The purple Twi'lek sat on the bed in the medical wing of the Temple. It had been nearly a week since they had returned from Ambria. It was a hectic return with his Padawan heading to the tanks to heal and Tov was sent to the other end to get hissaber limb treated. Looking down and flexing the metallic fingers on his new hand watching the mechanisms move.
Since he had returned Tov had felt like he had fail with teaching his Padawan. He was there to protect Gharassk, not allow him to get hurt. This had been the second Padawan that had been injured under his guidance. The first was Plyaa'win, she was a Rutian Twi'lek that was once his Padawan. She had gotten word that he had been injured and paid her old Master a visit. She was the one thing that made Tov happy while he was in the medical ward.
He was hadn't seen Gharassk since they had returned. He had feared that Ran had lost faith in his Master and was pleading the Council for a new one. Tov wouldn't blame him if he wished for a new teacher. He in his mind let the Togruta Padawan down when he allowed him to get injured during the fight. Though in all reality Master Anas shouldn't have put an inexperienced Padawan in a fight with a Sith. That was careless and he felt that the Council would have a punishment awaiting the Jedi Master once they learn of the transgression.
It was been a long day but he was going to be allowed to leave the ward that day. Though he was still week from the fight and need time to heal from the attachment of the cybernetic hand. Feeling tired Tov laid back on the bed to wait for whomever was going to come get him from the medical ward. Relaxing the Twi'lek Master closed his eyes, immediately visions of the crimson saber hurling toward his wrist flashing through his mind. Sitting straight up in bed letting out a scream as his eyes flew open.

Gharassk had been sent directly to the Koltol tanks right after the shuttle landing. He spend several unconsicous hours in the tank breathing through a tube and to tell the truth all he remembered was being dropped into the tank and being pulled out. Did someone from the council come to question me? Did someone visit? He thought to himself laying on the white bed in the surrounding white room stairing at the white light. He was on the edge of sleep but dispite being put through the Koltol Tank didn't have the strength to stay awake.
The next time he woke up he was stareing into the eyes of the healer, a Zabrack who looked fimilar. "Ghrassk do you like that bed or something?" Gharassk blinked a few times and looked at the same Zabrack who had done some of the check ups on Gharassk after his unsuccessful duel with his former master. Gharassk mustered up a smile for the little joke that the Zabrack healer had made. He weakly spoke his own joking reply No...the paint is a lot better then the paint in my room. He smiled and got a chuckle from Zabrack. "Well Gharassk...you don't need to come in with a broken neck to visit the med rooms. Now do you feel like eating?" Gharassk gave a nod and asked, How bad was it this time? The Zabrack pulled a clip board answering before even reading from it. "Well aside from the shock trauma and a few fractured ribs you did well, your forehead was already scarred over mostly by the time you got here so no telling if it will stay." Gharassk sighed still remembered the headache, and the backache, and the overall pain for that reason.
"Your master is fine by the way! I'm not the one treating him but from what i hear he'll be releaced soon." Gharassk nodded, That's good; how long i got to rest, and when can i vesit him? "Only a day or so. you can visit him tomorrow actually." The Zabrack helpped Gharassk out of the bed and Gharassk fell back down onto it as his legs that hadn't been used for several days where getting work again and his head throbbed again. Tell the room to stop spinning please? Gharassk joked again, it was turning into the way he delt with pain and annoience.
Today
Gharassk was sitting on the edge of the bed of his own room. Holding his new Crystle in his right hand turning it and gayzing through it, he was happy it hadn't fallen out of his pocket during he and Tov's battle with the Dark Jedi. Today was the he got to visit Tov and Tov was apparently going to be released from the med labs. He looked at the clock through the Crystle as it changed to 8:00 galactic time the opening of visitation hours. He stood and began on his way to see his new master...

