[Cassy]

Cassy was bored; she say inside of the plush cruiser, sent to Naboo specifically for the transfer of one Lou Coddleman. An over enthusiastic middle aged man with greying hair; an attitude problem seemed to follow him everywhere he went. From Lallane's point of view anyhow.

The beautiful Jedi sat; her eyes watched him pace around; barking orders at Republic troops who's feet seemed only glued to the spot to take the abuse because it was their orders.

Apparently; this Senator Coddleman needed protection; perhaps he was involved in some scandal. But the Republic obviously felt he needed to be moved to Coruscant for security issues. He was not pleased at all. He seemed to be going on a gripe fest; Cassy continued to sit off in the corner; at one of the tables in the large room they were in now; designed for Diplomacy. How ironic.

"Senator Coddleman....please."

"I didn't ask for your opinion madam Jedi!" he didn't seem to like being interrupted when he was berating people. "I---I'm sorry...all of you." he retired to the chair behind his desk; flopping into it and rubbing his mouth, sighing.

The Republic guards saluted and left the Diplomats Chambers, leaving the two of them alone.

"I just....didn't want to leave home." he said, sucking his teeth. "Dammit all then...."

"I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation....it'll all be made clear once we reach Coruscant; relax." Cassy's voice seemed to sooth him somewhat as she herself meditated a bit while she had somehow earned some silence in this room.

Eventually; Senator Coddleman retired to his private chambers; double automatic doors slid open and closed at one side of the room as he slinked across the chamber, passing Cassy with a nod. She returned the gesture; deciding heading towards a window to star out at the star flecked darkness.

The large diplomatic cruiser powered on through space at a cruise.

'30 Minutes until the next Hyperspace Flight, all the way to Coruscant' one of the pilot's voices rang out across the intercom. Cassy flecked her eyes once at the chronometer; and sighed, relaxing herself with a smile before returning her gaze to the stars through the window.

Somewhere in the depths of Hyperspace, a DC4 Storm Class Frigate plummeted past the maddening blue smear of passing systems. The bridge of the vessel was bustling with activity as Imperial Officers and Naval personal quickly scattered to get everything in place for the upcoming ambush, as timing was of the utmost importance in a operation of this size. Imperial Intelligence had placed a target on one Senator Lou Coddleman, who had incompetently stumbled onto one of the Imperial Operations in the Outer Rim two standard weeks ago, and since then Agents have been monitoring his every actions and have finally claimed this moment in time to strike. So, the Sith Council had dispatched Doviculous, a Devaronian Sith Knight to intercept the Senator before he could make an escape and relieve him of his life, a mission Doviculous took on joyfully.

Now Doviculous stood at the helm of the Frigate as they neared their target, watching the crew as they scurried about like ants under his gaze. A middle-aged Officer stood nervously next to the Sith Knight, shrinking away from his unbridled aura of the Dark Side. "How much longer?" The Officer stumbled back and foolishly uttered, "To what sir?" He shut his mouth as quickly as he had opened it, already knowing what the Sith wanted and knowing that it was abysmally stupid for him to ask such a question. Doviculous' gaze turned with a hateful scorn towards the Officer and with a snarl of disgust he extended his hand and wrenched the Officer upwards by the throat, "To the target you blithering maggot, what else? Now I hope your crew isn't as incompetent as you are, otherwise I'd have to kill the entire lot of you..." He growled as he released the Officer, who fell to the floor and clutched his injured throat as he gasped for air. Doviculous turned to one of the helmsmen, "I hope you can answer me, Helmsmen."

The helmsmen nodded quickly and looked at the readouts on the control panel, "We're 5 minutes away from the target, Lord."

Doviculous nodded and turned from the bridge and took one last look at the pathetic form of the Officer, "Prepare to cripple that ship once we exit Hyperspace, I do not want them to escape. Is that clear?"" The Officer, unable to reply, merely shook his head in acknowledgement and rose to his feet. Satisfied, Doviculous departed from the bridge and made his way down to the hangerbay, where three squads of Sith Troopers awaited him along with five Assault Craft, meant to board the Senator's vessel once the engines were crippled. Doviculous strode out to them, prompting every soldier to stand at attention and salute at the Sith Lord, "At ease. You all know the operation, quick and efficient, I want no survivors. Sweep through the entire ship, kill everyone you find, men, woman, children, I don't care. We can't afford to leave any witnesses, but leave the Senator to me. His death is my honor to bring, is that clear?" "SIR YES SIR!" Doviculous grinned, These soldiers will do fine...

Doviculous donned his obsidian-black Sith Armor and strapped on his helmet, pressing it into place with each piece until they snapped together with a resounding hiss, meaning that his suit was pressurized and air-tight. Doviculous then watched as the Soldiers filled onto both Assault Craft as the one minute mark approached, letting his anger built within him to be quickly called upon when they began their attack. He just hoped that the Officer on the bridge could carry out such simple orders without hesitation, although... He'd love to hang the Officer by hooks through his eyes, but for now he needed him.

Thirty more seconds....

Doviculous quickly filled into one of the Assault Craft and latched himself into one of the seats near the boarding ramp as the seconds ticked down.

Ten more seconds....

The DC4 Storm exploded out of Hyperspace not far behind from the Senator's vessel, and unleashed a hailstorm of laserfire towards the aft of the vessel, namely at the engines. One of the dual heavy turbolaser cannons unloaded bolt after bolt towards the engines as a couple of missiles were launched towards the engines. Doviculous could hear the reports of the ambush over the comlink in his helmet, and as the Assault Craft prepared to lift off, he couldn't help but notice the bloodthirsty excitement in all of the soldiers around him.

Truly... this would be a bloodbath.

[Cassy]

As Cassy stood there; staring out the window her vision seemed to swim and visions of a desert...vast and unending sea of sand. A smile crept across her face; her lips curving slightly as she seemed to re invision something...far off.

'A thunderous noise; that shattered into her hearing and nearly caused her too fall over'

Several red whirs zipped by outside of the window as Cassy's mouth hung open for a moment.

"You've got too be fracking kidding me!" she stumbled towards the Senator's quarters as his door zipped open.

"What in th--" she cut him off, raising a hand as their ship was battered once more. The power flecked off and back on briefly, as the two of them looked upwards, watching the lights. Republic troops surged through the opposite doorway.

"We're under assault from behind; something jumped right out on top of us!" he continued; at a salute as sloths of noise could be heard from behind them deeper in the ship through the open doorway they'd come in through. "Hyperdrive has taken major structural damage, it'll be offline for at least twenty minutes!"

Cassy paced back and forth only once; thoughts building quickly through her mind.

"Dismiss orders for everyone too give all support to the Deck Chiefs in repairing the Hyperdrive. The damage is structural; so some good welding, and wiring should fix the job. It doesn't have to be pretty, just get it working!" she commanded the two.

Two more troops filed in behind the previous two.

"Senator Coddleman; they've scrambled their assault craft! They probably outnumber us in a dog fight! Reinforcements are within range; but coms are down, we need time!" they desperately barked.

Cassy ordered them to scramble nearly everything they had; saving a bit of their small escort fleet for getaway cover during the end.

"They'll probably try to board us soon; I'm going to stay here and protect the Senator......when they land give them everything you have until our Hyperdrive is fixed!!!" Cassy then wheeled around the Senator Coddleman as the four Republic troops left in what seemed like a breeze, "Get back in your chambers; begin broadcasting emergency request SOS' immediately, your access codes will get a quicker response than most!"

