"Daddy, it's about to start!" A short human girl squealed excitedly to her father, a balding man who looked very tired.
"All right, turn on the holonet receiver while I go get your mother."
He walked into the kitchen as the child skillfully turned on the display and keyed in to channel 11, one of the big networks the family watched with devotion every day of the week.
"Elena, come on in, and bring the snacks!"
"I'm coming dear!"
Within seconds the family was seated with bowls of popcorn and pre-made meals, just in time for the opening shots of their favorite semi-informative program.
"Good evening viewers, I'm Lyn Bondara of your favorite Holonet network, here with a special feature for you all. You may recall that last month we had our first interview with stars from the massive epic Star Wars Universe, now playing on our network. You heard from everyone's favorite Twi'lek duo, and now we bring you a very special Jedi session behind the scenes with some of your favorite actors."
The purple Twi'lek speaking gestured to the three people seated near her desk, two on chairs and two on a couch.
"Here we have Odali Ti, actress behind the stern Jedi Master Teer Ka, Romi'frota, the new Twi'lek Master in the Jedi Order, Dav Crazell as Jedi Knight Argon Farwell, and lastly the young actor James Starhunter, who was controversially cast as a Togruta in the place of a Togruta actor."
The camera panned to each one of the actors as they were introduced before switching shots to Lyn.
"As you may know, Jedi characters in the show were instructed by Jedi Knight Alarin Thal, who respectfully declined to be interviewed. I'm going to ask Odali the first question. What was it like working with real Jedi as you portrayed one of them?"
Odali smiled, rusty fingers interlaced.
"Well first off, it's a great pleasure to be on the show. My grandson is in the audience tonight, and I think he's especially excited by the role. But to answer the question, I think it's a real honor to be able to portray a Jedi Master. I remember distinctly when I was a girl how my brother left to be with the Jedi at a very young age. I've often wondered what became of him, but now I feel like it's an honor to play what he might have become.
I do want to say Alarin is an absolute thrill to work with, and he personally instructed me in the use of the mock lightsabers we wield. I actually do many of my own stunts thanks to him, which wasn't something I expected at my age."
Lyn chuckled.
"All right, we'll move on to Rom and James. I have a question for each of you, and you can respond in order. Rom, what do you like most about playing your character, and can we expect anything interesting to happen with him in the upcoming season?"
Lyn looked to the human.
"James, how do you feel that you were chosen over a Togruta actor, and do you think you've successfully been able to play a Togruta Jedi?"
"And lastly Dav. Your character is a new addition to the show, how do you think the fans will react?"

Rom sat in the studio with all the lights around him waiting for his time to come. Listening to Odali replay to Lyn smiling at her responds. It had come to his turn crossing his legs placing his left ankle on his right knee.
"Well Ms. Bondara, I love working with all these wonderful people. From Odali to Alarin and all the wonderful Jedi at the Temple. Everyone is so very nice and humble. I remember when I was about eight or nine back on Ryloth. A pair of Jedi, a master and her Padawan. Padawan is what they call a student under the guidance of a Master. Anyways they came to Ryloth to stop this band of Rodians from terrorizing the locals. From then on I looked up to the Jedi. Its an honor to be able to portray one on Star Wars Universe."
Rom took a sip of his water.
"As for the upcoming season. Someone gets a Master, but gotta tune in to find out who"

"James, how do you feel that you were chosen over a Togruta actor, and do you think you've successfully been able to play a Togruta Jedi?"
James leaned back a little and rested his head on his left hands knuckles.
"That's the question that I'm constantly getting asked, form the fans, lets see it's been about a year sense i got the role, and i basically went into the studio to audition and then, they told be the name i would be taking, and i recognized it as Togruti. It didn't make a lot of sense 'tell i found out, i was playing a Togruta, which was strange because there are some wonderful Togruta on the cast, yet i was chosen for it. Truthfully i still ask the producer how i got the roll.
But ah, yeah i think that the roll of a Jedi First of isn't an easy one, you literally have to study about them to under stand how you're going to react to something, and I am grateful that i got the part, but i defiantly know there was probably a few better choices out there. It's still funny I think all of us here at least at one time when we where starting couldn't help but make the lightsaber sound when we where in an action scene!"
He gave a small chuckle and the audience laughed a bit too, For James that was enough, for his first time out of costume he had better reactions then when he started.

Dav was a little sweaty under the lights. But, that was normal. He had learned long ago how to sweat without having to wipe his forehead. It was essential to the life of an actor.
"Well, Lyn, this show keeps adding chars, some good, some bad, some ugly. I would name one, but my social life is important."
He and the audience laughed at the same time.
"Anyway, I think that the fans have found me to be one of the better ones. I remember reading the script for my first scene--which was very short, I might add. I read it and then thought 'yeah, I can do this, this is good.' So, i did it. And it WAS good. If brief."
He chuckled. He was good at doing that, laughing. He loved to laugh.