Seating up in his bed breathing heavy he rubs his face with his hands. Singing his legs around and sitting on the edge again. He could sense a familiar presence, it was his Padawan. He was kinda glad that he was ok, but it was going to be awkward seeing Gharassk. Tov was blaming himself for the injuries that the Togruta sustained while on Ambria.
"So you're the one to get me."
Tov said even before the boy walked into the room. He knew he was on the other side. It had been a long week. He hadn't slept week, every time Anas closed his eyes he saw the Devoranian severing his arm. He hadn't had dreams like this since he lost Master Jetter to the Dark Jedi.
Tov didn't even have his sabers with him. They were returned to him room in the Temple along with his robes. Though the Jedi Master had thought lately of changing his wardrobe. Hopefully he could get a different lease on life with a new look. He had wore his trademarked purple robes since he was Knighted. It was about timethe for some change.

"So you're the one to get me." Gharassk head his master say before he entered the room, he turned the corner and tossed his Crystal up into the air and caught it before pocketing it and rubbing his head. It still hurt but he was doing a lot better. How ya doing master? he said with a bow as he noticed Tov sitting up and pulled a chair that was in the corner over and sat down to talk with his mentor. He noticed the shiny arm that was attatched to the mid forearm, Gharassk hadn' forgoten about it, but wasn't sure if he should bring it up.
(fixed but still short second will be longer.)

Tov watched his student walk into the room, tossing the crystal in the air. The Twi'leks mind went back to a week prior. They had arrived early so Gharassk could pick a second crystal for a spare saber. He didn't want to push the young Jedi into duel wielding but most of the time Padawan imitate Masters.
That wasn't the case for Plya, Tovs first Padawan. She decided to go with a double bladed saber. Though it was also able to be disconnected and used as two separate sabers. Looking up when Ran asked how he was doing.
"I am fine my Padawan. They say im able for light duty. My injuries were server, they were surprised that I made it out alive."
Yes, Tov was alive it was all thanks to his Padawan. If he hadn't come when he did the Sith would've killed him. He knew that he owed the Togruta his life. Though that's what a Master-Padawan relationship is all about. Protecting one another. But in Tova'nas' eyes it should be more of the Master protecting the Padawan.
"It'll be about a week or so before I can start training for myself. But they want me to stay at the Temple for a week to get my strength back up. All this doesn't mean that I can't still put you through some mild exercises."

"I am fine my Padawan. They say im able for light duty. My injuries were server, they were surprised that I made it out alive." Gharassk nodded understandingly. Gharassk was to be truthful suprised too, "It'll be about a week or so before I can start training for myself. But they want me to stay at the Temple for a week to get my strength back up. All this doesn't mean that I can't still put you through some mild exercises." Gharassk smiled happy to be getting training but felt his head and back saying no Can't i have a day off? he said some what joking noing that neither of the two would be in shape to do anything but eat and sleep today.
Gharassk still hadn't eaten anything today and he thought Tov didn't either, if he was hungry Gharassk could leave and get some food to bring back. You eat yet? he asked from his chair as an idea for part of his training hit him, Even though neither of us can do a lot of work for a couple days i can still work on my saber, sound's like an easy bit of training for both of us. Gharassk thought of another question and realized that even unconsous days without a master where annoying. What little he was aweak for throughout the week he was without Tov and reminded what it would be like without a master. What time do you get out of here?

Tov shot his Padawan a 'you've got to be kidding' look asking for a day off. Though it wouldn't be anything physical. The Padawan did have a point he did have saber to build, though that took a lot of mental focus to meditate over the crystal.
"I haven't eaten yet. Also I should be out of here soon. We can go back to my room and make something."
That was one of the perks that was nice of being a Master. His room was much larger than everyones elses. So he can have some niceties in his room, such as a place to cook and such. He flexed his new hand then caught Gharassk looking at it.
"Don't be afraid to ask question Gharassk. You can ask me anything."
All though the Master didn't trust in himself anymore but he still wanted his student to trust him. One thing Tov wants more than anything is for the younger Jedi to be able to trust the older Jedi. Suddenly a Cerean Jedi walked into the room. "Master Tova'nas you are free to go. Take it easy for the next week or so and come back if the hand starts to bother you." The Cerean Healer said giving a bow and exited the room.
Slowly sliding off the bed in the medical robes he was given. He had talked to a fellow Master that makes robes. Tov asked her to make him a new set of robes, and a glove to fit over the cybernetic hand. Motioning Gharassk to follow he headed out of the medical lab and toward the housing wing.

