Zett had just gotten back from a mission with the group he was now working for. He enjoyed getting to blast holes in Imps and tick the impire off even more. The down side is he knew could count all the bounties on his head. Hebba the Hutt wanted him for escaping years ago and kept inhancing the bounty every time he avoided capture, there was now both the Republic and the Empire out to get him too.

The only down side of being in Spearpoint is that his main trade was a bit more difficult to handle now, it was harder to find a job if you where out of the way and difficult to find. Zett mainly stuck now to easy jobs that he could locate from his computer back at base. Which is just what he had done, he had taken a job that brought him to Taris of all places. There was some low life kidnapper who had messed with some royal family group, he managed to escape authorities and was hiding out on Taris. That wasn't the only part either, another Bounty Hunter had taken the same job too, Zett didn't know who this other bounty hunter was, but he thought that is he could find him they could likely settle something and work together, the pay was decent enough to split and Zett saw no reason to run after the guy in the middle of someone elses chase when the other bounty hunter might no something else about him.

So Zett began his search for the bounty hunter and leads on the hunt by picking up on different small joints. Taris had been slaughtered years ago by some sith lord, the republic had been rebuilding for a while now. It still looked like a ghost town to say the least, but there where some small groups that had resettled and set up again, and a good bar was always needed to keep the workers happy.

Zett made his way to a table where by the looks of him another bounty hunter was sitting, perhaps this was the guy Zett needed to talk to, and if not, perhaps he had some information on his prey. Ha sat down and spoke, You wouldn't happen to know anything about a bounty called Foondarr Neruum would you? Zett asked giving the name of the low life he was hunting.

Rabax left the transport shuttle that recently landed at Taris. The bounty he accepted was for someone who messed with a royal family the wrong way. He went to a nearby bar to do some research. To Rabax there were three things needed for a quick and sucessful bounty: knowledge of the planet, the bounty, and the other hunters.

Taking a seat at the table Rabax got out his datapad and begin to do some research about Taris. Taris once rival other planets like Coruscant until a Sith known as Darth Malak bombarded the planet. Now the planet was slowly being rebuilt but it is likely Taris will never return to what it was before.

Rabax now did his research on the other bounty hunters. Only one other hunter decided to take the bounty. Sadly he couldn't find any names and decided that he would have to deal with the hunter sooner or later. Just as he was about to do research on the bounty someone came up to Rabax and asked about the bounty. "Yes that is the bounty I am on right now," he said putting his hand on his blaster and looking at the other bounty hunter.

"Yes that is the bounty I am on right now," The other man said, Zett simply smiled under his helmet. Zett noticed the man moving his arm for his pistol, it was an obvious move, sometimes smart. Don't worry, blasters won't be needed. In fact- Zett said pulling his own blasters out and setting them on the table, Zett still wasn't un-armed, he was clad in mando basker armor. And all the tools that went with it. Zett slid into the seat before speaking, I'm on the same hunt and i really doubt the low life isn't worth either of us shooting each other for. Zett said factually, In fact i was thinking we should handle this together. Zett said before reassuring the other man across the table, The pay is fortunately from some royal family so the pay becomes decent. I suggest we split it 50/50.

A Pretty Purple Twi'lek came to the table by this time and Zett ordered as if he wasn't even interrupted, Bantha Burger and a Alderaanian Ale please. Once she got the other mans order and left Zett continued, So, 50/50, no to little blood shed sound good to you?

Rabax was a bit surprised at the other bounty hunter offering him a deal. He knew it would be a good idea since Taris was a dangerous planet. Looking at the bounty hunter he decided that it looks like he could handle himself and the offer was a very good one.

When a Twi'lek came by the bounty hunter decided to order something so Rabax decided to do so as well. "Just Alderaanian Ale please," he said to the Twi'lek. When she left he looked at the other bounty hunter who asked if it was a deal or not. "You got yourself a deal," Rabax said holding out his hand to shake.

"You got yourself a deal," Zett shook the held out hand and spoke at the same time, Good to hear. He said and took his blasters back and belted them. The food arived and Zett removed his helmet to take the first bite of his Bantha burger. His face was still young, it had expereance though. He had gone through a lot early in life. Out running a Hutt, living in the forest of Kashyyyk for several years. He stopped thinking about that to concentrate on the present, My name's Zett Rem, He thought they might as well know each others names so they could at least communicate, Zett was used to people not likeing him so he wouldn't press the matter of friend ship, this was just another job to pay he bills.

From what little information i found he's not in any of the refugee camps or cities they're working on, that means he likley found some abandend city and set up there, or worse the wild life got 'em. Which is bad for our end, they didn't want him dead! Zett shrugged, If he's dead out there though that really aint our problem. Zett said by this time already done with the burger, and almost done with the drink, What about you? What information did you come across?