With a stunned and gaping mouth; a smashing hit from the artillery of the enemy ship shook the wrinkled and greying human out of his tranced look of fear. He blithered something, and immediately ran off too his quarters; in a quick hiss of the double doors.

Cassy herself would slink out into the large hallway that the troops had just left. Her black robes trailing behind her on the floor. She reached out through the Force; but only felt the determination and panic of the crew all around her; they hadn't been boarded yet. The lights in the large hallway she stood in flickered on and off.

To her left and right, the hallway reached out; screams could be heard orders being barked. In front of her; a large, grandmaster staircase that led to the ships lower levels. Where the fighter pilots were no doubt scrambling out for their lives into the space dogfight; attempting to blast the enemy vessels out of the sky before they could land and board them. However; there weren't enough of them, and eventually they'd begin to retreat.

Before long it might turn into an all out brawl on the lower decks; Cassy would stand looking down the grand stair case, the rather large double doors leading into the Diplomat's Chambers behind her. There were only about a dozen fighters out there; but there were plenty of guards in here.

A thick swath of about thirty Republic troops armed with smoke grenades and Repeater ion rifles. Waited any form of breach on the deck; Cassy retreated back into the Diplomat's Chambers for now. Awaiting the inevitable.

The battle had begun. The Sith Frigate scrambled it's slue of Sith Entropy Class Strike Fighters, 12 in total, into the fray to engage the Republic fighters. Five Assault Craft would be loaded and would exit the Frigate's hanger bay, racing towards the Senator's crippled ship as the Sith fighters slammed into the line of Republic fighters, both sides blazing lasers and shrieking through the vastness of space. One of the Republic fighters veered around and let loose a flurry of lasers towards one of the Assault Craft lagging behind, which was promptly destroyed in a fiery explosion. However, 3 out of the 5 Assault Craft made it to the Senator's ship, where they latched onto different angles of the ship and created a air-tight passageway for troops to pass through as laser-cutters began t chew through the ship's hull.

Doviculous watched as the section of the hull was cut away, revealing an elegant hallway behind it and before any of the other Soldiers could protest, Doviculous jumped through the hole into the ship and activated his lightsaber. A trio of Republic troopers opened fire on the Sith from their position around the corner, forcing Doviculous to go on the defensive right away and block the bolts aimed for him. The Sith Troopers quickly piled out and began suppressing the Republic troopers with torrents of blaster fire. One of the Republic trooper's head was blown clean off by a well placed blaster shot as he peeked out to return fire, but his comrade avenged him by filling the offending Sith trooper full of blaster shots before being cut down by bolts himself, allowing the last trooper to flee to alert the others.

"Secure the perimeter, and prepare for an immediate counterattack."

The troopers leaped into action, their years of training and harsh discipline serving them well in these crowded hallways. Doviculous had no doubt the other Imperial troopers were doing the same as him, engaging the Republic troops as they came and securing the ship section by section. Doviculous activated his comlink and opened a channel directly to the bridge of the Frigate, "We've breached the vessel, operations are going as planned. Add more suppressive fire to the ship's aft section, I don't want them even thinking they have a chance to escape." "Yes, my Lord. The fighters prove difficult to hit down, they are extremely agile and they hound us constantly, although our own fighters prove equally a match for them."

Doviculous grinned under his helmet, it seems the Officer had grown a pair in the absence of the Sith Knight. "The fighters do not concern me, keep up with the barrage. We won't take long." Doviculous cut communications before the Officer could interject and turned to two of the Soldiers, "Hold this hallway, we may need a quick escape and I don't want this vessel compromised." The Soldiers nodded and took up defensive positions near the entry as Doviculous and the rest of the squad quickly headed towards where they suspected the Senator's chambers were.

Quickly they came upon a force of Republic Soldiers assaulting some Imperial forces, whom were stuck in a choke hold and were slowly being pushed back. Doviculous quickly sprinted towards the Republic soldiers, ignited lightsaber in hand, and he unleashed a torrent of Sith Lightning before leaping into the air and bringing it down to cleave in twine a Republic soldier. The other Republic soldiers began to turn their blasters on Doviculous, but before they could get a clear shot he leaped out of danger and engaged them with powerful slashes and stabs, splitting apart bodies and eviscerating limbs as the Imperials engaged the Republic soldiers. A few Imperials died in the quick skirmish, but more Republic blood than Imperial was spilt and without another they quickly pushed onward.

Doviculous and the rest of the Imperials converged on a large chamber near the Senator's chamber, where Doviculous allowed the troopers to take the lead in engaging the defending line of Republic troops. Doviculous could feel... something, no. Not something, someone on board, and only after a bit of concentration did he discover what he was feeling. There was a Jedi on board, he knew that feeling! There was no mistaking it, and his hatred increased ten fold knowing there was one of those wretches aboard. He ached for the moment to mend his wounded pride in the blood of Jedi after his defeat on Ambria to a Jedi Master and Padawan, which cost him his right eye, his original lightsaber, and half of his right horn. He would wait patiently for the Jedi to show themself, and then he would strike the fatal blow.

[Cassy]

All out chaos seemed to be ensuing outside. Several explosions signaled in Cassy's mind that they'd probably been boarded. She pressed her lips together; and paced left to right in the Diplomat's chambers.

Everytime a rattling sound hit the halls; she looked up towards the door. It was like heavy hammering outside your apartment; while not being able to do anything about it. It was maddening. The attacks outside continued; as the dogfight streaked onward. Orders and bangs sounded out.

With one last look at the Diplomat's chambers; and another look towards the large double bay doors leading into the halls outside. She gave one last look at the Senator's door with a look that said 'Frak That', in a moment. She turned her head and went running out into the halls in a swoop of her black cloak.

Two bodies; one of different intent she could immediately tell by it's garb, one republic. Smoke filled the hallway.

"There!"

Her eyes widened as she ducked a barrage of blaster bolts; well aimed as they slammed down the hall. Immediately; Cassy rose with a look of deadly determination, slinging her lightsaber like a whip out in a Saber Throw that decapitated one of the assailants. The other was so taken off by the hum and whirling of her sky blue saber that he froze.

In a Force Pull; he slid towards her through the smoke of the ship as her saber whizzed back past him. From his point of view; he flew towards her as she caught her saber which passed him. A slick chop and she impaled him straight through his black shock armor. With a hiss she pulled her lightsaber out and kicked him off of it; slinging her hair out of her face with a gulp as her sky blue lightsaber hummed brightly in the hallway.

She exhaled deeply and thought to herself as she chose her direction. Before she had a chance another group of Sith came parading up the grandstaircase from below. This confirmed her dread that they'd begun assaulting the ship below from the docking area. The three of them took aim as Cassy stepped forward into the crowd of them.

Her single step turned into a blur of speed; with five elegant Ataru strokes she cut down her assailants as blaster fire ripped helplessly around. Battering into the ceiling of the staircsase leading below.

With a large inhale; and a large amount of focus, she blanked out on the staircase, and her destination. With a mad burst of Force Valor and Force Speed she plummeted downward through the combat and came skidding to a halt as her vision clouded with a scene of people all around her. Already at the bottom of the ten flight stairs leading up to the council chambers; she was surrounded by Republic Troops.

