Name: Aiya Nobos.
Race: Nautolan.
Age: Thirty-Nine, 39.
Height: Five-Feet & Eight Inches, 5'8.
Weight: One-Hundred & Fifteen Pounds, 115lbs.
Appearance:
A blue-skinned Nautolan female of Glee Anselm, Aiya is of slightly below average height and weight for a female adult of her species. Her most noticeable feature, as is for most Nautolans, are her head tails which each possesses its own leather strap near the base. With her high cheekbones, her facial features are further accentuated by giving more definition to her large black eyes. Upon further observation, one would notice Aiya's athletic build. Her body is well toned, honed by many years of physical training which could only have been maintained by one of strong will.
As far as her attire goes, Aiya has been known to have worn the traditional robes of the Jedi in her youth though her position changed once she reached Knighthood. Her style of dress has grown to mirror her personality and love for expressive freedom. She now wears less restrictive and more visually pleasing robes; often in an olive-green color. Her appearance is warm and inviting which further augments her sociable nature.
Personality:
Aiya is very warm and sociable upon first introductions. Often met with a wide smile and a cheerful disposition, acquaintances are impressed by her polite tone. However, subject of politics often stirred her more aggressive side. Aiya felt that the Senate was far less useful than many believed they were due to their long process of delegation. Perhaps this further influenced her decision to walk the path of the Guardian. Throughout her time as a young Jedi, she was often warned that her aggressive nature would lead to her fall to the darkside; a matter she often had a difficult time dealing with. Despite this however, she has grown into fine Jedi Knight; often seeking to clear her mind and emotions through self-meditation.
She garnered a reputation for her highly analytically nature and critical observation skills. These abilities focused not only on her environment or opponents, but inwardly aswell. Aiya has always been overly critical of herself and spent much of her free-time training and honing her skills and knowledge of combat. It was because of this determination that she has been commended many times for her military prowess and ferocity on the front-lines against insurmountable odds. She is a good military leader whose quick thinking earned her the respect of many of the republic's finest soldiers.
Despite her many years as a Jedi, Aiya is quite content with taking the life of another sentient. This is not to be mistaken as a flaw in her training, instead she has learned refrain from drawing her blade unless no other options are presented. Much to the applause of her former Master, her aggressive nature remains overshadowed by her cheerful and calm demeanor thanks to her training as a Jedi. When combat comes into play, Aiya chooses to quickly overwhelm her opponents before they have the chance to raise their defenses. Her perspective of the force has further cemented her view of the force as a mere tool and thus an extension of her own ability.
Because of her overly-critical nature, she employs many unorthodox training methods to hone her mind and body. During her years as a Jedi Knight, she did not believe herself ready for the duties of a Master which is why she has refused, on numerous occasion, to take on a Padawan learner when requested. Though as the years passed, she honed her skills further and her decision on the matter changed. Aiya spends much of her time observing the Youngling during their physical education and saber-training sessions in hopes of finding a pupil to share her love of the saber arts with.

Bio:
Aiya Nobos, like many of her people, was born on Glee Anselem in the Sabilon regions. Her mother was an aspiring Nautolan musician who enjoyed the freedoms and expression that came with it. She was a free-spirited being with a love for the wide-open sea who later fell in love with a solider. During the Nautolan and Anselmi skirmishes, Aiya's mother was caught between the two warring factions as a neutral individual when the war reached her village. Her father, a Nautolan warrior at the time, quickly noticing the panicked female shielded her from the assault and protected her throughout the battle. There began their budding love and once the was were over, they wed and conceived a child.
Aiya spent the first three years of her life learning the basic life-skills that most Nautolan learn in their early years. Of these, Aiya grew to love the wide open sea and the freedom that came with it. But when the seas darkened with blood, disaster struck. Seeking revenge, the Anselmi remnants again sought to claim the surface and attacked the Nautolan people once again. During the struggle, Aiya's mother and father were killed giving her the chance to escape to the surface. Once the Nautolan forces gathered, the Anselmi remnants were once again dispatched; this time for good.
Left orphaned and alone, Aiya spent the next few weeks scouring for food and shelter. It wasn't until the Republic arrived to assist in the relief and reconstruction effort that one of the accompanying Jedi Knights, now Watchman over Glee Anselem, sensed the young Nautolan's force sensitivity and requested that she be transported to Coruscant to be trained in the ways of the Jedi. Realizing that she had nothing left for her on her homeworld, she accepted and embarked on her journey to the Jedi Temple at the age of four.
Coruscant was unlike any place Aiya could have fathomed in her wildest dreams. The planet was teeming with sentient life, though she felt out of place upon the city covered planet. When she finally arrived at the temple, she immediately began her acclimation into the life of a Youngling. Life at the temple was fast-paced, just as the city surrounding it was. This proved quite useful in the sense that it kept her mind away from her parents and her homeworld.
Aiya was placed introduced to one of the Jedi Minders named Aaylas Mortis, an elderly human female in charge of one of the many clans within the temple. After a short conversation, Aaylas introduced the young Nautolan to the rest of the clan who quickly took a negative interest in her. Much of the clan consisted of human force-sensitives or more human looking near-humans which set Aiya apart from the rest of her group. The first few weeks proved the most difficult as she felt alienated. Many of the human children taunted her for her appearance, giving her such nicknames as "squid-head" or "fish-girl". The torment even extended physically as the children would run by in the halls and tug her head-tails violently before scurrying off snickering. This abuse resulted in many nights where Aiya cried herself to sleep.