Gharassk saw the look that he couln't tell if was serious or playful and shot his own look of "What?!"
"I haven't eaten yet. Also I should be out of here soon. We can go back to my room and make something."
Gharassk was happy to hear that, he needed to eat too. But then Tov continued apparently noticing Gharassk looking at the hand. "Don't be afraid to ask question Gharassk. You can ask me anything.'' Gharassk wasn't afraid ad much wondering what Tov would think if he asked, he wanted to mainly keep off the suject for Tov's benifet. Does it still hurt? Can you feel the new hand? He said looking at it but didn't get an answer before the Cerean Jedi healer came in, "Master Tova'nas you are free to go. Take it easy for the next week or so and come back if the hand starts to bother you." Gharassk stood from his chair and walked behind Tov as they moved down the hall to the rooming area and Ghrassk wasn't sure if Tov even wanted to answer the question anymore, Gharassk wouldn't really want to answer either. He pulled out the Crystle again to contimplate a hilt design while they mad the walk to the room that seemed longer then normal.
Do you remember when i was knocked out back during the duel? Gharassk wanted to explain it to his new master what he saw in the dream even if it was just him being crazy.

It was a longer walk then he thought to his room from the medical lab. Punching in the code and then pressing the button the door slid open. Stepping through he saw he new robes hanging on a hook above his bed. He knew his Padawan wouldn't mind if he changed. As he grabbed the clothes he heard the remark made by the Togruta.
The statement took the Twi'lek back to the previous week. Scenes from the encounter flew threw his head as his mind played his thoughts like a holovid. Shaking it off he started to get dresses in his new black robes.
"I can feel everything that I do with the hand. Every now and then it hurts but they say after awhile I will never know that I have lost my hand."
Tova'nas said slipping his new tunic on and then fastening the belt around his waist. The Master sat on the bed and slipped his boots on. For now he would forgo the glove that he had been made from his friend. Then the second statement came from his student.
"Sit, tell me Gharassk. You seem troubled about something."

Gharassk was walking around the much larger room while Tov got dressed, Gharassk wasn't exactly shy but he still didn't think watching would be proper.
He heard Tov respond to his question about the dream, when he looked back to Tov sitting on the bed he noticed the change in robes, he was now wearing darker robes, they looked new and fresh, but something was un-settling about them, they weren't "Tov". "Sit, tell me Gharassk. You seem troubled about something." Gharassk found the nearest chair and set it down a few feet from the bed. It isn't that I'm troubled, But while i was out i had a dream, kinda like how people describe an out of body moment to be like. He said trying to describe the first part. I was back on Rodia where my former master revealed himself and almost killed me, remember when i told you of that? He had been with Tov for a few weeks now and in that time confided in detail what only a few Jedi barely knew about.
In the dream though i lost the battle but i was only watching the duel, no help came like it did before. But i was told to "weak up" while in the dream as if someone was really talking to me. You once told me you had dreams, nightmares, are they like that? Gharassk was surprised at himself that he had started confiding like this to Tov, granted that was what a master and apprentice where supposed to do, but he had never done this with his previous master. He was glad to know he was already creating a strong bond between a relatively new master.

