The white room that surrounded the Shirtless Red Togruta who lay on the Grayish Cot being examined by a Zabrack Healer.
It was a different face that the Padawan was used to, for his last few visits he had only seen Mal Konti and only been treated by the Hutt. Of coarse he also had his own things to deal with losing his hand and all.
"Very good Gharassk..." He began speaking to The Red skinned Padawan, "Your wounds are completely healed you can be taken off the pain killers and another bonus is that the wound left minimal scaring. It will be noticeable for the rest of your life but it shouldn't ever hurt. Let's call this your last visit and you're good to go."
Gharassk spoke as he sat up, Thanks, and I'll be glad to get off those meds they weren't exactly good tasteing. He gave a smile as he pulled his Grey under tunic back onto his bare body and slid off the Cot.
He handed the Medicine to the Zabrack and grabbed the rest of his robes on his way out of the med area of the temple and headed his way to the library, by the time he had entered his robes where fully on and belted down.
He sat down at the first table computer that was unoccupied and began typing before he remembered that this was the same table he had meet Deenar at before, he peaked around half expecting to see him sitting there but saw only a empty seat. Gharassk had yet another full day to himself.
He let a sigh out wishing he could be assigned out of the temple again, but as his punishment for running away even though he had good reason; was confinement to the temple at least for the time being. Gharassk was actually happy that he had such a good reason for leaving the mission other wise he may have been banned all together. Of coarse even good reasons had their faults his permanent scar under his chest was proof of that.
His mind was going back to it over and over how his former master had no remorse in stabbing Gharassk.
He stopped thinking about the negative and continued on the computer expanding his knowledge on saber combat he hadn't learned about. His routine was as general as it could have been, Get up go to the lunch hall, study, train, eat some more, study and train some more until night, he was ready to go to bed at which point he would either check out a book and read a chapter or so, or study more.
He had time galore but nothing to do...

Anahid furrowed her brow as she looked down at the lightsaber across from her – it pained her to see it in such a state. Of course, it was still operational, in fact, as far as lightsabers went, Anahid had never had a problem with it – coming to life at the smallest of her commands. It lay by her in during her most difficult times and had become a reliable ally regardless of the situation; but its age was beginning to show.
The grip had begun to tear, the black leather slowly drying out, becoming brittle to the touch. Creases had begun to appear, stretching across the broken pelt. The silver shade that had stretched far and wide was now scratched and dull, a nasty result of being thrown and dropped in more than one occasion. Whatever surface could still be considered ‘pristine’ had not been unscathed, and, instead, found refuge beneath a heavy layer of grime and oil. It bothered her a little that she had become so careless with her friend, he that had been with her through thick and thin. Looking at each scratch was like looking at a closed chapter in her life and now, Anahid realized, that a new one was about to begin.
Repairing her saber had been a thought she contemplated before, mostly the days she didn’t have something to do in particular. The thought came and went rather quickly, fleeting thoughts that never stayed for too long. But with each passing year it was becoming clear to Anahid that something needed to be done with it. She needed to be more caring to her saber. That particular afternoon her mind was made – she would repair her blade.
Of course, she had no experience in the area save once before – but that had been many years ago, ten years ago to be more precise, and whatever knowledge she had learned was long gone. She could always bother Lorssk to help her, the Bothan always had a knack for things like this. But, then again, he would only make her try – she was old enough to do these things on her own. Well, fine, she would try – what was the worst that could happen? She grimaced. She could always destroy it and leave it beyond repairable, that’s what she could do.
Anahid’s hand coiled around the lithe hilt and walked out the door. For a minute she stopped, how exactly was she going to do this? She wasn’t entirely sure herself; but, perhaps a book in the library would help. The archives were grand after all, full of knowledge that varied from the strange to even the mundane. Surely they had a book dealing with lightsaber repairs. Anahid smiled as she walked, hand clasped tightly around the saber. The walk was nothing exceptional, save for a familiar face or two. When the human finally arrived to the Library, the conversation with the librarian was short-lived – niceties were exchanged, a short conversation regarding the weather, followed shortly by an inquiry on the long-sought-after books. With a direction set and a small thank you, Anahid made her way deep into the library, eyes scanning for the number she was given.
But no avail. There was no book to be found.
After a few minutes of continuous search, Anahid found herself chewing at the inside of her cheeks. Well, this was a little frustrating. Shaking her head, the Sentinel approached the first available figure – a Togruta male sitting not too far ahead.
“Excuse me, but out of curiosity do you know where the lightsaber repair books are located? I believe I’m a little lost.”[/color]