Lyn nodded to them all in turn before checking the papers on her desk, reading the questions she'd planned for them all, but not before a quick deviation.
"Odali, what do you think of having a human play someone of your race?"
The Togruta woman had a carefully neutral expression, before replying in her accented voice.
"I admit I wish the casting crew would pick people of my own race. I also admit it would be nice to not be the only one speaking Togruti on the set. On the bright side, Ashla, Teer's bird, really is trained in Togruti. She's very responsive to the commands, and sometimes I feel like I'm really having a conversation with her."
Lyn shuffled her papers a little.
"This next question goes out to all of you. How do you feel about the growth of your characters, and is there anything in their future development you want to discuss?"
Odali nodded.
"Yes actually. If you've been following Teer's storyline, you saw her encounter with a little girl that changed her, and since then she's decided to become the Watchman of Shili. Well, her Padawan is becoming a Knight very soon, so there's a bit more growth for her. And she might actually be taking on a new Padawan. I can say though, that on Shili the excitement won't end. We've started filming on location there, and it's great to be back home. Plenty of stuff coming at you."

"Well, if you've watched last night's episode, you may have noticed Argon has decided to join the Blades. We have a whole story arc planned out for him as a Blade, starting with the siege of Bak'Mral, which you may have seen trailers for. And, I assure you, it really is that epic."
Argon remembered the mystery surrounding the Bak'Mral siege. They were filming mostly on-set, so no one but those on the crew knew anything about it, and the crew was supposed to tell no one. So, there had been a lot of speculation...

"This next question goes out to all of you. How do you feel about the growth of your characters, and is there anything in their future development you want to discuss?"
James listened to Odali, and then Dav, Then took his turn.
Like i said we do have at least one good Togruta actress, unfortunately she couldn't be here today. James joked looking down the row at Odali, smiling getting a chuckle out of the audience, Nah i kid...But yeah by char who if you look back all the way to his first episode : "Early in the day" we saw Gharassk was basically only had a trust in the force, but now he's Actually getting a personality, that is relate-able. As for the next season You'll defiantly be seeing a lot of growth in Gharassk, and I've gotten to already shoot several episodes for the season, and worked with so many good actors. At least one of them is here now, and there will be an interesting reveal coming up pretty soon.
He then turned to Rom who should be going next.

Chuckling at the few comments made by his fellow actors. Rom shifted in his seat slightly and scratched his ear.
"Well, im the newest addition to the cast and not too developed. The first episode I shot with Odali, I think showed great development between the two Masters. Both highly skilled in their sabers, but Tov still needing that guidance. And like James said an interesting reveal is coming."
Rom looked over to James and nodded.

Odali rolled her eyes when the human made a joke at her expense, but remained silent apart from that.
"We'll be right back with more of the interview after this message from our sponsors!" Lyn announced before the cameras stopped rolling and the lights dimmed to a more bearable level. Then a member of the station crew announced five minutes.
Odali promptly rose and headed into the audience, shaking a few hands very quickly until a little Togruta boy about six years old jumped up to her. She scooped him up quickly and kissed him on the forehead, speaking to him in Togruti as his parents came over.
He was her grandson, and the parents were her daughter and her son in law.
The Togruta actress waved the other actors over.
"Meet my grandson Derash, my daughter Rosha, and her mate Lani."

5 minute break was announced.
Then Odali was the first off the stage, to embrace one of the children of her own race, that looked like a relative.
She motioned for the cast members to come up, but before James could make it one of the fans tried to get his attention, or perhaps the attention of the Actor that was coming up behind him.
A little girl with a piece of paper, Fangirls? James thought to himself, and hid pictures of being trampled down by them, With little time at all he wrote his name on the paper Only a 5 minute break, wish i had more time to talk but i really don't i think they are arranging something at a Fair or something here in a month or so. and shuffled to try and get to Odali to meet the child.
Hey lil' one... he said as he saw the young boy, and caught up with Odali.

Ah, five minutes, I love those words.
Dav walked over to the three Togruti children.
"Hi there..."
Dav liked children. They were energetic, charismatic... like him. The words of his mother ringed in his mind.
You will always be a child, Dav.

Rom stood after the cameras switched off. Making his way over to where Odali was with her family. Extending his hand out and shaking his costars families hands.
"Its a pleasure to meet you. Odali talks about you all the time on set."
The Twi'lek actor scratches his lekku as he stands talking with Odali and her family.
"So I bet you're happy to have her back home for a little bit."

Rosha answered, as the boy seemed suddenly shy in the way of children.
"Yes, we are happy to have my mother close by. The filming on Coruscant for so long wasn't pleasant. But she's home on Corvala now, near our tribe."
The head of the crew motioned them all back to their seats hurriedly, and Odali returned to her chair after kissing her grandson on the forehead.
Lyn smiled her signature smile.
"Welcome back to our interview with the Jedi of Star Wars Universe. Before the break we talked a little about what's coming up in the show, now we'll talk a little about the actors. This first question goes out to all of you. What first got you started in acting, and how did it prepare you for your role?"