It was great that Gharassk was confiding in him. Though it had to be at the one time where Tov was not confident in himself. He had always been very confident in his abilities, some even said it was borderline egotistical. It was not the case since the fight on Ambria.
Tov thought for a moment, before standing and moving over to where he kept his food. The master started preparing the food, fruit and other quick things. It sounded more of a vision of some sorts to him rather than a nightmare. The dreams that Tov would have was of his master dying the same way everytime. But also it could be Gharassks subconscious telling him something.
"Yes, I recall you telling me that. That quite interesting, so no one came to help you. So what it yourself telling you to wake up or was it your pervious master?"
Tova'nas stated as he handed some of the cut fruit to his apprentice on a plate. Then he took some for himself and went over the table and sat down. He motioned for Ran to join him at the table.
"My dreams were never altered. They always remained the same each time. The mind is a tricky thing, my young Padawan. You must be mindful of them, you can learn from them at times."
Master Tova'nas should be taking his own advice. But he was too worried he had messed up and hadn't done the right thing on the planet against the Devoranian.

"-So was it yourself telling you to wake up or was it your pervious master?" Gharassk realized he had forgoten to mention who was speaking, No- he stood and stepped over to the table as his master had geastured him to do, - it wasn't me it was my former master... That alone was strange, and he was more talking, um, yelling, at the other me. Gharassk took part of the fruit and realized what he was saying sounded different from when he had drempt it up. But most dreams where like that.
"My dreams were never altered. They always remained the same each time. The mind is a tricky thing, my young Padawan. You must be mindful of them, you can learn from them at times." Gharassk nodded, and began to explain even more about himself and his dreams, Well i can't say mine wasn't altered, it was; but I did for a while have dreams about the duel for a while, it's a strange, scary feeling to have to put up with getting stabbed night, after night. He said with his eye falling back to the dreams he had almost forgotten. Being stabbed and having to remember the look on his former masters face, the look of anger... Gharassk returned to the present and continued eating the fruit.

The master listen his Padawan speak as he recounted his dream. It was interesting that he would have a dream such as that while unconscious. Most of them such as that while sleeping or in deep meditation. Sleep was the when he himself had the most.
"He was yelling at the person he was stabbing or the one that was watching?"
The Twi'lek asked, he was trying to understand what was happening. It was something that concerned his Padawan, so it was his duty to help him through the problem. Taking a pitcher of water and poured himself some. Then took another glass and poured some for Gharassk.
He knew all too well what Ran was goings though about reliving the event over and over again. For the last week he had to see the moment he lost his hand everytime he closed his eyes. It had been so bad at times he had been unable to sleep. Taking a sip of the water and going back to his food. Once he was done with the bit he asked a question he should've asked weeks ago.
"Who was your former Master?"

"He was yelling at the person he was stabbing or the one that was watching?" Gharassk didn't quite know how to answer that question, but he figured it out. Both of us kinda. He took the cup of water and took a drink before continuing, He started with the near dead me, and then once he was dead turned to me and told me to finish the fight. Gharassk answered and took a bit of the food in time to be asked a question he hadn't expected.
"Who was your former Master?" Gharassk wasn't expecting that question and in fact was surprised they hadn't already talked about this subject.
His name was Gwaldosa, he was a Rodian and a great Jedi! Gharassk started. But about a year ago is when i nailed down his beginning on the path to the dark side. He went on a mission and i couldn't come, i don't know what happened but that was when he started changing, as soon as he returned both me and the council noticed a difference in him, they assigned me to keep an eye on him. It wasn't long ago that i went on a mission with him and he tempted me with the dark side, i denied him and he tried to kill me scared that i would return and warn the council; which i did. But he fought me, he one but couldn't bring himself to kill me. When i returned to Rodia to rescue the stranded Republic troops, i was counting on that left over connection between us, i thought he wouldn't be able to bring himself to strike me.... i was wrong....and he... Gharassk stopped there for two reasons, he had told Tov of his duel with his former master, and he was reminded of his stomach which was now a scar that would likely never leave him, every duel he grew stronger, but he also lost part of himself each time.