Gharassk was now on the subject of Backhanded Shein when he had to stop reading his eye's had begin to hurt. He rubbed his eye's a bit when he felt only a tremor of a familiar presence. Which was common to him as he lived in the building that all others he knew did.
Gharassk looked around a bit before seeing Anahid whom had taken him on a mission with he before, along with their meeting in the gardens when they had first met. It had been a short while sense he had seen her, he wanted to say hello, but thought better of it when he noticed she was in a bit of a hurry.
He returned to his Computer, and got only a few more paragraphs before he heard her voice, “Excuse me, but out of curiosity do you know where the lightsaber repair books are located? I believe I’m a little lost.”
Gharassk looked up well knowing who it was, But out of teasing he wanted to see how long it would take her to recognize him, He changed his voice a bit Uhh i can pull it up here on the computer.
He type in the question and a map of the second floor popped up.
It's up stares fifteenth row.
He gave a half glance to see if she had caught on to Gharassk's voice change.

“Uhh i can pull it up here on the computer.”
Relief washed over Anahid as the male gave a nod, typing away into the computer he sat in front of. She was glad that someone was around in her moment of confusion; generally, when the human found herself in a similar situation, she would walk aimlessly for hours without end. Eyes would scan one are of her surroundings to another, furrowing her brow in curiosity. It was a bit distracting, cumbersome at times, but it didn’t particularly annoy her. In fact, comparing it to the monotony that days could sometimes have, she found it to be quite refreshing. Of course, when Lorssk had the displeasure of accompanying her in said occasions, the Bothan would roll his eyes and sigh with heavy irritation. Anahid could assume that getting lost was not something that everyone enjoyed.
It was in her musings that a little thought occurred to her: something felt oddly familiar. An essence, one could say, she had encountered before. It wasn’t as if it had just arrived, interrupted her in her search; no, it was a presence that had been dangling before her for a while, except that she had been too thick to pick it up initially. She really was particularly lost that day.
“It's up stares fifteenth row.”
It was then that it suddenly hit her, the presence and the voice connected at last. The Togruta male that sat before her was no stranger, but in fact it was a Padawan she had the pleasure of meeting more than once. She had met Gharassk a few months earlier along another padawan – they had been unable to sleep and she had joined them in the Gardens. Later on, as a favor to his instructors, she had taken the Togruta with her to a mission on the moon of Dxun, where the Mandalorian, Carja Jinn, had made his presence known. But, after that, she had fallen out of touch with the Padawan, her duties requiring all of her attention, taking her off to distant planets she had never before had the pleasure of visiting.
“Upstairs? I see; thank you for your help, Gharassk.” Anahid smiled, tilting her head sideways as she spoke. “I didn’t expect to see you here. How are you?”

Gharassk let on a smile, relieved that she finally got put a name on him.
Going back to his normal voice: Nice to see you, I was wondering if you would ever guess, It's a relief to be able to use my real voice. It has been awhile. He joked then she asked how he was doing, Been better. In a hurry to change the subject, not out of fear of telling her what happened but simply to see how she was and why she needed saber repair books, How are you? He looked to her saber that was still in her fist and saw a saber that had been through a lot. He let her answer before he spoke again. I can tell why you need to make repairs. He pointed to the hilt.
He took his off his blade to compare damage to the hilt, his was still in good condition only a few scratches and the shine that was there when he made it was long gone from hours of keeping it in his grip and sweating on the hilt in training halls. He took his sleeve and rubbed it a bit to reveal a bit of the shine.
Mine isn't half as bad as yours, then again it isn't half as old either. He held it so she could get a look at it if she had wanted.

“I’ve been well; I have been given enough time to relax.” Her smile was soft and relaxed, as she looked on at the young padawan. It was strange, the woman admitted, Gharassk looked the same and yet he looked so different; as if he had suddenly matured. “I can tell why you need repairs,” The voice suddenly shook her from her thoughts, forcing Anahid to lower her eyes to the hilt in her hand. She smiled sheepishly, giving a small sigh – it was slightly embarrassing, to tell the truth. As a knight she should know better by now, to treat her saber with respect not like it was disposable or replaceable. “Y-yes,” Her voice was slow, as if taking great precaution with what she said, “…it has been a while since I had the opportunity to fix it.”
Now that she thought about it, how long ago had it been -- ten or eight years? Perhaps it had even been longer; honestly, Anahid couldn’t remember it at all. Her curious eyes fell upon Gharassk’s hands as they retrieved a hilt of his own. When the blade was offered, the woman took it in her hand, a small thanks exchanged towards the Togruta as she began to examine it. It was definitely younger, without a frequent exposure to the harshness of battle. In appearance it was still glimmering, a few scratches were visible, but they could still be missed. She rolled the hilt in her palm, quietly examining it. It was strange to feel another lightsaber in her hand – the weight was foreign, the shape unusual – where her own blade nestled comfortably in her hand, this one felt awkward. But, it was still a good saber – just very different from hers.
“It’s a blade that will get much experience, a good blade.” Though she did hope padawans did not experience war as often in the future.

