Reason For Roleplay: looking to try out a longer, more complex thread.

Plot Outline: a failed assassination attempt against the Herglic senator Beluga Orcta leads to the Senate suspecting Sith involvement and asking for the involvment of the Jedi. A fed up Beluga decides to hire a private detective rather to look for the real culprit using real evidence rather than to let the senate go on a fully fledged witch hunt.

Well the sith thing was kinda speculated, neither of us really wanted sith involvment in the thread, it was just a if nothing else works idea.

I'll let pine make the overall choice sense it was pine's idea.

Actually I was more worried that no Sith would want to RP in this. But it might be a good idea to have at least one Sith around to balance out the presence of the Jedi.

Just a word of warning lmr, it won't be a major role. It's just that the Senate and the Jedi are working frantically to try to pin the assassination attempt on the Sith and I thought it'd be fun if they wrongly accused one.

I'm down for investigating alongside Aldric.

1. We've forked together in the past.

2. I've gone on Senator (Protection) missions in the past, and one turning up again even though it was a failed attempt could warrant my tag along to get too the bottom of it, making sure that there was infact some Sith involvement and not just some insane bounty hunter or something of the sort.

3. If pine agrees that is.

She had only recently became a Knight, and would be looking for her first mission as a Jedi Peacekeeper. Only problem is i noticed your trying a long and complex thread, and this would be my first go at roleplay, so your call.

This is the right thread to go to. However using your Jedi would pose some problems.

First of all if she has to go up against Naraka at some point in the thread then it would be extremely painful. For you. Naraka's a Sith Master after all, and a recently appointed Knight doesn't stand much of a chance against her. Given this, are you still willing to RP with Ysera in this thread?

Secondly the Jedi wouldn't send an inexperienced knight on this mission. Unless they expected only a low level Sith to be involved. Which could make some sense actually. Or if the Jedi council was just fed up with the Senate and decided to send someone just to stop them from whining any further. This could actually work from a logical point of view.

So really it all comes down to whether you're willing to RP in a long thread where you're likely to end up facing a Sith that you can't possibly win against. It's up to you.

I dont mind, if my character is outmatched then ill just have to play it smart instead of going in all guns blazing. I just happy to try some RP and learn as i go. End result is whatever it is as long as i get some experience.