Tov sat and pondered what his Padawan was saying. It had been interesting listening to what he had experienced. It gave a little more insight to who Gharassk was and where he came from. Finishing his food he leaned back in his chair and listened to the rest of Gharassks story. Nodding ever so often at interesting points.
"The fact that Gwaldosa told you to get back up and finish the fight has a major significant. It means that your old Master still cared about you. He may had been going down the path of the Dark Side, but being a Master you grow to care about your Padawan."
It was true, Tov does care about his Padawan. He would give his life to save Gharassk and that meant that Gwaldosa still had some good in him. Though was this a vision for the future or was it just Gharassks mind telling him that he needed to get up. The only thing that could be done is to let the Force guide them and find out.
"You've got to remember my young Padawan. The Force works in mysterious ways, we never know where it will guide us next. It brought us together and then it leads us into the encounter with the Sith."
The Sith, the scourge of the Galaxy. Tov looked down at his left hand and made a fist. It clenched and with a metallic sound. Its gears moved as he unclenched and started to feel a familiar presence.

Gharassk wasn't so sure, Gwaldosa hadn't told him during the duel, it happened in the dream only, on top of that he tried to kill three other Jedi that day, granted he didn't stand a chance against Teer but he still tried.
"You've got to remember my young Padawan. The Force works in mysterious ways, we never know where it will guide us next. It brought us together and then it leads us into the encounter with the Sith."
I am aware of that, i put all my faith in the force master, but i think it was just my minds way of telling me to weak up, my former master didn't stop at my near death, if it wasn't for the other Jedi he would have slaughtered me while i was out...i wish i was able to explain this better... He stopped he felt a faint presence, Gharassk wasn't very good at sensing people yet, so the fact he could feel the presence at all meant he was either getting stronger or who ever it was was strong in the force, or both.

((OOC: Switching Rune to Cyan for this one thread since Ghassrak is already Teal.))
Rune walked the Temple in a hurry. He had a goal in mind, a job to do, and it had to get done. While it wasn't something he was doing for the Council, and a private undertaking, he found it just as important. More-so even.
Master Tova'nas and his new padawan, Ghassrak Ran, and just returned to the Temple, both battered and bruised. From the message they sent, They had been attacked by a Sith, a Devaronain. From what Rune had gathered, it had been a strong force-user and an great duelist.
Rune had volunteered to debrief the pair of Jedi for the Council, that way they didn't have to leave the medical wing if they weren't up to it. However, Rune had taken the opportunity not out of convenience for Master Tov and Padawan Ran, but rather for a different reason.
If his feeling was right, and they usually were about these things, Master Tov and Ghassrak had fought the same Sith Rune had on Ylesia. A Sith had also ambushed a Republic Senator's ship, and had succeed in assassinating the Senator, despite his Jedi protector. This Sith had also been Devaronain. If this Sith was targeting Jedi and Senators, The Council needed to know, and then act.
While The Blades were fighting the Sith, It seemed this one Sith was targeting all Jedi, despite their stance on the war. But Jedi was not where his sights stopped. And it seemed he had no qualms about entering Republic Space. No one would be safe until this Sith was brought to justice. But before Rune proposed anything, he needed evidence, and witnesses worked well.
He turned into the Medical Wing of the Jedi Temple. Unlike the Temple's large corridors and many rooms, the Medical Wing was just what it suggested, a hospital. Composing of several floors which had everything from surgery to waiting rooms, it was filed with state-of-the-art equipment.
Rune walked up to the white receptionist desk, which was being manned by a purple twi'lek, young and rather bored looking. It was a slow day after all.
“Can you tell me where I can find Master Tova'nas?”
The Twi'lek jumped up at Rune's voice, startled. She looked at him for a moment, registering what exactly the Mon Calamari had said. Then she began typing away on a keyboard, and a frown settled on her face.
“Sorry Councilor, Master Tov and his padawan left not too long ago.”
Without a word, Rune spun around and exited the very door he had came in. He marched across the Temple, nodding to Masters and smiling at padawans he passed. But The Jedi Master didn't stop to talk, he rushed on by, faster that most Jedi traveled the halls.
He made it to Master Tov's room in little time. Sensing two Jedi inside, one being the Twi'lek Master, Rune rang the doorbell and hit the intercom.
“It's Master Oki, Tov. I need to talk to you and your padawan.”