Gharassk felt odd, part of him wondered if she had known what he had done yet.
He wasn't exactly going to bring it up but he knew what he would say if the random question was asked.
She compared her saber to his almost, it was odd to see someone else with his tool, his constant companion, “It’s a blade that will get much experience, a good blade.”
It has Had it's share. But thank you. You want help hunting the book down? I don't got much else to do. He said looking back to the table, with the computer and he downloaded the information onto a data book for his own use later.
Just study....

The Togruta seemed – apprehensive, to a certain extent. Careful with what he was saying, avoiding topics altogether. It was strange, but not unusual, there were many people in the Order recently that harbored that behavior. However, it was still rather troubling and as the male took the saber from her hand, she couldn’t help herself. “Is something bothering you, Gharassk?” But, perhaps it was best if she didn’t ask. If Gharassk didn’t want to talk about what was bothering him, there really was no reason for the woman to press on – she didn’t want to force him to share something with her. So, instead, she refocused her attention, forcing a small nod.
“Oh, I would greatly appreciate it, yes.” Honestly, it would be quite helpful; after all, considering how long it took her to look around the library without any particular luck, a second pair of eyes would come in handy. Taking a step back, she motioned for the Togruta to follow. They walked slowly, making their way towards the staircase as he spoke.
“Studying is good, Gharassk – it will aid you in future exploits.” She added with a small laugh; though, quite frankly, she couldn’t blame him – he was getting in that age when he would start questioning the necessity of study as many of her peers had previously done. “A Jedi cannot be without studying, to a certain extent – as well as we know how to fight, we need to know about the Galaxy that surrounds us too.”

“Is something bothering you, Gharassk?” So she had noticed but didn't know quite yet. That was fine he might bring it up if there needed to be a topic for discussion in a moment, but for now she continued speaking, “Oh, I would greatly appreciate it, yes.” Gharassk nodded and shut the computer down as he fallowed her.
“Studying is good, Gharassk – it will aid you in future exploits... A Jedi cannot be without studying, to a certain extent – as well as we know how to fight, we need to know about the Galaxy that surrounds us too.”
Oh I don't doubt that, it's just for a little over three weeks that's all I've gotten to do really... He smiled at her a bit as the made their way to the Top level and on their way to the 15th row.
You where right, Not sure if you heard but I'm confined to the temple...I'm not innocent, but neither am I guilty, In truth the council is in the same posistion.
He shrugged, Maybe I'll tell you more when we find your book.
He pointed as he stopped at the 15th row, Should be here somewhere.

“Ah,” A breathless laugh escaped Anahid, “yes, I suppose studying that long can have that effect on people.” They walked slowly as they talked, Anahid’s arms crossed securely across her stomach ;actually, now that she thought about it, she shared the very same feelings when she was his age. Anahid had never found studying particularly engaging; yes, she did well in her classes, excelled at them in fact, but she didn’t care for them. “Between you and me, I wouldn’t want to study for that long either.” The knight smiled momentarily before reverting her attention to the bookshelves before them – stacked full with tomes of all colors and shapes. Now, where exactly was it?
There we go – stuck in the corner besides a thick green book with bent corners, was the one she was looking for. She reached out to the copy instinctively and took it in her hand. She turned it, examined it carefully; hopefully this would be all she needed. But as she secured the book within her arms, Gharassk’s voice suddenly interrupted her thoughts. The confinement, the Council’s decision, the actions in Druckenwell – Anahid froze momentarilybefore softening her gaze. Her brow furrowed deeply as she turned to look at the Togruta.
“I heard the rumors,” But, sometimes rumors were nothing more than that, exaggerated tales often full of misinformation. They were often accounts taken out of proportion, and while she had heard of the young Togruta’s actions in Druckenwell, she was never one to judge. To every story, Anahid knew well, there were many sides, many discerning views. However, it was troubling that the boy had endangered himself in such a reckless way – he was far too young, perhaps even irrational – as any teenager was – to fully comprehend the seriousness of the situation. Yes, he was innocent, but he was also at fault – it could have cost him so much, far more than a couple of weeks of confinement.

