XD Thanks! Both his eyes work really but i liked to play with shadow and thought it looked cooler to have the other one lost in the darkness. ^__^ I'm glad you like him. He's TOO much fun to play.

Quick new upload for the new year. This was the long overdue image for Hotel. It's Asani! I spent a while working on the fur. OMG, hand crampage. Regardless, I enjoyed drawing this. I hope it isn't TOO far off what anyone else was thinking. This is sort of what I pictured when I RPed with her.

Okies, time for new art!! To those who have put in a request, please be patient with me. I haven't forgotten about you! I promise! It just takes a while to paint all these. I hope the wait will be worth it though for all of you. ^__^

On that note, this is a pic done for Talau! This is Aunna as requested by Arheim! ^__^ The thing she is holding is a Familiar and is the brain child of Arh. You should ask him if you want to know more. Hope this version of the Familiar looks ok, Arh. For those who know about the familiars, you may be asking yourself why it looks like a dragon but the reference image I had looked draconic and I ran with it.



And, as an added bonus, if any of you are curious what it looks like while I'm working on a piece, here are two WIP shots of the painting of the Familiar.

This is the initial throw down of color. This is what it looks like when I first slap some general idea of what shape I want onto the canvas.

This is a close up of the Familiar with some of the detail added in. I have slapped some lines over the color and then started the process of shading in the sections. You can see the spine is done already.

AAAAANNNNDDD as a last fun thing, I couldn't resist drawing something silly. I was playing forum games with Hax and in the "Fortunately, Unfortunately" thread, we were talking about Jedi Penguins...which led to the idea of a Padawan Penguin...also known now as a padaguin. XD Enjoy the silliness. It makes me squee.

Awww. YAY! I'm so glad you all liked what I drew! XD *dances the happy dance* The reactions of those the images are for more than makes the effort worth it. I love seeing the reactions. XD Heh. I'm thrilled it came out well. I had WAYYYYYY too much fun painting the Familiar so I look forward to the next one I get to do. I have to admit I've been looking at pics of ferrets to get some ideas..... <___< >___> ^___^ XD