Over the next few months, Aiya furthered her study of the Jedi order and engaged in rigorous classroom lessons over mathematics, politics, ethics and a variety of sciences. Her favorite lessons were those of saber-combat. It seemed as though she had a natural aptitude for for the blade which drew the attention of a variety of Jedi Knights to observe her clan's training sessions. During sparring matches, Aiya's naturally enhanced senses worked in her favor and helped her quickly defeat the others of her clan.
The years continued on, and Aiya's reputation as a duelist continued to draw the attention of many Guardian-Class Jedi Knights and Masters. They saw much potential in the Youngling as a highly skilled duelist if properly trained. Once she reached the age of ten, she was approached by the temple's Twi'lek Battlemaster, Yuuso Bael, and taken as a Padawan learner.
Training began early the next morning after being taken as a Padawan. Having been awoken early, Aiya was instructed to get dressed and to meet outside the temple at the base of the steps. Once she arrived there, she was met by the battlemaster and instructed to run laps around the entirety of the temple. Before her real training would begin, he told her, she must first condition her body to withstand Yuuso's training regiment. The first few months were the most difficult with the hardest training stemming from the lack of mental fortitude to continue. Despite this, Aiya persevered and the two began her real training.
On occasion, Aiya would accompany the Battlemaster on diplomatic missions where she was instructed to simply observe and meditate upon what she witnessed during the meetings. These diplomatic assemblies rarely extended outside of the galactic core, so Aiya's training at the temple was rarely hindered by the missions.
Yuuso taught her the principles of of Shii-Cho, detailing the history of the form in coherence to the Jedi Order. During her lessons, Aiya learned the various marks of combat quickly due to the rigorous training methods of the Battlemaster. Despite his reputation as a fierce lightsaber duelist, Yuuso was not without master of the force. For the first two years of her time as his Padawan, Aiya's training in the control aspect of the force was expanded upon heavily by the Battlemaster who believed that control was the most important part of learning the force and abating the temptation of the darkside's influence. The control aspect of the force taught not only to harness and manipulate the force as an extension of ones self, but the importance of self-control as the basis of any Jedi Knights foundation.
The next three years continued precariously sluggish as they focused solely upon training in the first form, Shii-Cho. Alongside this training, Yuuso instructed her in the art of meditation and in the ways of the force; particularly harnessing it to augments one's physical aspects. The first force technique Aiya was instructed in was the art of Force Valor. It wasn't until she reached the age of fifteen and mastered Form I that the two left the Jedi temple on Coruscant to begin training and taking on real missions.
Upon their departure from Coruscant, Battlemaster Yuuso was contacted by the Council of Reassignment and alerted of the sudden loss of communication between one of their Exploration Corp teams. They informed him of their last known location and uploaded the co-ordinates to a lush planet known as Tund. Accepting the council's request to look into the matter, the two set out for the planet to investigate the disappearance.
Their arrival was blanketed by a heavy mid-summer rain which altered their vessel's planetary sensors. They soon picked up a faint beacon which led them to a wide-clearing just outside of an ancient structure with a malevolent aura about it; the Darkside was present here. After disembarking their own ship, signs of battle were quickly noticed. The area was littered with blaster-bolt burns covering the ground, trees and the face of the structure. Yuuso instructed Aiya to check the ship for survivors while he investigated the surroundings. As she entered the ship, she quickly came across three deceased Corps members. After examining the bodies, she noticed the lack of blaster bolt burns, instead she noticed evidence of a lightsaber's blade along many of the bodies. Aiya looked through their datapads for some kind of mention as to explain the purpose of their being here and came across the mention of the Sorcerers of Tund, an ancient sect of Darkside worshiping force-users.
Quickly alerting her master, Aiya and Yuuso proceeded with caution from there. Hoping to further investigate the matter, the two entered the structure. The interior of the structure was similar to that of many of the ancient Jedi temples though hieroglyphs on the walls depicted stories of Force-Users harnessing a terrible energy and projecting it in the form of Force Lightning. As they studied the glyph, their attention was caught by the screams of a woman echoing from deep within the temple.
After coming upon a large ceremonial chamber, they quickly noticed two Dark Jedi performing a kind of force siphoning ritual upon the Corp's member Jedi Knight escort above sarcophagus teeming with the darkside of the force. Once discovered, the two Dark Jedi ended their ritual and drew their lightsabers to attack while the Jedi Knight fell limp; she was dead.
The two factions engaged in a violent battle, displaying their mastery of the saber arts. While the Battlemaster engaged the Dark Jedi master with relative ease, Aiya was combating the other Dark Jedi with all her might. Her mastery of the Form I proved useful enough to keep the Dark Jedi at bay, but left little opening for a finishing blow. This and the fact that Aiya was still utilizing a training saber left her at a keen disadvantage.
