Tython, the home land of the original Jedi order. A ancient world with a strong connection to the force would make time here a excellent learning experience for all young Jedi. Luckily this was the location chosen for Kiffar Jedi Master Klon Driviz to take his youthful Padawan. As sentinel tend to stay bound to one place for a rather long time they were set to be on Tython for a long while.
Although the mission is no investigation, but something more along the lines of a Jedi watchman. Thus Klon saw this type of job is the best way to introduce any young sentinel to the life of a Jedi. The two were all set to move out when they arrived in the Tython temple early in the morning, they could leave what they didn't need in the temple and prepare for travel as they begin their mission.
Klon awaited his young Padawan learner outside of the temple main entrance where he planned to brief the boy on what it is they would be doing today. Everything should be fine as long as the Flesh Raiders keep their distance. This was a mission of humanitarian aid and protection for the pilgrims of the planet. Flesh raiders were a real threat and he hoped his student wouldn't have to face them,if the duo is lucky they can avoid conflict all together.
In his waiting Klon simply took to meditation, since that was something he often found himself doing when unsure or simply doing nothing. He awaited the approach of the student while he put his mind at peace though meditation. Tython was always such a great looking planet held in the embrace of the force and awaiting the missions begin. This Kiffar was happy as he was, and his first mission with the new student had him ecstatic and ready to test the boy's training.

As their shuttle approached the lush-looking planet, Jarael could feel the Force radiating off of it. He could see why this was the home fo the original Jedi Order. This world definitely had a strong link to the Force. He felt flowing through him and enveloping him as the shuttle came closer to the planet and eventually touched down on a landing pad outside of the Tyhonian Temple. It was massive, much larger than the temple on Coruscant and a lot more elborate looking.
Jarael followed his master down the ramp of the shuttle and up the stone steps of the Jedi temple. Once inside, they found the rooms they would be staying in while stationed on Tyhon. Jarael was in a room just down the hall from Master Driviz. Jarael walked into his room and looked back at his master standing in the doorway. Master Driviz told Jarael to unpack and gather whatever he needed for their first mission, which would begin in an hour.
Jarael bowed as Master Driviz turned and walked down the hall to his own room, which Jarael imagined looked just the same as his own, possibly a bit bigger since Klon was a Jedi Master. After unpacking and gathering what he felt he needed, Jarael still had twenty minutes until he was to meet Master Driviz outside of the temple. He used this time to walk aroudn the temple, greeting the other Jedi stationed here and exploring. By the time he made his way the temple's steps where his master was waiting, Jarael was ten minutes late. He had gotten a bit lost in the new temple. He walked up to Master Driviz and bowed, speaking his apology to the ground instead of to his Master's face.
(OOC: Sorry for the absence, Tim. I got busy and neglected to post this weekend. )

Not much time had passed before the boy appeared, although he was still late. It meant nothing at this point, since the boy had a habit of being late at this point. The Kiffar Jedi master resting his hand on the lad's shoulder said "Its okay my young Padawan, as long as your prepared I have no issue with your tardiness. Although you could still try to be on time a bit more often. We will be on Tython for the next month so be prepared my boy, we must go out to the settlements and simply provide aid. We will be guarding the Village as well as helping with gathering. The place had been attacked by a group of beings known as the flesh raiders recently and we are to help them recover from this raid."
The Jedi master then turned and made his way down the temple steps and walked though the plains assuming his Padawan to be at his rear. The land was so lush and green, the air fresh and yet the natives were hostile. Not only that but the raiders had the ability to speak, although mostly primitive they had advanced weapons. That race was always such a interesting topic of discussion.
It took about 20 minutes of walking before they arrived at the settlement of mostly Twi'lek. The whole walk the Jedi master felt other life forms though the force, stalking and waiting as he moved though the rolling grasslands with his Padawan. Was theses Twi'lek or the infamous flesh raiders? No matter who those beings were it would not be so little a threat that Klon does not seem visually on guard.
When they finally stepped foot into the settlement they were greeted by bowing heads and the Village Chief who invited the two to come closer. "Wait out here while I talk with the Elder one, do you understand Jarael?" Said the Kiffar as he entered the hut of the Chief Twi'lek who explained their situation in great detail. Jarael outside would be greeted more formally by many of the natives young and old, being given flowers and greeted with their native tough. Although some proved to know Basic and spoke it rather well.
The boy should have Waited for more then half an hour before his dark haired Kiffar master steps out of the hut and drags the boy off to the side. "It seems that we will be working rather hard while here my young Padawan. I will have to inspect the area and call in supplies from the republic for these people. You will have a few duties in your time here as well, talk to the Twi'leks and they will give you something to do... Right now they need help digging graves for all those killed in the last raid... can you assist with that my Padawan?"[/b] The Kiffar waited for the boy to speak on his simple task, and hoped the child could approve of such work for it is the Jedi way...

Jarael nodded as his Master waved his tardiness aside. Then, Master Driviz began explaining why they were here and how long they would remain. After he was done explaining, Master Driviz began to trek towards the settlement and Jarael followed. While they walked, he looked around at all the wildlife. He saw as well as sensed animals and other beings moving through the forest around them and occasionally wandering on to the path in front of them.
Within twenty minutes, the Master and Padawan had reached the village. The two Jedi were greeted at the entrance and were bowed to as they made their way throught he vilalge to the hut of the Twi'lek Chief. Jarael was instructed to wait outside while his Master spoke with the Chief. Jarael nodded to show that he understood and leaned against the outside wall of the hut.
He looked up at the sky for a moment and then looked back down. A Twi'lek child walked up to him, nervously at first until he gaver her a smile, and beckoned him forward. He leaned down, and she placed a ring of flowers around his neck.
"Thank you, little one."
She smiled and ran back to her mother, who was standing a few feet away. A few more of the villagers wandered over to him and began to greet him, calling him "Master Jedi". At this, Jarael would politely say, "No. I'm but a Padawan under my own Master still."
When his Master finally returned from the hut, Jarael was seen a few yards off entertaining some of the vilalge children by floating rocks around them. As he looked over and saw Master Driviz, Jarael dropped the rocks back to the ground and made his way over tot he hut. Oncer he got there, he bowed his head and spoke.
"I'm sorry, Master. The children, they wouldn't leave me alone."
Master Driviz seemed to ignore Jarael's apology as he went into explaining to the Padawan that they would be helping around the village. Jarael's first task was to help dig graves for the villagers who died in the last raid. With a grim face, Jarael accepted the job. He found his way to where the Twi'leks were already digging. They handed Jarael a shovel, and he began digging along side them. The temperature down in the graves Jarael dug were hot enough to cause him to break out in a sweat.
He brushed his braid behind his ear as he continued the gruesome job of grave digging. By the time they were done, Jarael climbed out of the last grave he dug, covered in dirt. His face was sweaty and dirty. His tunic, too, was covered in dirt, as well as his hands and more or less everythign else on him. He found his Master after getting a drink of water and waited for his next task.
