-:Ok'tharg as a young Orc, during the First War:-
Character name: Ok’tharg Gutripper
Character race: Orc
Character class:
28th level Warrior/16th level Hunter
Character description:
Physical: Ok’tharg is a well-built Orc, as are most who participate in battle, and Ok’tharg is no exception. Raised from birth to be a Warrior and a Hunter, Ok’tharg has gained many, many scars over his lifetime, many of which are on his chest alone creating a sort of, ‘roadmap’ of scars and gashes. His skin itself is a light hue of green, which glistens in the sunlight and shines with sweat from his tedious, backbreaking daily work. His face is grizzled and rough, many scars adorning it as well. He only has one eye, his right eye lost to Night Elves during the Third War, which he covers promptly with an eyepatch. His hair is pushed back and braided on each side of his head, both braids fall down to his chest while the rest of his hair falls to his back. His beard is long and falls down to his chest as well, and the color of his hair is a dark gray, showing his old age.
Armor: Normally Ok’tharg would don a simple leather jerkin and pants, preferring to walk barefoot across the burning ground of Durotar. When training, he usually wears a thick loincloth, letting his body be exposed so he doesn’t overheat himself while training. And when in battle he wears the armor his father wore, a large bronze chainmail vest with a leather belt, cloth gauntlets covered in chainmail and large chainmail boots. This suit of armor protects himself from the most basic of combat, while allowing him to move nimbly across the battlefield.
Weapons: Ok’tharg sports a pair of twin battleaxes, who’s handles have been shortened to accompany the dual wielding of both. Both axes have been magically enchanted to be far more durable in battle, and have a blade that never seems to dull and can cut through armor like butter. Along with his axes, Ok’tharg sports his mother’s bow, which was given to him on his mother’s deathbed and is one of his most cherished and honored belongings.

Character Story: Ok’tharg was born on Draenor to Thurg’krog and Igrim, an honorable Mag’har warrior couple who were part of the Bleeding Hollow Clan. At an early age Ok’tharg was trained to be a warrior by his father, who was absolutely merciless on his son, beating him when he faulted and keeping an adamant appreciation when his son excelled. Swords, Maces, Axes, all these weapons were shown and taught to Ok’tharg as well as how to fight honorably, as his father told him that to not fight honorably, is to not fight at all and there would be no honor in your kill or on your name. Ok’tharg took this to heart and would remember his father’s words for years to come, while his mother taught him the ways of archery and how to hunt. As he became of age Ok’tharg would join with the Bleeding Hollow warriors on the hunt, becoming one of the more prominently known hunters of the Bleeding Hollow clan, known for his skills with a bow and his tracking abilities. Gradually his brown hued skin turned a light green as the demonic corruption gripping his people and his land took hold of him as well, fueling his rage.
At the age of 24 is when Ok’tharg watched the Dark Portal open in the land that would be known in the future as Hellfire Peninsula, and he and his fellow brethren rush out into the world known as Azeroth to face their Human opponents. Of course, it did not go well as they expected such an easy victory against the Humans, but were utterly defeated and pushed back after a failed attempt to take Stormwind. Not many Orcs survived that assault, but Ok’tharg was one of them and he and the survivors returned to Draenor to regroup with the other Clans. Turmoil erupted as each Clan blamed eachother for their initial loss, and chaos and anarchy threatened to overtake the Clans until Gul’Dan, a powerful Warlock and apprentice to Ner’zhul, came before the Orcs and appointed Blackhand of the Blackrock Clan Warchief of this newly formed Horde. Now with a leader controlling the actions of the Clans, they united a single, war-mongering entity and surged back out into Azeroth to reinforce their forces already present.
With this newly formed Horde, the Human settlements of Grand Hamlet and Sunnyglade were easily decimated and destroyed. Ok’tharg was like a demon on the battlefield, cutting down Humans left and right with his battleaxe, spilling the blood of many Humans, claiming many trophies. During this War, Gul’dan falls into a coma as a mighty warrior, Orgrim Doomhammer, discovers Gul’dans treachery and assassinates Blackhand and sends his elite Wolfriders to slay the organization known as the Shadow Council, who had really been using Blackhand as a puppet to control the Horde. With the Shadow Council gone, Blackhand slain, and Gul’dan in a coma, Orgrim took up the mantle of Warchief and continued the assault. Soon Ok’tharg and his brethren destroyed Goldshire, reveling in an orgy of destruction as they slew not only soldiers, but civilians as well, woman and children; none were spared the Horde’s wrath.