Aiya's endurance had began to wane which forced her to utilize the Force Valor technique, but due to the darkside aura within the temple it was severely weakened. Her attacks began to loose precision and were instead replaced with aggressive and desperate strikes. The Dark Jedi was giving his all to to tear down the remainder of Aiya's defenses while utilizing the aggressive Form IV, Ataru. Probing the Dark Jedi's defense, Aiya quickly noticed that the Dark Jedi was focusing heavily upon his saber combat and failed to raise proper defenses against the force. But just as she was focusing her Force energies, she stumbled against one of the downed pillars within the temple and toppled to the ground. As the Dark Jedi raised his blade in triumph, ready to deliver a killing blow, Aiya projected a powerful force wave against the Dark Jedi's torso; collapsing his ribs into his lungs and hurling his body back against one of the weakened pillars within the chamber.
As the Dark Jedi's body slumped to the ground, the roof collpased atop him; ending the Dark Jedi's life. Stunned, Aiya laid petrified as she gather her composure. Because of her maneuver, the structural integrity of the chamber failed and the roof began to collapse around the Battlemaster, his opponent and Aiya. Instructing her to flee while he kept the Dark Jedi Master at bay, Aiya abandoned her training saber and fled into the corridor as the structure began to collapse around them. Shortly after arriving back in the courtyard, a massive dust cloud ejected from the temple's entrance shortly followed by the Battlemaster Yuuso. With the two Dark Jedi defeated and the temple collapsed upon itself, the two Jedi returned to their ship and contacted the Jedi Council of Reassignment, informing them of the loss of the Exploration Corp's group and of the Jedi Knight. They sent another team to investigate the ruins further and once they arrived, Yuuso realized that she had lost her training saber and decided that she was ready to construct one of her own. From Tund, the Jedi Battlemaster and Padawan duo set out to Illum to find Aiya's first lightsaber crystal.
Aiya practiced many feats while utilizing the telekinetic aspects of the force to levitate a variety of objects around her body. She utilized this practice whilst locked in meditation to further calm her mind and strengthen her connection to the force. This was a mandatory ritual that both Yuuso and Aiya engaged in daily for hours at a time. The Battlemaster believed that a sound mind is a far greater weapon than any lightsaber in battle and taught Aiya the very same tenets.
As their vessel broke from hyperspace and entered into the atmosphere of the planet, Aiya was both astonished and hesitant about setting foot upon a world where the water was unable to flow freely and was instead frozen in an eternal stasis.
She shook the thought from her mind as she felt their ship lurch to a halt just outside of the temple. Disembarking from their ship, the two entered into the temple after being greeted by a few Jedi Guards. Passing through the grand doorway, they noticed a wide array of Jedi of all races socializing and moving through the many corridors within the temple. Yuuso informed Aiya that he was going to speak with the Master of the Order and told her that she was free to socialize until he contacted her. From there, the two parted ways and Aiya took to exploring the temple. It was here that she befriended a Twi'lek Padawan by the name of Nisa Urd and a Human Padawan named Ulfric Wenn. Their time together was cut short after a few hours when Aiya's master, Yuuso, contacted her and instructed her to meet her in the lower-levels of the temple.
After entering a turbolift and descending for a few moments, the doors opened to reveal an elderly Jedi and Yuuso awaiting her arrival. They guided her down a long dark corridor which eventually led them to the crystal caverns where she chose a rare blue Ponite crystal which by the allowance of the Battlemaster, she was able to take.
Once the crystal was chosen, the three returned to the upper-levels of the Temple and thanked the Master of the Order for housing them for the time. Yuuso had been contacted by the Jedi High Council and requested that he personally investigate an assault on a republic stronghold deep in the outer-rim. Believing the task to be too dangerous to bring Aiya along, requested that she stay behind and meditate upon the Ponite crystal and further her instruction under Illum's Order Master until he returned.
Despite her initial aversion toward the idea, Aiya soon opened up to the Master's instruction as he displayed his vast knowledge of the lightsaber and its construction. The Master, who introduced himself as Roran Kaast, was highly knowledgeable in the history and use of the lightsaber. He also informed her that he was in fact Yuuso's former Master. Elated, Aiya became extremely interested in the man's lessons and gathered what she could from his teachings.
Just as Yuuso had, Roran instructed her to meditate upon the crystal until it was teeming with the force and a bond was formed between Jedi and crystal. He directed Aiya to a special sound-proof chamber which sealed itself for days at a time until the force-sensitive within unlocked it. There she remained for a week's time meditating and allowing the force to flow through her being and into the crystal. During her meditations, she was disturbed by faint visions of the looming future which gave the young Nautolan a deep sense of unease.
Her visions depicted a powerful force-user of Nautolan descent arriving upon Glee Anselem. The Nautolan wore heavy black robes which obscured their face in shadows. The Nautolan approached an Anselmi village and drew their lightsaber which shone a deep blue. Aiya witnessed the Nautolan slaughter the entirety of the tribe's men, women and children before her very eyes; the emotion felt all too real. They displayed a masterful use of a variety of lightsaber forms, and made quick work of the tribe. Then as though aware of her observation, the Dark Jedi Nautolan stood upright and turned; their black eyes burning a deep crimson and gold as though fully immersed in the darkside. As they drew back their hood, Aiya's heart sank and she awoke from the nightmare. Covered in sweat and her hearts racing, Aiya's body trembled as was staring into her own eyes.