Just as the Twi'lek was going to answer his Padawan the door chimed. Then the voice of the Mal Calamari Master came over the intercom. Standing making his way over to the door. Turning back to his Padawan motioning for him stand and show respect to they Councilor. Opening the door and bowing to Master Oki.
"Master Oki, what brings you here. I was under the impression we where to give our report to the Council as a whole. And please come in."
Tov said inviting the Council Member into his room. Making his way over to the bed where his glove was laying. Reaching down and grabbing it, placing it on his left hand. Slipping it on his cybernetic hand, making sure it was on covering it completely before clamping it down win the chrome clasps.
"Master Oki, I assume you know already know my Padawan Gharassk Ran."
Tov said standing in his new black and dark brown robes. They contrasted to his somewhat bright purple skin but he felt he was due for a new set of robes and just though he should pick a different color while he was at it.

Tov motioned to Gharassk to stand and show respect for the unseen Jedi. Gharassk nodded and stood facing the door in time for the master to enter. "Master Oki, what brings you here. I was under the impression we where to give our report to the Council as a whole. And please come in." Gharassk stood respectfully, until Tov addressed him, "Master Oki, I assume you know already know my Padawan Gharassk Ran." At this point Gharassk bowed, and almost shuddered when Tov said those words, not out of fear of the Jedi, but of hate for the memories that came with them.
It was true, the master did likely know Gharassk, but most likely because of what he did to get his punishment in the first place. Gharassk left the thoughts and asked respectfully between words form the two older ones. We are to make out report now? Gharassk asked, he hadn't even had time to learn about the appropriate paper work for this subject, he thought there was something he needed to fill out in this case, but he was likely wrong. Still he nor his master had that much time to reflect on what had happened, for Gharassk this was his first full day awake, Fer Tov he wasn't even sure.

Rune stepped into the room once Tov keyed open the door. It was larger that most quarters, the kind usually given to Jedi Masters. The first thing Rune noticed it that the room was a little more dry than usual. That was going to be uncomfortable for him, to say the least. The Mon Calamari always kept his own quarters very humid.
Tov and Ghassrak both stood by the door as the older Jedi greeted Rune. They bowed to him, and he bowed back with a smile. It was the first time he had met Ghassrak, as he only knew of the padawan by name.
“The Council figured, given the extent of your injuries, it might be better for you to have more rest. So, I volunteered to come down and debrief the both of you.”
The Council hadn't gone into details about the attack. But apparently, they were right when they said that Tov and his padawan could use the rest. They both looked worn out. The Twi'lek made his way over to the bed, and put a glove on his one hand. But not before Rune saw the new mechanical limb that now occupied the spot.
It pained Rune to see Jedi injured like that. Despite the shock over a cybernetic replacement though, it was a more common side affect than most Jedi knew. The job of a Jedi was dangerous, challenging. Each Jedi most likely squared off against a dark Jedi or Sith sometime in their life. With the rise in force users in the Galaxy right now, cybernetics were most likely going to become more popular.
Tov introduced his padawan, Ghassrak. Rune had heard of him before, but he didn't much care for the padawan's past. To him, everyone's future was undecided, and your past actions didn't have an influence on it. If the Force wanted you to do something or be somewhere, it would find a way to make it happen.
Rune looked the padawan over, sizing him up. Ghassrak was a rather average Togruta, with scarlet skin and blue and grey robes. He wasn't wearing anything on his feet, which Rune found interesting. After his inspection, Rune nodded at Ghassrak.
“Only by name. You did well standing by your Master's side, despite being attacked by a Sith. Most your age would've ran. You should be proud, Tov.”
Rune waiting for the others to be seated before starting. He opted not to sit, and instead paced in front of the two other Jedi. Producing a datapad from his blue sash, Rune keyed open the report he was suppose to fill out while debriefing the team.
“Lets start with your mission to Ambria. What were you planetside for?”
Rune of course, knew why they were there. Meeting some Representative or another. Being on the Council meant he got to hear a lot of things. But he wanted to hear it from their perspective.