After Northshire and Moonbrook were destroyed, the Horde now re-advanced upon Stormwind and with their newfound unity and direction, they sacked it. Slaughtering dozens as King Llane Wyrnn was assassinated by Garona, and with the Human’s capital ransacked and the survivors routed, the Horde cheered and began burning the city. Ok’tharg pursued a single warrior as he attempted to escape the City, and engaged him in single combat on the docks. Of course Ok’tharg was stronger, larger and he easily cut down the Human soldier, but noticed as he did that two small forms watched the man being slain from a retreating boat. Ok’tharg grunted and returned to the rest of them, contemplating some things in his life, but before long he forgot all about the two boys and joined his brethren in a victory feast. The feasting lasted for days as the Orcs celebrated their Victory, but they wouldn't let their guard down yet. Survivors did escape the massacre of Stormwind and would probably alert whatever Humans were in the world to the Orcs, and another War would be on their hand. Ok'tharg thought, 'Let them come, Lok'tar Ogar, for the Horde!'
War did come, but not before a six year intermission in which both the Alliance of Lordaeron and the Horde reinforced their holdings and prepared themselves for war. Ok'tharg, along with the Bleeding Hollow Clan, was sent to Khaz'modan to fight against the Dwarfs and to control the Horde's vital mining and oil refinery positions, which it did with much zeal. Ok'tharg at first thought the Dwarves would be nothing, as did many Orcs, but he soon found out that besides being able to hold their Ale, they were also stalwart fighters and proved the Burning Hollow Clan with a true challenge. Ok'tharg fought against the Dwarves and Gnomes with a vicious brutality, not letting them have an inch and pushing the other Orcs with him to the bring of exhaustion in fighting them, and his methods payed off. Outnumbered by the superior Orcish force, the Dwarfs and Gnomes were pushed back into the Dwarven stronghold of Ironforge, and despite several Bleeding Hollow Clan raids to try and penetrate it, they failed and were pushed back. Shrugging off the Dwarfs for the time being, Ok'tharg led the charge into the Wetlands, aiding the in the taking of Dun Algaz and Dun Modr, transforming them into fortresses for the Horde.
However, with the Alliance and Elven forces now finally allying together, they managed to retake Tol Barad from the Horde, and use it as a Naval base to launch an attack on Dun Modr and successfully reclaim it, and then moved south to retake Dun Algoz. The Horde in Khaz Modan was successfully routed, and was forced to retreat southward less they faced utter defeat. Everything was falling apart, the Horde in Lordaeron was defeated, and pushed back to Blackrock where in a titanic battle, Orgrim was taken captive by the Alliance. Ok'tharg attempted to escape, but was subdued by Alliance forces, and knowing better than to fight back and be quickly cut down, he surrendered. The Orcs taken into captivity were rounded up and placed into Internment Camps across Lordaeron, and Ok'tharg was placed in the one that would be known in the future as Hammerfall. There Ok'tharg suffered from withdrawal from bloodlust and rage, and went into a lethargy with the other Orcs.
Years passed as Ok'tharg remained in the Internment Camp, until one day an Orc by the name of Thrall came to free them, along Thrall was Orgrim Doomhammer and dozens of other freed Orcs. Thrall and Orgrim fought fiercely to free the Orcs, and finally they succeeded, but not at a terrible price. Orgrim was mortally wounded in battle, but before he died he passed on the Doomhammer and his Armor onto Thrall, naming him the new Warchief of the Horde. Ok'tharg honored Orgrim with a Death Song, but mourning would have to wait as they fled with Thrall. Weeks later Ok'tharg would venture with Thrall on one of the stolen Human vessels across the Sea to Kalimdor, braving the terrors of the Lost isles and bringing with them the Darkspear Trolls. Finally they landed on Kalimdor, but during the travels many of the vessels the Orcs had hyjacked went off course and landed on various other points across the coast. Ok'tharg and his band of Orcs went to go find them, braving the perils of this new and harsh land.
Ok'tharg and his band discovered one of the crashed vessels, which had come under attack by Centaur and Quillboar. Ok'tharg rushed to their aid, and with his band they easily fended off the attack, but it came at a price. Ok'tharg's father was part of the mortally wounded survivors, and before he died he gave Ok'tharg his enchanted Axes and his armor. Ok'tharg took these gifts from his father, and buried his father right there on the shore. Reuniting with the majority of the Orcs, including the Warsong Clan, which against Thrall's orders attacked a Human settlement nearby and Grom Hellscream and his Clan were sent to Ashenvale to harvest lumber, Ok'tharg was also sent to go despite not being a Warsong. He did so gladly, a bit curious about what would lie within' the Forest, and what he did find were the Night Elves, who attacked the Warsong Clan because they were cutting down their ancestral forest. Ok'tharg and the Warsong Clan engaged the Night Elves, who proved to be extremely skilled fighters despite being mostly made up of woman.
