(Star) Pirates of the Coreilian (Shawn/closed)

Kyle Orvast had just returned from a small loot, he had heard news of a passing ship that belonged to Hebba the Hutt that was transporting a boat load of supplies and credits. He had taken his two opperantinal Frigates and pummled the large freighter to a pulp. He had taken only 6 survivors and most of the cargo was still in tact. A mostly successful run. He would like normal ask the prisoners if they wanted to stay on and work for him, and if not they could always barter for their way off the station, normally with information or with credits.

For now though Kyle was celebrating his victory, and the fact that his third frigate was nearly fully reapaired. So he was sitting at one of the tables in the bar, a Corilian Rum in a large mug and a poker deck in his other hand. He was also watching a betting screen of a swoop race taking place on Nal Hutta, he was betting on the third racer who had started in the back of the group at the start of the race, Kyle almost regretted his choice until he had two minutes ago over taken the leaders. However there where two Twi'lek dancers in the Bar that where making it a little hard to concentrate on much.

Once he had won the game and the racer he had bet on had lost the race unfortuanatly, he settled up on all the credits he both won and the credits he lost, and then he decided to go to the peddlers levels and see what items the booth owners might have this month. This was something he he liked to do, if he found tools or devices that he wanted it was pretty fair, most of the time he made those who set up shop agree to give him 13% of their profits and or 13% of their goods they brought in. After a quick glance at the shops he returned for a second game of poker, he prefered that game over Sabbac or Pazzac mainly because it was a less popular game. He had been told there where several ships that where going to be docking in a few minutes, he was normally informed by his men when this happened just because he liked to know how much money he could make.

So? Ready to start the game? He said three others at the table as the card where delt.

For the last 2 weeks there had been a large unrest plotting about the trade routes. Word was a single ship was striking at Sith supply transports and then just vanishing before another ships could get there to support to transport against this ghost of a ship. Time and time again this story would come through the pirate station as men spoke of wreckages they saw that were just obliterated into floating debris and bodies of the Siths Navy forces on board. Now it was word that this ghost ship was in the area and was loaded with things that most people could only dream of from the Siths supplies.

Only a few kilometers out now the Oracle sent a encrypted message to the station that was provided by it months ago by a random fellow they met in a docking bay. Guiding her in, the crew of the Oracle made great care to not rock her to much cause down in the may bay where Shawn and his loading crew along with a handleful of troops sat laid the treasures of plunder from the Sith transports that most men had heard of. Still playing it off as just another pirate ship though Shawn ahd told them not to reveal any of the major military stuff until the station owner was about and offering a decent price.

It was about an hour later that the Oracle had docked along one of the larger bays of the station to be able to unload a ton of cargo. As the bay doors came down from the Oracle Shawn and his crew were there and starting instantly to unload the smaller items form the ship. Some smaller speeders and some food suplies came first then some loads of random metals that were onboard alot of the ships. Waving to the dock master Shawn spoke freely to the man, "I need to see the station owner if he's onboard. I got some interesting cargo he might want to see and buy." Once Shawn got done with him he went to the back of h=the bay where several larger items were being covered by large tarps.

Kyle had a royal flush in his hand, that's when his first officer came up behind him and tapped on the shoulder, "Sir, someone says he's got some decent cargo you may want to look at...orders?" Kyle sighed and tapped out of the game he was likely going to win. Alright i'm comin', sorry boys i'll have to beat you all later. One of the men at the table leaned over to look at Kyle's cards and got irritated at what he had. Kyle stood tipped his hat and grabbed his coat before starting on his way to the docking area.

What type of ship did this guy have? Kyle asked as he was checking his pistol, it wasn't every day someone asked for Kyle, if Hebba had found him he was in a lot of trouble. It wouldn't be long before Zett and Kyle took down that enormous thorn that was in their side. "Not sure sir, another guard told me about it." Kyle nodded as he continued on, two of his own men where waiting for him out side the docking bay door, all he needed to do was go in.

The door opened and Kyle held out his arms welcoming, he was still on the other side of the hanger so it was by no means a gesture for a hug, Greetings, I'm Kyle Orvast and welcome to my little institution, i hear you have something for me? The three men with him where on guard just in case blaster bolts started flying. Kyle could now see the other man standing my a bunch of tarped over crates. So what have we here?

Standing like a stone cold captain beside his cargo Shawn had waited by for the arrival of this man that now spoke across the bay from him. Shawn was wearing his usual black robes with red under tunic, that of a Dark Jedi but yet he was not one, in all hopes he wanted it to always appear as such so he was left alone by scum who begged. Looking to this man that was greeting him Shawn kinda scuffed before waving the man over to him.

Turning about Shawn started walking boldly from tarp to tarp flipping them off. First one had what seemed to be crates marked with the symbol for light weapons such as blasters and such. The second had a mobile artillery sign on it, most of it was light plasma rocket launchers and some mobile heavy blasters. The third tarp was a bit more impressive as beneath it was a M8a1 "King Tu'kata" Main Battle Tank, one of the Siths more powerful field vehicles. The last tarp though might have been a bit more to the liking of the pirate host. Beneath the last tarp was a dozen Sith troopers standing with rifles pointed at the pirate, though in all reality it was Devastator XIII Armor sets ready to be used in combat.

