Planet Name: Ayoheu
Planet Type: Terrestrial
Habitable: Yes
System: Ayoheu, Outer Rim, closest planet is Tatooine
(OOC: I do not take credit for this image.)
Terrain Overview: Ayoheu has been described as a tropical paradise, and the description certainty fits. It is mostly covered in lush rainforests and warm oceans. The cities on the planet are designed around the purpose of entertainment and relaxation.
Notable Geographic Features:
*Paradise Island, the main island on the planet and home to the capital.
*Mt.Kukonunu, A huge supervolcano that doubles as a major tourist attraction.
*The Great Rainforest, an enormous rainforest spanning the entire continent.
Capital City: Paradise City, an urban jungle sprawled along the coastline. At the center of the city is the Headquarters of Good Life, Inc., the corporation that happens to own the planet. Luckily for the local aliens, they happen to own the corporation.
Major cities:
*Saforon, a small city on an island near the Great Rainforest. All the locals who don't want to work for Good Life, Inc. usually end up here.
*So-Ron. This city hasn't been blessed with the wealth that the tourism brings. It is basically a huge shanty town.
*Pandora City. Criminals are imprisoned here. Can't have smugglers, bounty hunters and slicers running around, after all, bad for business...
Sentient species: The Kinshals, a squid-like species similar to a cross between the Mon Calamari and the Hutts. Their culture revolves around corporate success.
Non-Sentient species of note: Not many. There is the Four-Armed Monkey, but they are only notable for obvious reasons.
History:
The Kinshals have ruled the planet and Good Life, Inc. for a long time, into Human prehistory. However, Ayoheu wasn't discovered by Humans until 4500 BBY, when traders came across the planet and fell in love.
Tourists headed for Ayoheu in droves. The Kinshals, most pleased by the sudden influx of money, turned the planet into a resort world. They also bought other planets in the system, built domes and made theme parks for the highest bidder.
All was well until a few months ago. The corporation had become incresingly corrupt, and was manipulating currency, buying slaves, etc. The Republic kindly asked them to stop.
The Kinshals went nuts.
Ayoheu broke off from the Republic. They threatened to join the Sith if the Republic attacked. With the Sith still a new threat, the Republic was cautious.
For some reason, the planet still receives tourism, mostly because the Republic never officially closed the borders. However, the Ayoheu Crisis is ongoing...