Ok'tharg was separated from his band, but managed to hold his own until one of the Night Elves managed to take his eye with a well placed throwing dagger. Luckily the dagger didn't penetrate all the way in, and Ok'tharg was spared a death blow and all the pain did was to increase his bloodlust and anger. Ok'tharg summoned his strength forth and engaged dozens of Night Elves, spilling so much blood it was like an ocean of crimson, and finally returned to the Warsong Clan after slaying about two dozen Night Elves, his belt riddled with their chopped off ears. Suddenly the Night Elf's Forest Lord, Cenarius, came to attack the Warsong, and was rightly decimating their forces without seemingly using much effort. Desperate, Grommash Hellscream took a few of his Soldiers and on the word of a Troll Witch Doctor, found a pool of Demonic blood, which he himself, and soon Ok'tharg and the rest of the Clan, drank and became empowered with Bloodlust, their skin turning from Green to Red. Ok'tharg rejoined the battle, and using his demonically enhanced strength slaughtered even more Night Elves, cleaving a path through their ranks like they were nothing.
However, Ok'tharg and the rest of the Warsong Clan once again fell under the sway of Mannoroth, and became his slaves. They were released when the combined efforts of Thrall, Jaina Proudmoore of the Humans, and Cairne of the Tauren captured Grom and released him from the bloodlust. The rest of the Clan, including Ok'tharg were returned to normal when Grom slew the mighty Mannoroth, (at the cost of his own life) and freed the Orcs from decades of demonic corruption. However, things were not over just yet. The Legion and the Scourge had to be dealt with, and so under the advice of Medivh, the Last Guardian, the Humans, Orcs, and Night Elves formed an uneasy Alliance and managed to slay many of Archimonde's commanders before the mighty Eredar was slain at the World Tree. The Mortal forces rejoiced, the Legion had been defeated and their horribly field commander slain, and Ok'tharg momentarily forgot his hatreds against the Elves and Humans, and joined in the celebration. But soon, all good things had to come to an end, and Ok'tharg followed Thrall to the newly dubbed land, Durotar, which would become Ok'tharg's home for years to come.
Years passed as Ok'tharg carved out a living in Durotar, a scarred Veteran of not one, not two, but three terrible Wars, the latter of which cost him his right eye. In the years following the Third War, a Demon lord by the name of Kazzak would reopen the Dark Portal, forcing the Alliance and Horde to delve into the shattered world of Draenor, now known as Outland, and defeat the Legion forces there, as well as Illidan the betrayer's forces. Ok'tharg took this chance to return to Draenor, and traveled to Nagrand to find if any of his family still remained. In Nagrand he found his mother, a withered old Orc who was close to dying. Ok'tharg stood by his mother's side until she died, and in the final moments of her life she gifted Ok'tharg with her bow, and Ok'tharg promised her that he would cherish it and keep it safe. He rejoined the Horde in the War in Outland, and using his skills in Archery in Combat, spilled the blood of Demon, Fel Orc and Blood Elf alike as the War was soon brought to Illidan's doorstep, and the Betrayer was slain by Akama and Maeiv. Ok'tharg returned from Draenor to Azeroth, and made his way back to Durotar where he built a home for himself in the rugged Valleys, and started out a more simple life as a farmer and a boar breeder. However, peace would not be given to this veteran for long.
War again broke out years later, when the Lich King awoke from the Frozen Throne, and initiated a grand War against all of Azeroth. The Alliance and Horde reacted immediately, and constructed fortifications on Northrend and brought the fight to the Lich King. Ok'tharg was one of the many Orcs drafted into the War, but he was unprepared for the horrors to come and the freezing cold, but he endured and aided the Horde in many conquests. From the Borean Tundra to Icecrown did Ok'tharg fight, until finally the Lich King was slain by Tirion Fordring, and Ok'tharg again returned home from another bloody and grueling War, just wanting peace for once. He settled down in Durotar, found himself a mate and began to live a happy life, but... once again, peace was just not for Ok'tharg as Deathwing the Destroyed emerged from Deepholm three years later, and another grand-scale war erupted across all of Azeroth. Ok'tharg had survived the First, Second, and Third War, survived the War in Outland, and even the War against the Lich King... but would he be able to survive against the onslaught of the Destroyer?
