TORIK SOLIMAR
BASIC INFO
Faction: Republic Department: Special Forces | Infiltration Rank: Captain | Squad Leader
Name: Torik Solimar Race: Human Age: 41 Height: 6'3" Weight: 210 lbs Birth place: Dantooine | Outer Rim
Appearance:
As a man who has been through hell and back, Torik is probably exactly what you expect, with a gruff, stern and commanding voice capable of implanting both fear and respect into all he communicates with. He carries himself with his usual smug pride, letting all around him know that he is not to be trifled with on any level.
His features are rather striking, usually the first to be noticed being his rather smug expression, oozing confidence and pride, considered by some to be rather handsome. Perhaps it is this that inspires his men to fight on, or perhaps it is simply vanity, no one can know for sure. His mahogany eyes scream of the horrors of war, the torturing memories he holds in his head but never lets out, as if they are windows into the deeper parts of his psyche. His hair has gone through many changes, particularly in his time as a Jedi Knight, having it styled in a long braid that actually reached down his back towards his hips. Now however, he has cut it short, mostly due to military regulation though also partly to his desire to forget his past, forget everything that ever happened to him and focus on the present and the future. Of course, one thing we can't avoid talking about is his iconic facial hair, colored a dark brown like his actual hair and styled in a simple goatee fashion with the edges of the mustache shaven.
His body is very much conditioned for veteran warfare, having fought not only for the Republic but for his own survival for many, many years. Surprisingly, however, his muscles aren't quite as prominent as you might think, except in his legs. You see, most of his method of survival was based around running away, climbing and killing in one blow from afar, so strength in the upper body, while needed, wasn't needed as much as strength in the lower body. The ability to climb and be agile is something he is very proud of, having worked on his flexibility and dexterity throughout his whole life. Of course, he holds many, many scars across his body, most of which are found on his chest and arms, showing just how far he was to stay alive, resorting to the point where sticking your arm into thorns that had enough strength to shear through tendons was a common occurrence.
Naturally, of course Torik wears clothes, often called upon to perform debriefings or relate news to Senators about the state of the Republic Army, mostly because, being an ex-Jedi, they trust him a hell of a lot more than the Generals, something Torik doesn't really appreciate. He has a rather fancy suit for these kinds of tasks however, navy pinstripe with his Captain insignia on the right breast, a white shirt and rather fitting yellow tie. Along with this, his tan brown loafer-type shoes, made of expensive leather and stitched to perfection by only the best Coruscantian tailors. It's a wonder the ladies aren't falling off of him by now but he knows better than to start anything like that.

Just as a little heads up. I'd suggest having "Intelligence" at being at least 5 if he's going to be Special Forces, especially a captain. They actually do take IQ tests and there's the ASVAB test in the military. And if education and simple logic understanding aren't measuring to at least average intelligence these days, one's progress or even entrance into the military is quite limited--if possible at all.
I mean, I'm not exaggerating when I say with a 4 in Intelligence is basically being like Forest Gump. Average intelligence for an adult is around 95-110 IQ, that's basically a 5 in Intelligence. So having a 4 in Intelligence puts this guy around the 80 range, maaaaaaybe squeaking into the low 90s... MAYBE... it's a big maybe. Which literally does put him at Forest Gump levels of intelligence. But, despite that was a good, classic movie, notice he was never able to get beyond being an infantryman in the Army? There's a solid reason for that. No way in hell would even the military--the Army no less, give a person with that much mental inefficiency as much responsibility as what's expected of someone running a black ops unit, more so an officers position giving even more authority beyond just their unit alone.
So, again, I highly suggest that 5 in Intelligence. It may not seem like much, but trust me, it makes a difference. He still won't be the brightest bulb in the house, nor be much of an academic--if at all... But he at least won't be Forest Gump levels of intelligence.