After meeting Odali's family James noticed the time, It felt like seconds went by before the buzzer went off requiring them to return to their seats.
Then the next question was asked,
"Welcome back to our interview with the Jedi of Star Wars Universe. Before the break we talked a little about what's coming up in the show, now we'll talk a little about the actors. This first question goes out to all of you. What first got you started in acting, and how did it prepare you for your role?"
James took a second before starting with his answer as it looked as though no one else was going. "Umm, well my first roll came after acting classes, and it was a commercial for some toy line. Truthfully my previous rolls have had nothing to do with my current roll as Gharassk, but my acting classes help a little bit."
James looked down the the line that was formed from his cast members, waiting for the next one to answer.

The buzzer went off marking that the break was over. "It was nice meeting you" Rom said to Odalis family. He made his way back over to his seat and sat down just as the cameras switched back on. Lyn started talking almost immediately as the cameras come on. After the quick intro back and the question silence fell over the actors. Each of them probably waiting for the other to go. Just as Rom was going to speak James pipped up. He listened to the human speak after he was finished Rom chimed in.
"My first acting gig was when I was about 18. It was a little bit part but I gave it my all. It was a film called Bantha Roundup. I played one of the wranglers that gets trampled by the stampede. To answer the second part of that question. It prepared me for the long hours of rehearsals and training. Which with SWU we spend a good twenty hours a week with Alarin to keep our saber skills sharp."
The Twi'lek adjusted in his seat slightly as he finished his responds.

When the break ended, Dav hurried back to his seat.
"I started off when I was about 11. I played an extra in this disaster movie, which turned out to be a flop. But, being an extra wasn't too damaging to my career, so I got gigs in some commercials and voice acting in video games. My first major gig was when I was about 18, when I was cast in Podracers, which was a major success, if unrealistic."
He took a sip of water.
"This is my second major gig. My agent called me up, said 'hey, there's a big show, something called Star Wars Universe, their looking for Jedi.' And I said, 'cool.'"

Odali waited patiently until the others had gone before answering, knowing her story might run long. Very politely though, she began in that distinctive voice she had, the product of quite a few years with tabac cigarettes.
"My first role actually was a Jedi. I was eight years old, and they put out a casting call for Jedi Younglings. I had speaking lines as Ashla in Attack of the Sith. Some people call it a classical work of historical fiction. People said I was cute, certainly my mother did. I never thought such a simple role would really serve as the foundation of a career.
I never realized I'd have such a career playing Jedi, but it shouldn't be too surprising. You don't often see Togruta off Shili who aren't Jedi. Teer is my first role though as such a powerful Jedi, or such an important character. Before I usually played attractive supporting characters without too much depth, certainly lacking the rich experience of Teer."
Lyn nodded.
"Thank you all for your answers. Now I have just one final question for you all. How have your personal lives been changed since you started on Star Wars Universe, and how do you feel about it?"

For Odali's turn she had a bit longer of a tale, "My first role actually was a Jedi. I was eight years old, and they put out a casting call for Jedi Younglings. I had speaking lines as Ashla in Attack of the Sith. Some people call it a classical work of historical fiction. People said I was cute, certainly my mother did. Before I usually played attractive supporting characters without too much depth, certainly lacking the rich experience of Teer."
Attack of the Sith was More of a classic yes, James had seen it and that's part of why he wanted into acting at a young age,
That was you?!
James leaned out from his chair a bit to look at Odali, I thought you looked familiar when i met you on our first shoot together...
Then the host spoke again,
Only one question, that seemed like a bit of a short special.
But James was hoping the rumors where true that at the end of the show there was to be a sneak peek for next season, Battle for Thila, and Ordo, along with other things would be reviled.
"Thank you all for your answers. Now I have just one final question for you all. How have your personal lives been changed since you started on Star Wars Universe, and how do you feel about it?"
James again spoke,
Well...I can't go next to any where without at least one person recognizing me, sometimes that leads to a whole crowd of people forming around me! So often has a trip for milk turned into an autograph signing! He laughed,
The newer ones will under stand that later on, and i really don't mind it either.
The only thing worse then that is when You get surrounded by nothin' but fangirls, but i think the best part is just getting to meet the fans too, and I've also been invited to an annual ''Day for the Fans" Autographs and prizes, interviews, that whole thing and i believe that this is the 6th year running for it.
Several actors and actresses on the show that i haven't got to work with before are also going to be there, so it'll be something for everyone to enjoy.
He took a sip of the water in front of him, before finishing. Oh and i almost forgot, someone else on this stage is going to be there too who was it? He honestly didn't remember...he might even have been wrong.
