Hey guys, as you have noticed my activity level (outside of getting characters reviewed and approved) has been waaaaay down and I think that deserves a little explanation for those of you who are new or don't speak with me on Skype and are wondering what happened to your darling Civilian Mod and Cbox Patrol Person.
A month or so ago I spilled tea on my laptop breaking the keyboard, I got by for a while with just an external keyboard but it was an old hand me down and the cable frayed and fell apart, rendering that useless as well. That happened last week or so, and I've either been communicating with on screen keyboard (and driving people insane with the audible click clack sound it makes when I'm clicking the letters) or on my phone since.
On top of this I'm moving from Miami, Florida to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to live with my long time boyfriend, your favorite Sith Mod, Cain. I've spent the last month or so packing and getting things ready for this move and the truck comes on this Friday to whisk about 20 years worth of possessions and a ton of salvaged furniture and donated pieces from my family.
Next week is my finals for culinary school (I'm making a wedding cake!) as well as lots of goodbyes and whatnot before I catch my flight on the 28th. Needless to say I'm going to be pretty busy, but the fun doesn't stop there!
Cain and I still have to get some things settled with our apartment as well as I need to hunt for a part time job, since I only have an unpaid internship at a bakery set up for right now, so we won't be formally moving into our new place for another week or so. I should be able to get on and do reviews and some sparse posting since Cain has a lovely computer and extra keyboard lined up for me already, but I'll be pretty busy still =/.
Once we get the lease signed, I get a paying job and we get settled in you'll see me poking around the cbox again.
I miss you all and I thank you for bearing with me. In case I can't seem to get your characters quick enough just shoot me a PM and I'll try and get to it as soon as possible, and I'm unable I'll try and ask one of the other mods for a hand.