Turning to look at the men standing before him he waited to see their reaction as he stepped forward before his prizes. Shawn smirked cause he knew very well that these items were much more than were normally brought to this station and as he was being hunted he had to get off his ghost ship. Giving as very stern look about to see how the rest of the unloading was going Shawn eventually brought his gaze back to the men before him.

Swiping black cloak aside he allowed the men to see the duel lightsabers at his side before speaking in a stern but foward tone. "These items need a better home than on my ship. I am here to unload and pickup needed supplies to continue against the Sith. If you have any vessels also looking to raid I suggest you let them know that I am raising war against the Sith...with or without the Republic and Jedi Ordrer wanting it." Moving forward some more with steady and heavy steps Shawn motioned for some of his men to come start checking the bigger items behind him as he waited for a response.

"These items need a better home than on my ship. I am here to unload and pickup needed supplies to continue against the Sith. If you have any vessels also looking to raid I suggest you let them know that I am raising war against the Sith...with or without the Republic and Jedi Order wanting it."

Kyle rubbed his chin a bit, before putting one hand out signaling his men to lower weapons but to still stay on guard. Well I'll admit, Kyle said as he inspected the cargo. That's an unusual request! I'll pay 9000 credits straight up, and give you free landing, docking, and re-fueling for your ship, plus free supplies and drinks for you and your men. Anything within reason of course. Kyle said starting the barter, As to you fighting the sith, I'll make an announcement, you sound like an old friend of mine. Kyle smiled looking at the things that would likely soon be his, What in blazes am i gonna' do with a bloody tank? he thought to himself looking the goods up and down.

Personally, I can't spare any of my good ships, but we have some freebooters who need work up on level 4, they've been wanting to raid something for a while now. I'm sure they'll answer your offer. MR? Kyle stopped there letting the man answer his name, Kyle's offer was up in the air now, all that was needed now was for the other man who had shown off two shinny light swords, to accept or decline the offer.

Shawn listened tot the mans offer as he began to turn about to walk around a bit to do some inspecting of the goods being offloaded. When the man finished his request for the trade and asked Shawn for his name only a grin could come acros his once emotionless face as he spun on his right heel to look at the this man before him with his guards about. Shawn looked him up and down before walking towards the group a bit, his hands coming up to pull the string to his cloak so he could take it off.

Stopping a few feet from the men he continued to smile as he drew his cloak from his shoulders and tossed it on anearby crate. Shawn was in a set of blood red robesthat a dark jedi lord might be wearing or maybe sith and from his either side of the robes hung a lightsaber hilt. Almost as if he wear going to attack Shawn reached to his sides and placed his hands on the saber hilts sticking out from their leather hilts. Tapping them with his fingers he arched a brow for a moment before unclipping the leather sheaths from his side and tossing them on his cloak. "You got a deal and as for the ships its whatever. We will need to sit down and talk a bit though if you got a nice cantina or something cause I am going to need a base of operation against the Sith and I'd like to make it this place so we got some discussing to do."

Offering out a hand to Kyle Shawn thought how the credits were a bit low but for the free drink for his men and everything else it was well worth staying a few days to let his crew get a decent rest. Waiting for the mans hand as he continued to think to himself Shawn remembered the mans other question about his name. In a bit of a more easy tone Shawn let his soldier side down now that things seemed a bit better and offer a name with the shake. "And the name Shawn...Shawn O'connor. Pleasure to do some business with a fellow outlander."

The man removed his outer robes cloak and tossed it aside this revealed two lightsabers sitting neatly on the mans belt, Kyle knew what lightsabers where, despite his disbelief in the force he knew a decent amount about the Jedi and Sith alike. Kyle was on guard a bit when the man took the sabers off the belt, But Kyle doubted he would make an attack on Kyle, not on his own station, where he had men at every corner, it was suicide. Kyle did let out a breath he had been holding when the man tossed the sabers aside and reached to shake Kyle's hand, Kyle looked at it for a second before putting his own hand out.

"You got a deal and as for the ships its whatever. We will need to sit down and talk a bit though if you got a nice cantina or something cause I am going to need a base of operation against the Sith and I'd like to make it this place so we got some discussing to do." Kyle Smiled with his white teeth, Glad to hear it! Kyle turned to his men, Start unloading this stuff, take the tank to the hanger. Kyle turned back to the fellow captain and spoke again, I'll take you to the Cantina level, we'll work something out there.

The other Captain spoke now, "And the name Shawn...Shawn O'connor. Pleasure to do some business with a fellow outlander." Kyle smiled, And mines Kyle Orvast, a pleasure to meet you! Kyle lead the way to the Cantina level, when they entered a song was just wrapping up and new singers and dancers where taking the stage, Kyle pointed to a table and his first mate took Shawn to it, Kyle went to the Bar itself and told the bar tender to send a waitress to get the order.

When he made it to the table Shawn was already sitting, Kyle sat down and then the waitress came to get their drinks, Kyle Ordered a Corellian Rum, then began speaking, So Captain, when are you planning this raid of yours? What's your target? Kyle asked trying to get some information, if anyone was going to join Kyle and Shawn on any type of raid, he would need details.
