Name: Eaon Norellia
Race: Zelosian
Age: 22
Height: 6'2
Weight: 150

Eaon has something of a brash personality, preferring action to words on almost any day. Eaon believes he has a gift in the Force and that gift is the ability to make a difference and he believes that he should use it however he sees fit if it means making sure that the people he cares about survives. This is strongly due to the death of his Master and Close Friend Izumi. This in the past has caused Eaon to seek to serve the Republic more as a soldier than a Jedi. However after the Jedi Trials and several years of maturing, Eaon has calmed himself a bit and gained more insight on how matters work. Still, Eaon is not one to run from a fight and his training
However this also meant that Eaon needed to learn much self control in face of the enemy and danger. Having aggression fueling many of his passions particularly towards using the Force to destroy any traces of the Dark Jedi in the Galaxy. Likewise after the Trial of Spirit, Eaon had to face the idea that he was mortal. It wasn't that the idea of death had really bothered Eaon too much before, but rather the idea that the Dark Side could prolong life. It also forced Eaon to face the fact that if the time came he had to be able to give up his cause and let younger hands take over, or in an attempt to survive and continue working, he'd let his power over take him.
Still Eaon has a hard time removing his aggression from his life. Despite seeking a life of balance, Eaon prefers to be on the forefront of anything and everything. Eaon doesn't enjoy the idea of being on the sidelines and would rather take the fight to the enemy rather than sit back and watch it happen from the sidelines or operate in the shadows. Ironic, because Eaon's desired position is that of the Jedi Shadow.
Eaon is also a very confident person going into situations. As a Zelosian having to overcome his inability to see in the darkness gave Eaon a huge boost of confidence. Its one thing to live in the darkness for one's entire existence, it's a completely different thing to thrive in it. As a Jedi, it helped Eaon to understand the force a little better too. One simply didn't just live with the force around them and effecting them occassionally, it was everything that they did, everything that they were, and it could overcome almost any obstacle.
Eaon wouldn't consider his confidence a good trait for a leader though or anyone expected to rally people's support. Eaon has no experience commanding squads, or leading Jedi Projects. He has no skills in motivation or speech, he simply has faith in himself that he will do well. Eaon doesn't necessarily believe that all Jedi can perform to the caliber he can, likewise he doesn't believe that he can out perform every Jedi or Sith ever. Eaon is simply a person trying to do what he can where he's at in his life.
Birth place: Corellia
Faction: The Jedi Order
Rank:Knight- Jedi Sentinel
Bio:
Eaon was born to a lower middle class family on Corellia in the Capital City of Coronet. While never directly in danger of anything, Eaon did often see crimes, and hear about alleged Terrorist plots. Though Eaon was really too young to understand any of what that meant, he did understand very well that they were bad people doing bad things and someone ought to stop them. When Eaon was four though, apparently some like minded people had arrived who'd planned on dealing with the issue.
One was Jedi Knight Raavin Skyle, a Zabrak from Iridonia. Eaon couldn't really remember the first time he'd met Raavin, after all he was only four at the time, however he did know it was while he was playing outside behind his family's apartment. Raavin had been going somewhere, he'd always said he was going to help another Jedi with a criminal group he and some other Officers had managed to catch. However Raavin got stopped along the way when he noticed something about Eaon, that no one really paid attention to, probably because they didn't have the ability to.
Raavin always told Eaon after that he'd met with Eaon's parents and after seeing the Data on Eaon's birth coupled with what Raavin thought was the presence of the Force, Raavin could only conclude that Eaon was in fact Force Sensitive. About a week after that, Raavin and his partner had finished up their business on Corellia, and returned to ask Eaon's parents permission to take away their only child and train him. Eaon's parents were nervous at first, after all who wants to see their four year old sent off to a life of danger where they would likely never see that child again? Still though, they accepted thinking that even if they weren't around, the Jedi could offer Eaon a better future he couldn't have gotten on Corellia. With that Eaon, Raavin, and his partner Skiivale, left for the Jedi temple on Coruscant.
Once they'd hit Hyperspace, the curious young Eaon walked around the ship gawking in pure awe of the many electronic devices, systems, and just strange glowy things that composed the ship. Everything down to the astromech droids that were on board were so cool, Eaon had practically died and gone to heaven. The hours of Hyperspace travel seemed to tick so fast that it was almost a letdown when Eaon landed on Coruscant with his future master Raavin.
For a young child, landing on Coruscant after thinking you'd lived in the big city of Coronet all your life was really something spectacular. From the Jedi Temple one could look out and see the buildings that towered Kilometers into the sky, and know that at any given moment they were a small part of the trillions of people living within the Planet. Eaon desperately wanted to live in one of the tall towers and just gaze out over the city, but as Raavin led him on, Eaon knew that he had other business to attend to.
