Lord Callidus was perhaps one of or the most obscure Sith Lords. Only those that worked with or for him had any real knowledge of him at all. This was how he liked to operate usually, but in recent times he has changed his focus. In an attempt to expand his influence among the Sith he has begun to reach out to specific Sith in whom he sees potential or usefulness. This system has been somewhat effective but he has decided to try to cast a wider net. Additionally, he considers himself a Sith purist when it comes to philosophy and doctrine and is widely considered one of the authorities in the field. He has recently felt compelled to instruct the younger Sith in proper Sith philosophy lest the order rot from the inside. All too often when the Sith have launched wars, philosophy and proper training are foregone to mass produce warriors. While these warriors have their use, they are not true Sith and weaken the order overall. Thus he has now taken it upon himself to see that all are properly taught the true Sith way.
He sent out a message to all - especially initiates and apprentices - inviting them to attend. The message indicates that opportunities for advancement and excitement lie in wait for those who attend.
The class was to be held in a large meditation center. Several objects were on display at the front of the room, various Sith artifacts and documents. Next to the items was a holo-projector. Several droids stood in the back of the room. Chairs were available on the left and right sides of the room but the center had been left intentionally clear. All was set for the students to arrive.