"What's the situation!" she barked

"We're getting out fraking asses handed too us!" one of them yelled back. "They've got a damn Sith with them!!! Hell, I think this is the Sith!" he concluded steeling himself in the thick crowd of about twenty.

"Let's go, follow me through we've got the element of surprise our boys are probably real, thin. Once I get their Sith's attention...you guys need to batter them with diversions and put the heat on anything you see, got it?!" they all nodded in salute and set off at a jog together.

They burst through the bay area at a cheer as Cassy's blue lightsaber led the way; with a slick burst of Force Speed, she did a mid-air flip and tossed her saber. It again whipped through a crowd of four Sith, unaware as the Republic Forces flung smoke grenades everywhere.

The explosions battered and rang out as smoked whipped into crowds of Sith riflemen. No sooner did the smoke explode on them did a parade of Republic fire fall down on them. In the center, Cassy stepped through the explosions of smoke with bursts of Force Speed, slickly cutting down any Sith she saw with a whirling Ataru swat across his chest or mid-section.

She landed and pivoted; attempting this again until a hail of blaster fire rang into her. A lot of it hit her; and she only deflected a few of the shots. She turned to see it's source with a frustrated look. It was a Sith with some form of shotgun like spray weapon.

She switched to Shien and whirled her lightsaber into a backhand stance, standing straight up and acting unthreatened. She smirked, which seemed to provoke him. Perfect. The spray rang out; and in a whirl of Force Speed augmented with Force Valor, Cassy deflected most of the bullets as she went into a mad Shien whirl; spraying the entire shotgun blast away from her at once.

The Sith leaned back in surprise and in the next second; was sliced in two in a loud hum and hiss as Cassy ripped through him. She stepped on his armor and almost let her emotions get the better of her; but needed focus as she felt an errie presence. The hum of her lightsaber met anothers at the bottom of the Grand Staircase. As the hums synchronized.

She looked around the battlefield; finally locking eyes with her opponent. He was fully armored; and looked like a complete war machine. However; she was unfazed, wondering what this meant for the Senator, why was she staring this Sith down? The Force had strange ways.

"So...there you are." a thick net of their opposing troops separated them, but Cassy stood at the base of the Grand Staircase; a few steps up elevated. She gave the Sith a look that said 'come for me I dare you', before she did a Force Jump back up the Grand Staircase in a mean backflip.

Just as the swath of Republic Troops at the Grand Staircase leading up to the Senator's chambers let loose with a grand barrage of a spray. Smoke grenades ripped down into the Sith forces as sprays of Republic fire slammed everywhere on top of their heads.

Cassy herself; landed from her Force Jump to the spookily quiet 2nd floor, where mist was everywhere and the large double bay doors into the Diplomat's Chambers lay ahead. She waited atop the stairs, relaxing her mind at a slow exhale.

She stared down the Grand Staircase; she could hear everything down there. But if they did make it through; if any Sith did make it to the 2nd floor. Then they'd have to face her. Hopefully, those Hyperdrives were coming along nicely; and the Senator perhaps had already begun putting out a distress beacon...but that of course; was asking too much.

Her sky blue lightsaber hummed in her hand as her emerald eyes peered down the large staircase once more.

Doviculous watched as the battle raged around him, explosions rang out and blaster fire filled the air. What wind there was stank of ozone and death, it invigorated him. One Republic trooper managed to get closer to Doviculous to let off a few pot shots, but Doviculous merely used the force to slink around a corner to avoid the shots before whipping back around to grip the soldier with the force and yank him into the air, slamming him into the ceiling. He'd keep his hold on the soldier and would slam him into the wall a few times before letting his crushed corpse fall to the ground with a dull wet thud, blood leaking out from the breaks in his armor. Doviculous turned as the soldier next to him was blown backwards by an explosion, and Doviculous quickly scanned to locate the source and he discovered what had slain the soldier.

A Republic trooper in thicker armor than the rest holding some sort of grenade launcher popped off another one in the direction of two Imperials. The grenade bounced once off the ground before detonating, sending fire and shrapnel everywhere as it tore through both of their bodies like paper. Doviculous narrowed his eyes and stalked towards the Soldier, who turned and eyed the Sith with obvious hate before launching a grenade towards him. Doviculous gripped the grenade as it flew towards him and redirected it into a row of Republic troopers, who perished horribly as they were flung in every which way. The soldier popped off another, which Doviculous redirected into a nearby room, sending it into chaos and killing an innocent ship help who was hiding within. Doviculous was only 5 meters away when the next one came, and he did what he did with the last two, and flung it towards it's sender, who only had enough time to take two steps back before it exploded and killed him.

Doviculous chuckled darkly and was about to wheel on more Republic soldiers when the distinct hum of a lightsaber caught his attention and he spun on his heels towards the staircase. It was a woman, roughly a few years younger than Doviculous, wielding a cyan colored blade which was swiftly cleaving one of his troopers in half. Finally! A challenge! He thought to himself as he reactivated his own crimson blade, which prompted the Jedi to search him out among the chaos. Doviculous grinned madly under his helmet and began to stalk towards her as the fighting intensified to a crescendo of madness, smoke and explosions covering the battlefield as streaks of red and blue illuminated the darkness. Doviculous raises his crimson saber to deflect a few incoming blaster bolts from the Republic scum, and suddenly sprinted into their lines.

He was a monster. A beast of the dark side, he let it flow through himself as he slaughtered the troopers. He sent a fist careening into a trooper's helmet, shattering the glass and buckling the metal as it connected. He would brought his saber around and sent it through the man's torso, spearing him like a fish recently caught before quickly tugging it out and moving on the next victim. He unleashed a torrent of lightning from his left hand point blank into a trooper, the man screaming in agony as the lightning superheated the metal and fused it to his skin. He left him there, writhing on the ground like a abused animal before beheading a trooper who was trying to turn his heavy turret around to shoot Doviculous, but he was not fast enough and he paid with his very head.

The Imperial troopers were thinning fast, but they were not on Doviculous' mind right now. What was on his mind was the Jedi and these inconveniences in his path, these damnable troopers who tried in vain to stop the Sith from moving. He would not have it, they would all die from his hand, from his blade, from his fury. He de-limbed another soldier before gripping another in the force and raising him high into the air, the very last soldier of the Republic. Doviculous looked around and noticed that all of his forces were slain, and only he and this last pathetic soldier remained on the battlefield. He glanced upwards toward the staircase and saw the Jedi waiting for him as the dust settled over the battle, bodies littering every corner of the chamber.

"Ah, the sweet thrill of war. Insatiable is it not?" He would say through his mask's vocalizer, which gave it a more mechanical tone and accent for his normally deep baritone rumble. "I did not expect this much resistance, I thank you for it... Jedi. A chance to test my skills once more against the puppets and their liar puppeteers." He would then look to the trooper he had in his grip and would begin to squeeze, the chestplate of the soldier visually buckling under the strain of the force. He would keep squeezing, the chestplate imploding inward as it cut through flesh and broke ribs, blood splattering out onto the floor as the trooper died in horrific agony as his entire chest cavity was crushed inward by the force.