Upon arriving before the Jedi Council, Eaon was tested and passed officially becoming a Youngling. Eaon trained within the Katarn Clan which consisted of a fairly good amount of members. The most notable to Eaon was Izumi who was a year older than him. Izumi was a young human female Epicanthix. Eaon spent a good portion of his days learning not only to read and write (as he had not learned those on Corellia), but also becoming more familiar with the Force, and starting to learn the basics of Shii-Cho Lightsaber Combat.
Eaon, who's strong point was never the Force, always had a better time with the Lightsaber portion of things. At first it was difficult, but as time progressed Eaon got better with every little thing, while still having a growing friendship with the other Jedi in Katarn Clan. Eaon's best friend was still Izumi though, whom he'd grown to admire due to her ability to use the force better than Eaon, though it was still basic. By the time Eaon was eleven he actively got help from her on certain aspects of focusing on the Force, which did increase considerably. When Eaon was twelve though, Izumi was taken in as a Padawan, and Eaon was left with just everyone else in Katarn Clan, which wasn't all bad, but it was never quite the same.
Eaon spent his last year in relatively equal amounts training both with a Saber and the force. Eaon was easily one of the more talented members in the Clan, and it came as little or no surprise that several months prior to his thirteenth birthday, an old friend, Raavin Skyle returned with news that he would be taking on Eaon as a Padawan. Eaon was happy that he would, like Izumi before him, be taken on as a Padawan. It only made Eaon happier to know that it was going to be by Raavin, who was almost a father figure to Eaon, as Raavin had frequently visited him during his Initiate years. However Raavin was not a softy in training, and he needed Eaon to be very strong in progression in both the Force, and Saber Combat.
Eaon spent the first two years getting more advanced training in Shii-Cho and the basic uses of the force. Raavin placed a lot of importance on these areas due to the fact they could easily make or break a new Jedi to the order. Eaon had trouble at first, the increased regiments were a lot harder than he was used to, and he often had trouble completing them. Eaon also found that there was a bit of psychological training being done here too. Eaon found that it helped to talk to other Padawans or other Masters. Raavin intended for this to happen though, it served as a lesson as well that sometimes the duty of a Jedi was hard, and sometimes you needed help, but it was very important that you got it done both for yourself and others.
After two years, Eaon had familiarized himself fairly well with both Shii-Cho and basic aspects of the force like the ability to push or pull a target, sense things to a degree, increase his speed and strength, and other basic "Core" powers. It was at this time that Raavin came to Eaon with a new task, and that was to build his own lightsaber. Eaon failed upwards of twenty times before he finally got the blade to work. Eaon called this blade "Restoration" because in Eaon's mind this weapon would be his tool for helping people, and restoring peace and safety to the Galaxy. It was around this time that Raavin began feeling that it was okay to take Eaon on more dangerous missions around the Galaxy, feeling that he could defend himself, or at least hold his ground with normal opponents.
This continued for three years of just improving and training. Eaon managed to dabble into the training of other Saber Styles, but most of the focus was on Shii-Cho. Finally though the easy, safe life would end, and a new, more dangerous life would begin. Raavin and Eaon had been sent on a mission to Ralltiir to investigate Dark Jedi activity. The mission was dangerous though, as was the planet, and so another Master and Padawan were sent along with Eaon and Raavin. They were Knight Skeele and Padawan Izumi, for whom both Eaon and Raavin had known, or worked with in the past.
Eaon was happy to work with Izumi again who was now Nineteen and well on her way to becoming a good Force User. Her ability to command the Force was very high for her age, but she was lacking in the over all Saber area that Eaon did pretty okay in. Eaon wasn't sure of Skeele and Raavin's relationship, though it didn't matter, the will of the Council was to be carried out, and like that, the group set off to Ralltiir.
After arriving on Ralltiir, the group did not stay very long, perhaps a few days before they did find something, a group of Dark Jedi who'd been sent there to watch over the colony. There were four Dark Jedi, two Knights and Apprentices, and so after thinking about it, the Jedi sent off a message to the council requesting potential aide with the situation, but they chose to act and attempt to remove the Dark Jedi from Ralltiir. During the fight Raavin and Skeele managed to defeat their opponents, however Raavin was mortally wounded. Eaon and Izumi worked very well together, with Izumi's ability to use the force trumping the Apprentice's to the point to where Eaon could handle them both fairly easily.
