Senator Chu Shin is the perfect example of a Pantoran. She has light blue skin with several yellowish-orange simi-circle tattoos on her face. She has one on her forehead and the two on her left cheek. Her hair is just turning from the light purple it once was to a white showing her age. Shin keeps her hair medium length sometimes letting it fall straight with her headdress signifying her status as a Senator. Other times she wears her hair up in a bun that is held in place with a different headdress.
Most of the time she can be found wearing her Grand Assembly attire. Though she can also be seen in most casual cloths while back on her home planet of Pantora. She stays in fancy robes while on Coruscant to look official as well when she travels to other systems for business.
She doesn't like to wear much jewelry but she has gotten accustom to the fancy headdress. She has several different ones for different occasions and hair styles. Chu wear one piece of jewelry besides the headdresses which is a ring that her husband gave her on his death bed. It symbolizes his love for her and the bond they shared for nearly thirty years. She wears it constantly on her right ring finger.

Birth of a Pantoran Senator
Chu was born in a family with a long line of Senators. As far back as she could remember. Chu Shin was the eldest child of Senator Fa Shin and Senator Ren Shin. Her parent met while they were junior senators under Fa's father, Chu's paternal grandfather, Hu Shin.
Ren insisted that she return to Pantora to give birth to Chu. It was something she promised her parents. Chu was born in 3651 BBY, and was already the talk of the planet with them saying her destiny was becoming a Senator. Fa and Ren stayed on Pantora for couple month before Fa had to return to Coruscant to resume his Senatorial duties.
Chu was a happy baby, never really fussing and seemed to already be intelligent. At the age of three she was already putting together simple sentences. By this time her mother just gave birth to her only brother Kiron. She was excited to be a big sister, she helped her mother take care of Kiron. Doing so helped form a great none between them that would last their whole lives.
It was around the age of five when Chu started to travel to Coruscant with her father. She enjoyed the time that she got to spend with him. She would sit in his office and listen to him speak to the other senators and even a Jedi every known and then. There was one senator that was always nice to Chu. It was the Senator Knesos of Alderaan. She always brought Chu some sort of candy or gift from Alderaan when she visited.
When her and Kiron got to be the ages 8 and 5, respectively, they started learning different languages. Though Chu had started at the age of 5 so she was a little advanced then her little brother. They would study hours a day with private tutors in Huttese, Rodese, Durese, and Gran. The siblings would test out the new dialogs on the senators that would come into their parents office.
It was getting about the time for Chu Shin to be sent to the Diplomatic Institute on Coruscant. She was excites that she was going to start learning more about what her family did. She had been excited because she would get to spend time with kids her own age as well. She did enjoy spending time with Kiron but she wanted to meet others and learn about other cultures.