Realizing that she had been locked in a trance for quite some time, Aiya's hunger and fatigue began to set in as her force energies were drained due to the prolonged trance. The force sustained her body, much to the cutesy of her master's training in the Force Body technique. Waving her hand over the doorway, she probed the lock and telekinetically unlocked the door causing it to slowly open. Roran was there waiting for her, with a concerned look upon his face. Aiya's body gave in and she fell unconscious, falling forward as the old Master caught her. He was aware of what had occurred; the Trial of the Spirit.
Under the Order Master's request, Aiya took a few days off from her training. Roran hoped the young Nautolan would instead socialize amongst the Temple and perhaps take her mind off of the visions. Aiya spent much of her time meditating upon the vision, realizing that she held much resentment toward the Anselmi tribes for the murder of her parents. She had buried the feelings deep within her mind during her early years as a Jedi and had nearly forgotten altogether. The force intended for her to remember, for what purpose she knew not. From time to time she was visited by Nisa and Ulfric and the trio spent their free-time playing force-games with stone atlas balls.
After she was given ample time to recover, Roran believed she was ready to continue in the construction of her lightsaber. He guided Aiya to one of the three workshops within the temple and left her there to construct a proper lightsaber. Aiya spent many hours crafting away to construct a blade a proper lightsaber. She worked until the early morning hours and finally completed her blade; a dual-phase hilt which emitted a brilliant blue beam.
With the resources of Illum's temple open to her, Aiya continued her training under Roran's watchful eye early the next morning. He was surprised to see that the young Padawan had crafted a proper lightsaber even without her master's assistance. Roran respected Aiya's ability to craft such a saber and there he decided to continue her training; beginning with Form IV, also known as Ataru. The old master spent the first few days teaching her of the history and philosophies behind the style. Aiya learned that the style was highly offensive and required quick movements and required a broader focus, sound mind and the utilization of the Force. Roran went on to explain that the style was extremely useful as it taught a Jedi how to overcome their physical limitations and perform acrobatic feats most would deem impossible.
Roran was notorious for his unorthodox teachings and instruction and proceeded to introduce the style to Aiya. Roran taught her that the style was meant to unbalance her opponents and left them exposed to the Force while keeping their mind focused on her wild movements. Before the two could begin any real training in the style, Yuuso returned from his mission to retrieve Aiya. After meeting with one another, Roran and Yuuso said their goodbyes while Aiya said her own to Nisa and Ulfric and the now reunited Master and Padawan departed to continue their training together.
They scoured the outer-rim for three more years guarding various outposts at the Council's whim. He continued training Aiya in Form IV believing that his former master's wisdom would prove useful in her training. At the fine age of eighteen, Aiya was well on her way to becoming a prominent Jedi Knight of her time garnering a reputation as a skilled lightsaber combatant and military strategist curtesy of her master's instruction. Her understanding of the battlefield and the ethics of battle grew exponentially during this time aswell as her telekinetic abilities with the force.
After many months of investigating a series of diplomatic assasinations within the outer-rim, the two Jedi found themselves upon the Smuggler's Moon of Nar Shaddaa where they traced the vessel of a prominent Bounty Hunter. They were to meet up with two other Jedi Knights and their Padawans to track the Bounty Hunter to their guild and to apprehend the entirety of it for crimes against the Senate. Aiya and her master spent their time acquiring information from one of the most notorious information brokers of the systems, Mordo Saulo, and childhood friend of Master Yuuso.
Aiya awaited the arrival of the other Jedi Knights and their Padawans while her master spoke with the information broker. When the Jedi arrived, Aiya was elated when she noticed Nisa and Ulfric disembarking. The three embraced one another tightly as they approached an abandoned apartment that Yuuso acquired from the broker as a base of operations. Having received a set of blueprints of the guild-house, the Jedi Knights and the Battlemaster Yuuso assessed a plan of action while the three Padawans meditated in the next room.
When night fell upon the Smuggler's Moon, the Jedi set out to infiltrate the guild and apprehend the Bounty Hunters for their illicit behavior. One hunter in particular, wanted for the assassination of three Senators from the Outer-Rim territories, was the primary target for the mission while the others fell as secondary priority. They approached a tall run-down apartment skyscraper which had been boarded up and sealed by authorities, but this was simply a front. Instructing Aiya and the other two Padawans to round the alleyway and find a back way in, he hoped to draw their focus to the front of the structure.
Aiya, Nisa and Ulfric carefully rounded the building checking door after door with to no avail. Ulfric probed the area through the force and quickly found a ventilation shaft in which they could use to infiltrate the guild. Aiya had a bad feeling about the situation, her senses screaming out against Ulfric's urges to proceed without their Masters. Aiya cautioned them to be patient, but Ulfric urged Nisa to follow behind. The young Nautolan's attempts to contact her master via comlink were in vain as the signal had been mysteriously jammed. Before Aiya could warn Nisa and Ulfric, the two had already crawled into the ventilation shaft and disappeared into the building.