Doviculous let the body fall and turned back to the Jedi, and slowly unhooked his mask, savoring each second that passed. He let his helmet fall down the stairs with a clatter, his face now exposes to the Jedi, revealing a Devaronian with blood red skin. His face would be more on the lean side, the entire right side of it covered with horrible burn scars, some of the cheek bone exposed through the damaged flesh. His entire right eye would be gone, replaced instead by a cybernetic photoreceptor with a blood red glow which would whirl softly as it zoomed in on the Jedi's features. The Jedi would also notice half of his right horn was missing."My my, what a pretty one... too bad I'm going to have to break that face of yours..." He said with a dark cackle and brought his saber up into a defensive Soresu style as he slowly stalked up the stairs, not wanting to rush into battle as she had the high ground, and therefore the advantage.

[Cassy]

Cassy heard the crunching screams of agony from down below; and the dogfight outside seemed to thin into a white noise like environment of near silence. The deck below let forth with a few final screams and explosions; too which Cassy clanked down the steps; her black robes slinked behind her as she heard the hum of another lightsaber he trot down the stairs stopped.

She watched the visage come into view; the fully armored behemoth with a dual phase; greatsword sized lightsaber in hand; stomped up the stairs towards her. The mask of the being began to whirr and click; it fell off with a clank; and Cassy didn't even budge. She furrowed her brow; taking in the expression on the...face of this Sith.

Devaronian, but his face...it was seered and scorched. She looked beyond it; and stepped to the left; on the same stair her lightsaber hummed on as she listened to the words of the Sith.

"You senseless man, this is nothing to be thankful for." she referred of course to the carnage all around them; the smoking ship said all but a million words. "Looks like you'll have your chance..." Cassy noted the hissing and whirring of the mechanical eye just before he began his approach up the stairs towards her.

She smirked at the hulking menace and took a step down towards him; whirling her sky blue saber a few times threateningly with each step she took downward towards him on the Grand Staircase; littered with Republic and Sith forces alike.

Suddenly; she would raise one hand and begin too invade his mind with Force Fear, she continued the look of intense determination mixed in with a grim look of peace as the Force piled down on top of the Sith. He would have to defend against it Telepathically, or else his mind would be flooded with fear and paranoia at everything she was before him; his last moments would feel like childsplay compared to the fear he'd feel.

In the midst of this; Cassy would drop her Force Fear, and twist her wrist before holding a flat palm forward. A mighty Force Push barreled down the stairs toward Sith with a mighty whooshing noise in the air; combined with a visual ripple that would slam and crunch into his armor and send him flying if gone unabated. Hopefully she'd caught him off guard by switching so quickly from the Fear to the Push.

Cassy continued to step down towards him; whirling her saber slowly and threateningly as the sound of dimmed dogfighting outside the ship continued.

Her lips pursed in seriousness as she got closer and closer to his position, stepping down elegantly, Saber held over her head with one hand in true Ataru form, freehand held forward for balance with two finger pointed as she stepped to her left; circling him from above on the stairs.

Doviculous eyed her as she slowly began her approach towards him, his good eye narrowing in determination as the dark side swelled within him. The Jedi decided to begin this duel of the fates with some a telepathic assault, one to which Doviculous had himself not truly prepared for, but none the less kept his mental shields up to par with her assault. He found that both him and her mental capacities were evenly matched, he had never really expanded on his mental power, only his physical and destructive nature. Such a test indeed! He allowed himself to think before he suddenly felt the mental assault drop suddenly as he then felt a more kinetic energy build before him and felt it explode as a powerful force wave in his direction. He would deactivate his lightsaber and would hold both arms out towards the wave of power, catching it with both as the suddenly pressure forced him to slide down a step or two.

He would smirk darkly as he suddenly shoved the force attack to the side, sending it into the nearby wall, causing it to collapse and explode, damaging the already waning integrity of the ship. The floor beneath the wall would crumble, revealing the deck below it as warning klaxons blared loudly as the ship began to crumble and fall apart. Doviculous would reactivate his lightsaber and begin to circle towards the Jedi as an explosion rippled throughout the ship. Apparently some fighting in the aft section of the ship caused a misfire which struck an important mechanism, sending a chain reaction throughout the ship. It was obvious now that the ship wouldn't last long, but Doviculous didn't care, he didn't care at all. He was getting his fight he's been aching for, and it would be a grand spectacle!

"You hear that? The ship as we speak is weakening beneath our feet, it's only a matter of time before it completely falls apart. Will you last that long, little Jedi?" Doviculous would switch to Djem So and would send out a powerful horizontal strike towards your midsection, but right as it was about to come within two meters of you, Doviculous would suddenly take a few steps back and would change his fluid momentum. He could come back not with his horizontal strike, but now with a two handed overhand strike towards your head, it's intention to cleave you down the middle. Doviculous' remaining living eye would glow as red as his mechanical one as he eyed the sky blue blade of the Jedi, which would send him back a few weeks ago... back, back on Ambria. The Jedi Master, that Twi'lek and his Togruta apprentice!

Halfway through his swing he would snarl loudly, a snarl of pure seething hatred and fury that was bubbling up through his very being, becoming his strength, his power. He hated the Jedi, hated them with every fiber of his being, he would slay this woman and thrust her head on a spike for the rest of the Jedi Order to see!

THEY WOULD ALL BURN

[Cassy]

She walked down the thundering staircase as the alloy halls above leading up the grand staircase with led lights was rumbling like thunder. She pressed her advantage with Force Push attempting to crumble him as he slid back down a few steps...before tossing the conflicting Force energies into a wall to his right in a shattering explosion akin too the sound of a hover car crash through a window rang out.

Cassy shielded her face a little, but only for a brief moment as the sparkles literally flew and danced down the staircase, coating the flickering blue glow and darkness with an array of orange flecks.

The lights powered back on; but the ship was practically crying with groans at this point...a fact the Sith pointed out at a snarl before he took a burst forward.

He came at her with a Djem So swat horizontally; she stepped into a whirling downward Shien swat. But her blade struck nothing; he came back forward with insane ferocity; good eye leaking red energy at the Dark Side pouring through him. A feint.

Her only option was too continue her downward whirl and step into a block she knew she'd regret in the morning...and raise her blade starkly above her head sideways after a fancy display of Shien adaptation as he fiented; her blade never stopped whirling backhand until at the last possible moment she spun forward with timing and blocked his downward strike; thickening as much force as she could into the whirling block as their blades collided, telekintic force ripped off of them onto the already battered stairs; swaying her robes upward a bit as a loud sizzle went off at the contact of their sabers.

Cassy slid back only a bit, before pivoting and stepping forward, her black robes flaying up behind her.

In a blur of seven strikes; Cassy whirled forward in a whirling bottletop maneuver mid-air, whirling like a ballerina and hammering at the Sith with her sky blue lightsaber faster than someone on the outside could even see.

As the attack came to a close, she'd land and gracefully do a no hand cartwheel away from him a few feet, keeping the momentum of her spin going as she no hand cartwheeled to the side.

'H--hello?!' the comm systems of the ship; barely intact sprang too life. Senator Coddleman was still alive! He hadn't been taken out by stray debris, and he'd survived the initial attack. There were three survivors on this ship...for now. Nothing could be done until this had been seen through though; Cassy had the clarity too see that at least. She wondered if the Sith saw the same. No...she doubted that very much; she thought to herself as she stared at the armored Devronian behemoth just a few steps below her on the stairs.

Their lightsabers hummed as alarms began to blare; emergency systems began to kick in and the noise began too die down slightly; except for the loud groaning and crying of the ships infrastructure. Which had been badly damaged.

