they'd prefer leaving him be over chancing a conversation. There is only one that's known him long enough to look past his cold demeanor which allows her to give Ryn insight he might not normally have, Ryn and Azaalee have been friends for years and her singing can bring him comfort in the darkest of times. She has an uncanny ability to calm his aggressiveness in the heat of the moment and get him to look at things from a different perspective.
Honor not only in combat, but life as well is what drives Ryn through the darkest of times, so long as he can keep his honor he can stay on the path of Light. He refuses to become like those of the Darkside using deceit and trickery to win, simply because they do does not mean the Jedi must resort to the same tactics. It's what keeps the Jedi from turning into the Sith, what makes the Jedi role models to all in the Galaxy a shining light breaking through the dark storm.
A true predator Ryn has trained to the peak of physical prowess so he can take down almost any prey, wether he's dueling someone or wading into a battlefield Ryn is a sight to behold, his feline grace and power causing most to stop and stare for a moment in disbelief. When in combat Ryn is aggressive and animalistic unlike most Jedi Ryn can thrive on fighting and so he does.
The end of the war is no where in sight and so Ryn makes a point to be prepared for a long and grueling fight with the Jedi Order's enemies. There can never be peace without war, recognizing this he's adopted a view on the Galaxy that most Jedi would look down on.