Something changed though, when one did manage to get by Eaon and land a blow on Izumi, ending her life. Eaon was suddenly outnumbered and at a huge disadvantage. Eaon was barely able to defend himself before Master Skeele showed up and helped Eaon turn the tides and win the fight. Before Eaon and Skeele left they gathered the bodies of their fallen friends and left. Skeele would be alright, but Eaon was hurt, he'd lost his father figure and his best friend all at the same time. He took two things from them though, from Raavin his foucs crystal, and from Izumi her lightsaber's color crystal. Eaon then upon returning to Coruscant after finding out he would have to wait for a new master crafted a second lightsaber he called "The Fallen" using Izumi's Crystal and Raavin's. It was exceedingly hard at first to use the blade due to the components belonging to someone else, however due to the fact that the hilt of the blade was all Eaon's work, eventually he did managed to "master" (master at his level of skill anyway) use of the new blade.
Eaon spent the rest of his time awaiting a new master and training with The Fallen. After several months Eaon received a new master whose emphasis was focused more on balance between the Force and Combat despite her Guardian Status. This forced Eaon to begin to learn to use the force. It was at this time during trials requiring Eaon to use his mind that Eaon began to practice in the field on Alderaan. Generally speaking Eaon would have to find someway to survive a given amount of time in the wilderness relying on his instincts and the force and not combat as opposed to relying on technology and the world. It was also during this time that his Master noticed that Eaon had difficulties in the darkness, this was because of his Zelosian blood.
After several missions it became apparent that for Eaon to operate at his full potential that time needed to be taken to get Eaon used to using the force to assist his body and sight. It was a difficult transition for Eaon who'd mostly been focused on the physical rather than the spiritual. However for several months his Master was unrelenting until Eaon could take tests in the dark and pass despite his lesser sight. His Master also made sure that Eaon be aware that he must have balance to survive, because he wouldn't always have a lightsaber, and combat wouldn't always be the answer. Likewise sometimes the Force could get people into trouble if they relied too heavily on it. Eaon's Master made sure that he began to study philosophy and work on multiple aspects of being a Jedi. She'd already set him up to start training to be a Sentinel.
Years passed and Eaon continued to train in multiple forms of combat. His Djem So skills increased dramatically over this time as years of practice finally began to play off. Eaon also mastered Shii-Cho and began learning his second style Makashi. The idea behind learning Makashi was that it would be the final symbolic form of balance in Eaon's life and that would be required for him to reach his status of Sentinel which Eaon himself had committed to training to become. Eaon also spent considerable time practicing his Force Sense related abilities so that he could see perfectly in the dark despite his racial problems of sight.
Eaon's ability to use force sense eventually became his defining characteristic because the amount he ended up using it. Eaon found it useful for just about everything, a Jedi's mind was more powerful to Eaon than his saber styles, and his senses were going to be as sharp as possible. His other abilities he mostly developed along side his saber skills. Eaon eventually learned of The Jedi Shadows who'd been an ancient group of Jedi who'd been designated to hunt down Sith and Sith Culture and purge it from the Galaxy. Ultimately that was the calling that Eaon wanted, the ability to remove the Darkness from the Galaxy be it Sith, Dark Jedi or anything else. The vary darkness that took Eaon's first master and best friend from him would become his life's pursuit in chasing.
Finally at the age of twenty two Eaon was qualified to take the Jedi Knight's Trials. Incidentally Eaon's first trials were that of his Master and Best friend's death at the hands of Dark Jedi. This was the trial of flesh, and like a soldier stepping onto the battlefield for the first time, Eaon had been changed by it. Eaon had practically become the go to Padawan for other Padawans who needed help in constructing a good lightsaber because he'd made three in the time most people had made only one or two. Likewise it had pushed Eaon to push himself to become something stronger and better.
Eaon had never really faced a good trial of Spirit. He'd faced darkness countless times and nearly fell on several occasions when he was younger, but after he'd done some significant maturing the threat had been lessened. It was hard for Eaon to provoke a vision so that he could pass that trial. Eaon tried for hours every night for nearly two months until finally exhausted and frustrated a vision came to him.
In that vision Eaon found himself wielding a red lightsaber and in dark robes. His skin had become pale and his eyes shone brightly by contrast, but they were not bright with life, they simply glowed ominiously. Eaon no longer used his powers for good, but rather he walked through a town, using the force to suck the life from all who crossed him. He'd become a terror, a man who no longer protected life, but rather sought to further his own power and lively hood by stealing the very essence of life from his enemies. All around him lay bodies, and Eaon continued to walk in his vision until he came to a young Jedi wielding a purple lightsaber. Eaon soon fought the Jedi and though she never held still long enough for Eaon to see her face she felt familiar. Eaon eventually struck down the Jedi and and as she crawled for her life, the fallen Shadow placed his boot upon her back and shoved his saber through her throat killing her.