[Othorious]

Doviculous moved back a step to prepare for the woman's counterattack, bringing his crimson blade close to his body to better defend at whatever she had to throw at him. She came at him with a flurry of Ataru strikes, her sky blue blade shrieking through the air like a banshee. Doviculous deflected her first strike with a quick thrust of his blade as it came towards him, angling himself on the staircase so that he'd have some leverage in case things got too close for comfort on this ruined staircase. The second strike came directly after the first and was again aiming for his torso, and much like the first, it was quickly deflected.

The saber came again and again and again, and each time it was defended against by the Sith Knight's Soresu wall of defense. She may be faster than Doviculous, but stronger? No, and she didn't have the wall of defense Doviculous had, this fight was over for her and she didn't even know it. He would have to correct her mistake, show her the error of her ways, and then kill her for the crime of being a Jedi. The saber came again and Doviculous blocked again, both sabers sending off sparks of purple from their clash. Doviculous began to back down the staircase as the final swipe came in, which Doviculous just completely dodge by leaping back so he would land at the very bottom of the stairs.

He would look up at the Jedi on the stairs and laughed, "I prefer not so uneven fighting space." He'd extend his left hand towards the stairs and using the force, he'd grip much of the broken upper section of the deck and would forcefully pull downward. The metal would buckle and bend as it was violently ripped downward towards the Jedi and the stairs. Many loose shards of metal would slam into the stairs, causing them to crack as more and more metal began to fall, turning into missiles that fell with unrelenting fury.

He knew the Jedi would get out of the way, more than hoping she would come down to his level to face him. He knew that she knew that if she didn't stop him, he would never stop in his bloodthirsty mission to execute the Senator. Suddenly the ship rocked as another explosion took out the auxiliary power generator, plunging the entire ship into darkness as the lights quit, giving Doviculous an idea. He deactivated his lightsaber and concealed himself as best he could with the force, using the darkness to his advantage as he slid into one of the adjacent hallways.

"Jedi... how does it feel? Knowing that you're alone in the darkness of the cosmos with a Sith? Are you afraid? Are you angry? Oh... I believe that you are both, I could smell it on you when I first laid eyes on you hacking apart one of my soldiers, that lust I saw in your eyes. Did it feel good to kill? To murder? Give into those feelings Jedi, they will empower you! It's the only way to save the Senator of course..."

He'd let his taunting hang in the air as he quickly moved around the broken deck, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. He'd never gotten a chance to use Dun Möch, but now was the best time as any other. The woman was just in her early twenties, still just a child, how pathetic. He would prey on that spark he felt earlier before they engaged, feed it slowly, let it grow and mature. I will make you one of us...

[Cassy]

Cassy stepped forward into several swats Djem So style as she continued to back the Sith down the stairs; his red lightsaber flared around in defense perfectly. She'd seen this style before. As she continued her overhand two handed stikes and feints; they neared the bottom of the stairs.

The humming over their sabers harmonized as she looked for holes in his form; although it was cut short when he did a backwards Force Leap. He landed; and extended a hand, making a comment about "even fighting space", she saw the force vibrate and ripple from his hands.

With a groan and crash; the Grand Staircase fell into shambles behind her; throwing metal and chunks of bars down the already ragged and sparking hall. Cassy looked back with a look of panic briefly; raising her eyebrow and launching herself through the air away from the debris plummeting down the stairs.

The aerial carthweel carried her to a position about twenty feet back from the Sith. She landed and whirled her saber as the noise of debris falling filled the air from the last bit of junk piling down the Grand Staircase.

She circled the Sith; keeping her saber above her head in a Djem So stance. Suddenly though a large crash and groan that would've made most people jump out of their skin; Cassy only looked upwards as the entire battered ship groaned once more and the ligths flickered rapidly once before cutting completely.

The sky blue glow created a blue daylight around her, the sweat around her face and eyes illuminating brightly as her lips pursed together frowned. As the Sith's redlightsaber gave his Devaronian features and mechanical eye even more of a staunch look.

The two glows and hums persisted for awhile; until the hissing noise of her opponents ligthsaber cutting off hit the air. His glowing red visage in the dark disappeared; only she remained, casting a bright blue glow.

She listened to his words; listening, but not truly. She recalled the moments he spoke of; and if her ferocity in battle invoked such compliments she was not inclined to return them. Or say anything.

"........................." she remained silent as her saber hummed melodically; she cast her eyes around, looking for him physically before beginning to reach out with the force. He was clouded; but she could feel all living things through the Force; and she was good at it. He was moving rapidly around, slinking like a shadow. A difficult position to track.

She instead chose to close her eyes; and lowered her saber into a non threatening position pointed downards; relaxed loosely in one hand. For awhile; it seemed as if she'd given up, no. The calm on her face, even with her eyes closed belied something else.

In an instant; her eyes shot open, glowing with a brilliant starlight. A mega flash; one that illuminated the entire bay went off. It could be seen from the outside of the ship; as a section of it poured whitest light out of the windows.

Through the flash; Cassy easily could make out the staunch black armor of the Sith against the light. Honing in on his position through the Force; she would zip with an amazing burst of Force Speed straight through him; cleaving him straight across the stomach with her sky blue saber as she slid past him and the lights went back off.

One moment for Force Flash, and another for her samurai like strike across the midsection. All of this happened within maybe two seconds after she began visibly relaxing; likely having blinded the Sith and leaving him open for a brief moment; all the time she'd needed.

Darkness prevailed again; and Cassy allowed her saber to act as her light, raising it above her head again in a Djem So stance; she knew the Sith was less than ten feet from her directly ahead since she'd just done a passing strike.

'Emergency Power Systems will reactivate in 5 Minutes....' an announcement from the ships whirred and slurred P.A system went off; it was badly damaged itself, with barely enough power too make the announcement itself.

She'd have too last in the dark against this Nemesis for a bit longer.

[Othorious]

Doviculous was suddenly blinded by the flash of pure white light, a devious ploy by the Jedi. He commended her for this, but that respect would not last for long. Through the blurry haze, Doviculous could see the Jedi zooming towards him, too fast for him to bring his saber to defend, so he did the next reasonable thing. He began to move out of the way of the attack, but his armor combined with the daze of the flash made him more sluggish than he normally would be, and the attack somewhat hit. Her sabe rended a large gash across his chest armor, the tip of her saber cutting a small line across his chest, a burning pain spiking insanely as he gritted his teeth in determination. The entire area was again plunged into darkness and Doviculous knew she would not be swayed so easily, or even at all. This time, he would not hold back, even if he had to tear the entire ship down to slay her and the Senator.

Doviculous wheeled around to where she was standing, blue lightsaber like a burning pyre in the darkness. Fool... He thought to himself as he gathered the dark side within himself and combining his speed and power, began to assault her with condensed bolts of lightning. He would fling his right hand towards her, sending a bolt of sith lightning wheeling towards her chest, then using the force to augment his speed to quickly move positions, would fire another towards her left leg. As he slid into the darkness once again to find a new spot to rain his lightning down on her, something in his mind clicked and he remembered the words of a certain Sith back on Ziost, a day that seemed like an entire lifetime ago.

"A hunter chasing a hidden prey often goes hungry. Slow your self and reach out.... touch what you are seeking then ....begin the hunt. Only then will you taste the blood of your prey."