Gharassk nodded, it was one of those times where he would need to speak up.
Yeah...
It probably isn't as bad as it sounds.
I didn't have much of a choice, My former master i told you about, wanted me alone, if i had gotten help he would have killed the prisoners.
When i got there he tried to get me to turn to the dark side, which was a fail on his part, but when the time came he of coarse didn't hold to his end and attempted to kill me.
I only survived because the force was with me, he stabbed me in the gut, and it just so happened that the Jedi Healer Mal Konti was on the world already, along with the weapons master Teer Ka, They defeated him and saved me probably by the skin in my pointed teeth.
Gharassk walked back to where Anahid was, after seeing she had found the book.
So it comes down to me disobeying orders and helping others or trying to have gotten help and them die. In the long run i think i made the right choice, even with consequences, and the council is only punishing me half as bad as it could be i guess, and only for dissobeying.
He folded his arms feeling strange, he had become rather well known thanks to these rumors, it was a strange feeling going to bed one day and waking up with every other Jedi and his Master knowing your name, and not exactly for good reasons.
Gharassk was slowly changing that name though.
Just think a few people should know more then the stories.

“So it seems.” The Force truly was mysterious, working in ways none could understand. It was beautiful, wonderful, and gratifying; yet, one should not tempt it, it was unwise to do such things. It was unnecessary, arrogant even. Anahid listened to the story Gharassk told, however, never interrupting the young Padawan. Instead, the Jedi Knight found herself chewing on her cheeks, thoughts crossing her mind faster than she could process them to their full extent. What exactly had Gharassk been thinking?! Such haughty actions, true actions of someone who had yet to receive full training in the Order. These were actions that made Anahid frown and be thankful that they had not occurred when she had him accompany her in her last mission.
But, it was difficult for her to admit Gharassk’s full fault, if the roles had been changed, maybe she would have done the same. Speculations, however, should be left unsaid. For now, all that mattered was Gharassk’s actions. They had been foolish to say the least, stimulated by the right feelings, but foolish nonetheless. He had endangered his life, the life of the prisoners, as well as that of two other Jedi – granted, they could handle their own, but still. If there had been more of them, if the decision came to saving their life to saving that of the prisoners, the outcome would have been much different. After all, Anahid knew this well enough. Creatures like that make sure to strike at one’s weakest points – whether it be passion, pride, or even a need to protect others.
“I know it’s difficult to understand, Gharassk,” Anahid started, her brow furrowed as coffee-colored eyes studied the Padawan, “but in this life, we are subjected to scrutiny, especially by that of our elders.” She hesitated slightly, before lowering her eyes to the book she held. “I don’t agree with it, believe me, nor do I like it. However, it is a part of life.” As Jedi they were always in someone’s sight; they were always being studied, always being judged. They were meant to carry themselves with honor and poise, protectors of the Galaxy. Gharassk’s actions, thus, would have never gone unnoticed.
“But these things, they do get erased by time, especially when you rise into Knighthood and prove the worthiness of your actions.” It was all true. Even if things looked bleak for the Togruta that had gained infamy in the Jedi Temple, it would be erased. He was not the first Padawan to readily endanger his life and those of others through foolish actions, but it would never be the last. She knew it and the Council knew it as well. All he could do now was learn from his mistakes, to ensure that he never did something like that again.
“You are brave and that is an impressive quality; however, you must think things through.”

“You are brave and that is an impressive quality; however, you must think things through.”
Gharassk looked back, Had he been unthoughtful? not that he thought, he did however have little choice, it was tell people and get all the captives killed, or go alone and have at least a chance of saving them. He thought that sacrificing himself to save others no matter the cost to himself was something he was supposed to do.
But nonetheless he had been given council, by a friend, council he would take.
Thank you Anahid, I wasn't being rash, i had little choice as i said, but...If i had time to think things through perhaps i would have chanced it and done things differently, That is yet another reason i am not a Knight and you are. Things could have been much different indeed.
But now let us get off this subject and onto that of your book? Gharassk smiled looking up at Anahid, when they got to work they would have other things to talk about, but he did not need any more time thinking on his own failures at the moment.