Hoping to stop them before they got themselves into trouble, Aiya lept up the side of the building, performing a miraculous ballet of nimble flips to reach high ventilation shaft. The way was dark, but Aiya could hear the muffled grunts of Nisa and Ulfric quite a ways ahead of her. Before she could reach them, there was a terrible crash and the sound of blaster fire rung in her ears. Lightsabers hummed and it seemed as though an all out battle had begun below her. Drawing her saber, Aiya carved a hole beneath her body to allow herself to fall through and join the battle. Falling into cover, the young Jedi's shield was bombarded by a wave of blaster-fire. Scanning the room, she noticed a small trail of blood along the ground where Nisa and Ulfric fell. It seemed Nisa was struck in the shoulder and in the stomach by a few pieces of Shrapnel from a thermal detonator's explosion.
Aiya drew her saber, focusing the force through her. Drawing upon the force, her Valor strengthened as did her courage in the battle. Noticing four bounty hunters advancing upon Nisa and Ulfric, Aiya extended her hand and telekinetically grasped the ventilation shaft in which Nisa and Ulfric fell from, hurling it into the four as they raised their weapons to fire upon the two Jedi. Hearing the click of a blaster-pistol behind her, Aiya's enhanced reflexes allowed her to shift out of the way just as the bounty hunter pulled the trigger. Performing an agile leap whilst using the force to pull the Bounty Hunter into her, Aiya had achieved a perfect Mou Kei; dismembering each of the bounty hunter's limbs. His screams echoed throughout the building as she landed and disignited her saber. The remaining two fled from the structure and disappeared into the streets.
The Com-link connection came in rather scrambled, but it sounded quite panicked. It was Yuuso informing Aiya that they had been ambushed and to fall back to base and alert the council. The connection died with the sound of blaster fire and her masters screams. Aiya was shocked and in disbelief, not willing to accept that her master was killed. Though she knew her duties and turned to tend to Nisa's wounds. Though deep, they were not severe. Nisa would not be returning to battle for quite some time due to her injuries. The three Jedi Padawans returned to the safe-house and further tended to Nisa's wounds.
They were trapped on the Smuggler's Moon. The information broker had set the Jedi up to clear a bounty on his own head. Aiya's many attempts to contact the republic were in vain as their communication devices had been rigged and their ships seized. The three Padawan were stranded without a master nor of any way to contact the Jedi Order or the Republic. Ulfric was enraged by the situation they found themselves in, quick to blame their Masters for their lack of insight. While Aiya tended to Nisa's wound's, Ulfric was in the next room tearing the apartment apart in his rage. After the intervention of Aiya, he seemed to calm down somewhat which left an eerie silence in the apartment.
A heavy knock at the door broke their silence and caused them to draw their lightsabers. Aiya quickly burst past Ulfric and leapt into he corner of the doorway where she propped herself up between the wall and the ceiling just above the doorway. Signaling for Ulfric to darken the room and take up position by the doorway to where the injured Nisa was resting, Aiya turned her sights below her to the door. The door was being cut through by a laser knife. Once the blade had gone from the top of the doorway to the bottom, there was a nerve racking pause. Suddenly, the door exploded and ripped from its hinges causing it to fly to the ground inside the apartment. Through the smoldering metal, two canisters of smoke bombs rolled into the room and blanketing it in a thick fog. Aiya's natural senses were far too advanced to be hindered by this fog. Sensing their emotions, four armored bounty hunters moved into the apartment with weapons drawn. The smoke began to clear and there in the doorway to Nisa's room stood Ulfric with his weapon drawn. His brash nature had ruined Aiya's plan to ambush their pursuers and press them for information. He had charged, weapon raised, and attempted to slaughter them all.
With quick reflexes, Aiya leapt from her perch and drew her own lightsaber. Whipping her knee up into the back of one of the bounty hunter's own knee, she forced them to the ground and arched her blade across his neck, cutting his throat. Then moving onto the next, she leaped into him and delivered a force imbued force kick which hurled his body back into the wall and knocked his breath away. Turning back toward Ulfric, he began slaying the two other hunters mercilessly before his rage turned toward the last one which Aiya had incapacitated. Charging down with his weapon raised, Aiya quickly countered his downward strike on the unconscious man which caused Ulfric to stumble to the ground. She explained that they would use this man to find their masters and complete the mission altogether.
Many hours passed and the two Jedi pressed the bounty hunter for information. When their hope turned to desperation, they began employing techniques that would be deemed against the Jedi Code. Aiya drew her lightsaber and began using it no longer as a tool to protect, but to bring harm to achieve her objectives. Plunging the blade deep into hunter's inner thigh, she cringed as he screamed violently. The process was repeated until his mental fortitude had fallen and Ulfric was capable of employing the Mind Trick technique to force him into telling them what they wanted. What they were told left them panicked. Their masters were placed in stasis and were to be transported off-world and taken to some strange planet in the wild-space regions. Much to Aiya's displeasure, Ulfric executed bounty hunter which raise a cloud of darkness over the Human Jedi.
Ignoring her personal feelings, Aiya felt that this was no longer safe as a base of operations. Their location had been sold out to the guild by the Broker and they needed to find their way on their own from here. The three gathered up their belongings and left the abandoned apartment. Hijacking the cruiser the bounty hunters arrived in, they took to the skies to decide upon their next plan of action.