Doviculous smiled at the Hunter's wisdom and reached out with the force to touch upon the aura of the Jedi, feeling her through the force as he allowed his mind to focus all the rage and hate into a singular weapon of the Dark Side. Then, he struck out with the force, for once in his lifetime he combined the crushing power of the force with the destructive nature of Sith Lightning, sending the entire area the Jedi was in into a chaotic orgy of power. Walls would buckle and explode out towards her as lightning sparked to life in the air around her. He quickly moved into position out in the open again with his mind firmly on the Jedi as he activated his crimson blade and moved in, switching to the opening stance of Djem So as he brought his blade down towards her with five strikes.

The first strike would be angled more towards her upper chest/neck area, his grip would be one handed as he already moved himself in for the second strike that would follow. He would swipe at her with his blade in a horizontal slash, his crimson blade slicing through the air like the ghost of legend's past, a specter in the darkness that sought blood and death. His third strike fed off of his second, swinging around to come in from above in a vicious downwards diagonal slash, which led into his fourth strike. He switched the momentum of his previous slash and brought it back up for a devastating upwards diagonal slash, but instead of going directly back up in the same direction of from her left side of her hip to her right shoulder, he instead changed it so that his strike went from her right side of her hip to her left shoulder.

Then he topped it all off with a two-handed overhead slam with his massive blade, attempting to overpower her defenses and either break through them or push her back away. He would step back and switch to Soresu, letting himself prepare to go on the defensive. He'd let her taste a bit of his true power, now it was time to downplay his abilities again and let her think she has the upper hand before utterly crushing her hopes of ever leaving this bout alive. The darkness around them was suddenly lifted as the emergency power generator kicked on, flooding the entire ship with light once again. He frowned slightly, he knew the darkness was a more potent ally to him, but he shrugged the change off. He would fight either way.

[Cassy]

Cassy stood; lightsaber glowing and singing. A blue glow cast over as the warm 'buzzing' noise set her at ease, even on this doomed vessel.

Suddenly; she felt a massive stirring of the Force. The Devaronian began to harness the Dark Side. A feeling she knew all too well; the unnerving stirring of the Force she'd familiarized herself with welled from her left.

She turned and switched to a Shien backwhirl as an arc of lightning slammed into her saber. Causing her to slide back a few feet without budging, as her saber whirled like a baton and sent the lightning smacking into the alloy walls in a loud bang.

The brief hum of her lightsaber in the silence; her blue glow once again.

A second bolt; this time she stepped forward and with impressive Body and Telekinetic force manipulation attempted to swat the bolt of lightning straight back to it's source. After the sizzle of the lightning smacking off in the distance; she paced the dark hanger bay. Then a feeling like a tidal wave rushed over her. A massive gathering of Force energies.

It intensified as Cassy whirled her lightsaber; and whistled it off, slapping it onto the magnet on her hips without so much as a moments waste. A crashing of the Force came down upon her; as a thick wave of lightning attempted to slam down upon her from all directions.

With all her might; she whipped up a Telekinetic barrier, but to no avail as some of the lightning slipped through like a whip. Although she was able to deflect a good portion of the attack; the pressure of it alone left her face; and almost entire body sore. Her robes smoldering; scorched now in some places, exposing skin.

On one knee now; she looked up as the Sith came barraging forward. With a swift call of her lightsaber from the magnet at her waist; she rose up. A quick up and down; flick of her wrist as she backed off Ataru style; her blade hummed as his first two attacks (upper neck with first; crashing horizontal with second after continuing to backstep).

With her momentum going backward; she turned her heels and leaned as the first diagonal slash whizzed by her. The second one came from below so she slid her lightsaber with his and threw both of their saber's upward (upward diagonal), using his own momentum with him as her saber whirled around in her hand from the impact; making it easier and simpler than resisting the force each time their blades touched. This type of lifting parry saber whirl was easy for her since she was so much shorter than he was.

He then raised his blade mightily into the sky; in a one second pause he brought the great red saber down in a blurring mega crash that left a huge dent in the bay floors as Cassy whirled her saber and sidestepped such a telegraphed attack. He wasn't extremely fast; so that attack wasn't all that threatening too her. 'However' she'd taken massive hits during that exchange with his Dark Side abilities; such a shame.

The lights flickered back on; and showed the monstrosity that was the Hangar Bay. Ships overturned; the innards of their parts, engines, tools, bodies......everywhere. LEDS destroyed. Even in the dim emergency lights; it looked horrific. However, she used this to steel herself into thinking that this all could've been avoided....had this being not wasted their talents on the Dark Side.

As she noticed him switch into a defensive Soresu stance; she watched him circle her; a red glow cast over his every move from his saber above; his visage haunting. A huge orange glow across his armor; scorched, signaled where she'd striken him. Her clothes were literally smoking as the lights began to flicker back on; the noise of a generator.

Not a moment after the lights flickered back on; he'd have one second too take it in; and another second to be blinded by another ecstatic Force Flash that resounded into the air like a whip. The lights turning on; into the Force Flash combined into quite the distraction.

With a noise like settling soda; the blinding light would begin to fade and sizzle away as the regular (destroyed) hanger deck could come back into normal view. The back of Cassy's robes could be seen, hoping up the Grand Staircase in stunning Force Leaps. Her mastery of the Body Force showed as she leaped upon large ten foot piles of debris blocking the staircase, only to fling herself to another; and another until she cleared a rather large pile, landing back up on the second floor.

Setting off with a quick jog; she could barely navigate herself down the short hallway that was wrecked literally from the battle, scorch marks and more bodies on the way to the large bay doors to the Diplomat's chambers. As she approached the bay doors; she noticed they were malfunctioned; slightly cracked open from damage. Reaching out with the Force, as the Sith could be right behind her. She slid it open at a mighty groan and creak with the Force as it opened within a few seconds of effort.

Stepping in, she looked around the large ornate room. Glass was everywhere; destroyed items. Desks overturned. The Diplomats Chambers were a wreck. Republic Guards had been killed here in a final stand against the Sith Forces that were also littered around the chambers. The 'Private Chambers' of Senator Coddleman still sat closed; a blue glow sitting strong across the locked room from the LED lights designed into it.

Cassy; lightsaber still active, turned and faced the malfunctioning bay door into the Diplomat's Meeting Chambers. She knew the Sith was coming; she could feel his presence, even from this distance.

Suddenly; the LED alloy door slid apart in a diagonal manner behind her and Senator Coddleman stepped out into the open.

"I saw you enter on my holocam; it...was horrible they all died protecting me!" he shrieked.

Cassy merely stared at him; lightsaber humming in hand; black robes ragged all around her draping onto the floor. Her body sore as she chanted 'Force...Healing....Face......Force...Healing Legs.....Shoulder.....Force....' in her mind while staring him down. Her body began too sooth as Revitalize kicked in.

"We can't let their sacrifice be in vain! Did you make contact???" she took her eyes off of him and back to the partially cracked back doors.

"Yes! A dispatchment of four Jedi and some Republic Guardsmen are on their way; they should be out of Hyperspace in less than five minutes!" he gasped.