Anahid knew that the Togruta had taken her words completely out of context. Where she had meant concern, Gharassk had heard a warning – harsh words that further reflected what many of the Order thought. It was a bit upsetting, clearly reflected as Anahid furrowed her brow, chewing intently on the inside of her cheeks. She could hear the disappointment in his voice, but it was quickly replaced by something different as the male spoke. He was defending himself, words he had probably been using again and again. She couldn’t blame him, however, many would react the same way. Granted, most of them were twice his age, experience knights or masters within the order, but she had seen similar reactions before. She chuckled as Gharassk spoke about his limited options, about he was dragged into the situation with little choice on his part.
Little choice; now, wasn’t that a silly thought?
This life was all about choices; endless, unavoidable, and sometimes irrational choices. When one was made, the others were voided, only to be presented by a new array of choices to be made. Yes, no – left or right, it all boiled down to the decision one reached. Yes, fate sometimes voided the possibility to reach a decision, but there were always loopholes, excuses that one could use to escape. It was important to learn this early on, it could definitely change the outcome in battle. Of course, Gharassk was too young to realize this, too ingenuous in a way. When he made his decision, Anahid knew he had reached it without careful consideration. He had been fully manipulated, told what he wanted to hear – give a life to save a life. In his eyes, Anahid figured, he had been stripped of all options, left bare to follow under the guidance of someone else, his previous Master.
And yet, it was slightly troublesome; Gharassk had also shown slight pride, in Anahid’s opinion, convinced that he could take matters into his own two hands without the assistance of a Master, the one in charge of his safety. Did he not realize in how much of a compromising situation she had placed the two Jedi under? No matter; there was no use in dwelling in the past – they were all safe, and that was the only thing that mattered.
“Yes, it would be best not to dwell on it any longer,” a small smile crossed the Sentinel’s lips, Anahid’s attention shifting from the Padawan that stood across from her to the silent book in her hands. She shifted slightly, eyeing its dark cover and rugged exterior – clearly a book that had seen many visitors in its life. She shifted slightly, her weight moving from one leg to the other as Anahid began to walk.
It didn’t take long for the duo to find themselves on the first floor once more, looking for an empty table amongst the endless rows. When they finally did, Anahid found herself approaching the table rather briskly. With a little ‘thump’ Anahid placed the book down, a faint pleasant smile crossing her lips. She considered starting to work at this point, as she reached down to fix her regalia, though she quickly decided against it – it would make too much noise, become far too distracting for those trying to study in the library.
“I probably won’t be able to use this until later today,” Anahid mentioned in hopes of finding a more lighthearted conversation, “perhaps tonight after meditation. I’ve never quite done this before, so I will need as much quiet as the Temple can provide.” She laughed, an easy, breathy laugh that disappeared just as quickly as it had come. It must be ridiculous, watching a Knight her age struggling to fix her saber for the very first time. Thus, when Anahid shifted her eyes towards the Togruta, she wasn’t particularly surprised to see an amused smile spreading through his lips.

Gharassk did smile at the Seated Anahid, as it looked like she was expecting,
Well, I've never "Fixed" a lightsaber, but i can't imagine it being to terribly different from making one.
He shrugged moving to his chair across from Anahid,
So then...now what? You still gonna want my help later on with the saber?

“You may have a point,” Anahid admitted with a small smile, glancing momentarily at her lightsaber before turning her attention to the book once more. “but I am sure it does have a certain ‘trick’ to it as well.” Anahid chewed on her lip as she flipped through the pages. She glanced up at the sound of movement, long enough to watch as Gharassk settled on the chair across from her. The book smelled of dust and old yellowed pages which made the woman smile. It was always nice to go back and appreciate the tomes, which many of the younger generations often chose to ignore.
Anahid shifted, crossing her legs as Gharassk spoke again. While the offer of the extra help was tempting, Anahid quickly declined with a shake of her head. “Ah, no, thank you. I will be fine, Gharassk.” It was something she needed to do on her own. It would be strange otherwise, especially with someone she barely knew. To some that fleeting thought may appear strange, but to Anahid Reisier, it meant everything. It meant every moment the process had first began, the two crystals Karem had entrusted her with, to the many missions and fights they had been through. Through love and loss, this blade had been with her and would probably stay with her until the very bitter end. She couldn’t let it go, she couldn’t let this moment be lost.
“Though, if I have any questions, I will be sure to ask.”

Gharassk powered on his monitor and began the long study again, Anahid had turned his offer down which was fine, Gharassk was just mainly wanting to do something new but study was fine.
Alright... I'll see ya' around...
((OOC---Seams like a good end point so))
