Fortunately we have Aldric Cibre!

So to set the stage we need a location and I think The Works: starwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Works will fit nicely as the shady and sinister industrial backdrop for our story.

My loose idea is that DEadline's Bounty Hunter and one or two of my NPC's will have already entered the Works and have either stolen an important document, schematics, technology or have assassinated a leading industrialist or performed acts of industrial espionage to hurt a competitor.

Local authorities have no time for The works and it's poor reputation and are more focused on keeping crime contained to the area rather than flushing it out, so the victims will contact our Detective who will try to track us down, follow various clues and try to stop us before we strike again...

So obviously this is a very basic outline, open for revision and discussion

OK the works sounds like a good place to start.

Aldric being called in because no one else to take care of it common.

So i take it in the long run your guys get away with the tech.

So end game You guys win, he ends up tying the crime to your company but with no proof, and to prevent him from ending off getting you're guy in trouble he gets another More important case.

Option number two, he finds out that the group you stole from are filthy criminals and goes on to take them down. Ending the thread but leaving it open for later threads and Aldric not thinking your company being evil.

Personally i like option #2 but your choice.

Yes Option two sounds wonderful... A lot of our experiments and technology deal with implantation of AI into soldiers and cybernetic implants to boost combat efficiency... We could be raiding a notorious or shady biotech firm that is performing live experiments on aliens and humans (which is ironic because that is what we will end of doing, sorta foreshdadows what is to come for me) or they are making unsafe drugs or something... Our raid however is targetted at their research data that they have compiled through their live experiments which will save my company time and lives.

The initial reason for you being called in is a raid on one of their satellite clinics to steal access codes or something. Then we will perform a series of other such actions, slowly getting access codes, schematics and stuff for the biotech firm's main offices and secret testing lab... You follow our trail, confront us with their security forces at several points along the way... and finally you, Deadline and My NPC (Agent Law or Agent Shield) will have a big showdown in the secret testing facility where you will be faced with the moral decision to stop us, or let us go, hunt us another day and take down this horribly unethical company.

Sounds like you got things figured out. I guess now we should talk about how/where the thread starts and than the other locations it would take us.

The satellite sounds like a good start point, than a couple other small research labs ,where Aldric gets information on both your group and the other. The works at one point than maybe a final office type building of your opponents?

You got any other ideas for locations? Also just for sake of fluency i think you should be the one to start the thread.

Excellent, I shall make the thread and my first post tomorrow night at the latest as I just made a major post tonight and have some homework to get done.

So Orbital Medical Satellite, were my people will start stealing things or getting info or causing a ruckus, then they will ride an automated orbital loadlifted back down to The Works. You get called in, investigate the attack which we will have I am hoping several posts of detailed infiltration for you to work with, then you'll follow the coordinates of the transport and track us through the decaying Works... Other locations I think will arise as needed or fluidly as we keep on going