[Othorious]

Before Doviculous' eyes could adjust to the lights coming back on, he was assaulted by another Force Flash from the damnable Jedi. He kept his blade up as his vision returned, but instead of the form of the attacking Jedi, he instead saw her fleeing from him, back towards the Senator's chambers. Doviculous smiled as she ran and slowly began his chase after her, slowly striding across the ruined hangerbay before he started sprinting after her, his heavy boots creating resounding thumps. He kept his lightsaber active and angled down towards the floor in a more relaxed state, the tip of the blade leaving a continuous slash mark wherever he went.

He watched as the Jedi nimbly leaped across each pile of debris that blocked the grand staircase on which served as the genesis of their battle. Doviculous was not as nimble as her, so instead of jumping across or going around he did what came naturally. He deactivated his saber and hooked it to his belt and reached out with the force with both hands extended towards the piles and began to rip them apart and scattering them across the ruined staircase one by one. When the final pile was removed out of Doviculous' way, he then arrived at the second floor in just one big bound, finding the door the Jedi fled through to be malfunctioning and closing before he could reach it. No matter, it would bend to his will as did everything, including the force. So with both hands he gripped the door with the force and pulled it apart slowly, making his entrance a bit more dramatic for prosperity's sake. He scanned the room quickly, seeing both the Jedi and the Senator. What a treat, both of them in the same room?

He chuckled darkly and regarded the senator with a mocking salute, "Salutations Senator Coddleman, my name is Asmodeus, and I am your Judge, Jury, and Executioner. On behalf of the Grand Empire of the Sith, I hereby sentence you to death." He'd activate his blade after those words were spoken, casting a crimson glow across the entire room which clashed with the Jedi's blue blade. Time seemed to slow down as he took his first step towards both the Jedi and the Senator, the thud of his boot sounding impossibly loud as the blood drummed and throbbed in his ear, the rush of violence filling him. Time seemed to quickly revert back to it's normal speed as the battle began to start anew, with Doviculous and the girl re-engaging.

Doviculous brought his blade around from below towards the girl's legs with only his right hand, while his left gripped a piece of the overturned furniture, a chair, and flung it towards her. He'd step to the right, using telekinesis to grip a few more of the objects scattered around the place and would begin to use them as ballistic missiles against her. First was the desk near the chair he flung earlier, and with a quick swipe of his left hand he sent it rolling towards her in one quick motion. He then gripped two large ornamental stone decorations from the walls and hurled both of them at her before suddenly rushing in with his lightsaber, attempting to disarm her, literally. His blade was angled towards her right arm, although his aim was a bit off from the chaos of the thrown objects, so instead it might leave a burn gash or miss completely.

[Cassy]

Cassy felt the Dark Side of the Force nearing, and knew exactly what it brought with it. As if on cue; the half opened diagonal doors leading into the Diplomats Chambers began to creek and groan open on their own it appeared to Senator Coddleman. However; Cassy knew better, lightsaber humming in her grasp; both her hands gripped around it as she held it in front of her at the ready.

The groaning stopped as the door was slammed all the way open. As the Devaronian Sith walked through, a menacing look in his glowing red eye. The mechanical one whirred and clicked; settling on Cassy and Senator Coddleman.

"You don't get too make that decision, my fallen friend." she stepped forward to meet him whirling her saber once slowly like a bat at her side as she walked the few steps necessary to be within striking distance of him. Suddenly a saber sweep at her feet; she performed a sideways bottle top flare; her feet leaving the ground as she whirled her saber singing with each whirl as she landed safely on the ground a few feet to the side.

She felt the Force being yanked throughout the room; and immediately followed his hand in a fleck of her eyes; not taking them off of him for too long.

The desk came flipping; and Cassy stepped into it's approach with a viscous swat that split the desk in two like butter from her sky blue lightsaber; which whirled with momentum in her wrist from the slash with style. As the desk flew around her in a large sizzle and spark; the two pieces slamming into the floor and walls behind her; she felt the Force still being whipped around.

The two ornate stone lions ripped themselves from the walls and rocketed towards her. With a cartwheel she dodged the first; it slammed through a table in the room. Her momentum carried into a sideways leap; propelled by the first as the second slammed where she'd been standing with a stone shattering thud, breaking the statuette to pieces.

She landed from her sideways hop and as her black boot touched the ground he rushed in to meet her; an easy parry for her as she swatted his saber to the side in a backhand Shien whirl; flipping her saber behind her back intimidatingly as it continued to spin behind her like a fan; she stepped towards him.

'A sizzling flash resounds in the room', Cassy whirls her blade above her head into a two-hand grip and performs a downward Shogun face slap with her blade, 'A second sizzling flash fizzing into vision with an almighty burst' A second brutal step forward; augmented by Force Speed and Force Strength with another downward slap towards him. She doubted by now that he could match or come close to her use of Body Force, and the sheer strength behind these slashes would be much more than any force he'd felt impacting her saber thus far.

The two flashes and crashing downward slashes went off in a brief series of two seconds as the two strikes resounded with the noise of the light and hum of her saber crashing against his. Her version of the Falling Avalanche; Djem So technique, used for disarming and overpowering ones foe. Augmented further into the 'Flashing Avalanche', which took away the opponents ability to see during the Falling Avalanche; the two swats coming timed in sync with the ensuing bursts of white light from her. Likely catching the Sith off guard and hopefully either knocking his saber loose from his hand or killing him outright.

The last flash sizzled away into small orbs and flecks of light; dispersing across the room at bounces across the floor.

Cassy strafed; blade raised above her head into a Djem So stance after whirling it at her side like a whip once.

Senator Coddleman was currently attempting to crawl back too the doors to his Private Chambers. However when he reaches it from his crawl across the floor; the doors are malfunctioning, resulting in him banging on the hand pad; the key pad, and then the LED lit door itself; pleading for it too open. For it too let him out of this insane room. He rubbed his eyes; somewhat dizzy and blinded from the flash himself, and delirious with fear.

(Outside)

The cruiser drifted; powerless in the center of the chaotic dogfight as Republic and Sith craft whizzed by view, chasing one another relentlessly. The emergency lights casted a bare dim glow from inside the completely wrecked ship. The dogfight between the Republic and Sith continued as several sonic boom like noises and flashes were heard.

Seven Jedi Hammer Heads; more than expected. Leapt out of Hyperspace, bypassing the dogfight completely and B-lining for the downed cruiser. The Hammer Heads would spin; and drift into an air-braking stop as they neared the stuck open, and shield-less entrance to the hanger bay. The seven craft whipped around as they broke; levitating slowly as their engines pointed this way and that for their landing; which was taking a bit longer than usual considering the wrecked Republic Ships across the Hangar Bay; equipment fallen down from the ceiling, piping everywhere, and lost but not least the far gone bodies of the Republic and Sith forces sprawled everywhere was making landing quite the task for the Hammer Heads; fairly decent sized craft in their own right.

Cassy felt the Force; albeit somewhat of a whisper from across the room. She felt it.

"You don't have much time." she smirked at him from across the room, circling him with her saber held over her head in a Djem So stance. "I believe our escort out of here has arrived....." she felt it distinctly now. There were at least eight or nine Jedi landing here on the cruiser as they spoke. It would however probably take them minutes to land, too sort through the chaotic scene down in the Hangar Bay, and find them here. Precious minutes; during which anything could happen, and probably would.