"The name's Rabax Ceum," Rabax told Zett. Rabax thought he heard of his name before but put the thought aside. He started to drink his drink while Zett told him the information about the bounty. After finishing his drink he got out his datapad and began to do his research on the target.

Most of the information Rabax found was already told but he kept looking. Eventually he found out that the target purchased a speeder from one of the refugee camps three days ago. "Seems like he bought a speeder from a nearby refugee camp," Rabax informed Zett as he continued to do more research on the datapad.

"Seems like he bought a speeder from a nearby refugee camp," Zett nodded thinking for a second, That means he's likely way a head of us, i suppose we can search the speeder shop but i doubt he would say anything about where he was going. Zett now finished off his drink completly.

Zett thought a little longer before pulling out a com link and calling back to his droid T6, Hey T6, i need you to tap news reports of other cities in the area, i'll try and give you a speeder regestration nubmer soon, i'll need you to trace it and tell me where the speeder is. He got a blurry sounding beeping that confermed T6 understood and accepted the orders.

Perhaps we should begin our hunt?

Rabax finished his Aldeeraanian Ale and began to do research on where the speeder was bought. The camp wasn't very far from their location which was very good. He put the datapad away and got up from his seat "Alright let's go," He replied to Zett and begun to walk outside.

The two made their way outside after Zett left a tip for the waitress. They first made it to the shop where the speeder was sold to the man. Zett decided to do the talking, A Rodian merchant came out thinking he was going to get to sell a speeder to the duo. May mees help jou's? Wonderful Xt model out baacks. The Rodian said in his broken, squeaky basic.

Uh, no thanks. What we need is for you to tell us if you sold a speeder to a man named, Foondarr Neruum, we traced a speeder back to your shop. We need to know where he went.

Me, no no where he's went to. The Rodian said, "Run, Run for de hill's" he said he was goin' no no where. Zett was straining to understand the Rodian.

Zett stepped back for a second to think, Conveniently for the kidnapper, there where hills all around the town. An idea came to Zett, if he used his sensors on his ship, he could track the speeder, You have the registry number? Zett asked looking at the Rodian through his visor,

Jes, but me not able to give it outs to jous. Zett grumbled inside his helmet, he pulled out a 100 credit chip and tossed it to the Rodian. Hmm, maybes the rules just changeded. Zett smiled as the Rodian walked back to the shop and returned with a data pad.

Heere jou goes. The Rodian said handing the data pad over, Zett copied the information and set it Via Wi-Fi to T6 back at the ship, he pulled out his com link and started speaking, T6, use the ships computer, trace that speeder. A few seconds went by before T6 beeped some affirmative tweets and rolls, then some information popped up on Zett's H.U.D. That way! Zett said pointing to the mountain. As Zett began walking off the Rodian spoke his farewells.

Rabax watched as Zett recived the registry number. He knew it was a good idea to let Zett handle it because Rabax would just pull out a blaster on the Rodian instead of paying. The bounty was hiding in a mountain nearby. He followed Zett but he wondered if he could be trusted now.

While walking Rabax decided to find out more about Zett. "So Zett why did you start a career as a bounty hunter?" He asked Zett. This was a very important question to many people and determined much about their history and would also help to see if Rabax could trust Zett.

"So Zett why did you start a career as a bounty hunter?"

Rebax asked, Zett sighed, it was a subject he didn't normally talk about to anyone he didn't trust. But it beat the silence, and Zett could keep a few of the non important details out of the way.

My family was killed, someone took me in before i could be killed too, he trained me as a Bounty Hunter then disappeared, left me on my own after he knew i could handle myself. And the people who want me dead still want me dead so ain't settling down tell their out of the way. Zett left out who was after him just in case this man had some sort of ties to Hebba, it was still the truth, it was enough to answer the mans question.

By the time they got to the base of the mountain it was getting late in the Tarisian day. Zett looked up to the mountain the peak wasn't visible, but he could find the man, by this time Zett had located the speeder on his H.U.d, the exact location was somewhere in a cave as far as Zett could tell. He had guessed that Foondarr had hidden in the cave and set up some sort of camp site. His next move was likely to get to the next city and get a shuttle off of Taris, they would have to get to him and take him down before he left the cave.

Hope you can climb. Zett said as he jumped up and started to scale the mountain. He had thought about using his Jetpack but that would give him away to easily.

Rabax listened carefully to Zett's story. He never told who was after him which was a smart move but he knew that it could be researched. By the time they reached the mountain it was late but he knew that they were not going to stop here.

From that spot they had to climb the mountain. Rabax hated that idea knowing that the target will have an advantage over them but decided there was no other choice. He jumped up after Zett and began to climb the mountain.