They had learned of their Master's location aswell as the location of the Bounty Hunter's guild in question. Ulfric sought to march right into the guild and slaughter each and every one of them while Aiya's plan was more subtle. Much to Ulfric's displeasure, Nisa agreed with Aiya's plan of action which entailed a massive distraction. As they neared the structure the bounty hunter described, Aiya unlocked the doors and pushed her own open and instructed Ulfric to take hold of Nisa and do the same. Pushing the nose of the ship downward, it careened downward and the three Jedi leapt from the ship just as it slammed into side of the building and violently exploded. From within, Aiya could sense many deaths in the explosion as she landed along the roof with a forward roll. She drew her lightsaber and instructed Ulfric to leave Nisa in a safe place where she could deliver aerial intel to the two as they progressed.
Once Nisa was safely in position, the two made their way into the ventilation shafts just as they had before. The guild was in disarray and many of the members were dead. The two sensed a dark presence within the guild; it was a Dark Jedi. Escaping the ventilation shafts, they landed in the guild hall and drew their weapons as they were fired upon. Quickly working to deflect the blaster bolts back, to those who fired which struck and killed them. Aiya rushed along the side of the room, moving toward a loading platform which was loaded with three stasis chambers. Just as she neared them, the hum of a lightsaber rung in her ears and as though by instinct, spun and parried a strike from a crimson red blade. The Dark Jedi had revealed himself, and the Bounty Hunter they were hunting dropped down from the hole in the roof with a bound Nisa over his shoulder. Aiya held the saber lock as the Dark Jedi patronized her, sensing her fear, hatred and anger. Throwing Nisa's body to the ground, the Bounty Hunter drew Nisa's lightsaber, assuming the stance of Form III. The Dark Jedi had trained this bounty hunter to be a Jedi Hunter aswell. Ulfric charged down to the bounty hunter and quickly engaged him in battle while Aiya held her guard against the Dark Jedi.
Employing the Force Valor technique, Aiya broke the saberlock and quickly began a powerful assault in which she utilized her mastered ability in Shii-Cho. The battle wavered back and forth, more so in the Dark Jedi's favor. A connection was made in her mind; it was her master's voice which spoke to her. It seemed that even in stasis, the force worked through him and Yuuso attempted to employ the Force Meld technique. The Dark Jedi revealed himself to be of mastered-class, whether he was boasting she knew not. Feeling invigorated, Aiya shifted tactics and began employing her skill in Makashi to shatter the Dark Jedi's defense. After a flurry of intricate maneuver's, the young Jedi severed the Dark Jedi's hands and dismembered on his his legs. The death of the Dark Jedi had distracted the bounty hunter enough for Ulfric to behead him and turn his sights upon the still living Dark Jedi. He had declared that he should not live, and that Aiya should execute him for the greater good. The two began a vicious argument which resulted in Ulfric's attempt to push Aiya aside and kill the Dark Jedi. Forcing out her palm, Aiya hurled the Human Jedi across the room with a violent force push.
Now angered, Ulfric turned his rage upon Aiya. Believing that she was in leagues with the Dark Jedi, he moved to attack and a vicious battle began between the two Padawans. Aiya refused to fight back, instead taking a defensive position and pleading with him to stop. His actions pained Aiya as she believed him to be one of her only friends; she did not wish to bring him any kind of harm. But once it seemed that his rage had blinded him, Aiya knew she needed to to disarm him before she would be able to get through to him. With one last force push, she hurled his body back against their crashed cruiser to which knocked his breath away, causing him to slump over in a daze.
Aiya left Ulfric to calm himself and moved toward Aiya's bound body. Severing her bindings, she helped the injured Twi'lek to her feet before turning and moving back toward the three stasis tanks and freeing their masters. It would take a few moments before they came to. Ulfric, attempting to cut her down as she tended to their masters, took up Nisa's saber and launched himself into Aiya's body. Nisa then threw herself in the way, taking the strike for Aiya. The loss was far too great, Aiya felt Nisa's life fade and Ulfric's own corrupted by the Darkside. Her childhood friends were gone and all that was left was a Dark Jedi. Out of anger, Aiya spun around and drew her blade as Ulfric was stunned by his own actions. Before he could raise his defense, Aiya quickly severed his head and hurled his body off through a window and into the streets of Nar Shaddaa. She collapsed to her knees and wept. All the pain and loss of not only her friends, but of her parents had consumed the young Nautolan. It wasn't until a firm hand fell over her shoulder that she realized her master and the other two Knights had awakened and were tending to the bodies of their Padawans.
It took many months for Aiya to overcome the grief of the death of her friends, one of which by her hand. With Battlemaster Yuuso's guidance, she had come to terms with her ordeal and the two continued their duties throughout the galaxy. Aiya continued her training valiantly and worked hard to master Form IV. She became renowned as a skilled duelist; powerful in mind, body and in the force.
After four years, the Dark Jedi's activities seemed to diminish for a time which granted the Jedi Order time to settle. At the age of twenty-two, Aiya was deemed worthy of Knighthood having passed her trials of skill, courage, flesh and of the spirit during her time and service to the Jedi Order. With her ascension to status of Jedi Knight, this marked not only the beginning of her time as a full-fledged Jedi, but also the end of her Master's. Aiya was to be his last Padawan before the Jedi retired from both the council and the Order after seventy-nine years of service. The mission on Nar Shaddaa proved that he was far too old to continue the path of a Jedi and during Aiya's knighting ceremony, presented her his Electrum lightsaber.