Despite never seeing the woman's face, Eaon awoke knowing what had happened, he'd killed not a real jedi but the impression she'd left of the Force. Eaon had thrown away everything he'd believed in and in so, he'd killed the memory of his best friend who died at the hands of a Dark Jedi. He'd abandoned his teachings, and let the seduction of power pollute his mind that the Force could make him eternal, using the power of life drain to sustain himself. To Eaon looking at himself like that seemed almost unreal, like a watching a bad movie in which Eaon simply couldn't believe what he saw because the monster was too unrealistic. However Eaon was smarter, he'd spent his life training as a Jedi, he knew that such men did exist and such men were not simple beasts, but predators who knew what they did and did it because they enjoyed the power it gave them. It reminded Eaon once again that in death there was no Jedi or Sith, merely victims, and the moment one began to enjoy killing was the moment that they'd fallen.
Eaon's trials of courage had been the time he'd spent training in the wilderness without tools to survive, where his eye-sight failed him. Eaon had learned to not just survive but thrive in an environment where his entire species was afraid to go, both by supersticion and by physical hinderinces. The darkness could be overcome if one was willing to look past it. Eaon could see in the dark where others with better vision might not, and his Zelosian blood wouldn't prevent him from doing so.
Eaon's final trial would likely be the most difficult. His Master told Eaon he had to defeat her in single combat using only his Makashi style of combat. Eaon would not be allowed to create a new lightsaber to do so, he would only be allowed to use The Fallen and Restoration which were both less suitable for Makashi than a curved hilt saber would have been. During this trial Eaon would duel his master nearly ten times without winning, on the tenth time he managed to hold his own till a draw. Eaon felt he could have done better with more practice, however his master considered the trial passed with this. The lesson was both of progress and training for Eaon, as well as proof that one doesn't always need to defeat the enemy to win.
A month later Eaon and his master boarded a ship to Ilum where Eaon would create his final lightsaber. Unlike Restoration and The Fallen he did not name his third saber, and he made it curved so that he may better use the Makashi style of combat. Leon was not allowed to pick out a crystal for himself, rather his master did before returning to Coruscant. Several months later Eaon was Knighted a Jedi Knight, a Sentinel as his Master intended

Eaon sat alone in the Jedi temple, his eyes closed and the force around him. It encompassed him like a sea, warm, pure, and calm. It was the nature of the Force, at least as his mind could know it, though all things accounted for Eaon was no where near the best in this vast ocean. That didn't matter though, what mattered is Eaon knew soon he'd have a new Master, probably someone he'd never met who was no where near as good at Raavin was. Eaon would have to cope, he didn't want to mind you, but he had to. Somewhere out there in the Galaxy, there were other people probably like Izumi or Raavin who needed some help.
Eaon was calm, but he wasn't at peace. It was hard to be at peace any more and Eaon was constantly paranoid that the Council knew that he wasn't at peace, and that he would be kicked out of the Order. It was hard though, having lost his best friend, and his Master, and barely remembering his childhood, Eaon felt completely alone for the first time ever. That's why he was meditating, he felt closer to his Master and Izumi when he did that, though in that vast ocean of the force, they weren't there, or rather they'd become the ocean.
It was the same when Eaon practiced Shii-Cho, he could only remember the guiding words of Raavin teaching him how to defend and turn another's attacks against them. It made practicing hard, though the hardest part had still been making The Fallen from their crystals. The blade was hard to master too, but somehow he'd found the strength to do so. It made Eaon nervous though, the blade was hot, hotter than most lightsabers, and it was difficult to use, it could be useless in combat or made disallowed due to it's properties, but Eaon was going to try to use it anyway. What made things the worst though was Eaon's having to wait for a new Master, if he didn't have to wait he wouldn't have to dwell on what happened.
Eaon had gone over the fight about a thousand times in his mind, if somehow he could have been watching both enemies at once he could have stopped the second time or given Izumi some time to prepare. Eaon knew he needed to stop though, he'd grown attached to them, and that absolutely could not be allowed. He hadn't forgotten them, but he had to some how be able to carry out the code without forgetting them.
Slowly Eaon opened his eyes and looked around the room, ceasing with his meditation. Someone was coming, maybe it was his new Master. Eaon didn't know, he turned to face the door and waited in silence, he would have to be strong now, no matter who came through that door. Eaon focused his eyes and waited, there would be peace, just as soon as he made the bad things cease.