Doviculous was prepared for the Jedi's Force Flashes, you couldn't fool this Sith Knight too many times. When the flash came he instantly knew what to do when light flooded the small room and quickly shut his eyes to avert most of the blinding damage of the flash, opening his mind and body into the force to aid in his actions. He let himself become one with the Dark Side, channeling his actions as the Jedi moved in to attack him with her saber, bringing his up to block against the first strike which was far more stronger than he anticipated. The girl was obviously using the force of her body to augment her strikes, trying to surprise Doviculous and end the Sith's life while he was blinded. Admittedly, Doviculous was thrown off guard by the sudden strength in her attack, but was not overly taken aback by it as it served now to only increase his determination and lust for violence. The second strike came in, and while the Jedi had a greater understanding of the Force of the Body, Doviculous had more physical strength and proficiency in the way of Djem So, and managed to stave off her attack.

Doviculous' sight quickly returned to him after the effects of the flash wore off, and he smiled at the Jedi, who moved away from him in a defensive position. He was about to engage her again when a ripple in the force struck him like a ton of permacrete. He felt the sudden arrival of more force users, and concluded that the Senator must of called for backup while him and the Jedi were engaged in battle. No matter, Doviculous would conclude his business here before they could intervene. He could not, would not fail the Sith Council again.

"You don't have much time."

"I believe our escort out of here has arrived....."

Doviculous laughed, "You truly believe that your reinforcements will arrive in time to save you and the Senator's pathetic lives? A laughable and futile hope, it's time to end this charade and dispose of you and fulfill my mission..." Doviculous let forth a malevolent guttural roar as he slammed his right boot down on the ground, a ripple of destructive force exploding outward into the ground beneath them. The ground would buckle and shift as thick strips of metal were shoved upward and the overall structural integrity of the room compromised as parts of it fell away into the deck below.

Using the sudden ferocity of the attack to his advantage, Doviculous wheeled onto the Jedi with fury unbound. He wasn't going to hold back any longer and he let all of his fury manifest itself as his saber, a whirling blade of red death and chaos that would smite all of his enemies. He opened up with a flurry of three powerful strikes, the first that would come would be a powerful one-handed horiztonal blow in from her right side meant to distract her as his right hand unleashed a bolt of lightning at her unprotected flank. He'd step back and switch his saber from his left hand to his right hand as he attacked again. The second strike was a in the form of a ferocious impaling motion towards her upper left side of her torso, more around the shoulder area. If the last strike was successful, he's attempt a vicious left hook towards her face in an attempt to disorient her.

As her vision seemed locked in on the Sith, she did her best to remain calm and open all of her senses. It seemed that the Jedi were still about as far away as they were when she last sensed them. Drat. They seemed to be held up by the mess they'd left in the Hangar Bay.

As his words hissed their resentment for everything she was, she felt similar distaste for his rudeness, and blatant disregard for life on many scales. What had been done to him? To drive him so far down the path of the Dark Side? So much Rage, she felt it even as it swirled about him now.

"Get down!" she yelled to Senator Coddleman who continued to beat on the panel of his private quarters, crying out to non existent help. He heard her and immediately did a dive and crawl behind some of the statuettes flung about near the overturned couch.

A gravity well of Force energy seemed to pour into the Sith as he slammed forward in a burst, falling upon her with a crashing strike. She easily sidestepped and whirled her saber, attempting to spin into him and decapitate him. However she was ran through, straight into her shoulder. His red saber hubbed loudly as it impaled through her, her feet slightly off the ground as she howled in pain.

A left hook crashed into her face as blood leaked from her, sending her flying off the saber as the rage of his Force augmented into his punch launched her through the debris to land near Senator Coddleman.

She spurted blood from her shoulder and grabbed it, feeling extreme heat and dizziness begin to take her over. Her knees shook from the sudden influx of pain as she lay on her back, her black robes sprawled and singed from their lightsaber duel.

The Sith was similarly scorched and singed from close calls, although...he'd bested her. She lay there, her left hand clasping her right shoulder, lightsaber still firmly in hand in her right hand although albeit it had been deactivated when she'd been launched by his punch; she hadn't wanted to land on her own blade.

Her mind raced as Senator Coddleman spun into view, she sat up her back to the overturned couch as he hunched over her.

"G-GET UP!!!!" he shook her once, as she howled in pain. The Force....it grew stronger! With each passing moment, an entourage of about a dozen Jedi cleared through the debris on the Grand Staircase and eventually would begin their rapid Force Jumps up the stairs, four green sabers, five yellow once, and three blue ones hissed on as a group of tan and brown robed Jedi, with a few garbed in all black or blue, landed from massive somersaults at the top of the stairs.

They still had a ways to go, as they made their way around the 2nd Floor, attempting to locate the Diplomat's Chambers.

Back in the room, Cassy sat up her hair loose and wild around her face, her shoulder bleeding with a hand over it. Senator Coddleman looked up into the eyes of the Sith with fear; beckoning him to leave, cursing his existence.

"So....what....is this what you live for?" she looked around at herself, defeated as she shrugged some of her hair out of her face, although it nearly hurt to move. She heaved heavily once, and sighed. She began to churn 'Force....Healing....Shoulder......' through her mind. Softly. She could only heal slowly, anything else would give her away. Although...it was probably futile. One strike.....was all it took now.

Doviculous watched the Jedi slam into the wall near the Senator, and not get back up. His gaze fell upon the Senator now, whom was defenseless now, his Jedi protector sprawled out amongst the wreckage of the office. He deactivated his saber and descended upon the Senator with a snarl, wrapping his hand around the Senator's neck and lifting him completely off of the ground. "The time has come, Senator. Now join your compatriots in the dark void!" Doviculous slammed the palm of his left hand into the Senator's face, and began to funnel the force into his hand as he began to squeeze down on his skull. The Senator's muffled screams rose to a crescendo as the flesh on his face began to cave inward, blood seeping out to create a small puddle on the floor.

Suddenly the Senator's head imploded inward in a shower of blood and gore, brain matter falling down to the floor with sickly wet 'plops'. Doviculous let the now headless body crash to the floor and turned his attention to the wounded Jedi Knight. "Do you see now? The power of the Dark Side is powerful. If only you had not been so stubborn, and joined me! Think of what you could have learned... the power you would have held at your very fingertips! But... your foolish actions have doomed you!" He'd raise up both hands up as if to fire lightning but would suddenly stop before he could, turning his head towards the door. He'd look back at the Jedi and would wink slyly before activating his lightsaber and quickly cutting a Devaronian-sized hole in the ground before leaping in himself.

Doviculous had sensed the newcomer Jedi exactly at the right time, and now was the time to make his fantastic tactical retreat from the ship. His mission was a success, the Senator was dead, and now the ship was soon to croaking off too, but not with him on it. He quickly began his escape through the ruined hallways adjacent to the main chamber with the destroyed stairwell. He'd have to find an alternate route down to where the ship he arrived it was docked, hopefully still there and intact. Along the way he came across a wounded, but still living Republic trooper, who attempted to put a blaster bolt in Doviculous before he could kill him. Alas, Doviculous was too quickly for the trooper, and decapitated him in one foul swoop of his crimson blade, not even breaking stride as he continued down to the ship.

When he reached the area where the ship was, he found the trooper he stationed there was still alive, although a bit wounded. When Doviculous appeared in sight, the trooper stood at attention and quickly went to work prepping the ship for takeoff even before the Sith could instruct him to do so. Doviculous appreciated the loyalty and efficient manner these troops took, and waited patiently at the opening to the ship on guard, watching for anything that could go awry.