Having become a Jedi Knight, Aiya was now free to do as she pleased within the council's mandate. While now free to take on an apprentice of her own, she felt as though she was not yet ready to harbor the responsibility as there was much she needed to master in the Force, with the blade and within herself. It was only a few weeks after her Knighting Ceremony that she was contacted by one of the Master of the Jedi Order. A renowned Consular by the name of Boolon Donis had requested her council. After a short conversation, Boolon offered to extend her training to help her deal with the inner-turmoil that churned deep within her mind.
Boolon instructed her further in the Force and the philosophies behind it. Lessons in the living force and more meditation practices helped ease her mind and grant her a new clarity. Alongside this training, Boolon furthered her training in the sense aspects of the force. Despite his status as a Consular, the Ithorian Master was quite skilled Form VI, also known as Niman. Her began instructing her in the style, teaching her the basics and fundamental principles behind the style. Because of her advanced ability with the force push and pull techniques, she was a perfect candidate to learn the form as it employed such force maneuvers. Aiya trained beneath Boolon until it came time for him to take on yet another Padawan. From there, Aiya took training into her own hands. Studying the archives and various holocrons which held the information she sought to learn about the style. This continued for a year as she continued to increase her mastery of the force through meditation, force exercises and both saber and physical training. After the year of training with Boolon, Aiya continued her campaign throughout the galaxy.
Aiya meditated within the meditation spire of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Her body hovered a few inches above the ground while her ignited lightsaber swirled gently around her body. Employing one of the many meditation techniques taught to her by Boolon, Aiya was at peace. The sound of her com-link broke her focus as she lowered herself to the ground. Guiding it from its position on the floor to her hand and answered the call. She was summoned by the Jedi Council and received an urgent mission in the Karthakk system. She was further informed that they had tracked a series of illegal weapon's origin to the system and believed their production plant was in fact stationed on this planet. Aiya was to lead a strike team to infiltrate the factory and destroy it. If at all possible, they were to capture the head of the factory and bring them back to Coruscant to pay for crimes against the republic.
Aiya made her way to the briefing room where she met up with the five Jedi Knights that would be serving under her command. The council trusted in her experience to lead this team and she had no intention of letting them down. Accompanying them on the mission would be the Bravo team of the Republic military's special operations unit. After the briefing was complete, they boarded a Republic military freighter and departed for the Karthakk System.
Breaking from hyperspace, they found themselves moving into orbit of planet Nod Kartha. Their sensors quickly picked up a communication relay stretching almost twenty kilometers. There was a mining plant located deep within one of the planets many valleys and two other larger structures on opposite sides of the valley. Before touching down, Aiya instructed Bravo team along with two Jedi Knights to drop from orbit to the mining facilities and attempt to draw any resistance inward. The remaining four Jedi Knights, Aiya included, would split into teams of two and clear the two facilities at both ends of the mining plant. With their plans finalized, Bravo team and the two Jedi Knights suited up for the orbital drop and entered the airlock. Once secured, it was opened and the team leapt from the ship and descended upon the mining plant.
The ship entered orbit shortly after receiving word that Bravo team had touched down. The facility was quickly alerted of their presence and they relayed information stating that the facility was guarded by an entire battalion of battle droids. With Bravo team pinned down and in dire need of assistance, Aiya requested that one of the Jedi Knights remain on the ship to provide aeiral support with the ship's forward cannons while she alone attempted to take one of the facilities leaving two Jedi Knights to deal with the other. Agreeing upon the plan, the ship entered the atmosphere and descended upon the nearest facility in which Aiya disembarked upon the roof. The ship lifted off into the air and quickly soared off toward the other facility to drop the two Jedi off and provide support to Bravo team.
Aiya progressed cautiously, careful to move between sensors and cameras to avoid tripping alarms. Drawing one of her sabers, she ignited it and carved a hole in one of the ventilation shafts and leapt in. Sliding downward, she reached a vent which gave her a visual of the factory floor. It seemed that they were in fact creating illegal weaponry, but also developing some form of chemical weaponry. The factory was managed mainly by droid-workers, but there were a few Bith and Faust scientist moving between the heavy machinery. With further observation, she noticed various heavily armed battle droids guarding the exits. This led Aiya to believe that these scientists were here against their will.
Escaping the vent, she dropped down silently onto the factory floor; careful not to rouse the droid's sensors. Moving carefully, Aiya sought to come into contact with one of the scientists in hopes of discovering the origin of these facilities. She came upon a frail and sickly Bith in a dirtied technician's coat, crouching beneath the shadows of a conveyor belt. Drawing upon the force, Aiya telekinetically seized a macrofuser from from the Bith's toolbelt and gently hoisted it up from his belt. Guiding it toward the conveyor, she allowed it to drop a few paces behind the Bith, which would draw his attention in her direction. Jumping frantically, the Bith quickly turned and trembled as his eyes shifted around the factory floor. The scientist quickly scurried over to pick up his tool but tripped over his foot and fell flat on his stomach just inches from Aiya. His eyes widened and just as he opened his mouth to yelp, Aiya covered his lips with her palm while dragging the Bith under the conveyor. Once she introduced herself as a Jedi Knight, the Bith calmed his nerves and explained the situation. The scientists were being held captive by high-ranking members of the Sith political party to create illegal weapons to help strengthen their military's power.
