Name: Nilo Kharr
Race: Miraluka
Age: 18
Height: 6'1
Weight: 180 lbs
Appearance: Being of the race Miraluka, Nilo has no eyes, which is covered by a dark tinted visor, however it does nothing to stop him from seeing, being able to use the power of force sight. He is clothed in regular fibers, however the cloth has been darkened. He moves gracefully, without ever fumbling or losing balance. He is not stout but is not thin, he has almost no hair to speak of, and that is covered by a hood most of the time. His face seems dark, because of his thick cheekbones which cause shadows to appear on his face. His hands have notable scars on them, some of them cuts, most of them burns. The rest of his body is pale, like most Miraluka.
Personality: Unlike many Sith, he is not charismatic or loud, he speaks in a low tone. He is not sadistic, but there is no doubt he is evil. The one thing he does bare congruent with the Sith is his hatred for the Republic, and his lust for controlling the galaxy. In his mind, the Republic is corrupt, ruled by the rich and the weak. He believes the Republic is evil, and the Sith are the innocent ones, being hunted mercilessly by the Jedi/Republic.

Bio:
Nilo was born into poverty on Coruscant, his parents were poor-stricken beggars who could barely scrape up enough credits for a meal. Nilo spent many nights cold and alone, ironic for living on a city-planet inhabited by billions. His father, Jan Kharr was a low level member of the local crime syndicate. An enforcer of sorts, extorting and roughing up enemies of the gang. Nilo had fond memories of his mother, who tried to shelter him from the nature of his father's work.
One night Nilo's father failed to return, but instead a Jedi, who introduced himself as Dacob Larr, accompanied by several Republican troopers. They were there to confiscate any evidence about his father's criminal activities. After the troopers were done, taking items such as his father's blaster. Dacob inquired about Nilo, asking his mother if he was unusual, being if he could react quicker than others. Dacob declaimed he would come back several days later.
When Dacob did return, he returned with good news. Nilo had been accepted to the Jedi Order. His mother was ecstatic and saddened at the same time. She was ecstatic that would finally leave the grasp of poverty, but saddened that she may never see him again. She said farewell as Nilo left, now at the age of six, to join the ranks of the Jedi. At this point he did what many younglings did, train, meditate, then train again. He along with many other younglings were taught political strategy, language, and galactic law, or at least Republican law. They also began training with training lightsabers under the highly qualified combat master Trikko Kaast. Nilo showed exceptional prowess with a lightsaber, and was the best in his class. Most of them learned at least the basics of several forms.
This period in his life lasted for six years, until at the age of 12 Nilo passed the graduation tests, and had a choice of becoming a Padawan or leaving the order. He chose to become a Padawan and participated in the annual Apprentice Tournament to find a potential master. There he showed his combat skills, and knowledge of the force. At the end of the tournament, in which Nilo almost won he was approached by a familiar figure, Jedi Master Dacob Larr, who took him as an apprentice.
Over several years Master Dacob passed on his experiences to Nilo. Dacob trained Nilo heavily in saber combat, placing modest emphasis on force power. It was Dacob who truly taught Nilo the form of Djem So. At the age of 15 Nilo accompanied Master Dacob on a mission to Taris, a planet still rebuilding in the wake of the Jedi Civil War. The objective was to find a Jedi who had disappeared under suspicious circumstances. The name of said Jedi was Lelia Noost, sent there to investigate rumors of Sith commandos in hiding, spying on Republic shipping.
Dacob and Nilo headed to the last known location of Lelia, there they found signs of battle, and a broken double-bladed lightsaber. They were dismayed in this news, for it was definitely Lelia's, and they doubted a commando wielding a vibrosword could have down this. However they continued questioning locals, until they found direct information regarding their exact whereabouts, in a ruined warehouse in the under city. The two Jedi went there, only to find Lelia held in stasis. Out of the shadows came several Sith commandos, led by a Dark Jedi, who claimed to be a Master though Dacob believed he was a much weaker opponent than he claimed. They fought in a brutal battle of wills, but the Dark Jedi managed to wound Dacob before withdrawing, leaving the commandos to fight Nilo. He slayed two of the commandos before they fled as well. Nilo stayed with Dacob, and the injury seemed minor at first, but Dacob was certain this was the end for him after several hours. He died in the hands of his apprentice, who vowed he would find and destroy the men who ha skilled his master.
He did not tell the Order what had happened, he thought that would waste time. He searched for them throughout Taris, all the time without his knowledge he was letting his anger take over him. During his he met an old man named Harka Nour, apparently a Grey Jedi who pledged his help in finding these Sith. After almost a year of searching Nilo found them, and confronted them with Harka Nour. Together they butchered the remaining Sith commandos, and confronted the Dark Jedi. After a long battle, Nilo gained the upper hand through luck and sheer will. His conscience however forced him to hesitate if he would kill his enemy or arrest him, which is the way of the Jedi. Harka encouraged him to kill the Dark Jedi, saying its what your master would have wanted. Nilo killed him, but now knew the Order would never understand.
Nilo travelled with Harka to many planets, hunting down other Dark Jedi that were associated with the one he had killed on Taris. Still without his knowledge he was slowly drifting towards the Dark Side. During one of these confrontations however, Harka was killed. This pushed Nilo over the edge, truly into the Dark Side. Anger consumed him, how he had let all the people he had cared about die. The Jedi could not keep the innocent alive, he had seen that now. He believed the power of the Dark Side, though oppressive was the only way to keep peace in the Galaxy. Now at the age of 18, with the rise of the New Sith Order, he finally had a chance to fulfill his plan.
RP Sample: The two locked sabers, each trying to best each other with pure strength, but they could not. They circled once more, scanning for weaknesses. The hum of the sabers and their tired breathing was all that could be heard to the either of them. Nilo rarely spoke, but took this opportunity to do so: "You see Master, I have become more powerful since we last met..." Nilo then motioned to a scar on his right hand, "...never again will I ever be defeated!" And with that, Nilo initiated the first blow of a quick paced duel.
Both showed prowess in the art of saber combat, rebounding off each other's strikes and dodging close attacks. The old master spoke again, "Nilo, you have truly fallen from the light. I have failed you..." The Sith disregarded the comment from his former master and continued the duel. Nilo attacked from above, with all his strength which forced the Jedi to stagger, taking the opportunity Nilo used the power of force lightning. The power of it rocked the floors.
Nilo could not keep it up, it was draining him. He relented his assault, and the Jedi fell to the floor. Nilo felt a presence in the room besides him and the jedi, but disregarded it as the after effect of exhausting himself in the force. He knelt over his wounded master, and without warning silenced him with his saber. As he turned to exit quickly, a dark figure stood in the way. "Good young one, very good..."
The young Sith had finally proven himself.