Aiya informed the Bith of her mission to destroy the facilities to ensure these weapons never reach the black-markets or the Sith Military. After much thought, the scientist came up with a plan for him and his colleagues to escape their enslavement. The security detail around the facility had nearly doubled as the two other facilities were being raided. This made Aiya's mission all the more difficult. The facility housed a wide assortment of explosive materials, which if ignited could scorch the surface of the planet for many miles around. Aiya's plan was quite risky, her very life in danger if the slightest mistake was made.
After instructing the Bith scientist to inform the others of her plan, she waited for them all to fall into position farthest from the exit. Once everything was set, Aiya quickly moved from her cover and drew her lightsaber. This quickly drew the attention of the battledroids, causing them to draw their weapons and fire upon the Jedi. Between deflecting the bolts, and leaping between machinery, Aiya was doing a fairly decent job of attracting the droid's attention. Simultaneously, the scientists moved crept around the far side of the factory and made their escape. Once the first step was complete, she turned on the offensive and began pressing her assault against the droids. With her nimble footing and mastery of the force, she cut down the battalions of droids in her aggressive ballet of saber combat. Aiya contacted the other two strike teams, informing them to retreat back to the ship and make their way to the roof of this facility. While she awaited their retreat, she began rigging the factory floor with makeshift explosives, timers and tools left behind by the scientists. Though fate was not on Aiya's side as one of the timers malfunctioned and was set to blow in only forty-five seconds. She knew she lacked the technological knowledge to stop the timer, nor did she wish to tamper with the bomb, so she ran. Leaping from machine to machine to gain a higher ground, she made her way back into the ventilation shafts and quickly escaped to the roof.
Just as she reached the top, the building shook violently as the bomb erupted and in turn ignited the others. In the horizon, the ship quickly descended upon the roof just as the ground beneath her feet began to crack and explode upward. Aiya moved quickly, utilizing the force to enhance her senses, reflexes and movements, she rushed forward, and leapt from the building in a burst of force energy. The ship, unable to move any closer due to the explosion, veered to the side as the building erupted. With the force blanketing her body, Aiya was forced use the force of the explosion to hurl her body close enough to the ship to catch one of the wings of the ship. She struck it violently, the wing catching her in the stomach. The force was enough to knock her breath away and cause her to choke up. She slid down the wing, unable to move and slowly began to black out. Just before she fell to her death, the airlock opened and she was caught by one of the special ops members who quickly pulled her into the ship while another sealed the airlock. The ship veered along and pulled up into the atmosphere. The mission was a success. Upon their return to the Jedi Temple, Aiya was commended for her many accomplishments during her tenure as a Jedi Knight. The Council believed that, while she had not trained a Padawan, she had earned the rank of Master due to her service to the Jedi Order. Aiya graciously accepted the honor and became a Jedi Master. The next seven years were spent training and accompanying Jedi Knights on a wide array of high-priority missions. This did not impede upon her training, though she became far more active in the daily dealings of the Jedi Order. By 3602 BBY, Aiya had spent much time on Dantooine assisting the Jedi Enclave there. She served as both a teacher and a mission leader for missions commissioned by the High Council.

Jedi Master Aiya Nobos had just finished her morning run and meditation cycle and was walking through the temple with a holo-pad, looking over the files of the new arrivals. She was well aware that they had already arrived, and she was supposed to be there to greet them. But, she believed everything in good time. She would go to them now. Besides, she had never been late in her life, a Jedi Master arrives precisely when she means to. Aiya giggled quietly, her old master had said that too many times to count.
As she walked through the Enclave, many Jedi greeted her with respect. She nodded to those under her and responded to other masters and Knights that passed her by. She eventually made it outside. Stopping at the top step, Aiya took in a big breath of the morning air. The temple guards saluted her and she nodded to them. Aiya then made her way down the steps and over to the group of younglings. She was about fifteen feet away when she heard the last student introduce themselves. She then walked up and stepped into the gap between two other Masters and nodded to both of them. She then let her black eyes gaze over the new students, a smirking expression on her face. They did not fill her with confidence, then again, that's why they were here. A few already had training lightsabers.
"I am Jedi Master Nobos," he said in a warm and gentle voice. "The Masters here before you and I are here to help you with anything you can think of. Do not be afraid to ask us for anything. I must emphasize that you must not be afraid. You may think you are alone, but the other children that came with are the same as you, whether you accept it or not." Aiya said in a strict tone. "It is a great honor to be given the chance you have been given. It has never been done before, because children like you are special. You should feel honored, and humbled by this experience. It is my hope that each of us would be fast friends." Aiya then looked at all of their faces with an warm smile. "Now, I'm sure you have questions. Most of your questions will be answered over the process of your training, but if you have anything you want to ask or say to any of us, you may do so now."

Glee Anselem
(3640 - 3636 BBY)
The Life of a Jedi
Coruscant
(3636 - 3630 BBY)
Coruscant
(3636 - 3630 BBY)
The Battlemaster's Padawan

Coruscant
(3630 - 3625 BBY)
Deadly Silence On Tund
Tund

Tund
(3625 BBY)
Arrival On Illum

The Order Master's Instruction

Nar Shaddaa
(3622 BBY)
